Mohammed Nasheed is Bashriyya's current president who many view as a military dictator, since for most years he ruled the nation as a junta for long time, he is aging but still considers himself the rightful ruler of Bashriyya and he still has much popular support, Nasheed is a right-wing populist leader and he is somewhat of a Laissez-faire capitalist in his economic views but is very strict on how banking is done because Nasheed opposes usury as a devout Muslim, he is a man who is mainly aligned with SACTO and devoted to fighting Communism world-wide, Nasheed is a devout Muslim who favors application of Sharia law and support religious education done by the finest of Bashriyya's clerics, Nasheed is also for military build-up, he wants to kick Bilad Ash-Sham out of the rest of North Africa and create a Maghreb Confederacy.
Grand Admiral Aladdin Mummer Al-Qazi
the Grand Admiral is an Ibadi minority Muslim, the Grand Admiral is the navy's strong man and leader of the Bashriyyan National-Front that had a split with Nasheed's party mainly over economic issues since the Admiral favors Dirigisme Capitalism, also just like Nasheed he is against usury as a devout Muslim also, the Grand Admiral favors the elections as a period of Bashriyyan democracy, he wants to deport all of Bashriyya's jewish minority to Ganosia, he is for further development of nuclear weapons and the full liberation of Palestine and support for all Palestinian armed factions. Like Nasheed is a militarist and support application Sharia law, he also believes that the country needs to expand it's borders into other North African countries and eventually into nations like Somalia and Ethiopia, and probably also parts of the Sub-Saharan Africa and the Gulf nations of Oman and Yemen. He is a man with no real international alignment and is open to anything, he is said to be good friends of Sauvageot in France and many NATO leaders, he is not very much liked by SACTO.
