I'm developing specs for a couple new mechs. They will use technology derived from the one Esgonia is developing, but will have different roles. They require a lot of advanced tech to function, so they need a long development cycle. The first won't see action until 2026 at the earliest, and it's not even very advanced compared to Esgonia's.

Mechs don't work. They are ineffective and you can just blow the legs off.

All techs are allowed for each nation so long as they can play with the tech level of a RP.

Yes, because every singe infantry soldier an main battle tank can punch through a two foot thick steel column and sever it completely, and then repeat that process 5 more times before the crew can do anything.

Anti-mech people really love to quote that website. Half those points could just as easily apply to any other armored vehicle and the rest could easily be solved with PMT technology.
