Lenin was a little hesitant to approve it but he did and congress as well, Aralin Thrift, a man in the shadows of Joseph Lenin, polish born, does have a stronger look on things compared to Lenin but he adds the foundation and right leaning pull in order to balance Lenin's centrist ideas.

A large passenger aircraft has apparently been hijacked en route to Zackaroth and is currently being tailed by the Zackarothian Air Force. It is currently over the uninhabited desert area of Zackaroth but seems to be quickly trailing towards the captail city of Toss. Details are sparse right now but unofficial reports from government officials and a video posted on Seetube claims the hijacker is an Orostani pilot who has locked out his co pilot from the cockpit. The dramatic video we are about to play a man can be heard screaming from the cockpit. Please be warned, the language is unedited and may be disturbing to some viewers.

The video begins, showing someone sitting in the front row of the plane. A man is banging on a locked cockpit door, yelling to be let in. In response a man can be heard yelling back. " They killed my family! They killed my family! Those son of bitches are gonna pay! My daughter and wife are dead! Dead because of the disease! Fuck those assholes! I'm gonna kill them!" The video then cuts out.

The plane is not only holding Zackarothian citizens but a flight manifest has shown citizens of Helensted, France, Japan, Germany, the NAF and UDC, Italy, Puertollano and Stristia. There are are around 250-to 300 passengers on aboard. Many of them have taken to social media pleading for help, taking videos or trying to get into contact with loved ones. No word yet on an official response what Zackaroth plans to do but a situation like this normally calls for a shoot down. However, with the high volume of international citizens aboard the plane may be holding Zackaroth back. There are rumors about a crisis negation team attempting to get in contact with the hijacker but these are unconfirmed. What is confirmed the High leader is speaking to the leaders of the countries who have citizens aboard the plane and discussing options on what to do.

After a few days of impeachment trials, the senate successfully impeached President Karl Krall, Vice President Franz Krall, Speaker of The House Edward Koller, Senate President Kyla Mae Mayr, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Oliver Schulz, Secretary of Commerce Andrei Mark Hoffman, and Secretary of Education Sofia Moser. For treason.

A recent law in Prussia has established all Austrian citizens as Prussian Citizens, with free citizenship. Therefore, all Austrian leaders of Calindelo were impeached. Including the President and Vice President.

The Italian Navy announced the introduction of two Lazio class submarines into service. The two new submarines are according to the Italian Navy, the most advanced submarines made by Italia yet. That said, it's been announced that three more Lazio class submarines are expected to come into service soon. According to various official sources, a single Lazio class submarine costs about $2.5 billion. According to the Navy, the submarines were made with rather low costs, as the ship were built with new modular construction techniques. In order to equip the newly created army, the government opened a new state-owned company; The Fregantese Arms Manufacturing. The company is expected to open up at least eleven factories in the upcoming two months. The total capital of the company, the regular government investment and any possibility of privatisation are unknown.

Despite this development, owning firearms is still illegal in the country and a charged person can get a prison punishment for at least ten years. J- Okay, what about this whole Remilitarisation act?

F- I am personally against it. But the Senatorial vote and the national polls suggest that at least 60% of the population is in favour of Remilitarisation. People elected us, and we are the servants of their will. What they want is in the process of implementation.

F- Again, I need to state that the internal affairs of another nation is none of our business. Charles Dupont, the Sixth Republic's permanent ambassador to the DEU, has today called for a meeting of the DEU Assembly, with the aim of expelling Herpostan from the DEU for "fundamental breaches of both the organization's values, and of basic human rights." French Army withdraws from Andorra

Satisfied that the security of Andorra from terror attacks has been improved as a result of training given by French Army troops, the Armed Forces of the Sixth Republic have begun to withdraw from Andorra. In a statement, the President of France and Co-Prince of Andorra Fabien Leonard said that "We will continue to stand alongside Andorra as a partner in terms of trade and security, always." The withdrawal is expected to be completed within a matter of hours.

Hijacked Zackarothian plane lands. 24 hour stand off ends peacefully! Orostani pilot taken into custody!

The hijacked passenger airline was allowed to land at Toss International airport, under threat of a full shootdown should the pilot deviate from course. The plane did indeed land and for an entire day, negotiators attempted to get the pilot of Orostani descent to release the elderly and children. After several concessions, most of the passengers where released. The crew however was kept on board. In a tense moment, it seemed the hijacker was attempting to restart the plane to take off but a special forces team stormed the aircraft and where to able to disable and capture the crazed pilot. Minor injuries where reported from the crew, mostly smoke inhalation from the smoke bombs while the status of the hijacker is unknown. Attempts to contact the Justice Department on whether or not the hijacker would be tried under Zackarothian law or deported back to Orostan where met with silence. Hijacking airliners is a serious offense in Zackaroth and attempts to use planes as a weapon of mass destruction can include the Death Penalty.

The day after President Vince Maximillian Prochazka was admitted to the presidency, he gave his first ever state of the union, stating that he will continue Karl Krall's industralization project and to slightly remilitarize the Union of Calin Republics.

Today the governments of Germany and Italy agreed that the 70-80s era bomber/fighter-bomber was indeed increasingly becoming outdated. As multiple conflicts around the globe had pushed the advancement of aircraft to greater limits. And thus leaving the Tornado as a thing of the past.

With this in mind Germany approached the other countries involved in the Panavia Tornado manufacturing buisness. Italy and the Empire of the United Kingdom, Italy almost agreed instantly and even though the UK has not responded more than 50% of the manufacturers agreed.

The Current project is expected to be done in mid June, it is also believed that Daasualt Valykries will also play a role. As their blueprints could help incorporate different things into areas that the current Tornado suffers in.

Today after Calindelo moved troops to the border, the government of Germany has reached an agreement of a non-aggression pact to be put in place. As neither side was interested in war. And the GU didn't want to go through the DMZ processes.

Igor Ivanov dressed in old Soviet military attire.

Igor Ivanov has recently been sworn into the highest position within the Soviet government. Beating the previous president Anastasia in a close knit race and winning 51% of the popular vote, he like his successor has platformed on a policy of increased modernization. However much to the contention of those against him he wishes to expand both the funding and role of the Soviet military greatly. In his speech in Moscow today he was quoted as saying:

"In the era of our great reformer Peter the Great we faced an invasion at the hands of the Swedish Empire, and through the sweat and blood of our people we pushed them out and established the birthing stone of a new greater empire. Yet, rather the Turks, French, Polish, or Germans those around our union seek to either diminish our role or strengthen themselves at our expense. I seek no qualms with our neighbors and neither am I a man of war, but I will not lay passively as our previous president at the state of the world and look to have us hide behind the cold Soviet north. It is my firm belief that in order for this union to survive we must be assertive and aggressive. We must not tolerate anyone or any force that would to destabilize the peace within the two continents we inhabit and we must be willing to crush such forces before they grow stronger than our ability to do such."

Soviet Military Restructuring
In plans with his restructuring of the Soviet Military, Igor has pledged to increase the Soviet military budget over time to 5%-10% more within the coming two years. This is to pay for cost of recruitment, equipment, and other necessities. Further, in the near future the Soviet Agency of Logistics(COL), this will be a department within the Ministry of Defense tasked with handling the military's resources, budget, transportation, etc.

Along with this proclamation, Igor has pledged to increase both the size and role of the military with a set goal of recruiting a total of 415,000 by the end of the year. This will increase the total military force from 2,384,000 to 2,799,000 by the end of 2017. This increase is in part due to the increased tensions within the Europe as well as the the Soviet defense plan. While details of the plan are kept a secret with little information being shared several generals and those within the Ministry of Defense have gone on record as stating that the plan will call for permanent and alternating army bases within the three major zones of the union: Soviet West, Soviet Far East, and Soviet Central Asia. This will call for troops along the border of Ukraine and Belarus, Persia and Afghanistan, and lastly China and Mongolia with a naval presence along the Sea of Japan. Further information by the ministers and Igor is stating that increased coordination between the Soviet Union and its allies specifically Oyashima, Germany, and Entente is imperative to this defense plan with Igor planning the first great steps in pushing the union from its shells since the Neo-Russian Empire.

Economic Compartmentlization
To increase the productivity of the Soviet Union and to develop the nation's manufacturing and industrialized sectors a new series of administrative regions are being drawn upon. 5-12 planned Rayony's(from the Russian word for districts) are being drawn to be implemented. Much in the same vein as Anastasia's previous initiative the campartmentlization of special economic zones will see Soviet contracted businesses allocated to areas that best suit their needs and certain states specialized in areas of trade. Specialized zones termed "Western-Friendly Areas" will see areas such Kaliningrad, Moscow, Sochi, and Leningrad restructured to entice tourism and investment from the west namely countries such as France and North American Federation.

The government has also found it priority to gain national investment into such projects as well. The National Soviet has passed two laws to help address this:

1. The first law will address lobbying within the Soviet Union and will require any and all lobbying within the government both on the state and national level to register their name and information. This is reduce the level anonymity and create and transparent system, that will hopefully limit the economic oligarchs that have historically plagued the nation.

2. The second law is popularly called the "People's Bill" is to address labor. This will ensure companies hire from the local populace by issuing quotas on companies operating within the nation to hire a set number of individuals from within the local and immediate populace with incentives of tax-cuts to cooperating companies.

The second law has quickly become the focus of the Ivanov administration which looks to develop the Central Asian SSR's for a chiefly oil-producing market. In the coming months to years increased focus will be placed on expanding industrial out to these SSR's as well as eastward to the Soviet Southeast and Central Asia.

Just as the evidence from Herpostan said, there are indeed Communist plotters in Calindelo. Today, at Prague, the capital city of Calindelo, 15000 - 20000 people marched around the city to support and establish a Communist party for Calindelo. However, things were starting to get out of hand after a communist supporter threw a 4.2 KG rock from on top a 2 story house and hit a police officer, the police officer sustained major neck and head injuries. This initiated a massive riot.

The riot lasted for 3 hours, 58 police officers have sustained minor injuries, 17 sustained major injuries, and 1 police officer died from exhaustion in the field. While 100 - 150 supporters sustained some kind of injury from the riot, surprisingly, no communist supporters has been killed.

Thousands of People took to the streets in Budapest to express their newly invigorated sentiment against the Democritus European Union. Their Absolute Negative Views on the DEU was reinvigorated when the news of the Decision to expel Herpostan from the DEU Reached Herpostan. Thousands went on to support the Government in a showing of Nationalistic Pride.
