Breaking News - Austro-Danubian Government Exposes Genocide in Myanmar!

Agents from the government and various media outlets of the Austro-Danubian Empire have uncovered chilling details on a crisis in the corrupt nation of Myanmar. The recent squabbles between European nations during the Calin Civil War, the crisis in the Balkans, and the ever present Cold War between the FSR and the DEU have created a situation in Myanmar in which a significant minority of the country are being abused by the corrupt regime that is the Government of Myanmar. The seemingly abrupt and intense situation has shocked agents in the Austro-Danubian/Myanmese Embassy in Naypyidaw to the point that they have called for some sort of Austro-Danubian intervention in the country.

The subject at hand of course calls for some information on what is going on in Myanmar. The crisis is so unknown that entire branches of Austro-Danubian media are being forged and created just to cover said story. The Rohingya peoples of Myanmar have been considered one of the most oppressed people groups in the world, and with the events that have transpired in the previous couple weeks, a situation has been established that can be considered a genocide of an ethnic group of peoples. The Rohingya are a Muslim group of minorities in the predominately Muslim nation of Myanmar. The Rohingya are denied citizenship in the nation and aren't even recognized under the Myanmese government, despite making up one million of the overall Myanmese population of fifty-three million. The Rohingya peoples have been met with a massive wave of government sponsored violence and are being forced to flee the nation by the thousands, primarily into the neighboring nation of Bangladesh.

Official numbers and an official investigation of the government of Myanmar will be released within the next couple of days. OOC: because of both my tight schedule, and I need to do some research.

With the current research conducted by the Austro-Danubian government, the situation in Myanmar has officially been dubbed by Emperor Martin von Habsburg-Lorraine as "an official attempt of ethnic cleansing by the Myanmese government."

With the outcry that came with the first official report (expect some more with better details to come as the situation transpires), the Austro-Danubian Empire has officially embarked a small fleet to the coast of Myanmar to serve as a warning to the Myanmese government that the Austro-Danubian Empire is ready to declare war on it in order to fix the situation at hand and ultimately save the Myanmese peoples.

The Austro-Danubian Empire officially requests that the Australian government of Bendicion allow the Austro-Danubian military to host troops in northern Australia in case the situation escalates into a military conflict. The Austro-Danubian Empire also requests that any like minded European nations join the cause to save the Myanmese peoples from their own corrupt government.

Calls for a regime change are expected to become ever prevalent as these details are exposed.

Government Announces End of Freedom of Immigration Policy For Cape Thetis

Today the Department of Immigration announced that it is to end the freedom of immigration policy that is currently in force in Cape Thetis. This policy allowed people of any nation to apply for residency in Cape Thetis, and after 8 years allowed them to apply for Italian citizenship, under this policy 1,100 people successfully applied for residency in Cape Thetis and currently live there, of those 1,100 people 653 have become Italian citizens as they have lived there for more than 8 years. Other than this, 40,000 Austro-Danubian's are currently residents of Cape Thetis, presiding in Neues Bukarest. Austro-Danubians will also be included under the new scheme meaning, at present, only Italian citizens will now be able to apply for Cape Thetis residency. The government has assured the current 40,447 non-Italian citizens living in Cape Thetis that they will not be affected by these immigration changes and that any children born in Cape Thetis from the 40,447 people before they become Italian citizens will become Italian citizens on birth. The government also wanted to note that dual-citizenship is not possible for Italian citizens and that any peoples wishing to become citizens would be required to renounce their previous citizenship, but that the choice is obviously theirs if they want to become Italian citizens or not. The governments claimed reasoning behind this is that with Cape Thetis' booming population concern has begun spreading about over population of the cape despite it currently not being densely populated by 2020 it is expected have the density of major European cities like London so open foreign immigration should be limited. The only way now for foreigners to gain Cape Thetis residency is to establish a business in the cape, this must achieve a certain net profit before residency and must be sustained for 10 years or residency will be revoked, the same applies if the business is moved to another country.

Military On Alert

Following the recent announcement that the nation of Myanmar is under investigation for the oppression of its population and political corruption, Orbanis and the APN are launching their own investigation into the matter to determine if war crimes have been committed by the Myanmar government. The government has stated that should evidence of war crime be found the APN will place trade sanctions on the nation, preventing it from trading in Asia and the Pacific. Further actions have not been made public but are expected to include international sanctions via the DEU, NAF, and FSR, and the military appears to be preparing for military options. While Myanmar has a massive army over 500,000 strong, it has a weak Navy, allowing the Orbais fleet to starve the nation economically and many at ONN are expecting the military to place a blockade on the South East Asian Nation should hostilities occur in the area.

Prime Minister Ado has come out today say that "....This is an Asian-Pacific Matter and as such we ask the rest of the world to stay out of this possible conflict, with the exception of France due to its colonial investments in Indochina and the UK due to their territories in India. We do not expect them to sit quietly while there is the possibility of their assess being threatened. We do not wish to inflame the situation and cause conflict in South East Asia.".

Marshall Islands Petitions for Entrance into the APN

Earlier yesterday evening the Marshall Islands contacted Orbanis requesting to join the Alliance of Pacific Nations. The Marshall Islands is a federation of islands in the Central Pacific that is very similar culturally and economically to Micronesia and as such they wish to share the same benefits that Micronesia is receiving from Orbanis being military and economic support. The APN is viewed with a positive light by the people of the nation due to the Pacific Revival Plan as as such the public has a strong majority for joining the APN. The Solomon Islands also contacted the APN today and asked to join as well, but due to the possibility of the integration of the islands into the APN may be viewed as a threat by Benidiction who is already wary of the Pacific organization. Talks and negotiations for both nations will take place this week, though it is unlikely that the Solomon Islands will be admitted at the current time.

Investing in the South Pacific

In an effort to show the APN and Orbanis wish to keep the peace in the Pacific, Orbanis announced today that it will start to invest in Benidiction for non-military trade and resources. While the investment is not expected to be anything massive, prior trade with Australia and Japan before the American-Soviet War accounted for 30% of both nation's trade. This has investors glad since many have wished to expand business to the South Pacific. However, the government has stated that they will cease any trade should the Reich threaten the peace in the region. Experts are estimating that 20-30% of investments Benidiction could be from Japan in the next year or so should predicted economic levels hold true.

RTA: defunded, surplus provisions to be sold.

It was previously reported in July that the 'Republican Territorial Army' was being considered for major budget cuts due to the state of world affairs and recent conflicts making their existence more or less obsolete in the eyes of the government. This was put on hold due to a breakdown in world stability as a result of campaigns in Eastern Europe and the ICBM exchange between Zackaroth and South America, however the topic has once again been raised by the defense ministry. This time however, the issue has been permanently resolved:

President Dutoit said at the time [in his July speech] that the French Confederation's huge size of active and reserve personnel was unsustainable and more than sufficient to defend the Sixth Republic. He also stated his intention to slash spending and the total personnel roll of the RTA by at least half, however understandably changes to the global balance of power required the postponement of this proposal. Now however, we may push ahead with this plan and go further: the entire Republican Territorial Army is to be defunded and demobilized. This will impact approximately 100,000 personnel in Metropolitan France alone. Surplus equipment not viewed as valuable enough to be maintained for the French Army will either be sold off or scrapped. The RTA's dissolution will take place immediately for all non-logistical personnel, with logistics officers remaining on the payroll for the next two months while the liquidation is carried out. In this age of international rearming, France stands as an example of a nation willing to demobilize in such large numbers. We can only hope that other nations are willing and able to do the same.

Military presence in the South China Sea reaffirmed

ARVN forces have moved to reinforce the territorial claims of the French Indochinese Federation in the South China Sea. The Republic of Vietnam constructed facilities on the Paracel Islands and the Spratly Islands in 2016, and given that regional stability has been more or less restored with the end of the communist insurgency ARVN forces may be more permanently deployed there without distractions from campaigns in the mainland Indochinese Wars. The French Pacific Fleet is also hosting ships from the British and North American fleets in the South China Sea near the French Indochinese islands in large military exercises, with the cooperation being the first with these partners in this area of the region since the fall of the Chinese Ultra-Nationalists.

Student Exchange Progam Created

MELBOURNE- The Department of Education recently struck a deal with the North American Federation to create an exchange program for Bendian students. The agreement came after a quick discussion, with Losconia happy to accept students to study in their country. The Department of Education has already started to seek these students. There are however requirements in order for a student to be able to join the program.

1)He/She must have exemplary grades in SMT and also proficient in the Humanities.
2)Has no record of disciplinary action
3)Has an overall average not lower than 1.5
and many more listed.
If the said requirements are to be fully taken care of, the student is to take an entrance exam that will test her knowledge, skills and mental condition.The test is divided into 8 tests:Math,Biology,Political Science, Physics, Chemistry, English, Abstract Reasoning, and History; each having 50-70 items each, taking the exam will take 3 days or if the student is to finish it faster then he or she can do it even before a week. A percentage of 90% correct automatically grants the student:
1) Passport w/NAF visa
2)Monthly stipend of $150
3)Letter of Contract, to avoid the student-scolars to not deviate from their enrolled courses.
4)Books and transportation costs are to be covered
If the student however gets an 80-89% in the test he or she is to be placed on waiting list, 75%-79% will have to meet certain conditions to be able to join.But otherwise will not be given that much priority.Only 1000 student are to be sent, 300 are expected to study Medicine 400 in Engineering and the rest will be enrolled in SMT and Humanities.

Government on Myanmar Crisis

CANBERRA- The nation of Myanmar is currently about to be investigated by its suspected crimes on the Rohingya people, an ethnic and religious minority in the said country. 2 sets of different investigations are being conducted, one from Orbanis and one from the Austro-Danubians, a major investor in the country's industrial development, almost accounting for $10-$17B dollars, the recent investment was for the construction of new 4 steel mills worth $7B Dollars. NAF and APN Improve Relation

In light of the instability of Europe, the Alliance of Pacific Nations and Orbanis have approached the North American Federation and have made strides both in terms of economics and diplomacy. In Economic terms, both nations have agreed to increase trade with one another, with the NAF supplying Oil and Titanium and the APN providing cars, ships, and computer systems. Diplomatically speaking the organizations have agreed to open all waters and ports in the Central Pacific to one another, allowing military vessels and aircraft to stop in any part of the central pacific for resupply, refuel, of R&R. These actions have strengthens ties between the two powers and has secured peaceful relations on both sides of the Pacific.

APN Votes for New Members

The APN Provisional Assembly voted today to allow the Marshall Islands into the APN and the final formalities will occur tomorrow to officially bring the island nation into the organization. However, to the dismay of the Solomon Islands the Assembly voted against their membership, instead siting that they could be an observer nation for now which give the nation economic benefits, but no military or financial support. This decision was made due to the nation's proximity to Australia to try not to spark any conflicts in the South Pacific. The Solomon's are unhappy with the decision and say that they will send in a new petition within the next week or so. Whether this will change the current standing is unclear.

Ado Presses Clear Vision Act

Following a public outcry concerning the military budget and the top secret Project L, the Orbanis Government has made a surprising announcement today. Prime Minister Ado has stated that earlier today the Clear Vision Act was passed, allowing the citizens to see the projects that Project L, now shown as Project Lancer, has accomplished. In a shock to the nation, the secret program was around since 1995 and had been given trillions in funding from taking part of the Debt Management funding that had been accounting for over a third of the government budget for the last 20 years. The exact number of projects and the financial extent of the program remains unknown as files are still being released but it appears that the project is still ongoing and producing more defensive and offensive weapons for Orbanis and the APN. CANBERRA- The Department of Budget and Finance recently gave its annual report regarding the finances of the country and the current situation of the market in front of the Reich Legislature House. Department Secretary Hezekiah Cunningham read from the main pulpit.

The current financial situation of Bendicion is becoming more and more dire. Here you can see the in this pie graph that our total revenue is sitting around the $420B mark, that may not be final since we are still analyzing the country's gains from the SEZ areas, which I am happy to report may amount to $50-60B dollars worth of exports. That is both a good thing and a bad thing ladies and gentlemen. Now look at this other pie graph. That is our current expenses, $450.6B dollars. That is just the tip of the iceberg, we still havent documented all those subsidies that the government had given to help the local industry and entice others from abroad. My rough estimate is that those subsidies will amount to a staggering $150B dollars, since more and more corporations from abroad and locally are setting up plants and corps all across Bendicion, especially those around the SEZ's. Now let's do the math sirs and mams. For our revenue we can pretty much get $480B dollars. Yey. But lets count the expenses. $450.6B dollars plus $150B dollars, minus the total revenue....how much? About 120B dollars in the red.And we're still spending. The Department of Budget and Finance is doing all means to help stabilize and at least minimize that red. So here I stand to give out my requests for us to avoid being in the red zone.

First of all, the national personal income tax should be raised from the the current averages of
9% for those with incomes between $18k to $37k,
22%,for those with incomes $37k to $87k
30% ,for those with incomes $87k to $180k
and 45%for those above $180k, derived from the varying income levels,
to 10%,ranging from $14k to $25K
24%,ranging from $26k to $86K
40%,ranging from $87k to $190K
and 49% for those incomes higher than $190k.
For those with incomes less than $14k, they are to be exempted granting that their total properties dont hover above $860,000.Otherwise they will be taxed at 5%.
This will greatly increase the total revenue from income taxes, with an increase from $201B to $350B dollars.Putting us closer to sealing out the red.

Second,the VAT must be increased from 10% to 12%. Consumer spending has increased dramatically, and the supplies are having a tough time coping up with the demand. If this keeps up, we might need to increase the VAT, not only for the revenue we can get from it, but also to help ease the rapid consumer spending the country is experiencing, otherwise the inflation rates will drastically rise as more and more people try buying limited items.We are currently at around 2.78 percent and its bound to be hitting the 5 percent mark sooner than expected.

Third, corporation taxes should be increased as well. I know this news might make business, especially small ones, to fear this announcement, but its not that hard. From 28% tax rate, we are trying to increase it to 30%. And as to note, SEZ's which have like 2% to 5% tax rates, mostly of which are resources bought from the country need to increase by a small amount, 3-5.5%. Small and micro enterprise are however still to just pay the 20% tax rate entitled to small and micro-enterprises. But if they are to have assets surpassing the maximum for a SMiE of $200,000, they will be taxed with 25%. This is really a small thing since the government subsidizes most of the corporations in the country.

Lastly, I just want the government to hear me out, especially you ladies and gentlemen to avoid reckless spending and acquire more investments from abroad to support local projects.With this request the DFM hopes to seal the red and perhaps increase revenues to help finance more projects of the government.

NTV Begins Extension of InterItalia High-Speed Rail Network To Grenoble, France- French Government Pledges To Pay Towards Reducing Government Deficit In Return

After the French government pledged an undisclosed sum to help pay off the Italian governments now decreasing deficit, the Italian government subsidised NTV, the owners of the InterItalia network, to connect Grenoble in France to the network after French request. The line will cut the 3 hour car journey from Turin to Grenoble through the alps to only 27 minutes at 220 MPH onboard Europe's fastest trains, NTV's Italo AGV's built by Pagani. The project will include two tunnels that shall be constructed so that the trains can travel through the alps as the track needs to be kept level to be able to achieve Europe's fastest train network. The cost of the project is unknown however NTV has said that "the rail network will bring significant economic benefits to both Italy and France as people will be able to travel from Southern Italy all the way to France in unprecedented time, and if the French government connects the Grenoble line to its own rail network Italy and France will have fully integrated rail networks with only a train change over in grenoble between each nations trains giving each nation endless economic benefits for tourism, commuters, businesses and more."

THE OTTOMAN Porte has allocated 20,000 of its troops for the Imperial Peace Corps which an analogue of the UN peace keepers. Janissary corps

AS a continuation of the recent Neo-Ottomanist reforms by the Porte, the new Janissary Corps were established. The new force will be very different from the original one- it will consist of 50,000 men and be separate from the Ottoman Armed Forces and under a different command, the Janissary Command which is part of the Royal Cabinet. They will serve as an intelligence service and anti-terrorism organization but some will be in government positions. Potential janissaries will be recruited from the Ottoman youth who are distinguished in their physical and intellectual performance.

TODAY, a new pro-western sultan was enthroned at the Topkapi Palace after a voluntary resignation of the previous Sultan Abdulmujib I; he explained his resignation to the press saying that he has done enough for the Empire and now it is the time for the new generation to improve the it. Looking to Space

With development occurring on the seabed and across both Japan and the Pacific, Orbanis is now looking to go upward into space. The nation has a strong technology sector allowing it to construct advanced craft and a strong sense in emerging technologies to press toward the future of space development. However, with the cancellation of JAXA, the former Space Program, Orbanis has little to no actual experience in space and its rocket technology is lacking making getting to space difficult. To overcome this, 30 Billion from the Public Works Budget will be put to the new Pacific Space Program (PSP) to create a reliable space program for the pacific. The 30 Billion will be going mostly toward the creation of three new launch and testing facilities in Okinawa, Sapporo, and Kyoto as well as developing reusable rockets. No set of goals have been announced by the PSP yet, but they are expected to include a satellite network and a possible space station.

The Marshall Islands Enters the APN

Today the Marshall Islands officially entered the Alliance of Pacific Nations with Prime Minister Ado and Hilda Heine, President of the Marshall Islands, meeting today in Tokyo to make the announcement. In the great halls of the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, the Austro-Danubian Emperor-in-waiting Martin von Habsburg-Lorraine, the Fregantes Emperor, and Ottoman Emperor Mustafa V met in secrecy to draft the idea of a new order that would reside over the Eastern Mediterranean. The leaders, with like-minded goals for the progress of their Imperial states, and with an utmost respect for the doctrines and well-being of the other's states, drafted a document that be the basis for the Imperial League.

The Imperial League, as it has been called, is an official declaration of friendship, partnership, and the formation of a prosperity sphere between the Austro-Danubian Empire, the Fregantes Empire, and the Ottoman Empire. The goal of the organization is to ensure that the these three Eastern Mediterranean powers work together in the ventures to come as a united organization. Plans for a massive railway project between the four nations, a free-trade policy, and preservation of a lasting and mature peace have been formed in the region.

The Imperial League will act as an international organization like the Democritus European Union, but doesn't wish to entangle itself into conflict with any other organization unless absolutely necessary.

An official Headquarters for the Imperial League will be established in the city of Istanbul, Former Constantinople, due to it being the Imperial center of the Eastern Roman Empire. All three Empires involved in the Imperial League hold characteristics to the great Empire that predated the Empires of today.

Along with the establishment of the Imperial League, the Imperial Peace Corps (IPC) have also been formed to protect the peaceful prosperity of the three great Imperial nationstates. The IPC will be used in joint operations between the Austro-Danubian Empire, the Fregantes Empire, and the Ottoman Empire. These joint missions are expected to occur rather frequently between the three nations, as the creation of the League has created a new faction that will see to its own agenda for the benefit of all of the members of the league.

The Austro-Danubian government has dispatched 20,000 soldiers to make up the first officially established corps of the IPC. They will serve alongside the recently dispatched 20,000 Ottoman soldiers, and the soon to be dispatched 20,000 Fregantes soldiers. The first official corp of the IPC will be made up of 60,000 soldiers from the three Imperial powers. Soldiers of the IPC will be marked as separate from any nation during peacekeeping operations with purple helms, similar to the light blue dawned by the former United Nations.

Their first task is to build a military base for the IPC near Istanbul on the Marmara Strait.

Czechoslovakia

In other brief news, the Austro-Danubian Empire has pulled back its soldiers from Czechoslovakia in concordance to the treaty that ended the Calin Civil War. With democratic elections taking place in the Calin state, the thousands of troops previously stationed to maintain the peace in Czechoslovakia are returning home.

Since the airing of the DEU-critical news story, support has been gathering behind your party and behind your cause. Could you please enlighten us on how such political revolution occurred?

Our political revolution hasn't just bloomed out of nowhere, it has been a long and painful disillusioning with the Ottoman Empire and its government. In Central Anatolia, we were the silent majority, and it took that one teleSUR story to project that fact that we are not alone on this matter. I've opposed to the DEU pipeline for a long while, my land was dug-up for their personal oil enrichment project, and my friends and family have had the same done to them. It is a re-occurring issue; all that which started once the Ottoman Empire gave into these western influences of free markets. The Farmer's union has protested the pipeline, however we need more than a few farmers standing up for their rights, they need an army of workers and willing volunteers behind them. Now, the Farmer's and Worker's United Party is going to run in the next elections, to stick the middle finger to Istanbul, to Berlin, and to Paris.

Aha, interesting perspective. What do you think about the new Sultan and his ideals?

The Sultan just doesn't understand. He's lived a life of absolute luxury, and has never been with the Ottoman working-class. So when he says that he is pro-westernisation of the Ottoman Empire, he is furthering his own elite interests, rather than the overall interests of the masses. If he cared for the Farmers here, he would order the immediate dismantling of the bloody pipeline. If he cared about us, he would end this neoliberal capitalist policy, and if he cared, he would invest money back into OUR economy. I have no idea what his economic beliefs are on the pipeline, and we have continually stressed this, that once the pipeline is active; Ottoman oil is dead in the water. I'm a farmer, and I know more than that buffoon, we sold our oil to Europe without competition. Now, Middle Eastern oil will start flooding in into the European markets. Giving us competition! We all know they have larger reserves than us, we can't compete with them!

What are you main policies as a party?

Well, as you've noticed, one of the largest is the digging up of the DEU pipeline. Another, is to invest into infrastructure, invest in the regions, introduce social programs to reduce poverty, exit the DEU. What else, nationalization of the major industries, increasing tax on multi-national corporations, banish the French military base, ban foreign corporations from buying property in the Ottoman Empire, introduce an 'Ottoman First' policy (where local landowners will be chosen over foreigners) and pursue equality at all chances.

What about your parties foreign policy?

Leave Europe. Close all connections to Europe. They are the last nations that we want as allies. The currently seek to exploit our markets, they previously attempted to declare war on us, which should be a clear indication that they're not good allies! Seek new links with South America, is another priority, after we stabbed Puertollano in the back. All of that nice stuff.

In other news the head Chairmen of the Volkswagen Group has announced a new structure reform of its factories, it has reported that this will only take place across factories and that all factories will receive new assignments based on a new structure meant to increase productivity and thus profit to everyone inside the companies. However it has also been reported that all factories also must delete prior and current blueprints from their database so each database will have enough space for their new assignments.

Budget Released!
The formal budget has been released to press, MPs, and ministers today. The document did announce large reforms to tax, including the reduction of small business taxes, corporation, and income taxes. A flat tax has replaced the previous income tax for working class families, while the benefits system is being reformed into a selection of social programmes. The government has reminded the British people that medical and educational services will remain free.
The public transport system has been reduced, and bus services are being sold to private industry. The efficient international rail networks of the Empire will remain nationalised and out of worker unions, for ease of travel. Prices for cargo will reduce, however long distance passenger travel will increase.

Oil Company in NAF purchased by French investors

A major oil company in the North American Federation has sold 50% of their shares to a French collective, it has been reported. Although the exact details of the sale, including the sale's price, are secret due to French law it is known that the company is a major exporter of oil to Metropolitan French petroleum distributors. The new French investors have issued a statement announcing that no jobs will be lost as a result of this purchase deal, with no intention of replacing Americans with Europeans as the experience of the current staff is "highly valued by us". Union conditions will not be impacted upon negatively in any way.

Agricultural Sector rally in Paris

With the French-proposed 'Prosperous Farming Zone' being implemented as part of the DEU's Internal Market, there has been a large gathering in the capital of the Sixth Republic by those employed in the industry in order to show support for the PFZ. Hundreds took to the streets near the Parliament buildings to show their support for the government and DEU. "These new subsidies will help make our processes more efficient, and also attract new employment opportunities to the sector," one individual said, while economists have also lauded the boost to the confidence (and also government coffers) of the economy following the end to the recent war in the East. German Investigators Release Official Report on the Domestic Terrorist

The Official Police Report has been released by the Berlin Police Department about the Terrorist named Agustine Schmidt who killed 103, 83 passing away at the crime scene while another 30 died within the week that followed from their injuries. In addition another 163 were wounded, however since 161 have been checked out of the hospital with one more still in stable condition and another inside a medically induced coma.

Police have confirmed that Agustine was indeed a member of the German Communist Party, and was a radical anti-government member, however he had mostly slipped unnoticed until his interview with TeleSur the day before. Investigators believe that those momentarily fame was what pushed him to attacking the Police Station. This has been confirmed through Journal Entries, Social Media and multiple family members claiming him to be "extreme with his radical views" which forced many to distance the self from him including both his parents and his sister.

However nobody on social media, in the government or in the news is directly blaming TeleSur and most saying TeleSur had no way of knowing the impact of their interview.

In addition Shoemaker has also announced a day or mourning will happen every October 3rd to remember the worst shooting in German history.

As Purtollano and TeleSur are spreading their presence in central Anatolia, the grand vizier Rejap Erdogan made an official visit to one of the biggest farming villages near Ankara. He discussed the challenges the farming industry is having and how the new deals with the DEU will serve as a solution to the farmers.

"Europe and the Ottoman Empire have realized that with closer cooperation, there can be a great success. Our dream has finally come true - you all have been finally recognized as an equal part of Europe! So do not listen to the instigators and let us continue our work to improve our country."

New parties

In the wake of the sword-girding of the new head of state, a season of party registration has begun. More than a dozen of parties have registered to be a part of the Ottoman Parliament (Council of Unity and Progress) and build the future for future generations. State Unity is one of the new political parties; it aims to defend the rights of Christian minorities throughout the Ottoman Empire. Armenian Dawn is another political party whose goal is to represents the rights of Ottoman Armenians. Al Fatat Al Arabiyah, or the Arab Youth, is an Arab-based party which represents the interests of Syrians and other Arabs in the Empire. And of course the mysterious Workers' and Farmers' Union supported by Puertollano who were described as anti-European, agrarian, and pro-Puertollanan.
But the biggest party in the government remains the party of the royal family and Rejap Erdogan, AK Parti which has over 50% of the seats.

After the masses of ministers, government workers, and by-standers have completed the congregational prayer at the Hagia Sofia mosque, Mustafa V stood on the mosque's pulpit and began addressing his subjects.

"We have a huge responsibility to be exemplary citizens of our beloved country. The early nomads dreamed of making the Ottoman State a "shining city" on a coast and have sacrificed a lot while striving for that dream. Indeed, we are honored to be able to carry on their dream developing their idea of an exemplary and just state and be able to keep improving our homeland as a unified force under one Ottoman banner. Gunman opens fire in Palestinian cafe. Many wounded. 5 dead.
It has just been reported that a cafe in the State of Palestine was just attacked by a lone gunman. During lunch hours a man armed with has been reported to be a sub-machine gun entered the cafe and began firing into the people gathered. He was reported to have been yelling "Traitors to the true Palestine and traitors to Islam!" Atleast 15 people have been hurt and 5 have been confirmed dead. Local police quickly arrived on the scene and entered a shoot out with the gunman, killing him but leaving one officer wounded. Zackarothian counter terrorists officials are on the way to investigate the attack to see if this was a lone wolf attack or part of an organization.

The state of Palestine is the newest state to enter the Zackarothian Republic and has been a cause of friction between the nation of Palestine, which is now only the Gaza Strip, and Zackaroth. The nation of Palestine's government is upset that the former West Bank joined Zackaroth and that Zackaroth accepted their membership. Some even claim Zackarothian spies rigged the vote but such claims have been unfounded.

With tourist demand and an increasing overseas market, the Green Belt Program was able to successfully open 76 national parks and sea heritage sites for the tourist's enjoyment, not only this but the program helped cut the rates of deforestation in the country and decrease the levels of heavy metals in several waterways, saving the government billions of wastewater treatment. Constant advertisement of the proper way of disposal of garbage has lead to many cities improving air quality and tourist influx. With this social interaction, the government was able to establish an exchange program overseas for its most gifted students to learn new ways as well as tell others of the Bendian way. Within time, these students will bridge the gaps seperating various cultures from that of Bendicion.

Truly economic growth has shaped the way Bendicion has expanded, and with this economic strength comes many problems. TeleSur exclusive interview with Hold The Line French Anti-DEU Pipeline group

We now bring you live from Paris, with our French correspondent Leonard LeChari.

Hello, and thank you Daniel. I'm here with the remarkable and very stereotype challenging, French Environmentalist group called Hold The Line, who are opposed to the DEU pipeline that streaks across the length of the European continent. I'm here with one of their key organisers, Jean. Can you tell us Jean, what is your groups aim?

Our aim is simple, and it should be seen as very, very simple. We are a group vehemently opposed to the DEU pipeline for its environmental adversities, and it is appalling that this was even approved by the DEU. Hold The Line is a strictly non-political affiliated organisation, our first priorities are with the environment, and we are just glad to have the air time that we honestly deserve. The Line needs to be put on hold, turn off the tap; the oil must stop flowing. That's number one. Number two, fix the environments that have been overturned by the pipeline and save Europe's dying forestation and dying wildlife. We believe that there will become a stage when Europe won't be home to the worlds animals, it'll just be home to the worlds rich oil pigs.

Very interesting. I'm sure you're facing pushback from the French Government and other national governments that are fully supportive of the tragedy that is the DEU pipeline. May I ask, how are you actively campaigning against the pipeline?

We have environmental camps spawning across Europe, from the Ottoman Empire to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. For every day that the oil continues to drain into Europe, every day we will continue to pressure the pipeline. We have protestors at every corner, and we're spreading information to nearby towns or villages of the pipeline to campaign and educate them on the dangers of having oil pipelines close to your homes. We have human shields planned to prevent any further construction of the pipeline, and we have plans to conduct protests in the capitals of all nations that allow the pipeline to continue.

What are the dangers of the DEU oil pipeline?

Right. The dangers are of an accident. Last year alone, 220 major pipeline leakage incidents occurred across the world. That's 220 incidents of major damage to their local environments, and it is actually a death note to the local environments. And in those 220, many were 'modern' pipelines still, so I wouldn't listen to that argument that they are safe just because they're newly built. Further, there has been a recent spike in pipeline 'accidents', and there is no way we can trust the DEU pipeline than any others.

This is a very honourable cause you are fighting for Jean. I hope you and your organisation spreads the word and spreads some awareness about this pipeline.

DEU's attempt to appease Farmers: "Here take this money & be quiet".

What we can only see as an attempt at rebuttal, to quieten the recently outspoken farmers in the Ottoman Empire, the DEU has promised to blast funds at the agricultural sector to appease the increasingly disillusioned farmers of the entirety of Europe. It is through the power of the Workers and Farmers United Party, alongside TeleSur that this Issue has been noticed and acted upon; forcing Paris to accept that the majority of the DEU budget will be spent on the agricultural sector. WE didn't have the chance to speak with Rafa Ozman again on this, but his team has labelled the program as 'obviously helpful' but was 'a twisted-arm move by the DEU to keep our noise down, they basically said; here take this money and be quiet' That is some serious words coming from Ozman and the Party, however they have also been cynical of the program, stating that 'it could be used to increase Europe's combined monopoly over our agriculture', and his statements have strong backing. This seems as though it's a classical attempt to pay off the poor to stop criticizing the DEU, and a mimicking of TeleSur too! As TeleSur was the original organisation to donate to the farmers, it seems as though the DEU leadership cannot come up with its own ideas.

To help the real strugglers from the DEU pipeline, TeleSur will announce a program to pay for all farms damaged by the pipeline, instead of an economic deal to favour the rich and the monopolists. After we re-cultivate all land for those who had damaged pastures, we will also pay for a complimentary sign, that stands at 4 meters tall that can either read: "Hold The Line", "Stop DEU pipeline", "Farmers support our own land, not the DEU", "Our land was stolen" and a more blatant "F*** off, DEU".
