Welcome to the Columbus Academy, a prestigious boardingschool for boys and girls located just outside the city of Rome, Italy. For almost two centuries, Columbus Academy has produced highschool graduates which then went on to study at renowned universities across the globe. Our students come from wealthy, or even Royal backgrounds, others coming from average households and some joining us with a stipendium for their outstanding work.
Located on a new, modern campus where modern architecture meets Renaissance features, Columbus Academy offers maximum accomodation for its students. With a swimming pool, a gymnasium, five tennis courts, two soccer fields, two basketball fields, a vast golf course and a polo field and hockey field, Columbus Academy offers a wide range of sporting activities across its campus.
Alongside the different sporting activities, the campus, too, offers a cinema, two restaurants, a sushi bar, a small supermarket and a school boutique, in which school items such as uniforms, books, backpacks and others can be purchased.
Columbus Academy also offers a wide range of faculties, such are the Faculty of Drama, the Faculty of Modern Languages, the Faculty of Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics, the Faculty of Social Studies, the Faculty of Visual Arts and the Faculty of International Relations.
Located approximately 30 minutes from the coast and 8 minutes from the city, the students have a wide variety of recreational purposes, such as visiting the cultural city center of Rome, the beach or simply to go shopping in The Eternal City as Rome is also known.
Columbus Academy offers two different educational programmes, that of the Republic of Italy, and the International Matura, a diploma internationally recognized.
