You know, that catapults, and siege engines in general, were rarely used in field battles, which you have to do and win, if you attack medieval Europe? Not to mention, that 'massive amounts of cavalry' need 'even more massive amounts of supplies to simply keep the horses going'?
Do you have any idea about how medieval warfare worked (aside from movies, that is)?
