Full scale militant action has been taken by the government of Virrgo this day. Due to increasing infighting between the two groups of the nation the Daki have decided to leave the borders of the nation to inland South America. At first this action was seen as a peaceful solution and encouraged by the government. However increasing reports of Daki attacks on Virgin farms inland have forced the government to send small detachments of men into the area for investigation.

Their findings report on farms more inland and nearer Cerrado being the prime attack areas for the Daki. In response Antoine has been reported on stating his willingness to take any action to decrease these attacks. A reported 500 men have entered the area, for now only light skirmish are reported but the government have promised farmers outside of Virrgo's borders protection from any attacks perpetrated by the Daki or any such groups.

The Fifth French Republic has officially been made null and void, with President François Hollande's government leading the creation of the Sixth Republic of New Metropolitan France. The new Constitution had been drafted on the 2nd of August 2015 when Hollande created the informal national name of 'New Metropolitan' France, and after 3 months of debate the government managed to vote unanimously in favor of the adoption of the NMF Constitution. This Sixth Republic focuses on education, military strength, global influence, diplomacy, democracy, and republicanism. It also has a greater emphasis on patriotism, and uses the French personification of Marianne as a national icon.

These changes are reflected in the new motto (which is used in combination with the motto of the previous Republic), as it was shouted out across the streets of Paris, and beyond.

The NMF has decided that in order for our Protectorate to grow in strength without the risk of being threaten by other nations, it must have their Air Force built up. As a result, 24 old Mirage V attack aircraft from the Cold War era have been exported to Virrgo. The Mirage is a battle-hardened aircraft, which served the French and their allies well during the Cold War. As more improved fighters enter French service, many retired aircraft held in reserve are being sold to make room for the newer jets. As such, it is expected that this will not be the last aircraft delivered to Virrgo. More modern planes may even be sent within the month.

Plague
A warning of desperation to all British citizens:
It is a bleak time in the Empire's history. A disease is sweeping through the mainland of the Falklands, where EUK-NEWS are located. Militia units have been persevering to try to prevent the spread of the pathogen. Alas, over 30,000 of the 80,000 population have already died, and rumours claim that a biological weapon was triggered on the outer islands of the Falklands.

The government has denied this claim, however all military units had pulled from the islands to travel to Jamaica a few days before the infection.
Most reports guess that it is a virus, however this has not been proven, and this guess was interpreted due to the fact of most British bioilogical wepons from the past being viral.

The government claims that these so called bio-weapons do not exist, and has denied the claims of death in the Falklands. The foreign affairs minister on quote said:

There is nothing happening in the Falklands, well, nothing that we crea- control. But tourism to the islands and emmigration is now banned.

The military has left, and so it seems has the government.

French Satellite Put in Orbit!

A rocket has been launched by the NMF Space Agency today, in an attempt to put a satellite in orbit around the Southern Hemisphere. It is believed that the satellite's first orbit will pass directly over the Falklands, before establishing a regular flight-path further North. The NMF has deined that the satellite or rocket carried surveillance equipment.
