Excidium, the misdesignation of our ships ICly can be attributed to Singaporeans being sick of traditional desgnations. it can also give us tactical advantage of confusing enemies.

Well, in a bizarre way that makes sense. Except we'd probably just pay more attention to ship size, anyways. Some nation's battleships are the size of our cruisers and some nations have destroyers bigger than our warp ships, so we don't really care what they are called. We reassign designations based on size. The same as our ships pretty much, except Scimitar sized ships fall under "battleship class" and 3 km - 10 km falls as "dreadnought class". Anything between 10 and 80 kilometers is "super dreadnought class". 100 - 1000 kilometers would be "battlestation class", and above 1000 would be "planetoid class".

Also, Aeiouia, this might disrupt our war... maybe. Depends on how the battle goes, really. We out number Atomic Utopias fleet by like 300 : 1, but that includes civilians, we really only outnumber 2 : 1 in military ships, and that includes fighters and corvettes. Plus, only a few nukes have to hit to kill millions on Reckoner.

Oh, and PTFS, I have a recommendation for creating a title. First write your OP, than find a line that stands out to you or a phrase that sums up what occurred. Titles are the least important part of writing a good story and yet they are often the hardest thing to make.

For that reason, once word of the conflict gets out, we are probably going to try to join the fray. On your side. Since we are very good at intercepting and blocking missiles. Even though you are about to attack us, Aeiouia would still want to take action to prevent the deaths of civilians on the Reckoner.

And the insane Admiral's goal is to kill as many as possible to get a war between Excidium Planetis and Atomic Utopia started and thus cause the extermination of every last Excidium Planetis citizen. He knows that the Excidium Planetis fleet will wipe the floor with his fleet, thus he wants to kill as many as he can to make war inevitable.

He is insane if you cannot already tell.

Our "barbaric" practices prepare us quite well for these things, actually.

Plus, I believe it will be at least two months IC before our Dawn Fleet learns of anything. The fleets have to be at least 20 lightyears apart, if not more. You might learn of it faster than us, maybe, and might be able to raise an alarm. That is, if you somehow had ships where this is taking place, without us having detected your ships.

We have the scientifically-impossible instantaneous, FTL communications system, and the Atomic Utopia does as well. If either the insane general or the Atomic Loyalists send out a transmission, we will detect it.

No, 40% are, the rest are lightly armed Troop/Cargo Transports, assorted laser platforms, and three Avagradro Class Battlecriusers. I will make certian to update that and include all of the ship specs in my factbook, sorry about that. At least I rememberd to do this BEFORE my ships entered the same system as the Excidium fleet.

Sort of. Although, the real reason for the ORBAT change is that I wanted to switch our battleship out for a support vessel, since it would be more useful with the large number of allied ships. And, since a lot of enemy fighter craft are being deployed (Mainly from you), I decided to swap out the Avatar with Procnes.
