The Caliph stated, "Perhaps you were not able to hear, or perhaps you chose not hear what I had just said. Within Yosun, the only areas with significant damage, like you are describing, is the north. The North has the lowest population in Yosun, and is the area where the majority of non-voters occurred. In the south, Roads are intact, there are no gas leaks and fires as you describe. Within the north, people went town to town, village to village, on the back of camel and horse, and collected votes of those who were able to do so. A world did exist before roads, before internet and television, and before computer polling. In fact, that world existed in Yosun and Al-Ahsa just a mere 50 years ago."

As the arguing rose again, Gonzales simply slipped back into his seat. "Put the tacos away. Apparently we're not finished." he whispered in Spanish to his butler. The butler nodded and pulled the taco truck away.

Gonzales spoke up again. "There is always a solution to this type of situation. You can all do your propositions, but I need to know if there is still going to be a second referendum."

"I have already stated, I will agree to a second referendum only after the millions in Azarah who are now homeless have a home to live in again. Once stability has returned, a second referendum will be held, but not until that point."

Looking around the table, he continued, "I direct this at no single nation, but as a warning to be heeded by all. Any attempt to force the Al-Masri Caliphate into complying with the wishes and desires of Western Powers will be viewed as an act of aggression. I have come here to negotiate, on good terms, peace between Iackstorm and the Caliphate and Eranshahir. As Iackstorm has agreed to withdraw their troops, so too have I."

Ooc: although i have no time and am typing on my phone, i will be making a short post. Also, i am changing my vote on sc res 4, but again, no time.

Ic: Diana started speaking "we are debating in circles. I agree with the caliph, that we should deal with a second referendum only after we rebuild from the earthquakes. I thank the delegate from mexico for taking the responsibility of leading the second referendum, and would like to say that rhodevus will help you in any way we can.
I for one do not like this east west comparison that has been going around. Rhodevus is west. That can not be debated. Yet, we are eastern allies. Let us all drop this hatred across borders.
