Dear Nation Aigéantir,

I write this letter to your honourable nation with a certain heaviness in my heart. Today, I awoke to hear the most tragic of news; that High King Shane Jadocus Conchobar II passed away as a result of that most perfidious of maladies; cancer.

Though Krjder has little contact with Aigéantir, save for your annual offering of junior officers to the IFC Officer Training Academy at Schwanitzbrükk, we, as a nation are filled with sorrow to hear of the High King's passing, for he was a rarity among leaders; humble, compassionate and healthily liberal, traits he utilised during his reign.

Mine and indeed Krjder's hearts and minds lie with Aigéantir and the late Conchobar's family. May God bless Aigéantir and watch over you in these darkest of times.

I would also like to attend the funeral of the High King, to pay my own personal respects and to represent Krjder's solidarity with Aigéantir. I hope this is acceptable.
