Hello and welcome, I am Nomin Su of Royal Dakiro News located in Yaosai, the imperial capital of the Serene Imperial State of Dakiro. I am honored to be the first to broadcast on the relaunched ARNN. On to the national happenings in Dakiro:

The New Silk Road
His Imperial Highness, Emperor Yan(pictured below), is pleased to announce to the people that the New Silk Road Project in Dakiro has been completed.



The New Silk Road is a grand engineering road and rail project orchestrated by the Emperor to streamline national transport and especially to boost international trade. The project extended internationally as the Emperor negotiated with the Sheng China and Tam Amisgal to literally recreate the historical Silk Road of antiquity(pictured below).



Though the route will be altered slightly to run through Tam Amisgal and onto the Caspian Sea it will still emulate the original. Yaosai City will act as the hub of the New Silk Road with Chang'an being the current end of the Chinese branch and Chono Khot being the current end of the Tam Amisgal branch once both routes have been completed and linked with Dakiro. Further destinations in both countries are to expected as well as expansion into other nations as well.

The Emperor is confident that this project will not only be economically successful, but culturally beneficial as well in promoting political harmony, trade, and cultural exchange between the three allied nations.

The nation remains shell shocked after the events of the assassination and collapse of the Argentian Government. Hundreds of government officials and military leaders are now dead or missing after the darkest day in Argentian history. The simultaneous assassination of the government lead to its quick collapse lead to a destructive power vacuum and momentary return to warlordism throughout the nation.

Many buildings remained scorched and some even smolder from the fires of explosives set upon officials. The assassinations even reached to our nation's ambassadors internationally with officials being gunned down in the streets or killed in their sleep.

The infamous international terrorist, the Phantom, has claimed responsibility for the destruction of the Argentian political structure and the resulting continued terrorist acts found throughout Argent and the world to further continue the chaos and fear that has gripped the people of our fair nation and the world.

Current defacto head of state, Grand Marshal Andrik Koze, has lead Republican Armed forces in the fight to reunite the nation, by defeating the warlords and rooting out terrorist strongholds.

The Grand Marshal's fight has been slowed significantly because of dissidents in the army, reported especially among officers. Despite this set back, Koze is preparing to march on the remains of the capital of Pazar. To then officially move the capital back to Zevezda.

The nation continues to hold it's breath as Allies battle in the north against Phantom terrorist forces and the Grand Marshal struggles to reunite our broken nation.

Chono Khot and all the peoples of Tam Amisgal are in boisterous celebration. The Mongolian new year, Tsagaan Sar, has begun! Fire works crack through the streets and skies. Drums and pipes play festive music.



The people lively with food and drink cheer in celebration for the start of the new year. Parades march with performers, floats, horses, and display mecha animals of the armies.

Work has been called of on account of the celebrations. The Great Khan, Batzorig, herself been seen about the capital drinking eating and celebrating with many women and men on her arms in skimp outfits to escort her in celebration and keep her cups full.

The Great Khan sends well wishes to the world for the great new year. "The year of the Monkey has come and let joys spread to all. May stars above bless you all!" She joyously announced to her people and the world from her great palace yurt.

On the occasion of the New Year, Great Khan Batzorig also declared the completion of the New Silk Road project from Chono Khot to the border to meet with West Dakiro's route. She cheerfully looks forward to the project being completed to tie the two kin nations of Tam Amisgal and Dakiro together as well as have easier access to the Sheng Empire.



Great Khan Batzorig toasted to the project at its completion point on the border with West Dakiro. "The old Silk Road will have nothing on our new one." She declared boisterously with a laugh to the sky, "We'll bring our world a little closer together with the amazing innovations of our peoples. This road will be the most lucrative and longstanding joint project in recent history."

The Great Khan is seen with a wicked smile, "I know I'll have fun on it." She grabs the young pretty female reporter on the scene for the station. The girl squeals with a giggle as the Khan wraps her arm around the other female's shoulders. "Very little is more of a turn on for me than maxing out the speedometer and rpms of my top of the line cars." The Great Khan Batzorig looks at her temporary captive, "How 'bout you babe?" She flirtatiously asks the now blushing reporter.

Today in the Empire,

Thunderous drums and instruments roar through the cities of the Empire! Fireworks bath the day and night skies with colors. The air is filled with smells of sweets and traditional foods from vendors about the squares. The streets are covered in red and gold decorations from banners and figures to lanterns and symbols.

The Grand Plaza outside the Imperial Palace in Yong'an is bustling with activity as thousands come to enjoy the festivities. Parades and performers entertain the crowds. Vendors sell food, decorations, toys, and so on to the people. Joyous songs and tunes play over the PA speakers in the Plaza and through the Imperial Capital by order of the Grand Empress for the celebratory holiday atmosphere. The new year is upon the nation. The Year of the Fire Monkey has come. The Empire is in jubilation! This year will be one of ambition and adventure for the people of the Confederate Empire.

Even Grand Prince Wei has been seen in the holiday spirit as he released a photo(shown below) of himself in the face paint of New Year Monkey.

As is the custom of the Sheng Empire, a unilateral declaration of peace and ceasefire has been made by the Grand Empress for the duration of the new year celebration, which lasts a full week. The Empire will not act aggressively in any military campaigns and move to defensive positions instead for the new year celebrations.

The Grand Empress(pictured above) on the behalf of the entire Empire wishes the world great fortune and prosperity this year in this adventurous and advantageous year that is the monkey. Though above all else, she prays for peace and understanding in the world, warning caution as "fortune and prosperity can go as quickly and more easily than it was gained."

Trouble At The Border

Following an incident between Singpuan interceptors and Ablyan fighters, the Imperial Government has issued a declaration. Movement across the Ablyan-Singpuan border has been closed and Singpuan forces are being stationed periodically. They warn that any movement by the border will be stopped.

The Imperial District and other areas have also been put on lockdown; the military has set the waters around the Imperial District as restricted waters with the Coast Guard on high alert; airs around the Imperial District are also restricted, with military bases across Chize and the Imperial District on high alert.

The government has also restricted movement near Nova and Nox in Quezon; waters around Quezon near the two cities are restricted, likely due to the proximity to the border and the presence of the Imperial Air Command in those cities.

The government has reported that maps of what is restricted are available on request.

The new Ablyan rail guns can shoot a projectile with an impact velocity of Mach 5 to targets at ranges of 250 miles, at a rate greater than 6 rounds per minute.In addition to weapon system the Ablyan Aeronautics and Space Administration has proposed to make a very large rail gun to use as a "space gun" to use as a alternative to rockets to put satellites in space.

The Orbital Delivery Vehicle is to make its first flight this weekend, it will be carrying scientific equipment and communications sattilites.
