For instance, some nations gave the same or more amount of points to someone else as they did with their puppet. 40th edition saw a rise in this scenario happening. Even me, I gave Kalosia 24 points, but I do think that was unfair, looking back on it. I know some people (Electrum I think) has this system where the two best acts get the 12 points, the second best two acts get ten and so on so forth. Wouldn't this be a way to stop the problem happening here? The negatives about this really is that it would be harder for a nation to beat Polkopia's record. Oh and it be a harder process.
Oh but I dont regret giving Kalosia that 24.
Yes! I've been insisting on this for a few editions now.

Something like that, we'll figure it out with the committee when it gets revamped. It'll be interesting to see the five-seat arrangement return. yes, manifesto incoming
This was something I had in mind. My rationale would be two of the big three points = 16 points, and that would be enough rationalisation for that. I know I would be upset if I lost to someone who had gained 24 points from someone like that -- I get you like the song, but 24 is too much of a reward to give.
Currently thinking of writing a manifesto/going for the committee. Probably won't since I don't have time what with end-of-year-exams determining which university I go to this year, but I will vote on someone who does that.
Also, is the committee going to be increased up to five? Or was that a suggestion Tod? O_O
