The Polish Republic: What Happened?

For nearly two years, since the supposed resignation of the former President of the Socialist Eastern European States, Ntalia Kraszanka, The Polish Republic struggled to spread and maintain its influence inside the Eastern European states, causing anarchy, chaos, and disorder in the nation. Cities, as major as Kraków, received little law enforcement, and no local government. Often being run by criminal organizations. Even experiencing an all time European low of 9% murder clearance rate throughout the nation. Public schools ceased operations, only the rich received food, water, and medical rations, and even the soldiers who left Poland to fight for peace in Nigeria defected to the Nigerian Socialist Republican Army. The country was such in a bad shape, that according to a journalist of an anonymous news network, "Raids, murders, burglaries, drug dealing and use, and even rapes in broad daylight was very much rampant and common. It was literally hell on earth." Trusted news sites declared the country "The Worst Country in Europe", with some even moving one step forward and naming Poland as "The Worst Nation in Modern History."

But on the year 2019, the government decided to take action. On January 2019, martial law was reinstated, and according to the government of the Republic, was "Completely justified since police officials refuse to fight crime or are too undermanned or underpowered to do so." A few months later, the government started rebuilding homes for the millions of displaced and squatting families, jobs were made, and the Polish Police Force was reestablished. And by the final months of 2019,
the nation was back on its feet and the Republic said it was time to hold elections, which will take place in the 25th of November.

Regarding the elections, 6 people will run for presidency, There were supposed to be 8 people running for presidency but both of them, which has something to do with communism and socialism, were declared as "Nuisance Candidates".

For the sake of Poland's future, we will describe who will be the candidates for the elections.

ASD Design Frenzy

ASD International has seen a massive success in both the military and commercial sector from their submarine designs, and now they are preparing the next wave. With the MF-9 already announced and in development since early last year, the company has also revealed that it will be designing a faster and much longer ranged subcraft for the purposes of engaging other subfighters only. This is on top of the plans to develop the first sub-bomber and a new long range shuttlecraft. In terms of ships a successor to the Orient class is currently being drawn up and a new subcarrier design is on the drawing board. This subcarrier will be an 'escort', being much smaller and cheaper then her full sized counterparts. No other details on this craft are available at this time. There are also rumors of a successor to the I-500 class but that has not been confirmed.

Civilian Sector Booming

When New Tokyo was taken over by the government many flet that the project was doomed to be mothballed and failed, but to the surprise of all the colony is turning into a economic hotspot. 75% of the facility has been repaired and is operational and marine commerce has returned to the area, creating a new port of call for the submarine freights and a destination for tourists. The military commander of the colony has received praise from his supervisor calling the turnaround "Just the thing the R.E.Z. needed". Thats not the only source of good news for underwater development as mining within the REZ has now reached a net worth of 500 Billion from 243 mines with mines in Micronesia, Kiribati, and The Marshall Islands contributing around 20 Billion each with only 50 mines spread out between them. More mines and proposals for colonies have been flooding the government to the point where the Assembly is now exploring options to extend its Maritime Claims on the local seabed to continue to charge the civilian economy.

France and Japan Make a Deal

Earlier today the Japanese and French Governments made a historic deal for the development of the colony of French Polynesia. The archipelago has been in French hands since the colonial era and since then has been a minor port of call and a small military outpost. Japan hopes to change that. The two nations came up with a lease agreement that gave Japan a 15 year lease on the over a dozen uninhabited islands within the colony and gave Japan development rights for the seabed to build 180 mines, a traffic control center, loading docks, and a C-LNK network for the region over a 15 year period. To do this Japan has established the Polynesia Economic Zone (PEZ) to coordinate the construction efforts. The governments have agreed to give 60% of all mining income to France and 40% to Japan in exchange for the Island access and development. The multi-billion dollar deal has expected profits exceeding a trillion from the mining operations on the seabed by the end of the 15 year period. This will turn Polynesia from a backwater colony to an economic powerhouse and will help bolster relations between Japan and France.

HOBART - ACHEUS Military Service Provider recently launched its new line of heavy military transports in the annual Hobart Military Export. The new C-20 plane, also nicknamed the 'Albatross' is a heavy lift transport capable of flying 5,200km. The plane can carry at maximum more than 350 soldiers in a paletized system. About 10 C-20 Albatrosses are already in service with the Australian military, with plans to station them in Balabac, Gwandar and Norfolk Island as the planes hold the capability to transport huge numbers of soldiers 945km per hour at max. The planes are already candidates for a new variant of attack support planes that are similar to the American AC-130.

AMSP also announced that the Australian military now had the capability to launch long range ICBM missiles with the introduction of its new RIM/L Ozone II ICBMs that are either mobile and silo launched. The missiles are reportedly able to reach hypersonic speeds that renders current ABM technology at a huge disadvantage. Rumours have speculated that 1 RIM Ozone II launcher has been sent to station in one of the many overseas bases of Australia. Australia pours investments into Imperial Mali and Morocco

A surge of Australian investments has directly led to dozens of construction projects in Mali

DAKAR - With the opening of trade and direct invitation of the Imperial government of Mali for Australian investments, more than 50 private and AusGroup corporations entered the Mali market to tap valuable cheap labor as well as develop the country's mining and infrastructure sectors.

AusGroup giant TransGen Inc was granted an exclusive 10 year lease to Dakar Northern Port in which to build a new 3 dockyard shipyard. The new shipyard will be put under TransGen Mali and will be able to build ships as big as 100,000 DWT and will be utilizing 1,825 local engineers and professionals as labor. The shipyard is expected to construct close to 5 to 7 ships annually and earn close to $2.64B. The construction of the shipyard will be needing huge amounts of steel in which in a TransGen Inc has invested in the construction of 7 new steel building plants in southern Dakar and will hire close to 1,500 workers with the main goal of producing steel for the shipyard as well as in export markets in Africa notably NSRA.

World leading communications and net service provider, Argus was given the honor to bring Mali new power communications infrastructure and faster internet with 5G services. The company will establish new facilities in Dakar and will be working closely with the local sectors to establish a potential information technology sector that could outmatch anything in West Africa.

Helios III will also be investing in Mali's energy and research in development. Mali will be home to a huge solar farm in the Sahara Desert and will be supplying renewable energy to the government for far less expensive price than common fossil fuels. The company is also in works for the opening of a new Holden Electric Car corporation and will be sponsoring 400 new schools and universities for brand new jobs in the R&D sector.

Other private companies from Australia have also invested in mining industries for gold, iron ore and titanium. A number have invested in fishing industries as well as helping local craftsmen to market their products. Private Oil corporation, Carnarvon Petroleum Ltd , have also gained contracts from the Mali government to open 8 new oil platforms off Senegal and Mauritania, of which more than hundreds of local workers will be hired and will give the national government of Senegal a 30% share of all incomes generated.

CANBERRA - The ever dashing Jessica Dinesen has announced that she will be resigning from her position as the Australian representative to the Coalition of Sovereign Nations, according to a report from Inside.com. Dinesen's last official message to the CSN was during the voting for the Italian proposal in which she gave the government's response in favor of the proposal. She was remembered by many of her colleagues and staff personnel as both serious, charismatic and understanding. She was the only female representative of a Great Power and by far the youngest and most attractive to news cameras and media.

After more than 2 years as the Australian representative and after several messages and proposals, the 23 year old Jessica Dinesen will be stepping from her position due to her upcoming marriage with AusGroup businessman Mr. Michael Grant,25, after a relationship of 5 years , on December 31, in time for New Years Eve celebration.

Military announces tests at new military base in Socotra

The Zackarothian Military released a statement today they would be conducting non-munitions tests near the new military base on the island of Socotra. They gave no indication of what they where testing and any attempts to question officials have either been met with silence or reports of the test being classified. Its been reported French jets have been buzzing the island, sparking some fears among the islands small civilian populace. The military has assured people that the tests are not dangerous and no live munitions are being used.

Socotra is an important military base and airfield that just finished construction a month ago. The island only has a small population of 50,000 people and is considered a part of the state of Yemen. The military base was approved by former High Leader Abdullah and formalized and placed under construction by High Leader Akram two years ago.

Start-Up Magella Demo Finished

With the Start-Up Magella Demo finished a couple days ago, all candidates for membership into one of the programs have now been notified of their status. Since, for this year, participants are only being allowed into the S-Factory and Seed Programs, only around one hundred twenty-eight applicants were accepted overall. After visiting the demo for the entire week, here are three of the accepted candidates that I found interesting.

ANDRE BROESSEL - S-Factory - A new type of solar power generator with decreased size and cost, along with increased range (able to absorb power even from the moon or on cloudy days), power output, and usability. It consists of a large glass sphere, filled with water, which focuses the sun's rays onto a small PV panel. The panel is connected to a dual axis tracking system, able to rotate around the sphere to capture the focused ray as the sun moves throughout the sky during the day.

BARTHOLOMEW HENDERSON - Seed Program - A drone technology that combines solar power with AI. These drones are about the size of a regular commercial drone, considered quadcopters. However, the top of them are covered with solar panels, while the bottoms are fitted with cameras and sensors. Onboard AI takes care of navigation, thanks to the information it receives from the drone's cameras and sensors. It is equipped with rechargeable batteries, and must be charged after every flight. While the solar power is able to recharge the batteries, simultaneous use of the cameras and sensors, AI, and propellers drain the batteries faster than the power cells can recharge them, so the drones are not capable of continuous flight, instead limited to flights lasting half an hour to an hour.

JUAN JARA - Seed Program - A way to more efficiently create composite metal foams using 3D-printers. These composite metal foams (CMFs) are much, much stronger than their solid metal counterparts, while weighing much, much less. Depending on makeup, the CMFs can more effectively shield from radiation or heat, and have proved to be very effective in armor.

Bogota has sent a clear message today: there will be no election held on the Federation of Nativist Islands. While under the temporary occupation of the National Bolivarian Armed Forces of Puertollano, Puertollano has officially commented that no vote will occur, either for the position of Governor, or for a referendum concerning independence status. CSN Ambassador, Nicolas Maduro spoke to the media concerning this decision by the Puertollanoan Government in Iceland. "We will not bow down to this ruling authorised by the European super-majority," Maduro said. "There is a state of war in the Caribbean, and such circumstances are not fit for an electoral campaign, for either 'Governor' or a referendum." Maduro justified this by commenting, "during the period of the second world war, Britain needed to solidify its stability by temporarily restricting several democratic liberties. HOBART - For the 4th time for the year 2019-2020 ACHEUS once again showed in its annual military expo in Hobart Tasmania a brand new line of military vehicles that have been under development for several years. The 2 vehicles are products of Epyris' Project Beta and Project Chieftain and are armored vehicles designed for fast and far reaching operations, which is clearly what the Australian Army is in need for.

Another new asset brought to show by ACHEUS is the new hypersonic Vector missiles which can be attached to new lead fighter jets as well as some bombers. The Vector missile is not yet in active service with the military, as initial development of the missile was delayed by more than a month.

ACHEUS recently stated that there are already 2 more new projects being undertaken by the company and that there still is about $30B dollars left in the initial budgets being given by the government for such undertakings.

Australia and Spain conduct military exercises

Australian soldiers take part in Operation 'Iberia' as Australian presence enters the Atlantic theater

MADRID -About 30 naval ships and a total of 14,000 troops from Australia and Spain conducted military exercises in the Canary and Azores Islands for a period of 5 days. Some 10 ships from Australia's Pacific Fleet rounded Africa's Cape of Good Hope in order to join the military exercises dubbed "Operation Iberia"

Of the 10 ships, 4 were Northcott class destroyers and 1 Hobart class destroyer. The rest of the ships were accompanied by 2 Canberra class amphibious assault ships and 1 support ship. The 2 Canberra class ships harbored 3 A109 Agusta Westland helicopters and 8 FA-19N naval Falcon fighters each. About 5,000 Australian soldiers, mostly stationed from Bulgaria joined along with 10 MBT-18 Williams Tanks, 50 Bushmasters and 10 AH-17 Raider Attack helicopters.

The opening of the exercises started with an amphibious landing in the Canary islands that saw 6,000 soldiers from Spain and Australia landing in wave after wave in coordination with aerial support and naval artillery bombardments.This will be followed by the next day by both nations air forces conducting precision strikes, undergoing simulated dogfights utilizing drones and fast insertion of marines into 'enemy' ships. The navies will also be showing off its long range missile capabilities within the week.

No statements have been given whether or not Australia's underwater sea squadrons will take part.

Over the course of the exercise, both nations will focus on helping each other in order to increase cooperation and tactical efficiency in amphibious, aerial and naval operations all the while helping create stronger relations between Spain and Australia . About 5000 Spanish soldiers have seen combat alongside their Australian counterparts in Nigeria. About 500 soldiers have remained with Australian troops since Spain pulled out its forces.

Government executes authority over Cape Thetis government by aligning income tax with that of metropolitan Italy to achieve budget surplus

Today the government confirmed that it has overruled the devolved government of Cape Thetis in order to raise income tax levels from the territory's current 8% flat rate up to the metropolitan flat rate of 12%. The Italian government has said that the extra funds raised will result in a budget surplus across Italy and its territories, which has rallied huge support for the overruling in metropolitan Italy and Il Desiderio but Cape Thetis residents have a more mixed view, with some happy that it will result in a budget surplus for the country, but others feeling that "Cape Thetis has become central government's cash cow".

The government has said that whilst it understands that Cape Thetis residents and the devolved Cape Thetis government may not be happy about the tax increases, but say that in the long run it will work out better for the country as a whole and that the budget surplus achieved by this tax alignment will allow for the next government budget to increase overall and austerity will be end.

Cape Thetis governor, Luigi Binelli Mantelli, has not yet commented on the governments action, however an official of the Government of Cape Thetis stated that "The Government of Cape Thetis is prepared to liaise with the Agenzia delle Entrate with the matter of the increase of income tax." No one from the Government of Cape Thetis has commented on the issue apart from several officials who simply stated the official message with different words, and would not give a personal option or the opinion of the Government of Cape Thetis.

Central government clarified to the press that it has the full right and authority to overrule the government of Cape Thetis and that it was not acting unconstitutionally as some journalists suggested. A spokesperson from central government did however say that the Government of Cape Thetis does have the right to appeal to the supreme court if it wishes, but that it would be highly unlikely that the court would rule in favour of the Government of Cape Thetis.

WARRI - After several days of clearing up the city's streets and ensuring that all HNA forces were now out, the Australian Army moved its base of operations from the already crowded Forcados Perimeter to the more infrastructure benefited city of Warri. The move came as a big move in order to bring the command center, communications center as well as supply depots much closer to the frontlines while also utilizing roads and highways that are vital to faster movement of troops.

The new base will field about 55 hectares of land just to the south of the main city center, with about 30-50 new buildings that will be built using more than 500 to 750 local laborers and some 1,000 Scops. An enemy army significantly outnumbering the Iranian force, almost of Turkish nature, was "wiped out" as the skill and power of our forces was on clear display. The new representative of the 2nd Australian delegation to the Coalition of Sovereign Nations will be Stephanie Marianne C. Beckett. The youngest of 3 children of Bethany Louise Cobain of South Australia and Timothy Van Beckett from Victoria, the 29 year old has European roots, with her mother being half Swedish, half Danish and her paternal grandmother being from Russia. She has 1 older brother and sister. She studied her elementary and secondary education in Melbourne and eventually studied Business Administration at Yale University before proceeding to enter law school. She graduated with cum laude honors and returned to Australia and established a business firm and law firm in Melbourne with the help of her elder sister. She was chosen as a potential candidate by city's council due to her credentials and management expertise albeit fresh from law school.

Her appointment has been met with much anticipation as the media with her charming photogenic personality to the media. The Adelaide 36ers win their 5th NBL Champions after 17 years

PERTH - The Adelaider 36ers are now the 2019 NBL Champions after dethroning the 3 time defending champions Perth Wildcats in a heated 6 games. 36ers star Daniel Johnson led the series in scoring, with 28.4 points per game.

The Adelaider 36ers came into the NBL season ranked 4th overall in the power rankings, but was quickly rose their positions after a nice 4-0 run, whilst beating then champions Wildcats 109-99 in the 3rd game. The 36ers managed to have a 10-4 record through half their games. By the time the teams entered the playoffs the 36ers managed to win 18 games for the first time since the 2013-2014 NBL season in which they managed to make their way to the NBL finals against the Perth Wildcats in which they lost in 3 games with a 93-59 blowout in game 3.

The 36ers made headway in the NBL playoffs by finishing off the Melboune United in a 4 game sweep with Johnson and Creek leading with a 22.0 and 18.3 pts per game. The Wildcats meanwhile dispatched in Illawara Hawks in a grueling 6 game series.

The two teams met in one of the most anticipated rematch games in Australian basketball history in Game 1 of the series but the 36ers suprisingly lost 97-91 with 18 turnovers. Game 2 of the series saw Creek exploding to a 36 point, 13 ast and 10 rebound performance which routed the Wildcats even with Bryce Cotton putting up 28 points by 122-105. Game 3 of the series went into overtime after a 88-88 regular time draw, the 36ers were able to win after a daring game winning buzzer by Johnson to up the score 96-94. Game 4, with the series at home and a 2-1 advantage, the 36ers were able to win again with a commanding effort from their reserves who scored 55 points. The Wildcats were able to win Game 5 with a 6 point lead but the 36ers dispatched the defending champions once the series went back to Adelaide at a score of 110-104.

The win gave the 36ers their first championship after 17 years and ultimately ended the championship streak of the Wildcats for 3 straight years and 4 championships in 5 years.

Australia continues to be a popular holiday destination for millions of tourists

SYNDEY -More than 1 million tourists entered the country from September to December as the holiday season slowly began. About 11.57 million tourists entered the country for the entire 2019 and helped employed 840,000 people and generated $64.39B worth of revenue for the country that accounts for roughly 3.0% of the country's GDP.

The sudden arrival of tourists comes as the holiday season sets in and the incoming new year celebrations begin to kick up night life and events in Australia, especially cities such as Adelaide, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney. Statistics from the Australian Ministry of Tourism has more than 2.8M tourists currently within the Sydney-Adelaide-Gold Coast areas with about 760,000 tourists in Sydney alone.

A great deal of tourists come from the United States which account for 39% of total tourists, followed by 30% from Europe and 20% from Asia(mainly China, Japan, The Philippines and India) while the rest are from South America and Africa. This is the 3rd time around that tourists from the United States have been one of the largest tourist groups for Australia, while the Asian group had seen a 6% increase while European tourists plunged by 8%.

Notable events include the Grand Australian Prix, the Melbourne Grand Fair, several sports game finals/ championships, Sydney Fashion Week as well as the Sydney Harbour Fireworks Exhibition to celebrate the new year. Migrant vessel carrying 321 Nigerians intercepted in the Mediterranean by Italian navy

This afternoon an Italian navy Comandanti-Class Corvette intercepted a Nigerian migrant vessel in the Mediterranean which is believed to have left from Libya. On passing by the migrant vessel to assess roughly how many migrants were on the vessel ITS Foscari unintentionally caused the migrant vessel to capsize from the wake of the naval vessel passing by. The navy confirmed that 23 of the 321 migrants on board the capsized vessel were killed during its sinking, all corpses have been recovered and stored on ITS Foscari.

After all 321 migrants, dead and alive, were loaded onto ITS Foscari, central government gave orders to the ship to sail to Forcados, a CSN stronghold within Nigeria, and unload the 321 corpses and migrants onto the beach at Forcados, where the migrants will be left to their own devises and the corpses will be buried by Italian navy personnel assisting in the unloading of the migrants. Personnel onboard ITS Foscari have been outfitted in their CBRN uniform over fears that the migrants may carry anthrax from the deadly Nigerian war, however unlikely it may be.

This is the first Nigerian migrant boat that has been intercepted in the Mediterranean by the Italian navy since the previous Nigerian war when a small number of vessels also attempted to cross to Italy, but all were intercepted and returned to Libya to be detained. The strong policy of sending migrants all the way back to Nigeria is being conducted by the government in order to show to other potential crossers that illegal migration will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Millennial SJW's in Milan have called the government's actions "inhumane" and call for "a darker-skinned Italy", even claiming to have leaked audio footage from onboard ITS Foscari of men, women and children crying and shaking after being told by naval officers that they are heading back to Nigeria for them to be unloaded, however the legitimacy of the audio clip is disputed as many claim that it would not be possible to receive the leaked audio so soon and that it is easy to stage an audio clip.

Italian Navy causes Nigerian refugee vessel to sink; many dead

Coming in live from Naples, Italy, reporter Peter du Silva will inform us of this recent tragic event to occur in the Mediterranean. Peter, what exactly is happening and what is the reaction from the people of italy?

What exactly happened, well, it is one of the most prominent afflictions to refugees that has occurred in a very long time. There was a boat full of Nigerian refugees, attempting to bring their families to the 'safe' and 'stable' Europe. There were 321 refugees on board in a desperate clamber to rebuild their lives, especially after the Italian Government used chemical weapons against their people. If their suffering were not bad enough, it is reported that the Italian Navy hit the vessel, most probably on purpose, causing the vessel to capsize. Men, women and children were left escaping the ship as it sunk. Unfortunately today we are remembering the deaths of 23 refugees, killed by the sinking ship. As if the Government of Italy haven't inflicted enough civilian casualties in Nigeria, all this does is rub salt in the wounds. The reaction by the youth has been outstanding in Italy; protesting this obvious anti-Immigrant administration and their indifference to the death of innocent people. From what I have heard from people in Naples, there is also a sense that the current Prime Minister is a simple racist. I quote from one protester; "Why does this evil Witch find it appropriate that we bomb and use chemical weapons against the Nigerian people and then refuse to accept any of the refugees that we created?" That isn't even half of it, another protester told me, stating; "We ram their boats if they ever try to flee war too, then we ship them back to the quagmire of death." These comments are very striking and are telling of the youth outrage against the current administration. What is particularly interesting is that during the first Nigerian Civil War, the Italian Government was completely content with stealing the national artifacts of Nigeria that mattered to their culture, but they're not content with accepting war-fleeing refugees. Where is the justice? Nowhere in Italy. It's remarkable today that TeleSur is allowed to stand here, not long ago our voice was censored in the nation.

President Mariastella Gelmini calls out teleSUR slander and accuses network of attacking women in politics

Today president Gelmini responded to slander from teleSUR which claimed that the Italian state and the president herself are racist after a Nigerian migrant vessel accidentally capsized, killing 23 migrants. Following this, the migrants were loaded onto ITS Foscari which is currently sailing back to Nigeria to unload the 321 intercepted migrants. Claims from teleSUR that the capsizing was deliberate has been branded by the president and Italian media as "unforgivably deceitful slander being used to influence the people of Il Desiderio, who are currently being occupied by Puertollanoan military forces until the end of conflict in the Americas."

President Mariastella Gelmini has described herself as someone who "doesn't see colour, only merit" and says that claims she is racist or a 'closet racist' are complete slander and have ruined teleSUR's reputation among the majority of Italians who are not millennial SJW's "who would rather accept lies that support their agenda than the truth." With the major soccer league in Australia coming to an end, the training camp dubbed,"Camp Gold", for the World Cup 2022 has officially opened with the top 48 players being selected by a combined panel of sports analysts, experienced coaches, trainers and fitness instructors to participate in the said prestigious training camp. Meanwhile about 177 players for the U-20, and U-17 championships were selected to participate in training pools across the country.

New Bulgarian Naval Fleet Unveiled in Varna

The Royal Navy has unveiled its new Destroyer Fleet to compete against other powers in the Black sea. In a Naval Parade in Varna, the First Fleet showed off its military prowess. The First Fleet's Flagship BRS - Drazki commandeered by Admiral Stanislav Tankov. Following the First Fleet's Flagship are two Frigate BRS - Gordi and Verni. After the Sister Ships, Five Minesweeper vessels follow them.

The Royal Navy then unveiled the New Australian Ordered Vessels built in TransGen shipyards delivered early January. BREAKING: French Confederation declares WAR on ICN

In a shock announcement, President Dutoit has declared war against the ICN faction only an hour following the passing of the French-authored Nigerian Crisis Resolution Proposal II (NCRPII). The proposal ended the CSN's mandate in Nigeria, however now it appears that it was a stunning power move by the Sixth Republic to remove the personnel restrictions imposed by the CSN's Operation Lagos. President Dutoit gave a strong denunciation of the CSN in his address before the full Parliament;

Operation Pumaman- COC confirms it carried out cyberattack on ICN communications networks after dissolution of CSN operations in Nigeria

Today COC announced that it had successfully launched a cyberattack against the ICN's communication networks, stating that "we have successfully targeted the ICN's limited communications network which was one of the least secure we have ever come across, allowing us to take down their network until they replace antenna's and satellite dishes." Due to COC's clandestine operations they are not legally required to disclose how they conduct their attacks for national security and operation secrecy reasons however the suggestion that their network has been physically damaged points to the likelihood that a Stuxnet-style attack has been conducted by COC.

This action from COC comes almost immediately after the passing of the Nigerian Crisis Resolution Proposal II, which disbanded the CSN operation in Nigeria and just after the fresh French declaration of war against the ICN. Many believe that this was simply an opportunity for COC to test their capabilities in the field as they were simply in the right place at the right time, when COC was asked if the attack was just to test their abilities they declined to respond. The fact that COC has publicly stated that they were responsible for the attack also suggests that the operation was a test.

When the Ministry of Defence was asked whether it authorised the attack, a spokesperson said "The Ministry of Defence does not authorise or dictate every action COC takes, as this would be needlessly bureaucratic and could compromise operational secrecy, the Ministry of Defence only issues commands to COC when it wants a specific task carried out, or if another government department needs information that only COC can gain." This has become a matter of concern to some members of the public who claim that the current arrangement gives too much power to COC. When asked about this issue COC predictably refused to respond.

1st Submarine Expo

Today ASD International hosted an event that they are calling the 1st Submarine Exhibition, or SubX as it is being commonly called. The event was a joint venture between the current submarine manufacturing companies within Japan to find a way to announce their products to the general population, both military and civilian. The participants at the event are Japan Maritime United (JMU), Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI), Mishubishi Motors (MM), Advanced Submersible Design International (ASD), and newcomer Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES). These five companies hosted the event at ASD's Yokohama Submarine Development Center where they displayed both subfighters, full scale submarines in dry-dock, concept models, and future plans. The following are the highlights from the event:

Japan Maritime United is the nation's 2nd largest shipbuilding company and the largest submarine construction company in Japan. They focus on creating large-scale submarines for the fleets of the commercial industry and the military and have recently been given control of three of the dry-docks at the Abyss Naval Shipyard in Okinawa. That being said it is no surprise the JMU has unveiled a new type of submarine: the Kyoto Class Escort Carrier.

The Kyoto is a midway point between a submarine cruiser and a full fledged subcarrier. Weighing in at 25,000 tons and measuring at 160 meters the craft comes standard with the signature thorium reactor present on other Japanese ships along with a pocketed hull. Unlike other subcarriers, this ship has a ventrally mounted 'runway' that will open up to launch and receive subfighters and bring them directly to the hanger which can hold 30 small submersibles. This design is lacking the instant ramp launch seen on other Japanese models and the quick catapult, instead using two mag-cranes to drop and retrieve craft. The vessel is capable of reaching speeds of 32 knots and can conduct precise maneuvering due to a installed jet-nozzle system. The escort is armed with four forward torpedo tubes, three aquaguns, and two stern tubes, making it a lightweight terms of armament for its size. This is due to nearly 45% of the ship being hanger space. The price for each of these will be 4 Billion per unit and they are available for purchase now.

Ever since the creation of the MF-2 Seawolf, Mishubishi Motors has been at the forefront of small submarine technologies and innovations, developing the most advanced small craft to ever streak below the waves. With their close bond with ASD they have received contracts to co build the Blackfin line and the upcoming MF-9. Mishubishi decided to tak their first step on their own this year with the release of their first independently designed sufighter, the MF-7 Neptune.

The Neptune is based upon the design principles from the Blackfin and incorporated a more hydrodynamic hull, better surface control, and a new and more powerful engine design that stems from the MF-6's CR-2 Banshee engines. It also keeps the internal mounting found in the craft as well, allowing it to use the Dauntless Cavitation guns. However, unlike the MF-6, the MF-7 does not incorporate any torpedo systems, internal storage bays, or wing hard points. It is the first subfighter to have been built for the sole purpose of combat with other subfighters. Because of this the craft mounts three Dauntless guns on the port, starboard, and ventral side of the bow with a ammo supply that is 120% improved over the MF-6. The craft uses the space where the torpedoes bay would normally be for this ammo storage as well as an improved and expanded battery bank that allows the range of the craft to be extended to 650 nautical miles, a 120 mile increase over that of the MF-6. Coupled with an increase range and anti-subfighter armament, the craft also boasts the highest speed in the underwater world of 96 knots thanks to lighter weapons and frame design. While a smaller player in the field of submarines, Sumitomo Heavy Industries has taken this opportunity at SubX to show that they are taking the new market in submarine technologies seriously with the unveil of the their flagship model, the Attack Submarine Okinawa, being docked right next to the expo to show the investors just where SHI stands in the market.

The Okinawa is a new generation of attack subs built for durability and front line combat. With a total displacement of over 20,000 tons, the vessel is the largest attack submarine design ever conceived. It is also the most heavily armed with a RTS launcher and four 21 inch torpedo tubes mounted on the bow, three torpedo tubes on the stern, six aquagun point defense turrets, and ten VLS missile cells on the top of the vessel. Its RTS system is a new model that has access to two torpedo tubes instead of one, allowing all six of the revolver's torpedoes to be fired in less then 3 seconds over the six seconds of the current models. All of this armor and weapons causes a significant loss of speed, with the vessel capable of only reaching 29 knots, the slowest of any of the Lancer-Type submarines. The ships most impressive advantage is its huge magazine capacity with a total of 150 torpedoes, three times that of the I-500. Nevertheless, the ships is being hailed as a breakthrough as it brings attack submarines from vessels used for picket duty or stealth operations to a warship that can hold its own against largest submarine cruisers and even surface vessels. The Japanese Navy is planning to order at least five of the Okinawa class to supplement the already existing I-500 class. These ships are currently available and have been priced at 2.8 Billion per unit.

The newcomer to the field of submarine design is Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding. MES is known for its versatile ship designs but has never constructed a ship capable of underwater operations, and it looks like that trend will continue. MES has unveiled Japan's first surface based subcarrier: the Juno Class.

The Juno is an innovation by itself in terms of a vessel. While the ADE is the first to incorporate surface based subcarriers, Japan has built upon that platform and improved it. The ships have an extensive CLNK coms systems so they themselves can act as their own miniature CLNK system. The ship also has a large battery of missiles and anti-air defense systems along with the Japanese developed SPY-2 Radar system since the ship has to worry about more surface threats then subsurface ones in the current world. This is not to say the ship is defenseless underwater as it has two tripe turreted aquaguns on the fore and aft sections of this hip. Lastly, the ship has a varied amount of hanger assets with a small surface hanger capable of helicopter launches and a ventral based hanger for subfighters. The subfighters are launched via a moon pool with ramps on their side for both launching and landing the craft. While slower then a conventional subcarrier, it is still an effective means of deploying squadrons. The ships are currently available with a price of 2 Billion per unit.

Last but not least, Advanced Submarine Design International has been the cutting edge of submarine design since 2017 when the company was formed. Now, in 2020, the company sets out to revolutionize the field of submersibles once again with the advent of the MF-9 when it launches in 2022 and the brand new Pacific Class Assault Submarine. While ASD says that the MF-9 is under heavy development, it will not be willing to reveal any more then it already has about the craft this year, focusing instead on the Pacific Class.

The smallest full sized lancer type submarine built with a length of 50 meters, this sub is built from the ground up to be a fast and mobile first strike craft for coast defense and fleet operations. The submarine is extremely heavily armed for its size, boating two RTS systems on the bow and dual triple mounted Dauntless Aquaguns mounted on the dorsal and ventral sides of the ship. The ship's small profile and the fins protruding from its stern allow for quick maneuvers and quiet maneuvering without the use of loud thrusters. However, its most impressive feature is the completely redesigned engines. We do not know anything more about these engines other then they have been designated as the MCR-1X code name Stingray. These engines are said to reach a max speed of 40 knots thanks to the light weight of the ship, however, it is also said that ASD finally figured out a way to silence the cavitating engines as the ship is supposed to be able to run silently at up to 20 knots. No word on what the design or the technology behind this engine is, but it this is true Japanese submarines could see an upgrade in the near future. This craft is currently not for sale on the international market.
