The Most Devout And Holy Empire of Vetok (Hereafter referred to as Vetok) has decided that the time has come to create an alliance with the Queendom of Jeniferia (Hereafter referred to as Jeniferia). Here we shall lay an initial list of terms, and ask the Queendom to contribute with its own thoughts:
TRADE
General:
1. The nation of Vetok will extend 'Most-Favoured Nation' to the nation of Jeniferia. This would entail discounts in all transactions between organisations/personages based in or originating from the concerned nations.
2. The nation of Vetok will sign contracts with the nation of Jeniferia on a product for product basis.
Slavery:
1. Both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia pledge to forbid the sale/trade and the transport/shipping of slaves within their respective territories.
2. Both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia will be permitted full legal rights to search the ships of the other's merchant marine if given reason to believe to that there may be slaves on-board. These rights will also apply to any other form of transport, i.e. aircraft, locomotives or motor vehicles.
Arms-Dealing:
1. Neither the nation of Vetok nor the nation of Jeniferia will provide armaments to any person/group/nation currently at war/engaged in hostilities with the other.
2. The nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia promise not to allow armaments destined for regimes hostile to other allies.
Nuclear Power:
1. Both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia pledge not to allow unregulated transit of nuclear materials (Defined as parts for nuclear reactors/weapons, research and personal) through their territorial boundaries.
RELATIONS
Military:
1. Both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia pledge not to got to war, nor engage in actions hostile to the other.
2. Should one nation find itself engaged in war, (Provided that this results through no fault of it's own), the other will assist it in any way possible.
Scientific:
1. Both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia pledge to exchange information resulting from scientific developments.
Judicial:
1. Both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia will allow the arrest/detainment for questioning of any individual, provided the requesting nation provides sufficient evidence.
MILITARY
1. The military forces of both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeneferia will exchange observers on a regular basis.
2. The military forces of both the nation of Vetok and the nation of Jeniferia will conduct regular training missions together, with an eye to future joint operations together.
