That already happened though. We started a 20-year ongoing campaign because of it.

Also, poll's up

I should probably also mention that Ashkera is the co-progenitor and co-coordinator of the Tech Progression Compendium.

The Tech Progression Compendium is a multifaceted system of ranking technological progression along multiple paradigms, separated by scientific discipline. This allows for asymmetrical tech development to be properly categorized, and a particular focus on PMT will be given.

Basically its a way of breaking down different types of PMT from others. For example my own rate of advancement would be very different from yours, or Vistora's, or Mecharussia's or the "PMT" of the Lusitanian Federation.

We could do both. I might select the top two for simultaneous effort, depending on how my IRL schedule works out.

Actually, its main purpose is to distinguish different types of technologies from one another, for instances of asymmetrical development. For example, one nation might have highly advanced nuclear technology, but substandard spacefaring tech, while another nation might "specialize" in biomedicine and another in computer-based tech.

Sorry, but your tech level--or at least as much about it that I can decipher--does not seem to fit within our PMT boundaries. Firstly, being set in 2016 would make you pretty clearly MT, even if you blend it with fantasy elements. Moving on from there, you state that you prefer to stay away from narratives on the intergalactic scale. That in as of itself is perfectly desirable in a PMT nation, but it implies that you nevertheless are set on an interstellar scale, which still exceeds our bounds. You'll have to clarify in reasonable detail the tech your nation possesses and the scale it is set on, if only to rectify the more egregious incongruities.

Does anyone know of hypothetical and realistic solutions for anti-gravity generators?

I must be the only one asking questions here...

If ever you have a question, please feel free throw it out there. Curiosity is essential to understanding.

Also, no. Antigravity is very solidly outside the realm of known science, unless you include inertial "gravity" created using the centripetal force, tangential velocity, and perpendicular acceleration centrifugal force on the inside of a rotating ring or tube. This is where the concept of a ringworld came from. Other than using non-gravitational acceleration to simulate gravity, there is no known way of generating a powerful gravitational field without having a planetary mass on hand.

Then our anti-gravity generators must be one of very few unrealistic gadgets we have in our canon...

We need those to have our spaceships enter and exit a planet's atmosphere confortably, without suffering from the effects of atmospheric reentry.
Heck, we have an airship that looks to big to fly and land like an aircraft, i needed something to keep it "floating"...

Oh, and it does't look like the Hindemburg. It looks more like the Aigaion from the Ace Combat Series

Hey, did you steal my Ouranos as well!? Damn thieves.

Also, even if antigravity is unrealistic, its use is excusable in the same manner as FTL travel, in that it is so useful and integral to FT technology that it is hard to forgo. I determined, after some number-crunching, that it could possibly fly with the use of potential futuristic technologies, and thus sufficiently realistic enough for use in my canon.

Worry not. It has made our jungle warfare action-movie worthy.

And yes, it was very much too badass not to steal. I wasn't even planning on making a hovercraft until I found the Tarambola in your factbook and decided I needed to make a hovercraft just to use the image.
