With the end of the 41st Worldvision Song Contest, and Polkopia taking an impressive 7th place with Tatiana Agrafena song, "Yasha Dants", sung entirely in the Polkopian language and finishing the contest with 96 points, the PNB has decided to opt for a National Final yet again to determine Polkopia's entry along with the same format as before with the results being decided between a 50/50 split between international and national juries and domestic televote. The PNB almost opted out for Worlvision alltogether, due to political reasons conflicting with other participating nations, but the viewer turnout for Worldvision from the Polkopian public prompted the PNB to once again, enter the contest.

In order to vote, please send a Telegram to Polkopia with the songs rated in Worldvision format (12 points to your favorite, 10 point to your second favorite, and 8-1 points for the rest.)

Oh wait I think I meant Accradia! But yeah I'm gonna assume all your main nations (that aren't puppets) are the same IC country. We've also had Saintrabina return (at least to WHF) recently and Euski was going to but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet. Glad to see all these old regulars returning. Maybe there's something we could do to summon Chenkorya...

Minor disapproval that lasted for only the first few days after the announcement. Even then it was triggered by something else involving your nation; it wasn't like that was for no reason. If I win, it'd be like the Olympics in 1980 and 1984, except there's no official rivalry of any kind and of course it's not that much of a conflict. :p

If you're looking for inspiration, I'd suggest websites like Behance and Designspiration. I also wish the best of luck and hope you win in the future maybe when I'm not also bidding to host

I see the competition to host this edition is heating up. Also when can we have an updated OP?

Despite BNRT earlier stating that they would abandon the national final format indefinitely after the bad results it bore, due to a flurry of brilliant entries after the Internal Selection deadline, along with demands from Normand WorldVision fans, BNRT has been forced to use a national final to determine who will represent Normandy and Picardy at WorldVision 42. However, instead of reincarnating "Alo Contjalest Esa Poual Chantjal", a new national final called "Esan Volla" ("Your Voice") has been created. The votes will be split 50/50 between international juries and the Normand public. There will be 4 acts, and voting will go: 8pts for your favourite, 6pts, 4pts and finally 2pts. Voting will close 13th September.

UCRTVNEWS

Even though Daniel Richards caused trouble in the scene of people singing on stage to gain some importance in the music industries, Daniel has been confirmed to be the commentator for the UCR, who broadcasts WorldVision Song Contest this year. UCRTV announced that Daniel Richards won't be a one man band and has a partner with him in the commentators office who is as patriotic as Daniel Richards. Two years [2 WHF Editions] ago, Daniel feels no remorse for what he said to the Kalosians which did upset a few of them. After he heard he will be commentating the nation's biggest music show (Bigger than Melodifestivalen which has been running for 45 years) he said he was exhilierated and he also stated that he will break boundaries when informing the audience about the contest.

Three Broadcasting Stations in Gim

Empire of Gim is proud to bid their most prestigious city for the hosting of the 42nd WorldVision Song Contest, where many nations from different multiverses perform their native songs to showcase not just their famous singers but also their cultures. The quote in our host bid, “Tell Us Now”, encourages all participating nations to “tell” all contestants and audiences in this event what song and performance they can show us to make their nation proud. If our nation gains the opportunity to host the most popular singing contest in the multiverse, broadcasts will be made in all of our TV stations(NATV, SATV, WATV), possibly in prime-time schedule.
The title logo of our bid is made by an anonymous artist responsible for drawing portraits in the House of Gim(Home of the Gimian Emperor). A white background is used to make the logo simple yet luxurious. The font used is currently the most trendy and popular San Serif font in our nation.

Ansan is the capital city of Gim. Ansan is known for its beaches, cruise ship travels, ice hockey, and musical concerts. It is extremely easy to travel from one tourist attraction to another, because Gim is a small island that has an extensive highway called, "Coastline Express", which allows one to travel from one end of the island to another in just ten to fifteen minutes. Details on our tourist attractions are shown below.
Before Gim’s tourist attractions are mentioned, one must come to Gim via airplane, arriving at Ansan International Airport, which is shown below:

NATV Concert Hall is a music hall that is used for all music performances broadcasted and supported by NATV. A popular Mystery Music Show program called Masked Singer is broadcasted every Monday night in this hall. Masked Singer is a music contest where celebrities and singers anonymously compete to become the Masked Singer wearing elaborate masks. Each generation of the contestants consists of eight celebrities and/or singers, and there are three rounds. First round consists of four contests, where two contestants perform a duet, and the singer voted by the audience as having a more appealing voice moves onto the next round. The eliminated has to reveal their identity by taking off their mask. Second Round consists of four contests, where each of the people who advanced performs a solo song. Four people who advanced are paired in two who will be competing with each other to advance to the third round. As mentioned previously, the singers advance into the next round via audience voting, and the eliminated are asked to reveal their identity by taking off their mask. Third Round consists of two contests, where each finalist performs a solo song. The winner of the third round becomes the Masked Singer. The Masked Singer does not reveal himself or herself. Starting in the next generation, the winner of the third round competes with the current Masked Singer. Audience is asked to vote, based on what the third round winner sang in the third round and a new solo song sung by the current Masked Singer. To purchase tickets for Masked Singer, visit www.natv.gim/maskedsinger/tickets.

Transportation: Take Line 1 from Airport station to 22nd Avenue, transfer to Line 2 and get off at NATV Concert Hall station.

Lucia Edin to Represent Kalosia in the WorldVision Song Contest 42

Image

MONTERRA - At Festival di Melodi Kalosiana 15 last night, the Kalosian national final for the 21st World Hit Festival, viewers across the nation did not only find out who will be sent to Picard, Normandy & Picardy, as the Kalosian WV42 entry was also revealed. In the interval act, Lucia Edin performed Goodbye to Yesterday, the song that she will perform on the international stage.
The song is a power ballad, with the singer in the position of someone attempting to forget the past and embracing what the future has to show. While the song is currently receiving praise, critics worry that it will fail to deliver the expectations Kalosia usually has at the WorldVision Song Contest, similar to the nation's most recent entry which was a favourite to win but ultimately finished 13th.

You can listen to the live performance here.

Also confirming Saviera as my puppet.

With public scrutiny of the sudden hiatus of 'Ekoes Soekke vor Winaar', the STE has again come under fire as it was today announced that Mia Sahlgaard decided she no longer wished to represent Ekoz at the WorldVision Song Contest later this month.

Sahlgaard stated in a press conference today,

I just feel that it was something I was pressured into doing by other people, and not at all do I mean the STE. If I was going to do something as huge as this, I would want to be 100% into it, and right now, after my studies, I don't feel doing WorldVision is right for me. It has nothing to do with the song, or how I feel about representing my country. I love Ekoz. I just want to do some growing and find myself.

The STE have announced that the search for Ekoz's next representative has started however the STE remain tight-lipped about their final decision. According to bookies and betting agencies, singer/songwriter Max Ønarsson is favourite to replace Mia. Max Ønarsson is responsible for the works of Yohanna van Umsaak, and has written many Ekoes Soekke Vor Winaar songs, of which all have entered the top 20 on the Topplistan Ekoeses.
