So, the clarification that he literally tried weed clarifies that it was no joke that he tried weed.

It isn't just not cool. It's downright debilitating sometimes. Having to click Command and then clicking to move units in StarCraft because Macs lack a second mouse button is just plain dumb. Minecraft has the same issue: Why would I want to have to hit another button when on PC I can just click one?

And then there's the lack of a decent built-in paint program, and Safari sucks (granted, Internet Explorer also sucks, but the Mac certainly doesn't get bonus points for being equally bad), and I really don't like the Mac aesthetic. It reminds me of hospitals for some reason.

In all seriousness, my main rig is Windows 7. But I swear by running either Arch or Ubuntu on all of my other machines. I never really liked any MacOS, personally.

You are not stupid, GIMP just takes some time to get used to. It confused me a lot the first time I tried it as well. But, I would highly recommend using GIMP for NS pixel art and stuff. Granted, the images that I made for Aeiouia are pretty terrible. Although that is due to a complete lack of artistic ability on my part, not the program itself.

I would recommend playing around with the "Pathing Tool" to start off if you want to draw lines. It is a bit complex compared to the line tools of other programs, but it is still quite usable. I used it to draw this shitty picture of Aeiouia's leader, for instance.

Most of the other tools and functions of GIMP you will probably never use, though. I rarely touch anything outside of the Pathing Tool and the Bucket Fill Tool myself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one mentioned Windows. PC was talked about, but you run Linux on PCs, right? I don't remember if you can run Linux on a Mac (probably you can), but doing so would likely still be inferior to running it on a PC.
