The food was being served. Prince Fritz seemed as comfortable as if he was at home in these surroundings. In fact Fritz didn't live in any palace like area. He lived on a base in a house like any other officer.

These sorts of diplomatic trips were the closest he got to living the Royal life. "The food looks great, Your Majesty."

The Prince quietly thanked the servants who laid down the meal in front of him before returning to address the Emperor.

"So I wanted to compliment you on establishing a luxurious palace. As a Vangazi, you know fine wood is a hobby. We are the descendants of great ship builders. We see woodcraft as fine art, and you have nice woodworking here."

Nonchalantly, he brought up the question, "Does your nation have much of a lumber trade? Any importing or exporting?"

Emperor Schreiber, in a happy tone, answered, "Well, we've begun Exporting Nordan Red Trees, Home to our State of Columbus 's Forested regions, Their wood is some of the Most Luxurious and Beautiful Lumber in all of the Empire." As he took a Sip of Beer.

"Ah, that's the type huh? Norman Red. Yes we have all types of wood. Some of the nicest, but most practical is of the Vannish Oak variety."

He took a quick drink of wine, not swirling it or anything but still showing manners.

"The old longboats were made of Vannish Oak. Of course these trees were around long before Vangaziland existed. They used to be called Old Cross Oak, after the early missionaries who built with them."

Content with his quick history moment, he started to dig into his food, savoring each small bite.

A Servant came around with a bottle of Wine, pouring it into the Emperor's Glass, as he Silently thanked the Servant, he came around asking if they would Like some more. While he did, Schreiber asked, "Well, I assume we should begin talking Diplomacy and the such."

"But first", Hitoro replied, "Let us not forget the Sake!". He pulled the concealed bottle out of his jacket pocket. He set his bottle in the middle of the table and re-adjusted his seating.

"I am not one to neglect the important business. I feel we should address your nation's recent military advances, Emperor"

"Well, we've completed a little Surprise." Emperor Schreiber would then pull out a Tablet, containing an Image of a Satellite. "ENCLAVE", We've decided to call it, because of it, We haven't seen a Border Skirmish in 4 Months.", He replied to Hitoro.

"I'm all for that. Deterrence is the way to go." Prince Fritz finished his wine and started eyeing the sake. "Vangaziland came so close to total war. Our neighbor had set up an illegal blockade against an allied nation. Right away, they started sending troops and fighter jets to our border."

The look on the Prince's face perked up, as he was enjoying the story. The Emperor and our generals simply ran a few drills, surfaced a few subs.... Put a few bombers on courses towards their cities... And then suddenly the illegal blockade was gone and the threat of war had subsided. It's a dangerous world out there, with all these warmongers."

"Though, an Orbital Platform armed with Hundreds of Tons of Death, That's more than enough for us." He replied, jokingly. "Though..", He continued, "We sometimes have to Re-position the Satellite, when we Expand Further into Surrounding lands."

OOC: It appears I am way too late to join the party. Well, this isn't going to look good for me, now isn't it? Oh well, I'll give it a crack.

Much later on, yet another helicopter could be seen and heard from the exterior of the palace, it being black in colour, with a rather unusual set of roundels present amongst its sleek body. The Kamov Ka-60 would gently make its way to a free helipad, joining the rest of the helicopters already present and accounted for upon the palace's grounds. Upon closer inspection, a distinguishable flag, although very simple in appearance should allow for anyone outside to recognise the nation of which the helicopter is serving under. It appears to be serving for the Federal Republic of Makmuira.

Inside of the passenger compartment, towards the back would sit two seemingly prominent figures, a male and female. The male, wearing a typical black tweed suit with a yellow and black tie with the national sash worn over the top would appear to be Makmuria's current Head of State, President Sir Kane Sugiartama. Next to him would sit a rather timid and silent figure, dressed in an equally formal way to her male counterpart. She'd be dressed in a dark purple long-sleeved dress with a black blazer on top and matching high-heels with a cyan sash worn over her. It would appear to be the President's wife, Vera Sugiartama. Both would sit close by, chatting to each other quietly. President Sugiartama looks to his wife, speaking gently. "I wonder what waits for us down there, love? It's such a large and lavish compound, yet... I feel so under-dressed. Hm - Well, it was either my typical suit here, or my service dress and seeing as I am here on diplomatic terms, the civilian get-up plays suit." Vera only makes a small nod, speaking in a meek voice "Yes... You still look very handsome and professional in your suit." President Sugiartama cannot help but crack a smile over hearing this, responding humbly. "Well... I am all about diplomatic relations and missions for our nation."

Within moments the helicopter would make its landing on a spare pad, doing so gracefully and gently, all in the best efforts to remain presentable and professional. The first two figures to exit the craft would appear to be the two forms of security personnel to watch over the two dignitaries. Both of them dressed in formal dress uniforms of Makmuria's Army. Distinguishable by their dark green suits and slouch hats. Both appear to be wearing Sam Browne belts, indicating that these two are Commissioned Officers. Both emerge from the craft standing guard at either side of the door with an attentive stance, both wielding L1A1 SLRs with original wooden furnishings and a chromed bayonet on top. This could be seen as odd, as bringing a rifle as a choice or rifle may seem unnecessary, toppled over the fact that their very rifles seem quite long and unwieldy. Both would also be openly wearing standard pistol holsters upon their Sam Browne belts, of which seem to be the 'lethal' weapons on hand, seeing at the rifles are just there for the ceremonial role.

Both President Sugiartama and First Lady Sugiartama disembark the craft, the President not requiring assistance and being able to deplane with ease, stopping for a moment to assist his wife. With both dignitaries out in the open, the two guards would take their places along side them, moving in unison up the path leading to the Palace's entrance. The two would walk arm in arm, President Sugiartama looking around at his surroundings with a great sense of interest nestled with a sense of concern, seeing as there's nobody else outside. "Surely being late would be an embarrassment..." He pondered to himself worryingly enough. In contrast to this open sense of exploration and of the social setting to be had at the party, Vera would be looking down upon herself, towards the cobbled path that they are converging upon. She'd be visibly quiet throughout the trek, nodding gently to whatever her husband says about his surroundings. She clearly isn't a people person and an event like this would be enough to make her feel uncomfortably and visibly clingy to her spouse.

The entourage of Makmurians, the two soldiers on either side of the President and First Lady halt at the main entrance, standing there still. Unsure as to what to expect when entering or even over the prospect of being greeted.

As the group within the Palace continued with their conversation of Diplomacy and other Entertaining topics, a group of the Emperor's Personal Guardsmen, hailing from the Order of St. Sangerhousen, being the Most Elite of the Guardsmen, known for their Distinct Black and Gold trimmed Ceremonial Uniforms. They stood outside, among the Hochmeister of Saint Sangerhousen, as they went to approach the Makmurian Diplomats.
