The election results came, despite the fact that there is still no peace treaty. The new party -The Academic Party- won the elections and established the new government. The leader of the party -Maxvellein Relhophen Fregantes- became the new head of the state.

The government disbanded the parliament after the elections and implemented a new legislative institution: The Senate. Every party except "The National Supremacy Party" was given the right to be represented in the Senate. The Senate then declared Maxvellein Relhophen Fregantes as "The Great Consul" for a lifetime.

KU-Puertollano relations & respone to Prussia

The new President of Puertollano, Nicolo Castillo, met with KU Prime Minister Löfven in the capital of Bogota. Castillo has said that he hopes this relation prospers as two unlikely cultures and nations meet in ideological unity. He has said also that the new leadership of the Kalmar Union is the benchmark for all countries across the globe, and has spoken kindly of Löfvens political views as they correspond with Castillos too. In his speech, moments after the PM gave his, he noted on the resilience of the KU, especially after their confrontation with the radical groups not long ago that committed beheadings and led a barbaric attack on morality. Unfortunately sometime after the meeting, the inherited Kaiser of Prussia ranted about the diplomatic summit. To defend against the slanderous accusations towards both Puertollano and the Kalmar Union, Castillo was swift to reply.

King Wilhelm, life-long ruler and dictator of Prussia, has added his own commentary on the happenings in Puertollano and our beneficial talks with Löfven and his administration. First of all, we do not have the nuclear weapon any longer, so that argument is invalid. We do not support fascism, at all, so that too is invalid. Is it true, Wilhelm, and I quote: 'some fascist is a country is rather healthy', that you believe this? New equality plan springs into action!

To begin work in Puertollano, the Castillo administration has announced an Equality Plan, that will be the spearhead of all policy making in the nation. Within the documents, it labels goals that the government will attempt to achieve throughout its time in office. Recently in the parliament, a minimum wage was established at $18 per hour, ending years of unfair pay. Another movement, said to pass soon, is to legalise Gay marriage, just one of many issues on the agenda. The Empire is an avid weapons dealer, as is known across Europe and the world. Many top politicians have spoken out against the huge $0.3billion deal with Calindelo by Prussia.

Although the Empire has constructed deals of this size before, they have been for much equipment and many vehicles. The Prussian government has sold three tanks - yes three - for the aforementioned amount.
The British government has demanded a response from the Prussian government, as this is seen as disgusting when tanks should not cost more than £50,000,000 - for comparison, Britain's most advanced tank costs only around £14million before any additional features.

France 'willing to withdraw from Greece' without peace treaty

The French Republic has indicated that it may be willing to withdraw all occupying forces from the Peloponnese Peninsula without a peace treaty between Greece and Turkey having been finalized. President Leonard has stated that once the new government confirms that the safety of DEU Pipeline workers is reaffirmed following the official end of hostilities between France and the Fregantes Empire, and they be allowed to resume construction, then all French Army troops will be pulled out of the country. Damaged Overseer - 1

The Recon satellite, Overseer - 1, was hit by space debris, Knocking off 3 of the 4 solar panels. 1 solar panel is not enough to power the sattelite and will shut off before the year end. And will crash down to earth Mid June.

Calindelo has started constructing a larger, better Recon sattelite. The government is also asking Prussia for a collaboration on making the new satellite.

The Great Consul Maxvellein Relhophen Fregantes accepted the Calin invitation of a state dinner in Prague. The Great Consul left the state affairs in the hands of the President and the Speaker of the Senate.
At the airport, before his flight, he had these remarks:

I am quite happy to receive this invitation and it is a great honour to accept it. It is our ultimate desire to have friendly and thurstworthy relations with every European government. I will thank the Calin president Mr.Ludwig Krall myself when I will meet him in Prague.

While the Great Consul was busy with the Calin invitation, the Senate made an official statement of appreciation regarding the withdrawal of the French troops from the Peloponnesian Peninsula. The Speaker of the Senate Acallia Pandaros gave a speech about the statement:

The government is trying to increase the spending on Healthcare, using it to develop cheaper and effective medicine, and affordable hospital equipment for Calindelo and nations across the world.

The president also stated that it will deliver FREE medicine and Doctors to war torn areas, like Syria and Liberia.

Besides on healthcare, the president also gave remarks about Transportation and Architecture. He stated that the government will create better railroads that go through the county. And donate 740 buses to smaller cities.

Changes on spending for education will not be moved until the near future because of constraints on funds. But will explain what he will do.

With a new FTA with Prussia, our nation continues its modest progress. After the official announcement of the FTA by the Kaiser Wilhelm himself; the streets of Athens was filled with jovial crowds as people celebrated the event. The Great Consul Fregantes ,as always, had something to say about this.

This FTA shall be remembered as one of the best achievements of our new nation. Kaiser Wilhelm saw that we are not the old Greece with ultra nationalistic ideals...or delusions should I say? What was their name again? Ah yes, "Neo-Byzantine". But they are gone now and we aren't even "Greece" anymore. Anyways, this is a joyous moment for us!
