"I think such an idea will only hinder tsunami relife and recovery efforts and delay the delivery of material that can save thousands of lives and rebuild millions of them. The USJR goverment believes that all civilian aid and search and rescue teams are allowed, but the sudden and unprovoked deployment of western military units in the Middle East is uncalled for, un-needed and will only add to the tinderbox of the present situation. The fact of the matter is clear: Iackstorm started the shooting. They should be held accountable for their actions. In order for another incident not to occur foreign nations must withdraw units tasked to the area as a result of the alleged, and untrue, accusation of invasion. This will de escalate the situation and prevent sudden escalation."

Dean looked up from the table. "The incident in Yosun with the Caliphate was uncalled for; Help or not, you can't just move troops into a nation without access. It's a breach of treaties--it's violating the law." Dean paused. "Now, I do agree. Iackstorm should withdraw troops from the Caliphate, and things should return to normal." Dean looked towards President Marzio with a glance. "I suspect that the area will remain in tragedy for a long time. On top of this "ghost" war, as I am now calling it, we have the earthquake and tsunami on top of everything else."

Their allies," he said, looking at the Smoyan President, "Must tell them to back down and sue for peace." Leon listened to the Vekalsen representative speak and then replied.

"I do not agree nor support Al-Ahsa's move in Yosun but this summit is not about that. This summit is about the Iacki and Western declarations of war about the fabricated invasion of Yaramaqui." he said swiftly. "I will only discuss that matter because it of the utmost importance and utmost risk to the region." Leon took a breath. "At the moment the Soviet is concerned with preventing a broader conflict that has been started by Iackstorm and the west with fake pretexts."

The door opened right after Leon stopped talking, a tall man in a suit walked through. "Hello", even though he didn't say much you could still hear his thick, Dutch, accent. "For those who do not know me, I am prime minister Thijs Carpaij. Prime minister of Lindenholt, here to represent my country".

This is a meeting planned by Rezuan diplomats and Ymira, and if you do NOT want to discuss important matters such as this, I am going to have to ask Empress Ymira to inform the USJR to leave this meeting." Dean pauses. "Empress Ymira..." Dean struggled with sticking the title to the childish ruler, "Please put your foot down, and do not tolerate this. This is not the Leon's meeting; it's yours. You rule, and don't allow others to take charge!" Dean looked down Leon with disgust. "This meeting is NOT about USJR, so if this is the only thing you wish to discuss, I am appalled with your presence."

President Marzio finished his last chip (he wasn't drinking). Then he looked with a stern face at Mr. Leon. Clearly, some people got angry at just enjoying life before a frustrating, complicated meeting. But he understood what importance it had, and just listened to Mr. Leon's blind remarks.

"We are here to stand up for our ally Iackstorm. We will not sanction our ally Iackstorm and will try our best to prevent it from happening. Iackstorm simply rushed to Yaramaqui's aid after being invaded. And yes, Mr. Leon, I said invaded." he paused for a moment after these words.

"In the beginning, Al-Ahsa launched an invasion of Yosun, and regardless of casualties or whether it was welcome, it is still by definition an invasion. No wonder the Iacki government was concerned, as they are in a troubling region. Once Al-Ahsa deployed forces to Yaramaqui, they claimed it was aid. But by using the same definition, Al-Ahsa's unrequested presence in Yaramaqui is also an invasion."

"Now, I am not here to further divide the east and west. In fact, those are the dangerous terms that some leaders use that actually worsen the situation by simply dividing ourselves by culture or geography. I believe we should end using these terms to justify a nation or call out a group of nations, and instead see us as one human race."

"I believe it is in our best interest to simply work together and stop pointing fingers. That gets nothing done. But this isn't a single edged sword, Mr. Leon. Iackstorm may not be 100% innocent. But Al-Ahsa isn't either, and to say not is simply false. If Iackstorm withdraws, which I believe is the best movement now, Al-Ahsa isn't getting a get out of jail free card."

If you do not want to discuss the core of the issue I suggest you exit the room and take a breather." Issac now turned to Marzio.


"President Marzio you are simple wrong," Leon said, staring the leader in the face. "Yes, Yosun is an incident of questionable actions, but Smoya does not have any treaties with the nation and has no right to get involved in the regional area. Yaramaqui has not been invaded. Are they at war? No. The Yaramaqui goverment even wants Al-Ahsan help. Iackstorm has attacked with no proper justification at all. Like all the other nations who declared war your facts are wrong. Yaramaqui has not been invaded and Iackstorm has itself attacked." Leon himself paused. "You are so quick to act that you had the situation wrong. Yaramaqui is not under invasion. Iackstorm is the invader. I want peace too, but the facts are clear, Iackstorm is the aggressor, along with every other nation that rattled their sabers at the first roumurs of a false invasion."

Marzio cooly smiled. "We are here to discuss peace, not just call out Iackstorm. And if peace means punishing Al-Ahsa for their actions in Yosun as well, so be it. Peace cannot truly be made with your propositions. If you are here to discuss Iackstorm, that is fine, but you cannot deny Yosun's play into this escalation. Yosun's annexation raised fears over another invasion."

"I will most gladly negotiate with Iackstorm to withdraw their troops. But with you must do the same with Al-Ahsa."

Chancellor Pudikov arrived in the room walking quickly over to the table where the leaders of other nations sat. He then listened to the argument by Smoya and nodded his head in agreement. He was upset at these turn of events which caused a massive commotion in Aznazia and had the nation upset that Aznazia soldiers died defending a nation from a military force that was not "acting in a hostile way". A group of left wing Senators had already stated that they would hold the Chancellor responsible for ordering troops to attack Al-Ahsa troops that had begun to "occupy" the Yaramaqui against an "attack" from Iackstorm.

Ymira hid the two emotions she was feeling at the moment, embarrassment and anger. Here she was holding a vital meeting in her country and all the other leaders were drinking, laughing and playing music. She was deeply offended, if this were in the USJR, even if it was just some tiny problem, these leaders would be serious. The Soviets wouldn't stand for their behavior. Their behavior now made something very clear to Ymira, these people didn't respect her or Rezua. Drinking and partying during a important important meeting was just mocking her. She was the little fool of the world. Then the flint hit the steel in Ymira's mind and she clenched her fists but hid them behind her back. If she didn't control these people before the Soviets got here they'd think she was weak. "Excuse me!" Ymira shouted above the music "Is this how you act in all meetings. Partying and drinking? Do you know how many leaders find it offensive to be drinking and, for godsakes!, eating? Disrespecting me is one thing but disrespecting the importance of this meeting to stop a war is unacceptable. I don't care if you hate me but I demand that you give Rezua and this meeting the same respect you give to every other major country you meet with. Now please calm down before reporters start snooping around."

"Not everyone has shown up yet. What you are seeing is Zanerian culture. You may not think it is professional, and that we are pissing all over the importance of this meeting, but we will get serious when we have to be. Neutrons forbid a Zanerian can't have their fun," said Wart.

"This is not my meeting but I have been invited and will discuss what i have been tasked to discuss. My country have men going to war Mr. Rusk and it is my duty to discuss that situation before other diplomatic yak. Iackstorm is the pressing matter, which if not settled sooner then later, will lead to more bloodshed more then Yosun or the earthquakes that have already come to pass."

Issac now turned to Marzio. "And I will do the same, but we must all have the same facts, Iackstorm has attacked first. Period. Al-Ahsa has stated it will not take territory. Yaramaqui itself APPROVES of the aid. There is no invasion."

Don't try and tell me to kick out my ally when they are only expressing their view. I will listen to every side, East or West, I have allies in both and will treat both equally. Everyone's opinion is important. Now look, Iackstorm believed it did the right thing, Yosun was annexed and even I feared for Yaramaqui. But simply shooting wasn't the best thing to do. I don't want to say it but yes Iackstorm shot first. However, I do not want them heavily punished. After World War One Rezua was left to take all the blame and was severely punished and thus began the Second World War. I don't want Iackstorm to act like my grandfathers."

Ymira then turned to Mr. Gonzales "Sir, with all do respect enough. We do not eat in important meetings. My culture demands seriousness. But this isn't a culture battle. We are trying to stop a war, it needs focus. Not feasting. Now get those things out of my face, sit down and act like you care."

Ymira turned to Dean again "Calm the hell down. I'm not your parties bouncer, I will not make him leave. You want me to put my foot down, well here it comes. The USJR just so happens to be allies with several nations that the West were ready to fight. He is here justly just like the Smoyan and the Lindian representatives. I except you to listen to him and not yell louder than him."

President Rellăs Famél and his 4 bodyguards calmly entered the Rezuan palace and marched across it, admiring the view. Knowing where the summit was taking place and knowing that he was sort of late, the President of Sunrisia tried not to waste any more time and headed to the designated location as fast possible, also politely encouraging his bodyguards to hurry up as well. After having approached the door leading into the room, the bodyguards opened it and President Famél entered it. He said one big “Hello” to everybody and apologized for being late, as well as for interruption. Afterwards, the President approached to personally greet Ymira and then the rest of the foreign leaders in the room.

"What Iackstorm did was preemptive measures to secure the region from the aggressor, Al-Ahsa. There is not only one aggressor. There may be two. And an offensive measure to protect a nation that did not give permission for Al-Ahsa to enter their territory. As for Al-Ahsa saying they won't take land, did you see the map of the territory they annexed? And then they returned it, knowing they had made a mistake. Additionally, if Iackstorm is to withdraw, Al-Ahsa must leave Yosun. Can we agree on that?"

President Marzio greeted President Famél. "Hello. As you can see we are...having a little discussion about Iackstorm and Al-Ahsa."

President Rellăs Famél and his 4 bodyguards calmly entered the Rezuan palace and marched across it, admiring the view.
