Cabinet Transport Secretary Madoka Shiranui brutally murdered. Connection with Railway Scandal suspected

By Mayuri Hyakuya, Staff Correspondent

Image

Cabinet Transport Secretary Madoka Shiranui, who was dealing with the joint rail project with the FSR before it was shut down over certain allegations, was found dead at her apartment this morning. It’s one of the latest in the string of murders and crimes believed to be conducted by an ultranationalist figure. Madoka Shiranui was a member of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, and was a member of the Cabinet on the suggestion of Junichiro Izumi, former Minister of Transport. Despite her good track record in the government, as well as her being praised by His Majesty the Mikado, she was known to be outspokenly pro-FSR with socialistic leanings.

The police investigation on the murder has brought on post-humorous corruption allegations on her, as a note was left by the murderer calling Madoka Shiranui “a traitor who sold out our country out to the commies of the FSR.” According to a following press-statement by the National Corruption Prevention Bureau, the NCPB will investigate in the matter. However, among government and public circles, its now widely believed that former CTS Madoka Shiranui did accept gifts and money from FSR officials to persuade the mostly Pro-European government to accept the FSR project.

Despite her corruption allegations, His Majesty the Mikado has asked the people to maintain a state of mourning for a day “to honor what good she has done for the sake of our country and its people”. The Mikado has refused to publicly comment on Madoka Shiranui’s corruption allegations

Why can't anyone see? Why is everyone so blind? This is no random murder. This is just one among many political assassinations done by our government on politicians on the left side of the spectrum.

That theory is acceptable. But its still a theory

First the Communist Party general secretary, then an famous socialist blogger, now her. And our country and its symbol(the Mikado) still stays silent despite no thorough investigation into these unlawful murders. I don't like communists, but I am still a lawabiding citizen. So, this murderer must be brought to our courts and be punished to the full extent of the law

Rome-Naples Urban Corridor

4th June 2022

Government announces private-public partnership to develop an urban corridor between Rome and Naples

An ambitious urban corridor that will provide homes for 2,075,200 people, mainly families and the elderly, has been given permission for development by the government day. The operation will be run by the Roma-Napoli Urban Corridor Corporation (RNUCC), a public-private partnership that will see hundreds of different property from across Italy take a stake in the urban corridor while the government will pay to upgrade the E45 motorway, the major route between Rome and Naples, to give the route 4 lanes in each direction, up from 3 lanes either way and 2 in some areas along the urban corridor. The E45 is being used as the northern boundary line of the urban corridor development while the coastline is the southern boundary, while national parks and nature reserves within that area are being excluded from the development zone.

RNUCC says that the government will be funding 35% of the cost of infrastructure such as streets, trunk roads, hospitals, police stations, suburban commuter rail, fire stations, schools and sewerage while the property developers and other companies involved will fund the remaining 65% of these costs. This means that the government itself will be making a minimal investment as the Ministry of the Interior and Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the main government ministries involved in the development, say that they want the private sector to take the leading role in the development while the government takes on a more administrative role, issuing Compulsory Purchase Orders and settling compensation with land owners.

RNUCC says that existing towns and small cities between Rome and Naples will be preserved and will receive investment in improved services and will serve as commercial centres for the suburban developments being built across the landscape. At a density of only 400 people per km2 the developments will be based off the low density homes seen on the edges of French cities such as Rennes, Angers, Tours and Bourges in order to provide high-quality housing in a suburban setting for families and the elderly to improve access to open space for young people who are currently growing up in Rome or Naples proper. Despite the suburban setting, RNUCC says that residents will never be more than a 10 minute walk from local shops and venues, and will never be more than a 2 minute walk to a frequent bus stop to ensure that "A sense of community is maintained and residents do not feel isolated or distant from busy shopping streets and social facilities as is seen in so many of the sprawling, depressing, isolated suburbs of North America."

The freed housing stock that will be seen in Rome and Naples will see an opportunity for new small office spaces for SME's and apartments for professionals to encourage economic growth in the tech and services sectors in Rome and Italy as well as supplying more spacious, higher quality housing for young professionals, students and other urbanites. Some have protested over the environmental impact of building over 5,188 km2 of rural and semi-urban land, but RNUCC has said it is investing heavily in ensuring that woodland and wildlife is protected by setting robust laws that stop developers from building a continuous urban sprawl by establishing nature corridors of woodland and grasslands between developments to give the landscape patches of suburbs rather than continual suburbs, allowing nature to exist alongside people and allowing the movement of animals through the area without needing to pass through urbanised areas. It will also give residents in the new developments great access to open space and woodland to improve quality of life.

The government has lauded the scheme, calling it the biggest urban expansion project in mainland Italy alongside the Milan urban expansion that is currently underway. The scheme will be delivered in 5 phases. Phase 1 will support a population of 439,600 just outside of Rome, Phase 2 will support a population of 191,200 just outside of Naples, Phase 3 will support a population of 392,400 around Roccamonfina - Foce Garigliano Regional Park, Phase 4 will support the largest population of 749,200 and will be located east of Phase 1 and finally Phase 5 will support a population of 302,800 around the Natural Park of Monti Aurunci.

Once fully complete and populated, the corridor will connect Rome and Naples to officially create the statistical Rome-Naples Metropolitan Area which will be the 3rd largest metropolitan area in Europe after Paris (2nd) and London (1st) with a population across the statistical region of over 10 million.

Paraguyan Situation

Paraguay one of the few remaining non-socialist countries in South America happens to have an increasingly sordid history. Once a major power in the continent, they have since fallen from grace after the disastrous Paraguayan War. In the 1900s, the country had a series of civil wars and coups, until stability was finally under the rule of the anti-communist dictator Alfredo Stroessner and the Colorado Party. Naturally, the country became a firm ally of the United States during the first cold war.

Paraguay started to liberalize during the 1960s. However, in the aftermath of the Soviet-American War Paraguay was left without any patron. The opposition seized the initiative, with strikes and student riots rocking the country. It looked like another civil war was on the verge of breaking out, but swift military intervention diffused the situation, with many of the democratic reforms reversed afterward.

Stroessner resigned from the presidency in 1998, where he handed power to his son Gustavo Stroessner. However, he was ousted by his own party soon after his father's death. Nowadays Paraguay claims to be a multiparty democracy, though dissidents claim that the electoral system is little more than a rubber stamp. Recently there has been an uptick of guerilla activity from anti-government rebels, making the government more nervous.

Most notably, there was a failed assassination attempt on the president. The subsequent investigation soon found that the assassin was found armed with an Orostani military rifle. Similar as to in the DRC, international observers have advised against jumping into rash conclusions. However, the Paraguayan government has slammed the FSR for their thinly veiled imperialism. Soon afterward, a series of mass rallies were held in a show of popular support for the government.

DEU/EIM-URT-Singapore Conference!

Image

Since the failed negotiations with Crete, the FE has been in search of other potential trade partners. The answer came from Southeast Asia, as the government of the Republic of Singapore, the commerce giant of the Strait of Malacca, proposed a Free Trade Agreement, a Non-Agression Pact and a Student Exchange Program. As such, the FE government immediately answered positively, but equally stated the necessity of further negotiations regarding the FTA, as the FE was a member of the Mediterranean Commerce Guild (URT institution of trade and economic policy) and the European Internal Market, which enforces a common external tariff and acts a customs union. Therefore, a conference is agreed to be held in Athens, MCG HQ, next week.

The honour guests are:

Yet to be determined

It should be noted, that the sudden transformation of a proposal which would only take a few talks and a few signatures, into a whole conference, wasn’t ignored by the Fregantese politicians, lawmakers and economists alike, and they are raising concerns about the DEU becoming “very bureaucratic”. Many SPP senators raised concerns over the necessary effort for future negotiations.

The Orthodox Church Excommunicates the Holy Nigerian Army!

Image

The HNA, a renowned “crusader” faction of the Second Nigerian Civil War, has thus been excommunicated by the Orthodox Church, in condemnation of the crimes against humanity the organisation has committed. The excommunication order was proposed by the newly converted Orthodox Church of Canada, and was accepted by the Patriarchy of Athens.

“The actions taken by the HNA are crimes against humanity, against morality, against decency and most of all, against our Lord.” said the Patriarch, further adding the words: “It is with the proposal of our Canadian brothers and sisters in faith and with the approval of all Orthodox patriarchs and souls that we issue this excommunication order. The murder of men, women and children in such great numbers and in such cruel ways can never be aligned to the Christian faith. The order they wish to establish has nothing to with the Christian way of life, with the wishes of our Lord, and the orders of God. We hereby excommunicate the Holy Nigerian Army, and we urge all Christian sects to do the same.”

PESHAWAR HERALD

Almihria Criticizes the Persian Law Enforcement

ISLAMABAD-Following the horrific murder of 6 people by Canadian vigilantes in neighboring Persia, the Emir of Almihria harshly criticized Iran's peace-enforcement efforts and said it needs a big improvement. While speaking in front of the parliament, he expressed his strong sentiments towards the neighboring country's policies by saying: how can a country which cannot protect its citizens from vigilante tourists from across the world, be trusted with other important and bigger matters. As a neighboring, Almihria is very concerned about recent developments in Iran including interethnic clashes between refugees and the natives. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement saying that Almihria hopes that the internal clashes will cease and that the chaos will not spillover to the rest of the region, particularly Almhiria.

Government Langauge Reform

PESHAWAR-The Government of Almihria has voted in favor for a new langauge bill which will strip the Urdu and Punjabi of a status as official and state languages replacing them with Arabic and Pashtoo as part of the government's recent efforts to conservatize the country. The reform will have stages and will be implemented on all levels of government and society gradually. The Emir and his aides believe that while Almihria is a great regional power with a diverse ethnic makeup, it is important to promote country's religious traditions to unite the country and set aside any ethnic differences. Aside from being conservative, the Almihrian foreign policy has been leaning pro-Soviet while the general public is supporting integration with the West.

Not known to the public:

After the ruling of the BCAC regarding the San Martinian provinces of Antofagasta and Tarapacá in the Antofagasta Desert region, public officials released a statement soundly rejecting the ruling due to its lack of any historical or legal basis, in addition to reaffirming the illegitimacy of the BCAC and therefore its rulings.

However, military presence in the area has been increased for fear of the FSR taking advantage of the situation to attempt to annex the regions. Although an offensive war would be nigh impossible from the Andes and at least very difficult from the Atacama Desert, the fear has persisted. This is likely due to President Sánchez's no-nonsense policy regarding the FSR, considered paranoia by some. Foreign bases in the area on Magellan territory have been alerted of the development to prevent any miscommunication.

(Sorry for shortness, don't have any ideas to make a full misc post)

Paraguy: Battle of Encarnación

The anti-government resistance, led by the Paraguayan Communist Party and the Radical Liberal Party had been ongoing since the 1958 elections. Since then, sixty-four years had passed, but the government held its ground. This would all be suddenly flipped when government forces were ambushed by rebels near Encarnación. While on paper the government forces were much stronger than the ambushers, they broke and fell back soon after the attack started. The revolutionaries had captured the city without a fight, as well as nearby armories. The government quickly moved in to retake the city but were repelled with humiliating losses.

The disaster in Encarnación would prove to be a catastrophe for the government. News of the rebel victory quickly spread throughout the country, and the country was soon engulfed in a storm of protest and riots, as well as increased guerilla activity. In Asunción, protestors blockaded the presidential palace. This was too much to bear, and the military was brought in to handle the situation, which ultimately left over twenty people dead and many others wounded.

While the military response ultimately quelled the protests, it also turned soured the public's opinion of the government, with many people previously apathetic to the rebellion turning firmly against it. Even the Catholic Church, which previously only critiqued the regime finally turned against it, announcing its full support for the revolutionaries. In the wake of this, many soldiers started defecting to the revolutionaries, and the situation could easily deteriorate unless the government puts down the rebellion quickly.

Speakers at the "Anti-Imperialist March"
Persia to Neighbor: Mind your Own Business

After Almihrian authorities condemned Persisa for a supposed lack of authority of its own country, and inability to stop the murder of murder suspects by foreign vigilantes, Persian leaders shot back. PM Akbar when asked in a hallway on his way to a parliamentary session on the comments of the Almihrian leaders, "Oh, they should just mind their own business." laughed Akbar as he did not stop walking. At the annual Anti-Imperialist March, speakers as usual condemned various European figures. But one Tudeh politician said, "Almihrian dotards should shut up at haste!" The Anti-Imperialist March is carried out by the left and some Islamists, the government has no part in it. Generally the attitude towards the comment has been apathy. The investigation into remaining murder suspects continues.

Straight of Otranto Tunnel

Postby Grandes Terres » Fri Mar 15, 2019 10:10 am

20th June 2022

Senate of the Triumvirate announces $60 billion infrastructure project to tunnel under the Straight of Otranto

Today the Senate of the Triumvirate voted to approve funding for the URT's first infrastructure megaproject. NAF$60 billion has been allocated for the project, which will see the worlds longest undersea tunnel be constructed across the Adriatic sea at the Straight of Otranto. The tunnel will contain both a highway for driving between Italy and the Fregantes Empire as well as a high speed rail line to greater integrate and improve the URT's high speed rail network.

The main tunnel, connecting mainland Italy to the island of Corfu, will be the longest continuous section at 113 km while the second tunnel, connecting corfu to mainland Fregantes Empire, will be 17.7 km. The island of Corfu will also see 56.9 km of new highway that will connect between the two tunnels as well as 56.8 km of high speed rail on the island that also connects between the two tunnels with a stop in the capital of the island. Outside of Corfu, mainland Italy will receive 179 km of new high speed rail to connect the tunnel to the Italian high speed network at Bari as well as 117 km of new highway to connect the tunnel to Italy's national highway network. On the mainland in Fregantes Empire 57 km of new high speed rail will connect the tunnel to the high speed rail network at Ioannina. No new highway's will be built as on the Fregantese side the tunnel end's in the small town of Igoumenitsa which is already connected to the Fregantese highway network.

The Senate of the Triumvirate's Infrastructure Improvement and Expansion Committee (IIEC), which has had a key role in the development of the Straight of Otranto Tunnel has established the 'Otrantotunnel Corporation' that will oversee the maintenance and management of the tunnel for the rest of its life once it is complete, a headquarters will be constructed in the town of Otranto where the Italian side of the tunnel will begin.

At a cost of NAF$60 billion (Ā51.6 billion), the cost will be the single largest expense made by the URT government on infrastructure, which has only recently begun taking over the costs of major interstate infrastructure projects across the Triumvirates 3 state governments. Of the 60 billion spent, the tunnels themselves will make up the vast majority at a cost of approximately 50 billion, while the high speed rail and highways will take up the remaining approx. 10 billion of the allocated funds. The Straight of Otranto Tunnel will be Europe's largest present construction project and will employ tens of thousands of workers from across the URT and will support hundreds of thousands of jobs across the URT and the EIM as a whole.

The official plan for the Straight of Otranto Tunnel: Image

Chacao Channel Bridge

Postby Grandes Terres » Mon Mar 18, 2019 10:18 am

Image

6th July 2022

Atlantia announces $410 million project to bridge the Chacao Channel, connecting the island of Chiloé to mainland San Martina

Today Atlantia, Italy's largest infrastructure company, Atlantia, that is responsible for the design, construction and sometimes maintenance of buildings and infrastructure worldwide announced that it has been given permission by the government of San Martina to construct a 2,635 metre-long suspension bridge that will become South Americas longest suspension bridge once complete in 2026.

Atlantia will operate tolls on the bridge in order to recuperate the cost of building the bridge and to make a profit. In the future if the San Martinian government wants to incorporate the bridge into public ownership Atlantia says it will be willing to negotiate a price for this process to take place, likely higher than the cost of construction in order for Atlantia to make a profit.

The main purpose for the bridge is to replace the ferry crossing that is currently required to cross the Chacao Channel and reach the mainland. This takes 25-45 minutes whereas the new bridge will allow vehicles to cross the bridge in less than 3 minutes. This will open up new opportunities on the island of Chiloé as it will be connected to the main San Martinian road network.

Of particular interest is the rapidly expanding city of Ancud, home of Start-Up San Martina and a booming centre for entrepreneurs and SME's outside of the economic powerhouses of Santiago and Buenos Aires. The town of Ancud is the major reason why this bridge has reached the construction phase as its expansion and booming economic growth have made the ferry service unfeasible due to the increased traffic. It is predicted that with the bridge in operation Ancud will expand even faster and its professional businesses will prosper. The announcement of the bridge alone has already attracted the attention of international investors, particularly from Italy, who see Ancud as the 'San Francisco of San Martina'.

New Railway Project, Now with our Italian Ally

By Sawatari Misae, Staff Correspondent

Image

Although the government is dealing with the aftereffects of the Orostan-Bengali Joint Rail Scandal, the Ministry of Transport has announced that they have accepted an offer by internationally renowned transport manufacturer Trenitalia to conduct a new joint project involving the railway. Italy has been a close Entete ally of Bengal, and as a member of the DEU, an important trade partner and port for Bengali goods.

According to the Trenitalia attaché to the Ministry of Transport, who took part in yesterday’s press conference, the project will cost the Bengali government 63.4 Billion USD (about 7 trillion Bengali Ren), but is expected to give a boost to the Bengali economy in a long term prospect with short travel times. The heart of the new National Railway will be at the old capital of Dhaka, from which, all major metropolitan cities will be connected to the rest of the country. And also, Trenitalia will maintain ownership of the railway for some time, then will relinquish all shares to the Bengal Rail group of companies, after which, the name of the service will be changed into Sakura Shinkansen
Image
The trainsets for this new railway will be built by Mitsue Heavy Industries, in cooperation with Trenitalia.

The Tierra del Fuego Initiatives
Image

Recently, the Italian company Edifice Global Investments announced the beginnings of the construction of the Cape Thetis commuter belt, a series of twenty-nine towns with transportation links to the nearby Cape Thetis. This is likely due to a number of reasons, most likely being the extremely high population density in Nuovo Milano. These towns will have most major infrastructure constructed by Edifice Global and other firms that wish to enter the project and are expected to have a population just under three million.

Many San Martinian corporate entities have shown interests in the area due to the expected high urbanization. Mallplaza, owned and operated by the Falabella Group, has announced an intention to construct Mallplaza Tierra del Fuego, a shopping mall to service the area. It will likely be in Strambino, which is in close distance to a number of the other towns. It is expected to include a Falabella department store in addition to many others. Cencosud followed up with a more decentralized initiative, planning a small mall in Cavallari, which is further away from Cape Thetis, and some Easy home improvement stores, Paris department stores, and a few Jumbo hypermarkets. Most of these will not finish construction until after the commuter belt has finished construction and been sufficiently populated.

Much more prominent is the announced intention to expand the electronics manufacturing industry to such areas. Ushuaia and Rio Grande, both in the province, are already hubs of the nation in the industry due to initiative in the 1970s. The electronics manufacturing industry in the area mostly requires highly-educated persons and so the residents of the commuter belt would most likely be able to enter the industry. This would increase the economic importance of the extreme south of the nation in line with Project: Frontier. This industry is likely to be boosted further with the announcement of the opening of a Start-Up San Martinia outpost in the area, the fourth after Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Ancud (another hotbed of development).

A final project includes a plan to construct an oil pipeline between the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego and the existing Patagonian oil pipelines to allow better transportation from the oil-rich area to refineries and and other important areas.

The increasing urbanization of the Tierra del Fuego province seems to be on a successful track. The highly-populated Italian Cape Thetis has a mostly services-based economy that will be complemented by the expanded electronics manufacturing industry. Residents of the city whose talents are more tailored for the factories will likely find a new home in the commuter belt. The rapid expansion of the electronics industry could be potentially tied to, in addition to the expected population growth, the reduced tax rates on domestic business entities established by a recently passed bill as well as the already previously-established reduced rates in the province for the industry (which were used in the initiative of the 1970s). The port of Ushuaia, one of the most economically important ports of the nation, allows for such an industry to thrive. The recent controversial sale of Isla Nueva to the ADE has secured Austrian funds for the planned city to be connected to the Isla Grande by a bridge in addition to other projects. Some enthusiasts have begun calling the island a third "major" area of the country, after the northeast (with the Buenos Aires, Rosario, and Cordoba metropolitan areas) and the central-west (with the Santiago and Valparaiso metropolitan areas), although detractors have been quick to point out that such success would depend on further encouraging wealthier Cape Thetis residents and families to move to the more spacious commuter belt. Many initiatives have been considered should the prospects of the region seem low, including reduced personal tax rates, however with infrastructure from Edifice Global, retail services from Falabella and Cencosud, and job opportunities from electronics manufacturing factories and Cape Thetis, this is highly unlikely.

The growing economic cooperation between the nations of Italy and San Martinia is significant to note, with Italy considered a close economic ally alongside Australia. UniCredit, an Italian financial services company, serves as one of the sponsors of Start-Up San Martinia, a program that was established to increase growth of the already expanding manufacturing industry in the hopes of increasing its importance to those of the agricultural or material industries. Additionally, Italian company Atlantia is developing a project for international airports in Valparaiso (where residents previously had to use the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, a crowded major international transport hub that is some distance away) and Ancud (an area of focus for Project: Frontier) in addition to a suspension bridge between the mainland and the island of Chiloe, while Telecom Italia is developing projects for fiberoptic internet infrastructure in southern regions where population is relatively low. Edifice Global has a number of projects in San Martinia, including office towers in Santiago to headquarter graduates of Start-Up San Martinia, the Costa Ritoque resort city in the Greater Valparaiso area, and a mixed-use development project in Santiago (in addition to the already-mentioned Cape Thetis commuter belt).

Madero Harbour Completes Construction!
Image

One of the larges mixed-use development projects in South America, Madero Harbour, has finally completed construction. Construction began over ten years ago, in 2008, and was expected to be completed by 2020, but completion was delayed due to complications. 'The project consists of 80,000 square meters and was produced by the GNVGroup. It includes nine buildings, all interconnected. It is bounded to the north by Lola Mora, to the east by Julieta Lanteri, to the south by Camila O'Gorman, and to the west by Juana Manso.

On Lola Mora (the north side of the square), the northeast corner (intersection of Lola Mora and Juleta Lanteri) consists of the tallest building, Harbour Tower, which stands at 192 meters high with 52 floors. It is a residential tower, housing residential units up to 500 meters squared, and on the top two floors, a penthouse duplex with private elevator access. On that side, to the left of Harbour Tower, is also Harbour Residencies (T11), a nine-story residential building containing studios and units up to 170 meters squared, in addition to housing a hotel with 125 hotel rooms. Finally, at the northwest corner is the intesection of Lola Mora and Juana Manso, where World Trade Center 1 (T1), an office tower which stands 70 meters high with 20 floors, stands. On Juana Manso Avenue stands a unified structure of three buildings, World Trade Center 3 to the north (T2), Harbor Houses in the center (T3), and World Trade Center 4 to the south (T4). The World Trade Center 3 and 4 have eight floors of 470 square meter offices, while Harbor Houses has residencies up to 200 square meters. At the intersection of Juana Manso and Camila O'Gorman stands T5, an office tower identified as World Trade Center 2 and identical to T1, aside from the inclusion of a heliport on the roof. A two-floor shopping mall connects all the buildings aboveground, extending throughout the rest of the development not taken up by the other buildings. It has 20,000 square meters of gross leasable area and is able to hold up to 150 stores, in addition to a cinema complex, a specialized medicine center, and a green terrace. It is also connected by a commercial basement that includes a supermarket. The area bordering the west of the square is currently empty, allowing for future development.

Residential buildings include amenities like indoor and outdoor pools, spas, gyms, solariums, laundry rooms, and car washes. It is very environmentally friendly, including solar panels and green roofs, among other such things. The residential buildings are intended to house wealthier businesspersons who work in the neighboring office towers as well as the nearby skyscrapers (most of Puerto Madero is dominated by skyscrapers). However, the shopping center and green areas are intended to be public spaces.

This mixed-use development is just south of the ZenCity complex, which is located across the Lola Mora. The ZenCity complex contains five towers, a residential Ónix Tower with 23 floors and a stepped 9-floor section, residential Rubí and Ámbar Towers 72 meters high with 23 floors, a terraced Zafiro Tower Hotel with 9 floors, and an office Esmeralda Tower with seven floors (the first floor is dedicated to commercial purposes), in addition to, in the center, a large plaza containing waterfalls and pools. It is also just to the north of another mixed-use development under construction, the Art Maria complex across Camila O'Gorman, containing two 20-floor residential towers connected in their last floors by a steel bridge containing a solarium and pool and two office towers (almost completing construction), all connected by a ground floor complex defined by a wavy metal/glass mesh. Puerto Madero's coast with the South Darsena River is in fact populated by such skyscrapers and complexes, establishing it not only as a more affluent neighborhood of the city (similar to the Sanhatta/El Golf district of Santiago) but also an economic center.

Complexes such as this, however, also represent a growing trend of economic disparity between the upper and lower classes in major cities like Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Cordoba. The government's expansive welfare program and progressive taxation has slowed this growth, but it still continues. This is most prominent in the slums of such cities. There is currently a proposal in Congress that hopes to address this inequality with motivations for companies to pursue affordable housing complexes, including lowered tax rates on companies that own and/or operate properties that provide affordable housing to large quantities of people.

MIKADO DERAILS IN BENGAL

Image

The emails of every member of the Bengal government’s cabinet and several money transfer files among other things have further reinforced the case for the removal of the PM, cabinet, and now the mikado (king) of the country. These emails reveal the prime minister regularly communicated with the CEOs and share holders of the largest transport and industrial businesses, and was “paid for his services”. The emails also show the complicity of the mikado in the corruption and the plot to destroy opposition to Bengal’s alliance with Europe, including fabricated corruption documents aimed at the opposition and the PM’s advisors discussing which opposition leader they should “fabricate FSR corruption on”.

The mikado did not help the PM’s group, but was aware of what was going on and did nothing to stop it. Communications also reveal that the PM and his cabinet conspired to use the Italians to finish their rail system before kicking out the FSR - raising the possibility of Italian corruption being involved.

The actions of the Prime Minister and their gang have cost their country billions and established a near-dictatorship. Already there are large political organizations preparing protest actions against the government, and already have there been demonstrations outside government buildings in several cities.

Nation Divided, O-hime leads protests against Government and Mikado

By Mayuri Hyakuya, Staff Correspondent

Image

After the recent TeitoGate files, which had scandalous evidence against most members of the Cabinet, and also evidence of inaction against the Mikado were released on popular online message board 5channel, the country is in uproar as people are protesting infront of government buildings across the country, demanding that the resignation of all Cabinet members. However, most of the public spotlight is going towards the Ohime(Crown Princess), Yuuhi Tsumikado, an 22year old Air Self-Defense Force fighter pilot who will take the reins of the throne once her father’s reign ends. The Ohime has been leading the protest in front of the Royal Palace in the Capital.

Image
Her Highness, the Ohime in military uniform

According to a reliable source who was there at the time of Her Highness’s statement, she said
“Its sad to see that the people we elected to the diet to serve us, and ensure that the 78 million people of our country gets proper leadership and a better life stoop so low. However, its more depressing to see that my father, the Mikado, the person who’s supposed to make sure that such a thing was not supposed to happen just stand and watch as such evil and greedy people in power filled up their pockets. I as the O-hime, ask these people to stand aside, and I also ask His Majesty the Mikado to declare elections to end this state of “semi-dictatorship”, and ensure that the people of our country are represented by honest men and women who are dedicated to serve without expecting anything in return.”

In the aftermath, Bengali netizens have demanded that the Mikado abdicate in favour of the Ohime. And according to police sources, the protests on the streets have been going on peacefully, with no loss to property, or injuries.

Government implements new 'hard paternalism' laws to 'ensure the protection of minors from negative parental influences'

Today the Minister of Labour and Social Policies, Giuliano Poletti, announced a set of new laws being implemented by the government. The laws have been described as "hard paternalism", the idea that in some cases strong actions must be taken to protect people and act in their best interest without their direct consent. Forza Italia has always identified as a paternalistic party and its governments have always reflected that fact, with the new legislation announced today adding to the list of paternalistic laws implemented by successive governments under Forza Italia. Representatives from Partito Democratico, Forza Italia's coalition partner, have not commented on their party's stance on paternalist ideology, however the party has little in the way of opposing views to Forza Italia in social policy areas.

The Child Protection & Anonymity Act 2022 outlines several new and improved laws as well as several laws that will have a significant impact on the education system and parents rights:

I. Compulsory vaccination of all children in Italy - investigation of parents by social services, Ā10,000 fine, and possible loss of custody if parents fail to vaccinate children.

II. Homeschooling ban - All children in Italy must attend an educational institution, whether private or state funded, until the age of 18.

III. Child anonymity powers - Any child under the age of 16 has the right to request that images of themselves published online or offline are censored, parents must comply with the wishes of their children regarding anonymity and consent must be given before images of a minor are published.

IV. Ban on parental involvement in shaping school curriculum - Parents are prohibited from attempting to influence educational curriculum of schools, any organised efforts to influence school curriculum will result in fines and investigations by social services into all parents involved.

V. Parents must attend 20 hours of Child-Rearing classes during pregnancy - The cost of classes will be subsidised by the government.

VI. Parents must attend 5 hours of Child Nutrition classes during pregnancy - The cost of classes will be subsidised by the government.

VII. Indoctrination of children into radical or intolerant beliefs will be illegal - Children will be educated on recognising and reporting ideological indoctrination from parents, relatives and others to school authorities. Appropriate legal action will then take place.

Minister of Labour and Social Policies, Giuliano Poletti, made the announcement on Saturday: Image

"HE WHO CONTROLS THE YOUTH, CONTROLS THE FUTURE"

Governments around the world throughout history have used their education system to instill the beliefs of the ruling class into the nation's youth. In the USA during the 1950s, children were taught to fear Communism and the left wing. In Hitlerite Germany, membership of the Hitler Youth organization was made mandatory for schoolchildren. In Italy today, the state is now allowed to arrest parents for "ideological indoctrination" of their children. In practice this means censorship of political opinion inside the home. Children are now being encouraged to report "radical" politics espoused by their parents at the home - similar to what Hitler Youth organizers once told Children to do in Germany. The Italian laws stop short of mandating that all children join a state backed youth organization, however it does ban homeschooling and greatly restrict parents ability to lobby schools for changes in curriculum. Twenty five hours of parenting classes are mandated by the Italian government for both parents during pregnancy. The laws are extremely open to abuse, and make no protection against their abuse. In fact, the laws encourage abuse. Point seven of the program, "Indoctrination of children into radical or intolerant beliefs will be illegal - Children will be educated on recognising and reporting ideological indoctrination from parents, relatives and others to school authorities. Appropriate legal action will then take place.", can be read to imply that political indoctrination of children by the state is required to identify and report radical "political indoctrination". It was previously revealed by this paper that the Italian government is absolutely subject to wealthy interests, and that the words "Italian democracy" do not mean much. It is hard for any European government to justify to its people why they support such an obvious authoritarian oligarchy in Italy.

Leadership of PDPSA removed and replaced

The top leadership of Puertollano state-run oil company, PDPSA (Petroleum de Puertollano - South America), has been removed and replaced through a directive issued by President Castillo. As part of his expanded powers in the new constitution, President Castillo has disbanded the leadership of the company and replaced it members from the Movement Towards Socialism Party. The executive board will now be stacked with four members from the MTS Party and a representative from the Communist Party of Puertollano. The President did so after yesterday he took to national television to decry a plot he claims the intelligence services uncovered that revealed the previous leadership was co-ordinating with the German military through an office in San Martinia. Castillo re-emerged on television again today to announce that his government as restored trust in its' public institution through rooting out "foreign agents". The new executive board has made moves to democratize the workforce who work for PDPSA and initial indicators say that they plan to contribute more to the social programs instituted by the Movement Towards Socialism Party.

PESHAWAR HERALD

Prime Minister Slams the Syrian Occupation

The Prime Minister of Almihria Murad Fahdi, who also happened to be the son of the Emir, slammed the occupation of Syria by the forces of evil. By the occupation, he meant Persia exerting its influence on the people of Syria. Delivering his speech before the Supreme Assembly, he condemned Iranian meddling in the affairs of Syria and called it "infecting innocent people with a dangerous disease." Fahdi accused the government of Persia of promoting disunity in Syria and blamed the Persian President for the problems of the region. This response comes after a brief war of words exchanging between the neighbors.

In the biggest city of Islamabad, the Prime minister also rallied the crowd consisting of young people and students to beware of the influences of the west which he blamed for supporting various conflicts.

"Look at Nigeria, Southeast Asia, and Liberia, and other countless countries. Who destoroyed them and divided the people? Now they are extending their dirty hands into South America. But we will not let them destroy us. In fact, if they dare to even look at us in the wrong way, it will be the last thing they see."

France begins maritime surveillance in support of MDSF, redeploys fleets

The French Seventh Republic has begun to conduct air patrols under the DEU's MDSF deployments, with a specific focus upon Macaronesia as part of enforcing the Mediterranean Military Exclusion Zone. Aircraft launching from France will approach the limits of the Euro Sea near the Mid Atlantic Ridge around the Azores, before traveling over the Madeira archipelago and Canary Islands. They will land for refueling at Nouadhibou in Mauritania if their flight was disrupted for any purpose, before travelling back across the Sahara desert and reaching the Mediterranean coast of the Dominion of Algeria and returning to Europe.

The announcement of these maritime patrol flights comes as the French Navy redeploys its naval fleets from the role of supporting ground fighting and facilitating supply shipments to Mauritania. The Mediterranean Fleet will return to Mers-el-Kébir, while the North Atlantic Fleet will position itself northwest of Cape Verde in the Euro Sea for air defense exercises. Meanwhile, the South Atlantic and Pacific Fleets have announced they plan on making port visits to the San Martinian cities of Antofagasta and Bahía Blanca, however have not ruled out visiting other cities in the country. The plans to make regular deployments is a sign of France's respect for the nation.

Liberia; Look at who saved them
September 1st, 2022
Written by Albert Stringer

The Pakistani's accuse us of destroying Liberia. We have done nothing but help.

In a recent article by "PESHAWAR HERALD," Liberia has supposedly been destroyed by the West. This of course, is according to their nation's prime minister Murad Fahdi. This is in spite of the fact that Liberia; because of prolonged NAF intervention, support both militarily and economically, and protectorate status. As in a recent poll taken by pew research, a majority of Liberians (80%) stated that their lives have never been better since North American intervention in Liberia. Due to North American intervention in Liberia, terrorist groups, warlord cells and the sort have been suppressed by both North American Armed-Forces and the Liberian Armed-Forces, of which are heavily funded by and trained by the North American Federation.

Because of this prolonged intervention and because of North American economic assistance, Liberia has seen the lowest unemployment and the highest level of economic independence since after the decolonization of Africa. A report by Project Evered shows that less than 4% of Liberia is unemployed-which previously before North American Intervention, was above 20% and only rising, and economic growth is reaching levels unprecedented; similarly to that of the Canadian economic growth between 1989-2015, and STD's and other deadly diseases have became less common. Because of this prolonged support, Liberia is now one of the most stable, and one of the happiest nations in Africa.

With that in mind, the words of the Prime Minister are indeed incorrect; Liberia is one of the best places to live in out of much of Africa. We cannot however, speak for some of their other claims; of which range from true to disputed. Regardless, it is quite irresponsible to, as a World leader provide faulty information about another nation. Especially when that nation is doing perfectly fine.

Constitutional Court strikes down CPAA-22, citing 'blatant breaches of the constitution'

Today the Constitutional Courts 15 judges unanimously struck down the governments latest legislation, the Child Protection & Anonymity Act 2022 (CPAA-22) citing blatant breaches of the constitution in areas of Freedom of Education (Articles 29-34 'Ethical and Social Relations') and Freedom of Expression (Articles 13-28 'Civil Relations'). The ruling means that the government is now bound by law to repeal CPAA-22, that was due to be implemented at the beginning of 2023.

Opposition politicians have claimed that the failure of the government and lawmakers to appropriately devise CPAA-22 in accordance with some of the constitutions most basic and blatantly outlined principles indicates the governments ineptitude and erodes their legitimacy through the amount of sleaze and error that has been allowed to occur under the coalition government. This only adds to the criticism of the coalition government, which has been in power since 2020, that has been accused of taking no real actions regarding new policy, international affairs or DEU projects and the further integration agenda. Many have called it the 'infrastructure government' as little else has been championed by the government since its election.

Minister of Labour and Social Policies, Giuliano Poletti, who spearheaded CPAA-22, made a statement following the verdict of the Constitutional Court announcing his "disappointment and dismay" at the rejection of CPAA-22, claiming "Freedom of education and freedom of expression are most certainly not degraded to an extent that could be considered 'unconstitutional' in CPAA-22". Despite this, the Minister has reaffirmed his commitment to the Constitutional Court stating that "Despite wholeheartedly disagreeing with the ruling of the Constitutional Court, their decision is final and must be respected by this government by law, so it will be and CPAA-22 will be withdrawn." It is not known whether a modified version of CPAA-22 will be proposed after taking on board the findings of the Constitutional Court, however the current coalition government doesn't appear to have the appetite to make bold legislation and decisions so it will likely be shelved indefinitely.

El Dictador Simón Bolívar
Image

The Ministry of Education is currently reworking its curriculum to shed a much darker light on Simón Bolívar, following a popular petition. Bolívar, a historical military leader, is considered the liberator of northern South America, most specifically of Gran Colombia (now Puertollano). Additionally, he is the liberator of Bolivia (now part of Andea) and one of the liberators of Peru. Born into a wealthy criollo family, Bolívar was educated in Spain and responded well to many of the ideas of the Enlightenment, leading him to become a prominent leader during the Venezuelan war for independence from Spain. He soon liberated the rest of the former Viceroyalty of New Granada, uniting it into Gran Colombia and becoming its first president in 1821. Bolívar's presidency, however, was dictatorial in all but name, as he had been granted extreme powers. As president of Gran Colombia, Bolívar was a strong proponent of centralism that further expanded his powers, including a lifetime presidency in which he chose his successor. An assassination attempt occurred in 1828 by supporters of his vice president and former ally, Francisco de Paula Santander, and, as a result, Bolívar instituted execution of the political opponents.

After being named president of Gran Colombia, he went on to assist in the elimination of remaining Spanish troops in Peru, which had already been liberated by José de San Martín. In 1824, after defeating the royalist troops, Bolívar was named president of Peru. His term as president of Peru had similar situations as his concurrent presidency of Gran Colombia, with him even ordering the stripping churches of valuables in order to pay for his continued military efforts.

Contemporaries often described Bolívar as self-obsessed and narcissistic, possessed with his own glory. His military prowess was often countered by his impatience and extreme dislike of subservience and cooperation. His greatest flaws included his greed and hunger for power. There was no greater difference than that between Bolívar and his southern South American counterpart, José de San Martín, liberator of what is now San Martinia in addition to Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru. San Martín was reserved and regal, patient and determined. This is most obvious in his daring Crossing of the Andes, a strategic move often compared to Hannibal's Crossing of the Alps, differing in its more precarious conditions. He tricked the royalist troops many times into dispersing troops to different passes by feeding false information to Native Americans and spies. His Army of the Andes, meanwhile, took three years in the making, bolstered by Bernardo O'Higgins, another prominent liberator, and other refugees from the Spanish retakeover of Chile. San Martín, unlike Bolívar, cared little for political power, turning down political leadership in both the United Provinces of Río de la Plata and Chile.

The two generals met in the Guayaquil Conference. San Martín, having already liberated Peru, recognized a need to combine armies in order to eliminate the royalist troops that had fled into the Andes. However, Bolívar refused to give any of his troops to the control of San Martín. San Martín offered Bolívar many compromises, including serving under him in the assault, but Bolívar refused to finish the liberation of Peru unless San Martín had no part in it, a more prominent indicator of his greed for glory. San Martín, however, sacrificed his ambition for the betterment of Peru, stepping down from the presidency and taking a sabbatical from public life in the United Provinces.

Most San Martinians consider San Martín as El Libertador. The relative international renown for Bolívar compared to San Martín is seen as one of history's greatest snubs by most San Martinians, especially since little know what truly occurred in the Guayaquil Conference. The new curriculum will likely include a much more accurate picture of the general Bolívar, a self-centered military dictator more often than liberator, often comparing him to Napoleon Bonaparte.

This new curriculum has been a long time coming, having been pushed by many but never becoming a reality until now. Shortly after the announcement, President Sánchez, who most likely pushed it through, heavily implied Puertollanoan president Castillo to be a dictator similar to Simón Bolívar, due to his self-expansion of powers beyond what the Puertollanoan Constitution allows and resulting abuses of power. The president, in reference to Castillo, repeated the famous proverb "those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it" of the Puertollanoan people who support the politician.
