Rezuan Peace Summit (Sunalaya Only)

Postby Rezua » Tue Jun 30, 2015 3:22 pm

Due to the incident in Yaramaqui, concerning the Capitulate and Yosun Rezua finds it important to find out the truth. Truth is one thing that Rezua has not had for many decades, between corrupt rulers and bloody revolts. It seems truth is also eluding Sunalaya today, just as is peace. Rezua is having this meeting to keep peace in Sunalaya and to insure it does not have to choose one group of allies for another.

As the leaders from other nations were arrived they were escorted to the Royal Palace. Although it was magnificent the pure white marble was stained with black from gun powder. Shell holes still decorated some parts of the exterior. Around the palace skyscraper were under construction. Eomeria was slowly being rebuilt, bigger and better. Hundreds of stone-faced police officers guarded the palace. As the leaders got closer they could see a 7 foot tall granite monument that read:

Even If Names Are Forgotten
Even If Words Are Lost
Valor and Deed Shall Be Remembered
Rest In Peace, Soldiers of Rezua

There were people craved into it. On the top was Ymira, blood running down her face, her face in a shout, kneeling down, hand outstretched. Below her was the body of a woman, Zoey Hanji. The final battle of the war. Below them were soldiers, faces cheering. There was another craving on the left and right. On the left was a battle, Rezuan troops shooting their rifles at the right. On the right where Tsarist soldiers, their faces twisted into cruel smiles. And on the bottom was the craving of a man, Levi Rivalle, the hero of the war, the one who got the warning out. Dotted around the sides were the faces of other important people who had been killed, with them was George Smith the Commander in Chief of the Police. Each one was the same size, to mark their equal value. The Rezuan Soldiers were the biggest craving, showing their significance. Also under construction were two marble angels clasping swords that were flanking the palace's main entryway. They were already a fixed to the wall and their forms shaped as well as their wings they bore no face yet. Through the pillars of the palace stood a faintly smiling Empress Ymira Everen in a blue suit, hair in its usual braid. "Welcome." She would say as she greeted each leader or diplomat. After shaking their hand she'd say "Please go through the doors and up the stairs to the first door on the right.

Dean R. Rusk greeted Princess Ymira with a spiteful glance, ignoring her genuine kindness. "Hello," Dean pauses, "Ymira." Under his breath, Dean expressed his regret of coming to Rezua. He followed her directions, and continued through the doors, only to find a staircase. He climbed it with a bitter taste in his mouth, and found the first door on his right. He pushed the entrance open, and continued into the room. He was not sure what to expect, but this was definitely something...different, he felt. His wife, Annemarie Rusk, had a doctorate in architecture. Modeling her feelings, Dean felt inclined to dislike the architecture and style of the room, although in reality, he thought of it as more of a progressive effort for the nation of Rezua, considering that the hectic war had only finished months prior.

He pushed toward a chair near the end of the table, and sat, glancing down at the floors; he hadn't wanted to come to Rezua, but he knew it had to be done in order to maintain international peace, especially in Azarah, which needed the help of Vekalse and other Western nations more than ever. Staring at the wall, he looked out toward the statues below, and then focused on the skyline of Eomeria, which was recovering in a quick-pace. Lots for future skyscrapers scattered about, awaiting new construction. It seemed odd to Dean that Eomeria was getting such an investment from business, and then thought about how he would never invest in Rezua. To him, it seemed much too turbulent for business to survive, but on the contrary, he decided that it would come down to which business you were running.

However, he could tell that Rezua was beginning a build-up of forces, and he hated the thought of it, but he knew that eventually, people would actually begin to pay mind to this...nation. He chuckled at the thought of it, and then coughed, awaiting the other leaders. More than anything, he wanted to get the meeting done with, and not ever have to see Ymira for a long time, which gave him comfort. From his history, he knew that the Prior President, Julie, had said bad things about Ymira, which set up an image in his head. Although regretting his decision, he knew that this meeting was imperative.

"Grinning at the glory of our city?" Christina Everen asked as she pushed herself from the wall. She was dressed in a grey suit. She walked toward Dean and then asked "Or laughing at it?" Christina clasped her arms behind her back and faced the city "You can laugh at it, I don't care. I don't care what you think, what you hear, what you see. All that matters to me is what we think about it. We are proud of our nation whether she is built or she is bleeding. It is our home. It is my home, protecting my home is my only dream in life. "

Supreme James Vitchell was outraged by the decision made by those in the absence of him and many other members of the Reason Party. He would not bring the original Upvoters, as they would not help the meeting. There would surely be a new law where war would have to be agreed on during a full session of the Reason Party. With Supreme James Vitchell was Martha Jorgenson, Wart Celeland, Andrew Worns, and Shelley Worns. Shelley and Andrew were married, and well respected members of the Reason Party. Andrew is 47, Shelley is 46, Wart Celeland is 56, and Martha Jorgenson is 39. They were a part of the outraged group that were furious that the final decision made by those of the emergency meeting was war. They felt it was absurd that such actions were sent underway because of initial outrage. Of course, their decision was made by the initial news report stating nothing of humanitarian aid, but there was barely any information to go on.
"Nothing eases tension like tension-relievers. This case carries enough to soothe our Zanerian nerves, and that means me rolling this giant case!" exclaimed Wart Celeland, dragging along a very large suitcase on its wheels, the inside which contained an ice case.
"Don't just worry about the glass, worry about the papers too. Those papers are important, more important then any bottle in that case," said Martha Jorgenson.
"Ah, I wouldn't say that. Beor Vintage '58 is in this case, and I plan on cracking it out up front," explained Wart.
"Now now, let's greet Ymira and begin the meeting before we do anything like that," said Supreme Onerius.
"Hello there, Mir!" said Andrew Worns.
"Oh Andrew, you should rally preserve the nickname until you are at least acquaintances," said Shelley Worns.
"Oh, it's fine. Right, Mir?" asked Andrew.

Ymira shook their hands with a puzzled look on her face. Mir? Who was Mir? It took a moment to figure out it was the three middle letters in her name. Stupid her. "Hello all, welcome to Rezua. Go up the stairs and to the first door on your right. Oh and I guess Mir would be okay if this wasn't so important. You must call me Ms. Everen...well....forget my sister goes by that too. I'd leave those drinks downstairs if I were you." Ymira remained outside waiting for more leaders.

Dean had no response to this. In fact, he ignored her, not responding at all. It seemed as if he had heard nothing at all, however, when it seemed that he would carry on the silence, he took the upperhand. "You don't intimidate me. At all." He turned to reveal the girl's face. "I've heard of you. You know what I think about you?" He pauses. "I think you're useless. I know you have been jealous of Ymira, and personally, you shouldn't be." He takes a deep-breath before continuing. "Nothing special is of her. In fact, I'd much support someone else other than your family to lead Rezua, but if I had to choose, you would be in power." Dean collected himself as he readied himself for his next stab. "Don't even act like you're important; you're not."

With that, Dean turned around, continuing to wait for the other leaders.

"Oh man, I hadn't thought about the stairs! It'll be even harder to drag this thing!" exclaimed Wart.
"You wanted to bring all those along," said Shelley.
"I'll drag it, it's just that my muscles aren't what they used to be," complained Wart.
"What's with the elderly and complaining about being old?" asked Martha.
"Things like to break down around this time," said Wart, starting to lug the suitcase up the stairs.
"Mir-"
"Ymira," Shelley broke in.
"-said that you probably should leave that thing downstairs," finished Andrew.
"No way, I've already gone up five steps, I'm not turning back," said Wart.
"Alright, Shelley and Andrew to the left of me, Wart and Martha to the right. Andrew, then Shelley, then me, then Martha, then Wart. The case behind Shelley, which can be grabbed by Martha and then placed between Martha and Wart for distribution," explained Supreme James Vitchell.
"We'll have to get up the stairs first," said Wart, huffing and puffing.
"A few more steps and we'll be cleared," said Martha.
"Easy for you to say," said Wart.

President Marzio adjusted his tie before stepping out of his vehicle. Once he stepped out, he took a moment to admire the Rezuan palace, taking every little detail into account. Interesting, he thought. Marzio had never been to Rezua, nor did he ever plan to. This little visit was unexpected, and such on short notice. Despite that, he had planned to bring the region to peace without causing a massive world war resulting in tons of bloodshed.

"Pleasure to meet you for the first time," Marzio simply said and offered to shake Ymira's hand. He had heard about this young leader via news about the Rezuan Civil War, but never had actually contacted her in person. Although he had plenary of time to conduct more usual formalities, he simply walked into the palace and up the stairs to the door on the right. Much was to be done, and further formalities shouldn't have wasted any time.

Marzio silently walked to one side of the table, sitting down quietly. He said nothing to anyone besides a simple hello addressed to the entire room.

Christina said "Yet I'm the only one being professional. Not insulting the hostess would be a good thing. I wasn't taking to intimidate you. I usually lean on walls. If I meant to scare you I'd make a scrape of an aircraft wing into an axe and lie in wait for you to pass by in the snow to take you out. I'm no stranger to using creativity in war. I'm a valuable soldier. As for Ymira, she has held Rezua together. I doubt many others could. And the whole time she's humble about it. She only wants her role to be respected for the sake of Rezua. That's why she's special."

Ymira turned around and said "Please leave the drinks out of the meeting. You'll make me a laughing stock if you do. And please call me Ms. Everen. People will mock Rezua if you don't."

Speedy Gonzalez, Vice President of Mexico, arrived quickly in his chariot with his butler, who interpreted for him. Although Mexico was not involved in this war, Mexico wished to bring peace and tacos to the world instead, which was secretly part of President Nieto's plan to economic domination. He sent Speedy Gonzales to represent Mexico in the talks.

Once he approached Ymira outside, Speedy Gonzales said in a high pitched voice, "Hola señorita. I am here to represent the great nation of Mexico!" he said, throwing his arms into the air. He dashed upstairs to the meeting room and eagerly a spot. "Mexico has arrived!" he announced proudly.

His butler followed and greeted everyone with a simple "hola". Behind him, he had a barrel of fresh tacos and tequila.

After a quick hello to the Smoyan leader Ymira looked to see the Zanerians leaving. "Where are you going? I only asked for you to leave it outside of the meeting." Ymira said worried she'd angered them. Ymira jumped back as Speedy Gonzales ran right past her.

When the Smoyan President entered the door Christina turned to meet him "Hello good sir, I'm very glad you're here. You are a big part of all this and I'd like you help to solve it." When Christina saw the Mexicans she said "Hello sirs, please leave your food and drink outside for now."

"I'll take the first shot. I think I am most qualified to taste good tequila," said Wart, standing up the suitcase.

By now Ymira had regrouped with the others and nodded at Christina meaning "Ignore that ass go greet guests." Christina walked out and Ymira said "Gentlemen and ladies, this is not a drinking party, this is a meeting meant to stop a war."

"Haven't you ever heard of pre-event? This is where we meet people and create topics of conversation in a party. In international meetings it is when we meet people and conversate before the meeting begins and during the Arrival Sequence. Keeps people from getting bored. Quite textbook," said Andrew.
