Canadian "Every Man a Rifle" Reform to pass?
The Canadian "Every Man a Farm reform." It was a smashing success; children are now in schools taking health lessons, learning how to farm and take care of growing their own fruits and vegetables, buying fertilizer, farm equipment, seeds, and other basic farm necessities are now cheap and affordable. However, The Canadian Senate today are discussing whether or not they should pass a new legislation; The "Every Man a Rifle" Legislation. This legislative will fund firearm training classes, mental and physical-based institutions, and make firearms far more available than they are today, which, given how widely available firearms actually are, it's unimaginable seeing how available they could become. But primarily it focuses on mental and physical based institutions and firearm training. This is to teach people the importance of owning a gun, how to properly use it, gun safety, and to teach basic usage in various scenarios. It's also meant to give everyone mental and physical background checks to guarantee that they are mentally stable, physically in-shape, and are in top-tier fit condition to own a firearm to both help simplify background checks, and to give those with mental disabilities and physical disabilities or those who just generally lack mental/physical fitness the help they need. "Firearms and arming citizens in Canada has prevented crimes before; Because people were able to formally, legally, and openly carry firearms, many crimes have been prevented. Militiamen have been able to fight domestic terrorism alongside official forces, the attempt on Stones' life had failed, shootings have been prevented because of armed citizens, the list goes on. But by funding this program, we could not only ensure that we'll have a safe, widely armed populace, but one that can overthrow tyranny at will, be called to arms if they are needed, and one where the mentally unfit cannot get one to commit crimes." This is a statement by an EMR supporter, which can generally sum up what this reform is hoping to achieve.
Hyper Democratic Party cries for total war
With war raging on in Nigeria, and with the persecution of Christian civilians and Islamic extremism on the rise, the Canadian people have been crying for war to stop the growing ICN dominance in Nigeria. "It is the duty of every Canadian to protect their Christian brethren, and non-believers alike. Those in Nigeria are to no exception; It was Canada that defended itself from Totalitarianism before when the Soviets attempted to storm Canada; massacring our citizens, and the people of New England and Michigan when the Union of America came knocking on their doors threatening chaos and disorder and threatened to shed the blood of innocents. And again when the Francoist Iberians threatened the Americas. Now Canada has to be there to defend those oppressed by the tyrannical ICN's regime over Nigeria; those whose lives are being threatened everyday by the Islamist's regime." was stated by a HDP Representative at a rally in Detroit. This got the attention of staticians, who held a poll asking people how they felt about the war in Nigeria; 56% of Canadians answered that they weren't doing enough, 22% stated that they trust that the government is doing enough as it is, 12% stated that they're doing too much, and the remaining felt unsure. Either way; ever since the rally in which the HDP representative at hand made this claim, many HDP party representatives in the federal government have been pushing to send more aid and soldiers into Nigeria to fight the war; Even the Church of Canada had openly stated that "A war with Nigeria, as long as it upholds the Justified War principles, then it would be entirely justified." A further statement has been made by President Stones himself, "The ICN isn't going to stop murdering innocents just because we ask them to, and I highly doubt that the Islamist disease is going to stop at plaguing Nigeria. It is therefore up to strong nations and strong leaders to crush them."

“It is difficult for me to imagine what “personal liberty” is enjoyed by an unemployed hungry person. True freedom can only be where there is no exploitation and oppression of one person by another; where there is not unemployment, and where a person is not living in fear of losing his job, his home and his bread. Only in such a society personal and any other freedom can exist for real and not on paper.” -J. V. STALIN

CLASSIFIED: OPERATION RED OCEAN
The various terrorist attacks which had recently occurred in South America had caught the attention of Andean intelligence officers. During the last days of the Ramirez administration, an investigation began to identify the cause of the attacks, especially of the first one in Cape Thetis. Eventually, the evidence began stacking up overwhelmingly stating that the terrorists were rouge Orostani soldiers.
By the time that Sanarov won the elections, sufficient intelligence was gathered to identify most if not all of the conspirators. Although the conspirators seemingly had good intentions for the FSR, it has been becoming fairly obvious by now that such actions did nothing but hurt the FSR in the international stage. In addition, by acting without official authorization the conspirators were performing armed mutiny. Following President Sanarov being briefed on the situation, she decided that the only viable option was to crack down on the conspirators.
At midnight, Andean special forces were dispatched to detain the conspirators. Outgunned and surprised, most of the conspirators were quickly forced to surrender. The most difficult part of the operation involved the floating base of operation within Magellan waters. The conspirators there were heavily armed, and interrogation of a captured conspirator led to the discovery that the boat was capable of self-destructing. Given that destroying the boat wasn't an option due to the need of keeping the operation secret, the Andean task force was forced to take more unconventional methods.
A while later, the boat was approached by an Andean submarine. The submarine soon deployed its special forces, which tried to stealthily board the boat at night and disable the crew. Upon entrance, the enemies would be met with a barrage of stun grenades, taser guns, and tear gas. The special forces also had access to conventional weaponry, but such would ideally not be used. If control of the boat was successfully established, the crew would be detained and the boat would be brought back to an Andean port, where it'd be subject to further investigation.
Following the incident, the conspirators were to be interrogated and then dishonorably discharged from the military. In the future, Andean intelligence services would keep an eye out for any suspicious activity happening within the Orostani military, to prevent a similar situation from occurring again and to make sure the FSR military would remain under civilian control.
As a result of the conspirators' actions, in the municipality of Irecê nuclear fuel had been leaked towards a local water reservoir. Soon after the Italian attack, immediate actions were taken to avoid further collateral damage, and testing would soon begin to see how severe the situation was. A manhunt was also set to find the remaining AISE agent who escaped from the scene.
