ITS Augustus supercarrier begins aviation trials with naval Eurofighter after smooth sea trials

Today the Triangle announced that ITS Augustus, the nations Polena-Class supercarrier which has been named after Caesar Augustus, who founded the Roman Principate and is considered the first Roman emperor, has officially completed its sea trials in the Ligurian sea around the same time as its sister ship, SMS Empress Nicole. However, unlike the SMS Empress Nicole, ITS Augustus will not be joining any Italian fleets for several more months as the specialised naval Eurofighter that has been developed for the ship need to undertake extensive flight trials on the ship to ensure their safety, efficiency and effectiveness in the field of war a d under heavy stress and 24/7 service.

Due to the jets being newly developed they have only been in the hands of their pilots for a small amount of time so need more time to become masters of their aircraft before the ship can enter service with its full compliment of 50 Naval Eurofighter Typhoons, 20 Leonardo Avvoltoio 5th Generation Stealth Bombers, 10 nEUROn UCAV's, 2 E-2 Hawkeye's and several types of helicopter.

A spokesperson from the Triangle has said that: "Once ITS Augustus completes its flight trials and is officially implemented into the Marina Militare the ship, along with its sister ship SMS Empress Nicole, will form a corner stone of European naval power for the coming decades."

Peace keeping Endures!!!

Recently a new military branch has been founded in the homeland which is known as ATTFN or Anti-Terrorist Task Force of Neistovoye. This new task force has been trained and well funded having troops operating only in central Africa at the moment and already catching a well known Terrorist commander "Kawani Aldrai" known for kidnapping children and forcing them to fight for him well being drugged.

GFL Automobiles Group forms after Silvio Berlusconi purchases Ferrari and Lamborghini, brands will remain separate however

Today it was announced that Silvio Berlusconi has purchased both Ferrari and Lamborghini from Fiat-Chrysler Group and the Rocca family and the companies have both been put under a parent organisation named GFL Automobiles (Gruppo Ferrari Lamborghini). GFL says that the brands will remain separate organisations and will remain in their current separate HQ's and production plants in Maranello and Sant'Agata Bolognese to avoid killing the uniqueness between the two brands.

The deal, which has cost Silvio Berlusconi's business empire tens-of-billions, was agreed last night when representatives from all three parties involved met for a 8 hour discussion and dinner to finalise the deal which sees Silvio Berlusconi venture into the lucrative Italian car industry with two major Italian brands now under his belt his net worth is set to skyrocket however he will still remain the 5th richest Italian as the boost will still leave him far behind Massimiliana Landini Aleotti, the owner of pharmaceutical giant Menarini.

CSN reports on Ottomans and GU released

The CSN has been recently investigating the series of events which caused the Invasion of the Ottoman Empire (2018) and the suspected war crimes allegedly carried out by the GU military during the war in Calindelo (2017). The release of the investigation into the GU military was delayed until now due to the length of time required to interview those involved on both sides.

The [GU] military most likely had no official knowledge of a massive civilian presence in the city, [due to it being believed the area was held by enemy combatants] thus there will be no tribunals and such. The [GU] government must pay reparations to the city in question and the civilians effected as an apology and should also try not to repeat this mistake from happening by working on better methods to detect civilians within cities before opening total fire. In addition, the CSN report has highlighted concerns regarding combatants taking up positions in civilian-populated areas such as urban centers during conflicts and then taking part in combat without facilitating the safe evacuation of civilians out of danger.

On the topic of the situation in the Middle East, the CSN has verified the claim by the Persian Government that a non-governmental military group operating within their territory utilized weaponry produced only within state-owned arms manufacturing facilities within the Anatolian peninsula. Investigators also traced funds to extremist militia near the border regions of the Empire. The Ottoman authorities have asserted that a rouge General acted independently in arranging these efforts.

Large demonstration outside of parliament as month ends

Approximately two hundred people gathered outside of the Sixth Republic's parliament today to show support for a growing sense of skepticism in the general public towards global security.

Is the world doomed to perpetually live in times of war? We haven't had any true era of peace since the Cold War! The day the Eastern Bloc fell apart was the day militarism and extremism gained a foothold that seems impossible to break. Yugoslavia starting from the 90s and Iberia in the 2000s were just the beginning! Libya, Algeria, Indochina, the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, Akksum, Greece, Liberia, New York, China, Calindelo, and Nigeria! Our Republic stands as the guardian of freedom and democracy not only in Europe, but around the world, and the other Super Powers allow us to foot the bill! It seems we face two evils; military-industrial complex or the resurgence of totalitarianism. Thank goodness the Ottomans were ejected from the DEU's Defense Community, or else we'd have been dragged into the latest in the series of perpetual war! And I want to shake Dutoit's hand and personally thank him that we let the CSN handle Nigeria, only sending a small contribution of forces compared to the other great powers. The opposition and coalition both support the Emergency Procurement Bill, which is vital to ensuring the continued defense of the Confederation, however I say that we now focus on reforging a strong Europe, ever closer Entente, a strong Atlantic relationship, and increased value of our Asia-Pacific partners at peace. The Frontier Deployment

Later in evening, the Ministry of Defence issued a joint statement with the Military High Command, and the Naval High Command. The four divisions placed at the Turco-Fregantese border will stay in position. In fact, it was reported that additional artillery support will be sent in the next 12 hours.

The navy will also hold its positions outside the Dardanelles and the Aegean Islands, at a safe distance from any possible hostile attack. It was also reported that the Fregantese dockyards were ordered to construct three Battleships, in order to improve the Empire’s naval capabilities.

The Empire is still not at war, however, the rising tensions naturally forced the Empire to take defensive measures against a rouge state.

Military Legislation passed by the imperial senate as of today at 1 PM

Under no circumstances should any soldier of the state or its people retreat or refuse orders unless allowed to by general rank or higher.

Any person acting as part the military who deserts or fails to follow commands and is without support of general rank or higher shall depending on how much it hinders any operation either receive 20 lashes for interference of military operation or be publicly executed for treason.

Under no conditions shall a soldier allow himself to be taken alive unless given reason to intentionally by general rank or higher.

Under any situation without support of general all soldiers in a situation of potential capture by hostile military or terrorist forces shall kill himself or die fighting for the state or its people.

Any soldier captured alive by hostile military or terrorist forces and brought back to the mainland shall be publicly executed for Treachery unless given another sentience by general rank or higher.

Any man of military of state or peoples shall be arrested if intentionally carried out an action that caused problem for state of imperial military and or police operatives.

No hostile or military forces are to given mercy/taken alive unless ordered to do so by lieutenant rank or higher.

Castillo begins push to alter the constitution

President Castillo during Parliament today made it a high priority of the Socialist Government to begin a push to change and alter the Puertollanoan Constitution. Without having much changed to it since the 19th Century, the President and his party say it is the most appropriate time to completely re-write the constitution, for a more 'modern and progressive Puertollano'. The changes wanted for the new constitution would be an affirmation of national sovereignty, complete ban on corporate donations, enshrining of healthcare, housing and electricity has the right's of all citizens, scrapping term limits and strongly introducing native land titles. Being from a native background himself, Nicolo Castillo said the proper, legal protection of native lands means a lot to him and his people. This has been received positively by the socialist base in Puertollano, however not so much by the Conservative base. The Conservative Opposition has put pressure on the government over this, claiming; "Castillo wants to ban term limits to establish himself a communist dictatorship". They have also protested over the outlawing of corporate donations, as the current Conservative Coalition relies on corporate donations for 89% of its campaigning incoming. The President has since responded, calling them; "corporate tools" and "corrupt oligarchs".

August 1st, 2018 was declared as a special
non-working holiday in Gdynia & Gdansk by
the president, Natalia Kraszanka, to celebrate the rebuilding of the Polish Navy.

The 4 naval vessels that survived the recent years received a facelift as they paraded the two cities fully repaired with a new, more modern appearance. Meanwhile, the 15 new submarines that were given by the FSR joined the parade, followed by the newly purchased Destroyers, Frigates, Corvettes, Cruisers, and other minor vessels.

The office of foreign affairs and the office of defense are currently on talks with foreign nations, primarily the South American nations, to arrange naval drills to test its new naval ships.

Early testing of Heavy main battle tank prototype

A new prototype main battle tank recently finished testing in Italy with great results,

The new prototype now being called the V-1 Pax sports a 152 mm 2A82-1M smoothbore cannon.
The tank’s turret will also carry a 30 mm sub-caliber ranging gun to deal with various targets,
including low-flying aerial targets, such as attack planes and helicopters.

A 12.5 mm turret-mounted heavy machine gun is capable of taking out incoming projectiles, such as anti-tank missiles. It’s capable of neutralizing shells approaching at speeds of up to 3,000 meters per second.
The tank’s crew is securely enclosed in a multi-layer armored capsule separated from the ammunition container. The vehicle is fully computerized and only needs two servicemen to operate it.

The tank’s targeting is done with an active-phased array antenna and a large variety of other sensors.
The platform allegedly has a fully mechanized electric transmission, powered by a 1,200 HP diesel engine.
For greater efficiency, maintenance and repair schedules have been extended with Armor 14% thicker then the Leopard 2.

The Government has already commissioned for 400 of these tanks to be produced, 200 for the Neistovoyan military and 200 for the Italian military as promised in the contract made with Italy for them to agree to let us use their lands for battle tests and general tests.

Commemoration of the Triple Entente, commences in Moscow!
The Triple Entente, an alliance that in its previous conception bounded the military might of the French, British, and Russian Empires together for the shared security of their interest has seen a rebirth and evolution to a closer partnership and union between the Britain, France, and the Soviet Union. To commemorate the alliance, its principles, its past, and its future a celebration has been prepared within the capital of Moscow:

The celebration is marked by a march of reservists within the Red Square, they are than followed by lines of men wearing uniforms reminiscent to that of those who fought for the Tsar in WW1. Lines of these men marches in uniforms styled off of the three armies from this period. First would march the Soviets wearing the greenish-khaki uniform of this period, followed by the British in their Khaki uniform, and lastly the French with men dressed in both the Napoleonic blue top and red trousers and than the Horizon blue and Adrien helmet of their later uniforms.

Following them would be reconstructed versions of the MK V tank,

After some time had passed three new columns of men would march forth. Similar in meaning, these men wore uniforms reminiscent to those who had fought in WW2 for the allies, veterans of the Soviet Union taking part and joining the march, placed in the middle with space made between Russian column to allow the people to view those who had fought for nation against Nazi aggression.

Along each column of men would be tanks and other armored vehicles of the period, with a Katyusha and T-34 along the Soviet Column, Char B1s along the French, and Cruiser MK VIII along the British.

Lastly, columns of men would march fourth each carrying the flag of the nation assigned to them, split broadly into three to show each nation. Between them would be a T-14 Armata, AMX Leclerc, and Challenger 2.

After the march of the reservist, three men from each column and generation would march to the Kremlin, holding the flag of each country throughout the history of the alliance. 4.4 magnitude earthquake detected in French Algeria

A small earthquake has been detected in Algeria. Located near the historic nuclear testing site from the 1960s, there are rumors that the Sixth Republic military has tested a new weapon of some kind underground. However, while seismologists have said that they are "almost certain" that the quake was man-made, military analysts have expressed doubts that it could be due to the estimated yield of a weapon being 5 kilotons - the French Confederation does not possess any warhead of that size, and it would go against the traditional defense doctrine of the nation. As such, the leading theory is that it was a failed test of something much larger. Alfa Romeo Avio announces MANADS aerial defence system trials, Ministry of Defence shows interest

Today Alfa Romeo Avio, recently renamed just 'Avio', announced MANADS- Multiple Array Naval Aerial Defence System. Avio says that MANADS will see the instalment of 10-80 small naval lasers on a ship (depending on its size) and a computer software installed on the ship will allow all lasers to be used in sync to target enemy missiles or projectiles, however they are not powerful enough to destroy aircraft as it would be far too expensive to install so many aircraft-killing lasers on a single ship.

Whilst the idea of MANADS may not seem ground breaking Avio's software will be integrated within the PAAMS system (Used by Italy, France and Britain) being able to aid in guiding fire from the PAAMS system whilst damaging the enemy projectile at the same time. The sheer number of lasers combined with the PAAMS system and Aster 30 missiles on select Italian navy vessels will give all vessels a two-tier aerial defence system and a select vessels a three-tier aerial defence system.

Avio says that "The software combination of PAAMS, MANADS and their other air defence systems will give the Italian, French and British navies the best naval air defence system in the world." A bold claim from this experienced company, who says the MANADS system will be avalible for pre-order to France and Britain should they want it to be integrated into PAAMS and that the system will also be avalible for export to other select countries in Europe and that inquiries from outside Europe will also be considered for approval from the Italian government. The system itself is still currently in the trial period after years of development in secret and wont still be in service for many months.

Today the Supreme Court of Cassation announced that the governments censoring of teleSUR for national security reasons was unconstitutional, in this its final address to the court in which its verdict is announced:

Today the Ministry of the Interior announced that reforms to the nations anti-drug laws have been passed which give police greater powers to question and search individuals deemed suspicious without the need for significant justification in the search, this controversial ability for the police to search anyone they see as suspicious has raised concerns over the often subconscious choice for ethnic minorities, particularly blacks, to be searched as they are often perceived as more likely to be possessing and dealing illegal drugs such as cannabis.

The Ministry of the Interior has assured those concerned that police officers will only search those who seem suspicious based on their mannerisms such as constantly looking around and walking away from police officers or if they smell of drugs such as cannabis and have been cautioned not to search people based on their race. Perhaps the biggest legal change has been the removal of the 'tier system' which put certain drugs into one of three categories, I, II or III. Category I is for drugs such as tranquillisers, category II includes drugs such as cannabis and amphetamines whilst category III includes to most dangerous and addicting drugs such as heroin, cocaine and LSD.

The legal punishment on an individual would have previously been decided by which class they possessed, I would have the lowest sentence whilst III would have the highest. Now that this has been removed all drugs will be treated with the severity of what was previously class III, indiscriminate of whether the person was using cannabis or heroin. This means that people who are caught possessing cannabis could be faced with a €2,000 fine and 12-24 months in prison whilst being caught using cannabis could result in a €5,000 fine and 3-6 years in prison depending on how much cannabis the person has on them.

FSR, Puertollano to design battle tank

The Federation of Socialist Republics and the Bolivarian Republic of Puertollano have come to an international agreement to co-produce and design the creation of a new, independent, main battle tank for the continent. High General Hugo Chavez, who personally organised the deal on behalf of the Puertollanoan government, claims it will make the continent; "liberated from overseas military hegemony." This is due to the fact that Puertollano does not have its own main battle tank for use, but has rather been using North American and European armaments. The name for the tank has already been decided, and is to be called: 'MBT-Cougar'. Blue prints of the tank have already been designed and co-operatives across the FSR and industry in Puertollano have begun their construction of numerous parts.

Air pollution next on Confederation agenda

Castillo calls Ottoman War 'illegal'

What is occurring against the Ottoman Empire is both morally reprehensible and utterly abhorrent to international law and the peace process that Puertollano has established. Popular Conspiracy Theory Arises

A conspiracy theory that surfaced online in the past month has recently become very popular, especially among the youth of the nation, who commonly use it as a joke. The theory connects the namesake of the Republic, Ferdinand Magellan, to various politicians in both the Republic and Spanish Argentina, claiming there's a wider conspiracy between them that they have yet to stumble upon.

Some have expanded on the theory, connecting those politicians and their ancestors to the original colonizers, as well as the group known as "the Illuminati". None of those accused have made any official statements about the conspiracy, which has only caused its popularity to surge even more. There have been many variations on it. Some claim those politicians are part of a secret underground reptilian race, seeking to take over the world. Others say they are actually demons in disguise, punishing atheists for their beliefs. Some have even claimed that, in one of the statues of San Martin in Santiago, there lays the queen's egg of an alien race, hidden by Magellan's descendants themselves, and that the aliens are here to reclaim it.

Whatever the new story is, the original source has yet to come forward, and they recently took down the blog that they had originally posted the conspiracy on. Many have said that "they got to them", with disagreements over who exactly "they" are. Has our nation been corrupted by secret alien races? Or is this all just a wide-reaching joke? Let's hope we find out soon. The fate of our nation may rest on it.

Official Formation of the ANN!

As of recently, the nations of the North American Federation, Japan (Orbanis), France, and the USSR have officially formed a military pact between them. The official name of this alliance is the Alliance of Northern Nations (ANN.) The pact will consist purely of military cooperation, including a defensive pact, non-aggression pact, and guaranteed military cooperation between the four nations.
