Provincial Jaguar somewhere over 'Free Anchin' territory, March 12th, 2017
Many speculate that perhaps the renewal of air attacks is a precursor to another attempt to push in and clear terrorist forces from the border, especially after repeated cries from the southern provinces for a strong military response after repeated local attacks and numerous kidnappings from homesteads and settlements. The Provincial Directors from three southern provinces have all lodged protests with the Assembly, asking for swift responses to the growing number of raids. Some truth is in the thought that ground troops will follow, as some militia units have been re-positioned to the south, and at least two regular army divisions have been airlifted to De Aar supposedly for 'maneuvers'. It is expected that the overall plan of action for the Anchin insurgency will be laid out in the coming weeks when Marietta Kruger is to hold a more detailed conference at the end of the month. For now though, the nation can only speculate, while the citizens of the southern provinces can perhaps sleep a bit safer at night now.
