I think it would be far to say the IFC has had a bit of a crisis in the past few months in not knowing what it's for, and then not doing whatever we decided it was for. I think we should respond with a more flexible, sensitive, demand-driven response: empowering members to do what they actually want to do, to spread freedom with fun and efficiency.

Therefore, having gone in some detail into how I would do things, here is my list of what I would like my government - or any IFC government - to do to for Christmas.

Ausitoria's "Secret" 5-point plan for Reviving the IFC

1. Create new official IFC RPs by appointing/supporting individuals and small groups with RPing ideas/experience.
2. Recreate the RRF with voluntary forces and donations, and develop our military standards and intelligence, in particular with exercises.
3. Use the IFC as a platform for more demand-sensitive optional government services - specialist organizations for people who want to be part of them, like Trade Zones, infrastructure projects, development funds, companies: any quality projects that IFC members definitely want to get involved with.
4. Use legislation primarily to enable the government to do things whichever way works best, allowing government to be far more flexible and sensitive.
5. Find out: what else do you want?

There are so many things we could profitably be doing that I really see no reason why everybody with both time and ability should not be able to contribute. Although there will always be priorities to be agreed on, this alliance does have considerable potential ready to be organized with a bit of flexibility and sensitivity.

One must start sometime, and if elected I would hope you would work with us in the government. I am sure very few of us would disagree that the ties between IFC and SACTO are significant, and important not only to us but to the maintenance of the current diplomatic power network.

The only things not solved are increasing our military presence and increasing our international reputation and relationships among members. From what I've gathered around international incidents from many of my...contacts, the IFC is mostly forgotten both politically and militarily.
We need to stabilize things around here, and begin showing a strong military and political presence in the world once again.
But, you did build us a good foundation for achieving that, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It'd have been a terrible inconvenience for the IFC to die.

You understand Resolution 66 enough to amend it? I thought it was almost impossible to understand: that's why I've just proposed legislation to sort it out... if it's not that difficult ... why did I bother? Waste of half an hour trying to simplify it... time of my life I'll never get back.

I will be focused on increasing activity with multiple RP's, and strengthening our international reputation, IC and OOC relationships between members and members of other alliances, strengthening our military position and reorganizing it into a uniform force, and possibly making amends to the constitution to make sure there is no confusion or loopholes, as I've seen loopholes exploited by members here in the past and wish to stop that.
