TFA is usually a P/MT group.
Um. It's an international coalition of special forces teams, supported by a network of units, R&D, and various other personnel, aircraft, and vessels that assist the special forces units when not being supported by local assets.
That's about it, really.
Also, I'll get a Russian post up... sometime... But... alcohol...

Dat's fine. Alcohol comes first. I myself picked up my father's taste for expensive gin
Anyways, TFA sounds rather fascinating... so I might just apply...

Are there any supernatural or fantasy elements? If so, briefly describe them: No.
Has your nation visited, explored, or established livable areas on any extraterrestrial planets/moons? If so, briefly describe them: Colonies have been established on many worlds within the Apollo system, most notably on Mars, which is now home to over a hundred bustling megacities. Extrasolar colonies have also been established on several inhabitable planets, however they tend to be smaller and less advanced than the "Core Worlds".
Are there any non-human sentient species within your nation? If so, briefly describe them: No.Official Stuff
Do you agree to abide by the rules and regulations established by the Razor's Edge Cooperative Council? Yes.
To what extent will you be able to contribute to roleplay and discussion in this group? Depends. I occasionally find myself extremely busy, but Should be able to post at least weekly.
Are you a part of any other NS groups? The LoM

Do you have any questions regarding this group or its members? No.
Do you have any extra information I need to know about you or your nation? No.

The Commonwealth uses handheld chemical weapons, and although they can be exceedingly dangerous to the wielder, they can also be absolutely devastating.Razor's Edge Cooperative Membership FormNational Information

I've found that mixing units of water consumption with your units of alcohol consumption can make hangovers not a problem. Though to be fair I've a hard time getting drunk in the first place so...

Vistora wrote:The United Remnants of America wrote:That's fair enough. And it raises a point that I've seen in the current AAA games that are in PMT environments, such as CoD: BO3, where the caliber rounds seems to be different than most modern rounds. Iirc, a really popular round in BO3 was a 6.8mm round, which isn't extremely popular currently.
But still, I guess it just depends on what you want in your canon. In my world, the popular rounds are Both NATO rounds, 9x19 Para for most weapons, as well as 5.7mm for Special forces pistols, .300 WinMag and .50 BFG for sniper rounds and the ever-present 12 gauge shotgun shell. So it's all based on preference.
Yep, more or less. In my canon, all calibers, including shotgun shells, are measured simply in millimeters, with rough equivalencies to English calibers. The .44 Magnum is now the 11mm and the .40 is now the 10mm (I know the 10mm Auto does exist IRL). Most of the calibers are integers as well, except for the 5.7mm and 7.8mm, which are merely my canon's rechristening of the NATO 5.56 and 7.62. This much is evident in my weapons factbook.

Replying to 4 day old post because I can.
So does this mean that a 12mm round would not be unreasonable for an automatic weapon in the Vistoran canon? Because I was already considering making whatever-my-character's-name-was' main weapon a crappy version of the Excidian Perelandran Armaments Starsong Mk II, which fires 12mm by 48mm rocket ammunition.
Just imagine the Starsong but with less ammunition and worse guidance systems and shorter range.

It would be on the heavier side for sure, but yeah, that would be viable. Keep in mind that it would likely be slow-firing and have limited ammunition as well. Will the projectiles be ordinary bullets with explosive ordinance or gyrojets/miniature rockets?
