Ohino sets up Temporary Military Base in Onthanpos

NORTHERN ONTHANPOS / OPOLIS - Under Svitka's permission. Ohino Forces set up 2 Military bases, 1 would focus on the Ohino Sea forces, and the other was set up at an abandon airport meant for the Air Force. These temporary Military bases are ment as a military outpost and Refugee camp for the Ohino Government. These areas will allow Refugees to come in and preform a background check. Once accepted, they will be relocated to Ohino via Alhmanic, where the southern economy is starting to pick up and new job opportunity are arising.

Entrits Wins Best Performance at the Cultural Festival in Ohino

On July 15th at the Ohino Cultural Festival the Republic of Entrits received the prestigious children's cultural award for their performances during the weeklong cultural fair in Ohino City, Ohino. The award comes as a contentious case is soon to be decided by the Entritsian High Court in regards to Entritsian's rights to sue the Ohino state in Entrits after numerous Entritsian citizens were detained for various crimes without the knowledge of the Entritsian state.

"It seems that the court case is having little affect so far towards the younger population of Ohino. I think that this shows that people are people and that Ohino really doesn't have any real animosity towards the Entritsian people. Things happen in international politics that make everyone cringe once on a while, but people are people and friendly nations such as the The Quasi-Democratic Republic of Ohino should stay just that; friends," claimed Department of Global Affairs Secretary Véric Stern.

After the announcement at the end of the cultural festival Entritsian Prime Minister Novák Ezra spoke in front of a multi-country audience in Ohino City. "I would like to thank the Ohino state for putting on such an important event for the Korovian people. Despite the troubles that plague our region, it is a true pleasure to see countries able to sit down and truly learn about another. It is events like these that end the frivolous chaos that can affect the minds of men and bring order in troublesome times."

The Republic of Entrits received 51 percent of the vote while the Ohino received 38 percent, Horovia eight percent, and Scivonia 3 percent, respectively.

High Court Rules that Ohino did not break the Sovereignty Immunity Act.

Early this Monday the High Court of Entrits ruled that the Ohino state did not break the Sovereignty Immunity Act, baring any potential litigation moving forward in Entrits in respect to the Ohino state's action earlier this year. In a unanimous decision, all High Court judges found that the state was incapable of trying any case involving a foreign power if it did not violate the Sovereignty Immunity Act and decided that Ohino did not qualify as a violator.

In the High Court majority opinion, High Court Judge Damir Novaković wrote, "the Court does not believe that the Ohino state violated the Sovereignty Immunity Act and Mr. Zdeslav Pejić and his attorney failed to give the court reasonable argument to allow Entritsian citizens to sue other states in Entritsian courts. The legal system in the Republic of Entrits is based off a singular code and allowing citizens to violate the Sovereignty Immunity Act could threaten diplomatic efforts and gives citizens extra-judicial power that could threaten the security of the country. We cannot have individual citizens creating international problems by allowing them to act as their own little nations. By invalidating the Sovereignty Immunity Act we also open up our country to possible acts of retribution from other countries concerning their legal code. The only time an Entritsian citizen may sue any foreign government in an Entritsian court is when the concerning suit involves a heinous action that violate either international law or laws against humanity. In regard to the former violation, their currently is no international law at this time and neither is Ohino a signer of the Arctic Accords. In the latter case, we do not see any violation so heinous that it would be a law against humanity. Since Ohino authorities complied speedily to all requests by the Entritsian state we reject this argument. If we would allow this subject to violate the Sovereignty Immunity Act, Entrits would put itself on a slipper slope and erode the necessary standards to claim a violation."

Mr. Pejić's lawyer, Lorena Posavec of the International Accord of Human Rights, told reports that she was "extremely unsatisfied" with the results of the case. "Since we lost the case I am extremely worried about the precedent that this sends to other countries around the world. Any nation can violate the rights of a person and the Entritsian state will not do anything to help its citizens. A state should protect its citizens while upholding human rights for all. That obviously has not been done here. If Entrits can't even uphold its own citizens rights, what does this mean for other non-citizens. It is a sad day in Entrits."

In a concurring opinion High Court Judge Valentina Radić agreed with the verdict, but rejected some of Novaković's opinions. "While I agree citizens being able to sue any nation in Entritsian courts could complicate international diplomatic efforts, I do not agree that citizens would become 'their own little nations.' The fact is Entrits has different laws then Ohino and only laws that violate the rights of man under Entritsian code, such as terrorism and genocide, can really be deemed harsh enough for an Entritsian to sue in Entritsian courts. Since Korovia does not have international courts, a case when such a heinous crime is committed can only be tried validly through Entritsian courts. However; this is a last resort when Entrits does not deem that anyone but its courts can give proper justice. In short, Entritsian are covered by Entritsian laws and Ohino people are covered by the laws of Ohino. The Entritsian state does give the right of foreign nationals to sue in Entritsian cases if they believe an Entritsian law is broken. This is covered under the Entritsian constitution and is essential to upholding the rights of every man, woman, and child that touches Entritsian soil."

The Entritsian High Court are scheduled to hear another contentious court case involving religious practices and constitutionality of allowing a state religion tomorrow.

Earlier this afternoon, the state media outlet of Alorianistan had announced that it has liberated half of Wazekia. In the news report, the media reported that Aloristani communist troops have advanced on most fronts, especially the Wazekian Front after defeating the majority of the '24th Imperial Fascist Army' in numerous battles and engagements. At this rate, state media estimates that the communists will reach the Wazekian-Wolfussian boarder within a week. Although the state media reports losses are light, significant losses were sustained on the Etarmoofan Front in fighting The Order in the Ildosian Mountains, slowing Aloristani advance into Etarmoof. In the far south, Aloristani troops were repulsed to the boarder, where they will remain for now.

The state media also reported that certain groups of ethnic Commissariat Governmental Organizations are being established in preparation for post-war life. Groups of Wazekians, Ildosians, and small amounts of Etarmoofans are being trained to serve in the military to fight off the fascists in what they are calling the Liberation War. Supreme Court Rules State Religion Unconstitutional

In a unprecedented decision by the Entritsian High Court, the statuette that legalized Vifism, the former official state religion of Entrits, was deem unconstitutional under Kodvich v. Entrits. Despite numerous constitutional lawyers predicting that the High Court would rule against Kodvich, the judges ruled in a close 5-4 in favor of Kodvich with Čika Perković writing the official court decision.



“The Entritsian Constitution holds the right to the freedom of religious expression and belief as a basic inalienable and human right. Any official religion puts this right in crisis as it gives motivation to prioritize one religion, or no religion over another. The fact that one religion has the ability to possibly influence political wills more than another is a direct violation of this amendment of the Constitution an we must deem this statuette as unconstitutional. While the Vifist Patriarchy does not have the ability to make political decision, the majority of this court does believe that the Vifist Patriarch can make political salient decisions by having the ‘ear of the government.’ This puts the potential level of religious and political freedom at risk.”

A dissenting report by Chief High Court Judge Damir Novaković did not rejected the claim that the Vifist Patriarch had more influence than other religions, but claimed this would not be solved through deeming the statuette unconstitutional. “My colleagues points are insufficient to deem such a law unconstitutional as the Patriarchy will still have influence above other religions. The problem with the High Court’s decision is that some religions may consistently have more influence over the government due to the fact that a majority of one population prescribes to that religion. Since a majority of Entritsian citizens are Vifist, the Vifist religion will consistently be more conscious in the minds of Entritsians than another and voters may vote that way for the better or worse. The facts are, this line of thinking is a slippery slope and if we prescribe to this line of thinking, the state can arbitrarily impinge on the religious liberty of any religion it so desires. If the Patriarch is not making political decisions then he is not infringing on religious liberties as enshrined in our constitution.”

The High Court ruling dealt a blow to the National Cruitsian Party (NCP) who runs on a platform to increase religious liberties of the Vifist religion and have a large religious following mainly in the northern regions of Entrits. Fredek Dúel, leader of the CNP claimed that the High Court's decision was "unacceptable" and that the court is moving a way from "values that make Entritsians Entritsians.” When Cail News asked for a comment, he reported that his party “would continue to fight the court and look for other options in congress.”

Prime Minister Novák Ezra, leader of the Democratic Conservative Party, refused to comment when asked by Cail News. Despite many in his party voting for the statuette, many reports suggest PM Ezra was skeptical of positioning the Patriarch on such a level.

Patriarch Pestritia Dreifntzi reported a statement that he would “abide by the ruling is all fashions.” It is unknown what will be done about the Holy City in Radovanci that the Patriarch currently owns. Entrits Cautions Against Rights Violations in Growing Etarmoofian Conflict

Without naming any belligerents, Department of Global Affairs Secretary Verik Stern reported that the Republic of Entrits would not accept "violations against the human dignity of any Korovian."

"The Republic of Entrits is dedicated to pursuing peace and stability throughout Korovia. The Republic of Entrits understands the that all nations are concerned with their security, but Entrits will not accept the degradation and violation of any Korovian at any time. It is within the interests of greater Korovia that Entrits pursue democratic principles that respect the intrinsic right of all people. It is the obligation of all parties to provide for the benefit and respect the sovereignty of all peoples. Entrits holds the right to respond in reciprocal actions if steps are taken by any belligerent state against these fundamental freedoms.

While the Republic of Entrits is currently not involved in any direct action in what was formally known as Etarmoof, Entrits has taken action against Drusgoian splinter groups that are listed as a terrorist organization by the Entritsian Department of Global Affairs.

While the government has not played any side of the conflict in Etarmoof, which has been racked with violence after the Emperor was assassinated earlier this year, many analyst say the island country could be pulled into a global conflict as numerous states vey for political influence in the large swath of land formally known as Etarmoof. Numerous Federal Assembly Members have announced their dissatisfaction over the Ohino land grabs, calling them "illegal and a political power grab at the expense of the domestic population." Others are concerned that power grabs will create further regional conflicts when the conflict begins the find a solution.

"Whether Ohino is being nefarious or benevolent may not matter in the long run. The fact is that Ohino is making this conflict much more complicated in the long run. Other officials have been weary of Aloristani influence in the region that some call dangerous. Aloristani state media sources reported that ethnic Commissariat Governmental Organizations were being created and had announced that at least three Nova Rei military commanders had been executed. Many consider both these actions to be dangerous, if not illegal. "We really have no idea whats going on and some of the information is just to good to be true. We require that all nations involved in the conflict not impinge on the sovereignty of the people and respect the inherent rights of all parties involved," claimed a governmental official who wished to remain anonymous.

Ormania State University warn Council of findings of the future of Ohino

OPOLIS - Today, Ormaina State University in Centre confronted the Ohino Council to talk about the future of Ohino. The university conducted a study of 10,000 people and asked them about the news and asked them about what they would have done if they where leading the country. They have found that the 3 major racial makeups of Ohino (Ohinoian, Narain, and now Wazekian) believe in different things on how the government should run. Ohinoians are known to believe in localization capitalism when everything belongs to small business which is embedded into the culture, this means that Ohinoians trend to vote more to the left. Narain's main priority is creativity and education, but believe in big money, this means they tend to vote to the center left. Wazekians are the most different race in Ohino and where they dominate is in the south where it is small government and low taxes. They will vote right along with other races. This is illistrated in the chart bellow.

But the Council itself is 62% Ohinoian, making it so that other races are not representative in the Council and its like they don't have a voice. This could be a problem later when eventually one group would want more representation in government when one group makes all of the rules for the rest of the people." says student Granse Nobel. "This is why New Nara has special rules in which it acts as an Autonomous region of Ohino. Those same rules need to apply to the 2 new states down south or we will have problems in the future."

6.9 Earthquake near Ohino City

Today at 11:18 am, The Ohino Geology department detected an Earthquake measuring 6.9. No body died during the quake but damage has been reported. A Tsunami warning was issued for the area due to the the Quake being offshore but nothing came. As a result, the city closed for the rest of the day and all major events where canceled or moved. The Ohino Stock exchange closed for the week putting the country in an economic stand still. The Prime Minister's office issued a statement. "Ohino City is very earthquake/volcano prone city due to its location near the crossing of 2 tectonic plates. We are happy that no one has been killed but we do encourage that the people that live there go home due to the fact that this could be a fore-shock sequence. In the next 2 days we could see something that can reach 8.0 or higher. We want people to stay on high alert and pay attention to the warnings given out by the Weather Center and the Geological Department on earthquake warnings and Tsunami warnings. Even if there is a large cliff built during the the ancient time, it doesn't mean that Ohino City is safe. People who live near the Canals of the city should be on high alert and plan their escape route."

Ohino City has called a state of emergency and ordered a mandatory evacuation of some areas in low lying areas. Ohino City is preparing for the worst and is not taking any chances. Currently the largest aftershocks have been 5.1, 4.8, and 6.4. Average has been 1.7 with now over 40 aftershocks.

Breaking News: Ohino Coast Devastated after 9.2 Quake & Tsunami strikes Ohino City.



At just 10:52 am, an alarm sounded across the coast of a computer generated warning of a large earthquake transmitting to cell phones and TVs. This 30 second to a 5 min warning gave the people time to react effectively. The shaking lasted for 8 mins and the ground shook violently. About 2 mins after the quake was first detected, a Tsunami warning was issued in major cities along the coast of Ohino, Ohino City, Banaster, Yijun, Effingham, Venga, Yorken, and many smaller towns. 50% of the Ohinoian population lived on the coast and law enforcement helped people get inland. 25 mins after the the Quake, the first wave hit the coast just north of Ohino City in the state of Mash in Banaster. The cities that where mostly effected by the wave where Wazekian Trade port cities like Banaster and Effingham. Ohino City stayed mostly intact but was not clear. A large seawall was built back in the ancient times to combat Tsunami waves. According to the Ohino Geological department, the coast during the quake dropped 6 feet now making the 20 foot wall a 14 foot wall. It was reported that the wave was 20 feet tall and Ohino City experienced a wave 6 feet tall. Flooding downtown and nearby. Banaster, Mash was not so lucky and experienced a wave 20 feet tall. The Wave destroyed 64% of the Ohino Coast. It is estimated that 6,000 to 15,000 people have died and 3,000 people have gone missing.

The Prime Minister's office released a statement and a response "We are saddened by this event that has taken place in one of the most populated parts of the country. Our prayers go out to them." The Prime minister then issued a Military order to help local officials find people and rescue them.



over 1,600 municipalities with a population of over 45 million people have been effected by the Tsunami and it is not over yet. The Tsunami is still working its way across the ocean and we could lose more lives across the sea.

The Epicenter of the Quake was just at the tip of the Ohino Peninsula with the rupture of the fault from Banaster around Ohino City and the Peninsula and to the edge of Ohino North. This created a wave effecting the northern countries and southern countries of Ohino. As of right now, the rescue operation is in full effect and the government has set up safe houses and first aid centers in inland towns for people to stay. Schools are closed for the week and the Ohino Stock Market is closed until further notice.

Five Astrean climbers killed in deadliest accident of Alpine season

A helicopter rescues a climber at Hinterau.

Five Astrean climbers were killed and a sixth seriously injured after an accident in Karwendel on Sunday, rescue services said.

The accident occurred below the Hinterau pass, about 80 kilometres (50 miles) south of the central city of Steddorf, when a rope came loose after one of the group skidded while climbing on a glacier at an altitude of 3,000 meters. Witnesses from another group said two of the climbers "tried to prevent the fall by using ice picks, but to no avail," said local mountain rescue chief Franz Gensbichler.

Five helicopters were sent to the scene, and the surviving climber was transported to a hospital in Meiserspring where he was said to be in serious condition. The victims have not yet been identified.

It was the deadliest climbing accident so far this season in the Karwendel, where several dozen mountaineering deaths are reported each summer.

Mother duck shuts down Autobahn

The perilous crossing of an Autobahn by a mother duck and her family on Wednesday ended messily for five chicks. But after the mother had brought the survivors to safety, she still came back for the rest.

Police had to shut down the Autobahn 3 outside Matzdorf for a half hour on Wednesday afternoon as a mother duck desperately looked for five of her chicks who had not made it across the road.

The duck family had attempted the dangerous crossing at around 11:30 am, but five chicks were hit by a car and died. The mother took her surviving offspring to safety, but returned three hours later to see if there were any survivors. Police had to shut down the motorway as they attempted to cajole the mother duck off the road. But the bird refused to be shooed off the road and escaped the clutches of any officer who tried to grab her.

After a half hour she left the road of her own accord and went into a nearby green area.

ScNN - Renzyk, Scivonia - Political Activist Luka Petiquinta accusse President Katerina Madvem of corruption, political suppression and media manipulation. Luka claimed Pres. Madvem is rewarding high-ranking bureaucrats and businessmen from her inner circle for services and loyalty, with the possibility of getting richer by using and abusing state properties and contracts.

According to Luka, Much of this tension grew, ironically, from the President’s desire to be embraced by the Scivonian community. In her current term as president, she tried hard to unite the federal establishment. She clearly enjoyed her interactions with the leaders, and desired their respect. But when they rejected her, she turned against them either by creating malicious issues, stir public sentiment or worst killed into an unprecented accident. He added that Corruption significantly impedes businesses operating or planning to invest in Scivonia. High-level and petty corruption are common, especially in the judicial system and public procurement. The business environment suffers from inconsistent application of laws and a lack of transparency and accountability in the public administration. Scivonia's regulatory inefficiency substantially increases the cost of doing business and has a negative effect on market competition.

Luka added to accusation the death of Sergei Dinsko a human rights lawyer known for representing civilians in human rights cases again the Scivonian police. He also represented journalists who found themselves in legal trouble after writing articles critical of Madvem and her alleged cronies, including Tyre Lipovsky and reporter Anna Kurisova Ingsky, who was slain in earlier this year. Dinsko was shot by a masked gunman near the Federal Headquarters in Borea Kraslava. Barbosa, also a journalist from Scivonia Independente' was fatally shot as he tried to help him. Scivonian authorities said a group of armed men was behind the killings, and two members were convicted of the deaths.

The Palace has not yet given any statement on the accusation.

ScTV - President Katerina Madvem on Friday inaugurated the country's third and largest nuclear power plant NI-3 at Novo Ivgorod, Kendav Region, Scivonia.

The plant is capable of generating 7,850 MW of electricity.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, President Madvem said that the project would help the country's energy problem.

The Novo Ivgorod nuclear power projects units, NI-1, and NI-2 have already been successfully contributing to the national grid, she said, adding that two large nuclear power plants, R-1 and R-2 were also under construction at the region of Ranov that she hoped would be operational soon.

Madvem said that the nuclear plants produce economical electricity; more power generation projects would be launched in Kendav Region, she added.

ScTV - Scivonian companies are more confident than ever as they tap into its domestic economic upswing.

A measure of the nation’s business confidence set a new record high in November. “The recent uptick is the index is mostly due to the manufacturing sector, so the industry really,” Gaza Economic Institute President Sergei Fuero said in an interview. “We’ve had a strong domestic economy for some time and what’s being added now is a stronger global economy.”

ScTV - Air travel has long been an established way of life for millions around the world, but innovation continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the skies.

While aviation has made it easy to travel long distances, the need to lower emissions from flights is pressing. The country’s Climate Change Commission has described aviation as "one of the fastest-growing sources of greenhouse gas emissions."

In Anaveil City, Vjayara researchers at the University of Vukov Antonious the Great have been working on what they describe as a "high performance," electrically- powered two-seater aircraft called the e-Armittage.

"The e-Armittage is a full electric battery-powered airplane with a max take-off mass of 900 kilograms,"Andrei Stroh, from the university's Institute of Aircraft Design, told ScTV’s Sustainable Energy. Stroh added that the aircraft could carry two pilots over a distance of just under 250 miles and claimed that the e-Armittage is capable of traveling long distances.

Stroh said that his team was now focusing on the development of a high-performance hybrid aircraft with a smart diesel engine.

Could an electric passenger plane be on the horizon? "I think it's possible," Ivan Palensky, from the Serv University of Technology in Vladimastag told ScTV.

Controversial for the Vifist Patriarch Continues

Controversy continues for the Vifist Patriarchy after the High Court of Entrits deemed the an official state religion and the Patriarchies involvement in the government "unconstitutional." Patriarch Pestritia Dreifntzi, the leader of the Vifist religion, commented that they will follow the High Courts decision and will look to the Prime Minister and the legislature to come up with an appropriate way to "move forward." Dreifntzi also commented that the church will continue to work towards the end of poverty and to help the disadvantaged and this will never change.

A House of Commissions small committee suggested that the Patriarchy will be affected by the decision as state funding and potentially tax deductions and other financial benefits may be reduced or eliminated. While a very small amount of state funding went to the Church and most funds are drawn from donations, some worry that the Church could struggle to continue to be help the community. "Those happy with the decision do not realise that they are directly affecting the poor communities where the church is ever present. The church has always advocated for equality, but apparently the left only cares for itself," commented a CNP member.

The government had been stalled by the future of the Patriarchy in the Eastern-Central city of Radovanci with different proposals arriving in Cail, the capital city of Entrits, daily. Proposals range from the Patriarchy having to pay all taxes or having to sell off lands to a small section to the entire city of Radovanci breaking off from the Entritsian state to become and "independent principality."

Political parties from both sides of the spectrum don't have any unified consensus, especially the right. Stuck in between severely crippling a religion many have hard ties too to loosing country land, the right has yet to come up with a major consensus. The left parties are generally against allowing an independent principality and for making the Church and eliminated tax deductions. Analyst suggest that the right might consolidate on a small section of the city becoming independent from Entrits, but reports are still preliminary.

Upcoming First Year Elections: The Right Rising.

With the first 1/5th of the Council seats up for grabs this year. Also with the Annexation of the Wazekian Population in Nova Rei is making Ohino Elections closer for Liberal and Conservative leaning parties in the Council. With 110 seats up for grabs in the Next election and the Liberal Leaning Parties holding on to 292 seats that have expanded to 301 seats since Special Elections in Nova Rei. They only gained 9 seats out of the 50 available. This signaled the conservative leaning population of Nova Rei was not into left leaning polices.

With that in mind, every Ohino State has at lease one district up for grabs. Liberal Leaning Parties can hold on to 51 seats before losing their majority. This maybe bad for the Prime Minister which her party is a Left Leaning Centrist Party.

Conservatives are targeting all seats. Pollsters are projecting that Left leaning parties will hold their majority even with all of the seats up for grabs. Out of all of the seats only 60 of them are up for grabs and most of the seats are safe seats. Progressive Council Member Juian Toab of Alcoman, Hunter won his seat with 67% of the vote.

Pollsters are projecting that The Conservative Party is more likely to Gain seats than any other party. In Ohino Council Elections, its good that a parties have large leads like last election because it is most likely that they could hold their majority for the next 2-3 yearly elections.

State Department Puts up Travel Advisory for Foreign Travelers applying to all of Ohino.

"We are seeing an increase of Foreign Travelers getting sick across the world from Ohino born diseases like Bornia, and Lockami which are Virus found in farm foods here. The Queen proposed holding Elections in the area and the Military has the option to find out how elections are held. The Queen told the media how she wanted the area to be divided.

"I want people to vote on which country that forms do they want to be a part of. If you look at this chart, we have divided the area into 22,000 ranges. What we know is that on one side will be the Country for Wazekians, and the other will be the country for Wolfassians. Ohino does not want to draw the line without doing damage so our plan is to simply hold an election in the middle region and based on those results we can draw a line and decide the country. After that, Ohino will withdraw from the area and let the countries go on their own." Queen Hunter said to reporters.

Queen Hunter said if everything is calm, the election will be held March 10th. The military will decide how the election will be held.

A Campaign has started to win as much ranges as possible. The more Ranges that win in an area, the more likely that the area will go to that country. We will have to see what happens on March 10th.

States Adds Constitutional Change to upcoming ballot to Radify

After over a year of collecting Public Opinion, The Public Relations department as added one more thing to ballot. The Constitutional Change is about changing the Legislative Branch to a Unicameral Legislature meaning that the Council will be divided in 2 legislatures, one elected by districts and the other representing states in Ohino. For the past couple of months, 15 States has ratified this change but 30 States are needed to change or 60% of the Ohino vote to make this happen. The rest of the 30 states waited to long so now the vote will go to the people in those states which includes Mako, Reme, Opolis, Jefferson, and Ohino City.

Promising Year for Svitka



2018 has started off strong for the commonwealth. Already a full year into Petrov Glidsit's presidency, immense changes have occurred. First, the economy. Struggling for the past decade, the economy is beginning to thrive again, with immense growth. This is partly due to the immense tax reform passed which established a national flat tax and sales tax, revoking estate and inheritance taxes. The other reason for successful economic growth is the success of the industrial and agricultural sectors which have set record numbers for production and export. The stock market also reached record numbers in the past month, further contributing to the growth. There is little sign which will slow the growth, possibly making this year the best economic time period the nation may see since the turn of the century.

Besides the economic growth, Svitkan diplomacy has been making progress. The occupation of Onthanpos had ended last year before November. But, Svitka recently completed construction of the Onthanpi Embassy in Gredovia, opening just two days ago in a celebration attended by both heads of state and ambassadors.
Both the Ohino and Svitkan governments are working together to stabilize and strengthen former areas under control of Wazekia and Wolfussia. Both nations have maintained peacekeeping forces in the region for months, and have finally convinced all warring sides to a cease fire. Elections have been drawn up for groups to determine which state they wish to remain a part of and how they wish to be governed. This extraordinary election will be held in March. The ongoing cooperation between Ohino and Svitka will surely lead to bigger and better things in the future.

Major Online Star and Company Shut Down by Local Government

HEMPSTEAD, BANKS, OHINO: Police in Hempstead in the rich neighborhood of Dolftan Hills have made a major arrest of a major online video making star named Eddi Wale. Wale was born in Margo, Reme where he made his living making videos and moved to Hempstead to join the business started by business associate, Gordon Homes and his company Team 50.

Wale has been making vlog type videos of him doing things with friends online. But most of the content was of him doing pranks. It may sound harmless but a lot of his content showed him doing illegal activity like running red-lights, filming in public without permission (Illegal in the State of Banks), racism, destruction of property (Public and Private), invading people's privacy by filming their homes, making false accusations (illegal in most Ohino States) without grounds. There have even been police reports of public disturbances at the house where he lived by the neighbors.

Even abroad, Wale and his friends would disrepect cultures in the countries of Entrits, Belarusia, Svitka, and Noldorin Oron.

Hempstead Police have announced yesterday that the Police now have enough charges from neighbors, evidence, and to charges file to arrest Wales. They announced that Wales has finally done enough illegal activity to be taken to jail and brought to court. The police raided the house at 3 in the morning and made 7 arrest including Wale himself who seemed to look like he was about to skip town. Police also arrested Homes under the charges of a conspirator for supporting this.

The Reaction from Wale's fans have been anger. "Eddi did nothing wrong," said one little girl protesting outside of the Hempstead Police Headquarters Downtown, "He is just making us laugh just like any other creator." She is one of the thousands of little girls who are protesting for his realise.

Parent groups are applauding this move by the Police. "Wale was a horrible influence on our children. It seems that his stardom got to him and its all about the views online now. In Ohino, this shows that there is a certain line that you should not cross. And this also shows that nobody is above the law." They said in a statement. "Parents should be more aware of what our kids watch online. This is not only the fault of Wale but also the website hosting it, Show You should step up and not promote his content if its illegal. It was on the front page of the site with every controversial video getting 6 million views online."

Hempstead Police put out a report on their evidence. "The Police department has put up charges against Wale and there are a total of 7 charges, which will keep him from getting bail until his court date." the Police said in a statement.

The ONP (Ohino National Police) said they will press charges "We have reports of the right of Privacy being broken by Wale and his friends so due to the constitutional Right to Privacy described in the 5th amendment of the Ohino Constitution. We also have reports that charges have been filed abroad so the ONP will be investigating and representing the people abroad in this case."

So far, Wale has 11 charges against him. The police said that they will use his videos as evidence for his crime considered that 80% of the illegal activity has been filmed and is considered direct proof to convict Wale. It seems the cards are stacked against Wale in this case and there is nothing that his Fans can do to stop this.

The ONP has shut down the business that Wales ran with Homes and the Police and ONP are investigating.

Little Girls take action to Demand for Wale's release

HEMPSTEAD, BANKS, OHINO: After word of Wale's arrest reached across Korovia today, a army of little girls around age 13 have been protesting outside of police departments, city halls, and government buildings protesting for the release of Wale. He was arrested yesterday for caring too many charges from neighbors, police, and the Federal Government, even people abroad our suing.

"WALERS FOREVER" yelled the crowd of children outside of the Hempstead Police Department. Behind them was a crowd of Parents not caring about what their children where advocating for.

A petition signed by many of these young fans for the Queen to Pardon his crimes was submitted to the Department of Public Affairs but was denied. The DPA said in a statement "These girls are too young to vote and if you are too young, you can't submit petitions under law. there for it was an illegal petition."

Queen Hunter put out a statement. "This is ridiculous that these kids would bow down to these awful influences, even if that petition went though, I would never pardon his crimes. Wales need to suffer the consequences because his antics have been going unchecked for too long and he needs to pay his debt to society. This guy should not be forgiven unless he understands what would happens if he does these things. Parents need to start doing there job as parents and give them the talk that not everything online they should worship and not everything online they should follow."

Prime Minister Mataki put out a statement. "As a former Civil Rights Activist looking at Wale's videos, I was offended when he did a video on his trip to my home state of New Nara by disrespecting our culture. He even called the Naran people racial slurs as so called "Jokes" of his and even if they where meant to be "Jokes" they were not interpenetrated as jokes. I fully support the Hempstead Police and their efforts and this case and I am sure any older Ohinoian, Narain, Wazekian, or anybody would understand that antics like this are not acceptable under the law of Ohino or any State and Wales needs to be educated on why its not ok to do this stuff and what happens to people who don't follow the law."

87% in a poll conducted by Ohino National say that Wale needs to be taught a lesson. with mostly teenagers disagreeing and the number lowering to 56% and 13% undecided.

The Ohino National Police announced today that they will be fining the website Show You for supporting his content and other people like Wale. "We think that Show You went against its own guidelines and put Money ahead of what people should be seeing on its platform. One example being that one of Wale's videos has them finding a real dead body in Lake Arol and making jokes about it. It was a confirmed dead body which goes against the guidelines of Show You and the video was flagged by a professional but was allowed back up by someone at the company without any restrictions of any kind. But 10 million people saw the video before Wale took it down himself."

"What Wale and the site Show You did in unacceptable." says Social Advocate Jane Park. "Kids have been exposed to this stuff and now scared for life by this. Show You needs to suffer the consequences for supporting Wale and his content instead of more descent people on the website."

Even with the horrible accusation, kids are still demanding for his release. Even starting violence outside by attacking police officers. 17 kids have been arrested due to violence. "This is due to the influence of Wales did to these poor kids." says the Chief of Police Romea Chan. "We are putting up a 10 pm curfew for the area so officers can leave peacefully and go home."

The kids refuse to leave even with parents, which forced the police to use more aggressive tactics like tear gas to disperse the young protesters which worked.

"We think there is more to Wale's charges then the 11 right now, we may have them ready by tommorrow." says the Chief of Police.

The Joint Ohino-Hovavian Rail Authority goes against the Hyperloop.

GRIZ, HORAVIA: In a public meeting of the Ohino-Horavian Rail Authority or OHRA talked about funding for maintaining railroads with the budget that both countries are giving to run it. One of the topics talked about building the newly proposed concept of the Hyperloop between Griz, Horovia to Ohino City, Ohino.

The Hyperloop is a theoretical idea that by getting rid of air in a long tube, you get rid of air resistance to an object so it can move faster and quieter at the speed of sound. The idea was to put a train in the tube and run it on a track between the two cities.

But in debate, Prime Minister Mataki appointed Commissioner Ray Qween said he would vote against it. "The idea of the Hyperloop I think is to dangerous for any of our people to ride. If one section of the tubing fails, it would ruin the system and not just one train but all trains. imagine that this happens and one section of tubing explodes, because there is no air, air will come rushing down the tube at unbelievable speeds and be enough to push other trains back and they would not stop until reaching the end of the tube. This means that trains can be crashing into each other at high speeds causing a complete shut down of the system with possibly hundreds of people dead."

Commissioner Brean Samie of Ohino held a similer position. "If you suck air out of a tube there would be new types of pressure." He took an empty bottle to illustrate his example "I will suck air out of this bottle and when that happens, the bottle will condense. What would happen if something failed inside of the tubing and suddenly it crushed with people inside. They would be crushed by the pressure. I believe that we can figure how we can fix that but I don't think technology is at that point for us to build one."

In vote, to advance the study to build the hyperloop was defeated in a close vote 11 to 9 with all 10 Ohinoian Commissioners voting against it and one Horavian Commissioner flipping sides to kill the proposal.

But both side unanimously agreed to look at advancing in the MAGLEV field of Transportation and build the first line between Ohino City and Griz making at lease one thing to come out of the meeting a compromise.

DD looking into Entrits for Foreign Military Base

OPOLIS, OHINO - The Department of Defense held a press conference today in their office. "Prime Minister Mataki has looked into military growth in the past year. One of the things her administration looked at was possible new international military bases." says Defense secretary Gradus Reed. "One site we got looking at was a place in Entrits which was suggested by the Ohino Embassy in Cali, Entrits and the name of the place was called Drekovo which is an old abandon city in Entrits' Creit District. Why this place was picked as a higher place above the rest was because of the already build infrastructure, the climate of the area, research for Ohino on cold weather climates, military training in these buildings. Ohino will have no plans to use these building to put military dorms but instead build other infrastructure to accommodate that. The current plan we have will have a airbase, military dorms, a port only used in the summer unless we can build an ice breaker, 5 large hangers, a training ground, the city itself as a military training ground, and more as we figure out the plan."

The Reed also looked the historic prevalence of the abandoned town and made a promise. "We will never use firearms in the buildings but only in the building Ohino build for the base. When the military trains, we use paintball to encourage strategy planing instead for training. So the building will not be damaged, but Ohino will check the stuctures to see if they are stable enough, if there not, they will be renovated to fix the problems but not all of them."

"I am willing to go to Cali, Entrits and talk to the Parliament myself about this and make sure they get something back other than 30 million tamers on the land that the Council of Ohino has offered." Reed mentioned.

The base would estimate to cost 10 million tamers to build but they plan on hiring locals to help with the project.

"I think this is good of Entrits. Drekovo is a dead city and we have just forgot about it. Ohino is one of our best alles and we work with each other on a lot of issues, so getting a little extra protection is good for both countries."

Entrits Riled up Over Ohino's Military Base Prospects

The Democratic Republic of Ohino media released an article detailing their prospects for a foreign military base in the heart of Entrits second largest land mass, Sjever. Pinpointed as the abandoned city of Drekovo in the Creit District in Northern Entrits, the "lost city" would be used as an Ohino military instillation to train Ohino troops in possible coordination with Entritisian troops. Ohino media is cited that further infrastructure development such as an airbase, military dorms, a port, 5 large hangers, and a training ground could potentially be developed. Ohino apparently offered the Entritsian state 30 million tamers for the supposed project.



Entritsian citizens were surprised about the supposed project as the Entritsian state had not released such information to the public. When asked to comment the Department of the Environment, Office of Regional Affairs replied that "they understood the sensitive nature of the area in question and that any prospective plan would be evaluated carefully as to benefit the local communities." The Ohino prospect comes in conflict with the governments previous claims to redevelop and rebuild the city. The government had been known to have ask for contracts to rebuild the city last year, but has been yet to pick any specific contractor.

Drekovo was the formal capital of the former Drekovo break off nation that led to the Entrine War of 1898 that ended with the defeat of the Drekovo revolutionist at Cail in the Battle of the Red Entrine in 1905 and the fall of the Drekovo city when the revolutionary Drekovo destroyed the city. The area was closed down until 2014 because of insurgent activity, but has slowly been reopened as violence diminished when the Cruitsian Nationalist Party was formed, formally ending the insurgency.

Local communities of northern Entrits have expressed concerns about the Ohino prospect citing that the Entritisian state would be giving up sovereign land to a foreign entity on land that should be redeveloped for the benefit of the people. "My great grandfather become a innerstate migrant after the Entrine War and was forced to flee to the south. He, my father, and myself don't feel the south is really my home. I am en Entritsian, but Drekovo is my home in Entrits. Don't destroy that for my family" claimed an anonymous Federal Assembly member.

Others in the south are more concerned with Drekovo reemerging as a save haven for a resurgent Cruitsian terrorist or insurgent group, especially have the high court claimed that the official status of the Vifist church in Entrits as unconstitutional. "Perhaps it would be better to give the area to someone who would use the area for the benefit of all of Entrits. We certainly could use some money in the cofers and jobs for the local community could actually spur local growth.

Cruitsian Nationalist Party leadership denounced the prospect and pledged their "heartfelt" rejection of the plan. The center right Democratic Conservative Party is cited as being generally against the plan citing no need for the protection and militarisation that any military based would provide. Cultural and safety issues have also been cited as issues to the proposed military base.

Prime Minister Novak Ezra says he is willing to talk with Ohino representatives to clarify their proposal, but that he must take in the local factors first in any decision.

Ohino Department of Defense announces Public Hearings for the Foreign Military base

OPOLIS, OHINO, The Ohino Department of Defense on its website dd.ohgov posted announcements of public meetings in Ohino and Entrits about the proposed military base. Military officials will be sent to Entrits for the events to answer questions and hear public comment. The first meeting will take place in Opolis in the Department of Defenses' headquarters Downtown in the public room. The Second meeting will take place at the Ohino Embassy in Cali, Entrits in the Banquet Room but there is limited space for that so the event will go on all day between 8 am to 8 pm with presentations every 2 hours. The third meeting was scheduled in the city of Sjedost but its not specified yet on what hotel it will take place at. The Next one will take place in Splinkhachov in the convention center. The last meeting will be at Vukasi's Expo Center, There may be more meeting in the future but Defense hasn't planned it out these meetings yet, but based on public outcry, they may hold more. These meeting will be with the Ohino Embassy and will offer free food to these events.

The Department Put out a statement. "It is crucal to get the locals involved with the process and amend changes and concerns to our plans which is why we have been extremely open for discussion. Ohinoian citizens will have a chance to comment on the proposal in Opolis next week but locals in Entrits will have most of the say."

We have asked Ohino citizens on their thoughts on this matter. Jene Phen of Centre, Ormania, Ohino had to say this. "I have really been a huge advocate for PM Mataki's administration and I voted for her last election because I wanted more defense and alliance from our allies. I support this, both countries would be willing to work together on military conflict and will put Ohino on Entrit's doorstep to solve conflicts."

Kengston Bran of Marbor, Viner had to say this. "Ohino needs to keep its money and spend it on Education instead of spending it abroad in another country. Even though defense is important to our well being, I say we should build up military here instead of abroad."

Department of Education Starts online database of Certified Higher Ed, Council cracks down on Fake Univeristies

OPOLIS, OHINO - The Department of Education rolled our its online database of colleges and university across the world that have accreditation. This effort was made to cut down on the amount of people with fake degrees. It is estimated that 30% of people who have degrees in Ohino may be fake. This was highlighted when a Hospital in Ohino City was the scene of a horrific tragedy with 40 patents losing their lives when a newly hired surgeon doctor with a degree from an unaccredited fake university from Western University, which is not a real university.

Even with this effort, the Council of Ohino plans on passing legislation which changes the layout of college degrees in general. The paper that degrees are printed on will now use the same paper that the Tamer uses and some of the same security features as the Tamer to prevent counterfeit. This legislation would put a break in fake colleges and universities in Ohino.

The Department of Education put out a statement. "It is not fair to the people that some people can just pay 1000 tamers for a fake degree as other Ohinoians work for their degrees. It is also not right that company hire these people without doing research on there suspicious degrees. This is why we started the public database. There is now no excuse for doing research on the person you are trying to hire to see if there degree is fake. We hope to grow our database to include international universities in the future. The current university list is every registered and accredited university in Ohino and universities that have agreements with Ohino universities and colleges to study abroad. We hope to grow this list to include international accredited universities so the world can use our database.

Allenic Church Returns to the National Level

The Allenic Church became the state church today, by passing of the new Religion Act by Parliament. Duke Theo and the Patriarch of the church announced the news to a large crowd outside the National Cathedral, followed by a brief speech by the PM Nepoli. In the speech, he praised the wild revival of the traditional Allenic Church and its reappearance in Allenic society. He also discussed the importance of the bill's passage and reaffirmed religious freedoms protected by the constitution. After the speech, religious services were held inside the cathedral. After service, the newly restored cathedral bells sang their tune for the first time in over 100 years.

The bill passed re-established the Allenic Church as the state church of Onthanpos with Duke Theo the ceremonial head of the church. Under him are the patriarch, bishops, and priests. It protected the rights of religious freedom, still allowing Allenic citizens to practice their faith freely.
