The Lonish entry will be determined through a national final, unknown as of now is whether it'll be internal or allowing other nations to participate. Either way, for the time being, we're in.

(I'm on holiday, but my mom is rather ill so we might cut our trip short in a couple of days if she remains ill. if we do so, I'll get working on a national finale, otherwise ill just use the first inspiration to pop in my head)

No one bothered to put a link to this in the old OOC thread, I had to look for this myself.

Anyway, Kalosia's in as usual (also pre-confirming Saviera as my puppet), and this time we're having an OOC national final (ICly it would be an internal selection). All the songs will eventually be used as Kalosian WV entries, so what's being determined here is the order in which I use them.

I'd appreciated it if you drop me a TG telling me which of these three is your favourite and which is your least favourite:

- This mix I made of My Heart is Refusing Me and Euphoria (both by Loreen)
- Nacida Para Amar by Nina (Spain's Eurovision 1989 entry)
- I Need Your Love by Ellie Goulding (for some reason Calvin Harris is credited too)

If you have an NF I'll try to vote if I'm not too busy with other stuff (read: WHF), thanks!

LONIÊV ÊNÂZONÂLÊV FINÂL ÊN "WORLDVISION" (Lonish national final for "WorldVision")

ÂV FINÂLÛS (The Finalists)

1. Jane Jones - Critical (https://youtube.com/watch?v=ep_6QitSMLc)
From the Koklatês Region, Jane Jones brings her song Critical, which takes the listener on a magical journey around her psychedepileptic trips into wonderland. While Jane is a country singer at heart, and this song definitely heavily containing country elements, this swingy music definitely takes the audience on a trip.

2. Pfunk - Evolve Around (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzFuWRShhuE)
The genre is easy enough to guess, as the crystal clear beats of the Wildcard winner Pfunk song Evolve Around. The song's lyrics compete with the control of the state, and via the sharp bass line of the electro song it may appear as if the songwriter himself is a control freak himself a tiny bit. While the clip contains a metric ton of bombardments, the act in the Write-a-Song contest through which he qualified for the Wildcard was rather calm.

3. Doiân êt Sâida - Heartbeat (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4waVhT1euQo )
Qualifying through the Âsmal finale, the rap duo Doiân êt Sâida bring Heartbeat. Although the song has an overwhelming air of a governmental message over it (to be precise: Don't drink and drive) the tune is rather catchy. The act contains a complex structure involving a slope, magnets and a bed, and while the songtext is simple enough to sing along to, it also seems to touch some existential questions.

4. Felîs - Mêmor ân Or (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM5JU0juOSs )
A classic song that seems like an answer to Schlagers, the Write-a-Song contest winner Felîs sings about the beauty of the Lonish coasts in his song Mêmor ân Or, Memory of the Coasts. Being a rather straightforward song, it got a lot of votes from the public jury for the mentioning of cities in the song, while it got a lot of points from the jury for the poetic Lonish lyrics. Since both of these would be lost on the international public of WorldVision, reactions have been rather negative to this song possibly entering WorldVision, but experts believe it still stands a strong chance.

5. 8-BOT - Samurai (https://youtube.com/watch?v=ZIbfj5HElns )
Qualifying through the Lôns part of the contest (in which Lôns stands for the collective of the middle provinces), 8-BOT is a cult defining duo who have already redefined electronic music as it stands. Their song Samurai is a concerning one, about a Japanese warrior of ancient combat arts who, at his final breath was revived via technologic advances. 8-BOT is a fan favorite, and that is probably also very much due to half of the duo being absolutely crazy; the other half has been treated for his mental state already.

In order to vote, send a TG to me, stating your preferred order of songs (or to which you grant 1 through 5 points). To recap, the songs are:
1. Jane Jones - Critical
2. Pfunk - Evolve Around
3. Doiân êt Sâida - Heartbeat
4. Felîs - Mêmor ân Or
5. 8-BOT - Samurai

Thank you for voting in advance!

Hey, guys, is it too harsh to add on a rule where a user can only vote for someone else once? For instance, some nations gave the same or more amount of points to someone else as they did with their puppet. 40th edition saw a rise in this scenario happening. Even me, I gave Kalosia 24 points, but I do think that was unfair, looking back on it. I know some people (Electrum I think) has this system where the two best acts get the 12 points, the second best two acts get ten and so on so forth. Wouldn't this be a way to stop the problem happening here? The negatives about this really is that it would be harder for a nation to beat Polkopia's record. Oh and it be a harder process.

Oh but I dont regret giving Kalosia that 24.
