So, how poetic is this equivalent exchange of magic rule? Could I have a factory of dudes winding up crossbows to make self-firing crossbow bolts, or does it need to be more personal? And if it's personal, van comparative advantage be exploited, or does magic fight back against that?

Please be aware that you will be hunted like the pitiful animals you are, and we will not stop hunting you until every last one of your citizens is working in our slave camps or dead in a pit. We know full well that we will unleash a gale of powerful and semi-powerful angry mechanocratic nations upon ourselves. Why'd you think we bothered applying in the first place? We love war, we knew you weren't going to accept us, and we also knew that if you chose to go to war with us you'd bring in a bunch of allies.

Congrats, a nation of multiverse eating dominaeii wannabees decided to hate us. We have been prepared for this since the day we faced the Dominaeii alongside the most defiant nations in Existence. Your ships will burn, multiverses burning in our wake. Your tech will melt in your hands. Your entropy will die, as we for aeons have fought it. We are the Cyberiad. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. The only way to fight entropy is to freeze your entire nation to absolute zero and keep it that way for all of eternity. Entropy is literally inside your bodies, inside your tech, inside the cells that allow you to think that you are fighting entropy.

That is, unless you operate at absolute zero 24/7, and your citizens work and live that way for their entire lives. Entropy is what causes you to live, and it is there even when it isn't obvious. It will exist long after your deaths, until the day the universe tears its apart under the strain of trillions of years of entropy, and it will be present across the Omniverse for all of eternity.

We may not have allies (unless the Domanaeii follow through on that diplomacy thing we had going on earlier...), but we don't particularly need them. And if the Domaneii does follow through on said request, we'll have them and possibly Korona on our side. So this definitely won't be easy for you.

Figured it was the Cybermen (given you repeated their name in the paragraph), but I couldn't be sure since I've only watched two episodes and a parody video of Doctor Who in my entire life.

Forces that gain power from entropy are pretty arbitrary, so against those it's fine for me to violate conservation of energy to counter it, which is also fairly arbitrary. Sublime Peace does this. How? Doesn't matter.

Okay. But Star Trek has seven TV series, twelve movies ranging from moderately successful to amazingly successful, and a third movie coming out that will probably fall into the second category, not to mention another series coming out that's managed to gather some hype.

Of course, we can argue for the next ten 500-page LoM threads if they were to exist, but neither of us will ever convince the other that our franchise is better than the other's franchise, because hat's not how fans' minds operate. Besides, I've recently started watching the newest series of Doctor Who, so no worries.

We don't necessarily gain power from entropy, but we utilize it for some weaponry and many might classify us as entropists. We also tend to support entropist nations over orderly ones, but we may occasionally support an orderly nation if they're omnicidal maniacs bent on mass slaughter and conquest like us.
