Today astounding news caused Coryna's internet usage to spike to an all time high. It is a well known fact that the monarchy used to be an integral part of Corynari government and society until approximately two hundred years ago, when Thorir II became tyrant, caused terror and civil war. His daughter ascended the throne and ruled, generally considered a great queen- but she would be the last. The new Chancellor had seen his brother killed by Thorir, and in return murdered the queen and abolished monarchy. Her youngest sister fled, and the missing descendants have caused mystery and controversy. Today, a claimant to the throne arose. Katarina Sforzi, 27, claims to have been in hiding for years. She submitted DNA to geneticists who confirmed her heritage. She stated, "The Chancellor banished the monarchy in order to seize power. I am here to claim that power and again become what is deserved- the spokesperson of Coryna." Her campaign comes with a period of government instability, mainly a recent protest in Desern. Several citizens of Desern, which was acquired in a military acquisition, wish to be independent or be tax exempt, causing strain with other cities. The most recent conflict had several deaths when officials attempted to build a bus station, unknowingly, over a cemetery, causing riots.
The government responded to the claim with a statement to have Sforzi arrested for illegal immigration due to her lack of a birth cerificate and passport, and a manhunt has been issued for this "threat to public safety."
HS Aziz Cerule stated in Jhuya Maris that "While I have pity for this girl's unfortunate circumstances, monarchy was abolished long ago and will stay this way." She had no comment for the growing support Sforzi is gathering, and though Cerule is a popular leader, several citizens were enraged with her statements.
Desernese citizens are joining together to protest government management of the harsh winter, which has caused disease and food shortages. Rebel "Commander" Erran Corse told CIBN that "We Desernese will take no more." More later on CIBN.

Election Exit Poll

After 4 gripping weeks of the election the people have voted and we have an exit poll, that puts the CUP on 62 seats, and the WLP on 58 seats! This leaves the SDP, the ruling party from last parliament, on 50 seats, and has the PEO on 9 seats. The WCP, despite being low in opinion polls, are predicted to be on 19 seats at the end on the night, with the TUP and WPP both on 1 each. The new REP are estimated to be on 5, however this must be hedged with caveats as they have never ran before.

All this leaves many questions as to how the CUP will be able to form a majority, if these numbers are right, as due to close nature of the numbers, the WLP could still be in lead!

New Projects and Scientific Advances

With new technology becoming available, the military has jumped aboard a revolutionary new concept. An Exoskeleton Suit designed to enhance a soldiers strength and durability in combat. However, since the desired result is too advanced for the modern era, a team has begun to develop a suit.



This Design is being called the Shyntac (thunder) suit. Basing it off of existing assisting suits in the Doman arsenal, they expect to have a working prototype combat ready by 2035. The Shyntac suit is expected to run the military about 2.3 Million USD to develop a working design. They however do not see a mass produced version until ~2040-50.

In Other news, The Doman Space Administration (DSA) has announced it will be launching a new Satellite into orbit. This will be the 3rd Doman Satellite to enter orbit (the first one in 1997 and second in 2003). The Satellite is a military communications and imagery satellite, designed to provide faster relays to troops and command structures.



Test flights have been going on for 5 weeks. They plan on having the satellite into orbit and functioning by November 21st. The 760million USD project is expected to provide higher quality communications for naval units and to achieve a new level of military strategy they are just beginning to embrace and exploit.

The Bionic Eye, Gruesome Photos of AMBER leaked

Researchers at Chauveau University have developed a new medical breakthrough that helps a blind person see. The “Bionic Eye” takes a video signal from a camera built into sunglasses and wirelessly transmits that image to implants in the retinas of people who have lost their vision. César Duchamps, lead researcher and scientist of the bionic eye told PNN, " Bionic eye provides electrical stimulation of the retina to induce visual perception in blind individuals. It is indicated for use in patients with severe to profound retinitis pigmentosa. A miniature video camera housed in the patient's glasses captures a scene. The video is sent to a small patient-worn computer (i.e., the video processing unit – VPU) where it is processed and transformed into instructions that are sent back to the glasses via a cable. These instructions are transmitted wirelessly to an antenna in the retinal implant. The signals are then sent to the electrode array, which emits small pulses of electricity. These pulses bypass the damaged photoreceptors and stimulate the retina's remaining cells, which transmit the visual information along the optic nerve to the brain, creating the perception of patterns of light. Patients learn to interpret these visual patterns with their retinal implant."

At least almost half of Warsawyev's smokers turned in their cigarettes, while those did not had their property seized and were sent to labor camps been sent for community service and labor, along with education on smoking.

As well as smoking, Eurania has officially closed its borders to immigration, along with emigration. Trespassers will be prosecuted harshly by punitive labor in prison camps but fairly. Emigrants will have the same fate.

César Perreault, Commander of CPS-43 has released a statement concerning the leaked photos showing human experimentation.

In other news, In protest of President Antoinette's neglect to help out Voyageur, citizens have begun wearing gas masks to show just how severe the cities pollution is. Children are wearing them to school, thousands of people on the street can be seen with them on, even the news reporters were wearing them earlier this morning.

ENSS Red Unbroken, completed just days ago, left Zvesgov this morning to begin sea trials in the northeast of the Kavju Sea. The all-new nuclear powered missile submarine will be testing its endurance in its main aspects and will also be testing its weapons. The area for the operations will be mostly in Euranian waters, but as a test, the sub will also traverse into international waters for tests unrelated to weaponry.

Communist Coup Successful

Yesterday the old capitalist government was overthrown after a civil war that killed thousands. The historic overthrowing was also the end of French colonial rule on the islands, ending 167 years of brutality and racism by the white minority. General Kerimoglu has announced that he will keep charge of the nation before polling that will begin soon.

The civil war had been raging for three years, and plunged the nation into an anarchic state similar to Mali. Both sides committed horrific crimes and the government forces used gas at several confirmed battles. The new leader, General Kerimoglu, has promised to lessen corruption and injustice which plagued the old regime.

School Shooting in Gaëllestadt

Today, at 8:45 A.M, two armed people attacked East Gaëllestadt Private School. The school attacked happened to hold Jean Bretz daughter, Charlotte Bretz who was killed by the attackers. Investigators caught the two, and revealed to Remodiss Central News that they were parents of a French child who set out to kill the mainly German school. RCN happened to be able to interview Jean Bretz, defacto leader of the Liberal Party. He was quite angry and stated that "These murderers will not be forgotten; The Remodiss Council will not hear the last of this until this fighting is stopped or at least lowered. The 3rd National Cabinet of Bhumidol has issued the following Regular Public Announcement, following advisory from the Ministry of Oceanic and Atmospheric Affairs

At 14:39 on Monday, November 16th, 2015, the Meteorological Department at Kanchenjunga Base Camp has issued a Blizzard Warning for Kanchenjunga, and the Eastern Nikayas of Thangameru Anganupa.

Current conditions are showing minor snow showers across the region, with one heavy squall line moving through the southern Nikayas of Kanchenjunga Metropolitan Authority.

Starting at around 22:00 today, a low pressure system associated with the Bhumhalese Winter Monsoon is expected to move west northwest and stall over the Eastern Mahayakshnas. Over a period of 20-28 hours from late this evening to late at night on November 17th, 2015, heavy snow rates of 2-4 centimeters, as well as sustained winds of 60 - 90 kph (with gusts up to 120 kph) will be widespread throughout the region, making Marmana Pass impassable.

Citing the hostile conditions created by the storm, the National Cabinet has ordered the closing of Marmana Pass from 04:00 Tuesday Novemeber 17th to 16:00 Wednesday November 18th. Citizens and travelers are advised to plan accordingly, and stay indoors during the passing of this storm. An estimated 64 - 110 centimeters of snow is expected to fall over the region over the life of the currently evolving blizzard.

The blizzard is expected to begin subsiding early Wednesday morning, leaving most of the region with light snow for the remainder of the day.

Foreign travelers are reminded that Marmana Pass is the sole route connecting Kanchenjunga with the rest of Bhumidol, and to plan accordingly.

Operation spear head's final day.
Operation spear head was the largest military training exercise in Dopplerian history consisting over 10,000 troops, 23 ships, and over 125 aircraft. The operation was annoucned 3 weeks ago after New Aapelistans invasion on the South Dopplerian Isles. The exercise was 2 weeks long ending today. The exercise took place on the isle of mist in Andersite, a restricted airspace and restricted waters to all nations. The objective of the operation was to train armed forces members on how to defend against an amphibious assault, how to do large scale amphbious assaults, and all around combat tactics. The largest day was day 9 when they launched an amphibious assault from 3 ships too take a beach, they then proceeded for the next 6 hours to take a small remake of a town which took an overall of 3 hours, followed by an additional 2 by securing the area around it and setting a 2km wide perimeter. Airstrikes and a paratrooper support also took place during that day.

"The operation is to train our men and women on how to fight in these situations andd to train them properly. What happened in the South Dopplerian Isles is what triggered our motives on how to train to be on the defensive on what happenes in a situation like that, and how to be on the offensive. We need to know how to execute these missions properly whether its defending our allies or defending our nation as a whole," states General Eddie Lee-Chan.

The operation mainly consisted of amphibious assualts on the first 4 days but was quickly followed by airstrikes and jungle warfare type missions. Military Officials say that the operation could have gone better under some circumstances, executing beach landings better is an example of one. Along with the operation came nuclear fallout and chemical situation training. General Eddie Lee-Chan said that the nuclear and chemical situation training was flawless and is said to be perfectly executed. "We will defiantly be ready for anything that comes are way." The idea was born a while ago. The nations of Great-Imperialonia and Youkraneana had much in common. They had an important location at the southern coast of the Nova Sea (and Far Nova Sea). Consuls Wessel and Melas and President Miller (of the former state of Youkraneana) both agreed that a uniting proces in a union would be smart, since they would increase their regional influence very much.

What will this mean to the nations and their governments? Well, the nation’s governments stay the same. So the two royal consuls will stay, the senate will stay and the ministers will stay. Although we now have also influence over the land of Youkraneana. And their government has the same executive powers over our former nation as we have. There is also a General Assembly, that assembly will be elected very quickly and the party with the most votes can choose the Governor-General, who is also the leader over the General Assembly.

The High Assembly is a council that exists of the most important ministers of the both (former) countries and they may decide over issues that concern both parts of Imperialonia-Youkraneana. The governemnts of the both parts of Imperialonia-Youkraneana will also stay and still have powers over their part of the Union, although the higher politics may overrule their decisions at any time.

The currency of Royal is banished in Great-Imperialonia. For the next month you can still pay with it but you must change it as soon as possible for Novae, the new currency of Imperialonia-Youkraneana. Untill the General Assembly is chosen the two governments of the nations will stay in power.

Update on Domanania fued

Ongoing tension between the PPU and our northern once close ally Domania have grown has Domania troops have pushed faster south towards the protected oil fields in the disputed western lands. The two nations are also currently at a naval stand off in the northern four passages sea. Citizens have begun showing their distaste for the nation by taking down all Domananian flags around the nation, including those atop the national churches of Dominium. Heavy military presence is now in Rivere, something President Antionette initially tried avoiding. However with the proximity of the city with Domania troops, It seems the only option is to heavily guard it.

CPS's involvement in the dispute is currently unknown however it is unlikely the organization will get involved unless things escalate. They have however participated in security missions along the border via surveillance fly overs. The Penuche Droit party is pushing for the creation of a wall between the two nations however the over ruling Libertaire party says otherwise. What will unfold next is unpredictable as so far both Domania and the PPU have acted sporadically.

Komig, a military city of Eurania, has been the site of secrecy. Military personnel and scientists are the only inhabitants of the city. Famous aircraft (as stated per above) have been tested at Komig. The show has boosted tourism in Eurania.

Brutal terror attack!

Samadhi, the capital city of Bhikkustan, was rocked yesterday by a brutal terrorist attack. The attack took place at the Masheran hospital, the main one in Samadhi. The attack took place at 8:13 am when three men detonated suicide belts and killed 50 people in the main lobby. After this, the police arrived and managed to save several people from the wreckage. Another two militants ran through the hospital, killing staff and patients. The total death toll was 254 people dead, with another hundred wounded.

This event has been claimed by the Islamic group Aljhad Aljazira, who have caused many problems for the nations of the Western Isles for a long time. It is believed that this event has been a result of the unfair treatment by the Buddhist government, who have been criticised by many for their unfair treatment of the Islamic and Christian Minorities. People hope that this will be a turning point in the treatment of the minorities in Bhikkustan. To most Bhikkus however, it is a tragic day in our nation's history.

A memorial will be held in a few days. Our hearts go out to those who have lost family or friends in this terrible tragedy, and hope that their next lives will be happy.

Ministry of Economy: Brain Trust enacts period of Tight Money in Fourth Quarter

Kanchenjunga, KMT, Bhumidol - 23:12 - Earlier today, the Brain Trust of the Ministry of Economy had followed up on its earlier promise to instate a tight monetary policy around the fourth quarter. Concerns about rapid economic growth with rapid expansion of trade with the People's Federation of Domanania, along with concerns to raise the revenues of the national treasury have prompted the Ministry of Economy to start selling government bonds, and raising monetary interest rates by 0.7%.

The National Cabinet has promised the public an economic growth rate target of 2.3%, a balance which it says will keep unemployment low and keep income inequality stable.

However, experts from the Ministry of Welfare have noted that more needs to be done to address the income inequality in the nation's rural and minority regions. "The government's quasi-socialist, nationalist policies, though good in its intentions, have resulted in economic stagnation for much of Bhumidol's rural and minority regions", Dr. Kyaw Ag, university professor at Kanchenjunga University, and member of the Ministry of Welfare's Economics Committee. "It is true that our's is a very traditional nation, and that we still revere our past culture, but no amount of reverence will make people overlook the possibility for better lives."

Dr. Ag however agreed that a wholly capitalist solution for Bhumidol wouldn't be beneficial either. "What the government should focus on committing to is expanding Special Economic Zones, and creating new ones. Several cities, such as Srithanipatna and Mayanagar are centers of capital and intelligestia for many of Bhumidol's down-caste minority groups. If the government is truly concerned about preserving our culture, we need to take balanced approach in slowly introducing capitalism, instead of treating the system as a coldly calculable in-and-out system for the nation's treasury; one of the biggest issues in our nation today is in fact the rising income inequality between the nation's dominant and minority ethnicities."

After a 2 day delay, the Doman Project to launch the Tactical and Naval satellite into space finally left the platform.



The rocket took off at 4 o'clock pm and the satellite was detached and began to send signals by 5:30pm. Celebrations were made as the first naval vessels connected to the new tactical hub.

Following the monetary changes of the Bhumidolese economy, several traders have set up trading posts in port markets and the government is lobbying to the Bhumidolese government to set up an official, Doman government controlled trading post on their soil. This is a move designed to give Doman traders a platform to launch from and would not have to wait for a space in the already crowded ports.

With the new tactical satellite up, they have begun aggressive moves closer to the Pacifier troops. Several naval skirmishes have already occurred, with no reported casualties. Navy successfully tests new missiles

EXCALIBUR Block I missile launched

At 19:00 this evening, the Commonwealth Navy announced the successful test launch of its latest set of defensive missiles.

The Commonwealth Navy conducted a live-fire test within the Franco-Albion region of the Mesder Sea.

The Navy conducted the test as part of its evaluation of new counter-ballistic missile systems, which the Commonwealth has been lacking in recent years.

Testing the Excalibur missiles, developed by UAS, the Navy launched the weapons from a Vertical Launcher System aboard one of the navy's latest Destroyers.

A spokesman said that the missile, targeting a specialised drone posing as a ballistic threat, was successfully destroyed by the system during the enemy missile's "cruise" phase.

Launching from a base on the mainland, the Navy's specialist radar quickly picked up the threat and, after a data link with an infra-red tracking satellite, begun tracking the target.

Within 30 seconds of its launch, the "missile" was confirmed as a "threat" by naval forces and EXCALIBUR - the region aerospace defence network.

50 seconds into its flight, the Navy launched the Excalibur Block II missile from a Commonwealth destroyer, destroying the "missile" less than two minutes into its flight.

The EXCALIBUR Block I achieved similar results, destroying a separate drone during the "boost" phase of its flight.

"It is an important development in our defence capabilities," - Vice Admiral Sir Daniel Woodcock, Second Sea Lord of the Commonwealth Navy.

"Our Excalibur missiles are an important part of our defence network, being able to counter ballistic missile threats."
