2016 is going to be a busy year for II.

All I want is some coast and some ports from Asigna so I can have a greater range for my commercial fleets so they can land in Feng controlled territory. This will also make long distance voyages more manageable as well, and increase trade.

No. Just some ports where Feng ships can go through so they can go through peacefully.
Feng is only expanding because Asigna is in a position that blocks Feng trade to some allies, and thus Feng is interested in capturing some ports so Feng ships can land there, and restock and be protected by Feng troops and transports.
Feng's interests are purely commercial.

It would be null if relations between Feng and SACTO soured, which, given that I find Nihon to be unpredictable and I'm sure that relations could possibly sour between nations enough to get rid of the agreement, and as such Feng wants to ensure that it can get it's trade through even if relations became cold. Also, Feng wants some of the native resources so it can boost the empire's income.
Also, Feng is extremely-Anti Asigna as well, so regardless, Feg will get involved in an attempt to strike Asigna out of spite.
Mainly due to the government in power, as it is not to Feng interests for that government to remain in power.

I.e. do calm down for the moment Feng, it's worth waiting to see the opinion of important powers before engaging in capturing bases. Last year Ausitoria neglected to do that the last time they annexed a small island and the results were almost catastrophic. Communication is key.

Krjder, as a result doesn't have partisan politics, which in turn has its benefits and drawbacks. People also get to vote on ANY bill that the government try to pass. Citizens may also call for bills to be created or released if they get enough signatures to their appeal.

I also support democracy, but I don't think democracy should make major decisions for the sake of efficiency and the greater good. That's how it works in my nation. A Senate of like 400 Senators that decide most of the minor legislation while the President, an autocrat, and his staff decide the big stuff. Utilitarianism is a concept in my country.

Also, looking at the real world, we can see how the masses do stupid things. Like supporting a walking meme named Trump. But I won't get into IRL politics here.
