Can you tell me more about your Manhattan Center for Space Exploration?

It was founded around 1880 in Manhattan before Lancastro became independent by a handful of scientists and gentry who had interests in their developments. They first specialized in weapons development, attempting to create more efficient small arms and cannons, and their research was used by the Italian League in their war for independence in 1905. They switched over to Nuclear Physics in 1932, creating Lancastro's first weapon of mass destruction 12 years later. During the 1960s and 70s, they started investing in Space Exploration, and the government purchased a large atoll near the equator for launches. They have sent their first satellite into space in 1976 and their first man in 1989.

No. Venture's communications were nowhere near the rear of the craft, and even if they were, we still have Inspiration's newly installed communications to use. We'll have plenty of RP events, do not worry, but comms aren't going down.

My character isn't the one to be solving these issues in the heat of the moment because she's just the mission specialist, but here are some potential problems that might arise, and whether or not they do, mission control will probably want you to look into them:

-Fire in the damaged section.
-Fuel leak [RCS leak already occurring]
-Damage to pressurized containers/pipes in the area (fuel, Oxygen, etc.)

Additionally, one of the pilots might want to shut down electricity to the rear of the shuttle quickly. Electrical shorts would be a really good way for something to catch fire if anything involving Oxygen (like, say, dinitrogen tetroxide from the RCS system) happened to be leaking nearby. (Then again, seeing as dinitrogen tetroxide spontaneously reacts with monomethylhydrazine, maybe it doesn't matter if we shut off the power).

The specific propellants I mentioned there assume our RCS behaves like the US Space Shuttle. Buran's GOX/LOX/Kerosene system might be closer to what a space agency would design today. I'm not sure. Either of them could catch fire.

I think that two is a good amount. I heard a story once how an astronaut and a cosmonaut on the ISS were making repairs to the ISS, but when they tried to go back in, the airlock wouldn't pressurize, so they found a way to kind of turn the sleeping modules into an airlock. I guess they removed a window or something and climbed in through that, sealed it back up and opened the module door, which was obviously sealed.

(Maybe were using Nitrous oxide like the old days (60s, I belive), that won't catch on fire XD. Of course we aren't, but, I don't know maybe XD)
