This is a special report coming straight from Gran Teran where Congress addressed the invasion by San Montagna calling it a "cowardly" and "punishable" attack. The President spoke strongly against the invasion and has called for the enacting of sanction against the foreign state. Before now, San Montagna and San Jimenez had few relations, but now San Jimenez has officially terminated relations and has backed its allies. Canone went live on TV expressing his anger against the invaders and has promised Athara Magarat any needed resources for its defense. San Jimenez clearly stated that the country will not go to war unless Jimenean prestige is directly attacked or that of its prominent allies. The president had this to say:

Citizens of San Jimenez, we will devotedly stand by Athara Magarat in this dark hour that taints the world today. I am proud to declare the when Jimenean efforts are needed, we as a nation will be gladly willing to offer those resources to whomever with a righteous cause! At the moment, not cause is greater than the defense of peaceful homes and the way of life of Athara Magarat. We have to do more! I plead to Congress that more is done. We must not allow the tyrant to rule the hour, we as Jimeneans cannot allow that. If fighting is required to protect our allies, we must be willing to do so and quickly!

Not only the government condemned San Montagna, the Church has also addressed its concerns and opinions. The Church stated that an "enemy of the world" was made when San Montagna began its violent assault against the peaceful and innocent people of Athara Magarat. Cardinal Colquitt had this to say about the attack:

Fellow Jimeneans and fellow Catholics of the Isles, the news of the invasion made by San Montagna has clearly alarmed many countries. I would like to address the government of San Montagna first above all things, the light and will of the people of Athara Magarat and its allies will not be extinguished by the darkness that engulfs the Isles today! WIth full faith and determination, the evil committed by your government will be repulsed and the light of Christ will be evident for all to see! We must not give in to the evil and we must not rest until our peace and well-being is secured for God is on our side in this conflict. I would next like to address Catholics of every nation of the Isles. I call upon all of you, no matter where you may be, to resist San Montagna, resist its will to impose its war on others! Rise up against the evildoers of San Montagna! My final remark will be to San Montagna and the rest of the Isles as well, the Jimenean Church will not be silent! We will not be silent! This Church will work tirelessly until the light of Christ shines like a beacon throughout the Isles! Finally, I would like to call for solidarity amongst the nations of the world against evil. Do not be afraid and resist evil wherever it lies! Thank you!

Parliament passes sanctions against San Montagna

ARANI - Today, Parliament unanimously passed a round of sanctions on San Montagna for its unprovoked attack of Athara Magarat. The sanctions include the complete blockage of food, raw materials, machinery and electronics imports, and allows the arrest of any officials or their relatives on Daskan soil. President Contie signed the law right away, and called for a denunciation to be passed as soon as possible. He called the nation an "uncivilized brute" and called for the reinstatement of the "true democratic order." The Foreign Ministry moved the nation to the "Hostile" category, and issued a travel advisory on the whole of San Montagna.
Soon after signing the sanctions, President Tramer made a statement on the situation there:

Whereas we understand the popular will of the people is an important factor to consider, we denounce the undemocratic takeover of government. We will work with the international community to end this threat, and install a new democratic government. We also denounce this surprise war on Athara Maragart, and the needless loss of life that will most certainly take place. Whilst we implore that a diplomatic solution be taken into account, San Montagna has shown its inability to suppress its garish feelings. We have put the military on high alert, and hope that the League will expel San Montagna for the duration of the fascist government.

Foreign Minister Frelands also made a statement:

Dasko unilaterally denounces San Montagna's takeover of the former government. We will not recognize the new fascist government in any way, shape or form. We also have put a travel advisory around the South Mesder Sea; it is a warzone. We will support any League resolutions that condemn San Montagna.

There have been reports that the military has been put into maximum readiness for deployment in the South Mesder Sea. Notably, the DWS San Marteen was spotted en route to the sea. However, these reports have not been corroborated, and there remains little evidence that the San Marteen is really travelling to the warzone. But, President Contie did not rule out military intervention, when asked:

I cannot rule out military intervention to protect Daskan interests, and international stability.

This move follows what other nations have done: declare either sanctions or a public denunciation. This followed a fascist militia that pulled off a coup d'état of the formerly democratic government, which has popular support. Critics say that the nation's government has committed atrocities against the minority groups. They also criticized the nation's aggressive foreign stance. A majority of the Daskan public approves military intervention against San Montagna.

Athara Magarat Attacked by San Montagnan Forces; Covonantian Base Attacked

Breaking news coming out of Athara Magarat. In less than a day invasive force from the San Montagnan military carried out a series of attack on the South Western Mesder state that saw buildings damage and lives lost. Reports coming into the CBC from our correspondents in Athara Magarat that fighting has so far been limited to Myagdi Island while the San Montagnan forces have also carried out an attack on the Covonantian Base, Base Septimus in the country. Speaking earlier to the CBC by telephone was CBC Correspondent in Athara Magarat, Daya Bhagya.

There were reports of heavy gunfire that first took place at the Covonantian Base Septimus before moving along the eastern coast of the country to Myagdi Island. The Athara Magarati armed forces are somewhat limited in how to respond to the foreign force as the island is riddled with individuals with the ticking flu virus as well as the military is somewhat scattered around the region which would not be able to return in time. For now we have reports that local Myagdi police forces are trying their best to defend the territory engaging in a sort of guerrilla warfare but to no avail as they lack the equipments needed to defend themselves from the large force coming in. We have received reports coming out of Lanercost, Albion Invicta that the Joint Expeditionary Force is wasting no time in responding quickly to the attacks and numerous countries aligned with Athara Magarat and have interest and citizens of their own in the country wanting to send assistance. It is however unlikely if those countries will be able to be caught in the fight as JEF and C6 collaborate on establishing parameters while lending defense.

Daya expressed that the lives counts are increasing as the day progresses. So far the Magarati National Broadcaster released a preliminary account to the lost of lives which is estimated at 3,504. She also expressed that the Covonantian Base in the country has been heavily damaged with naval vessels and aircraft destroyed.

We are working with our partners from the MNB who have released so far the death counts. We don't believe it to be entirely accurate as more lives would have been lost after the release was made but we can say in the region of 3,504 lives have been accounted for thus far and we await an update to that report. News coming out of Tiwe Sivn where the Covonantian Base is located expresses major damage to the naval base but not much information is on that at the moment we await word from Covonant on the extent to the damages and the lives lost at the base.

Within the last hour or so it has been confirmed that San Montagnan forces has captured Myagdi Island. The CBC will continue to keep you abreast with the situation as it unfolds.

Prime Minister Gais Condemn Attacks on Athara Magarat; Declares a State of War with San Montagna

Prime Minister Gais address to the nation and the Consul

Prime Minister Crassus Gais has condemned the attacks on Athara Magarat by San Montagnan forces. The Prime Minister addressing the nation in the Consul expressed that such actions will not go without a response. The mood in the Consul was mixed with anger and sadness following reports that Covonantian civilians and troops are among those dead following the attacks. The Prime Minister as declared the country to be in a state of war.

We all condemn the attacks on our brothers and sisters in Athara Magarat and will waste no time in lending support. The fascist regime of San Montagna has refused to heed the calls from the international community to conduct itself in regional affairs better and they have refused and rejected our resolute that Athara Magarat must not be attacked. Such defiance will not go without a response. As a child lacking proper upbringing shall be disciplined, the Union will ensure that measures are taking to reverse the course of action that has transpired.

The Prime Minister in reporting on the attack of the Covonantian base in Athara Magarat expressed that such acts have seen the country immediately at war.

Not only have the San Montagnan forces carried out attacks on Athara Magarat but made it their purpose to attack Base Septimus which is a Covonantian naval base with Covonantian nationals devoted to the cause of ensuring peace within the Mesder. Such attacks are callous and Covonant will make an example out of the San Montagnans that no territory or base that bears our flag should be a target. As I speak to this Consul and the nation, it pains my heart at the thought of the brave men and women who have died in vain. Whose demise were met because of an illogical fascist. This was the threat I warned us about and we have seen the threat not just standing at our doors but have somehow managed to come into our house and inflict pain on us where it hurts most. We shall strike them wherever they stand and make them an example. With immediate effect following a meeting at Cabinet, I have declared a state of war

The Prime Minister expressed that diplomacy and negotiations are off the table. He notes that the country will be mobilised around the cause.


Defense Minister Outlines Damage to Covonantian Base in Athara Magarat and Course of Action

Minister of Defense Crixus Ignacio at a press briefing at the Defense Ministry has outlined the damages that has been received at Base Septimus in Athara Magarat as well as a reason for a failure to respond during the attacks. The Minister expressed that a failure in the defense system is at this stage being viewed as the cause for a lack in response.

The Missile Cruiser UNS Genica has been totally destroyed with major damages done to the 2 out of three destroyers stationed at the base UNS Antonite, and UNS Coventry. Assessment to damages also shows major damages to a few fleet of our Rottweiler helicopters recently acquired under a joint C6 partnership as well as minor damages to 4 GA2 Tarasque recently acquired from Corindia. The preliminary estimated value in damages range within the region of @1.6- 2 billion dollars coupled with destruction to base property and other systems. We have received reports from the Base High Command that has suggested that a failure in the defense system prompted a lack of defense for the base. The Ministry in the coming days or weeks depending on the outcome of events will be sending a investigatory team to investigate into the report and the issue

The Minister expressed that so far 115 service men and women have been accounted as dead. He notes that plans are being made to notify families of the deceased with the government looking to return the bodies back home.

Among lost to property and equipments, we also suffered lost in lives. 115 service men and women have so far been identified as dead with over 300 identified as suffering injuries ranging from critical to minor. The Union of Covonant Government will make it our priority to see that the bodies are returned back to Covonant to be handed over to the families once notified. I believe it is a moral duty of the government to assist in any funeral cost that these families may bear. I want to take the time to express our unyielding sympathies to the families of the deceased and that their service to the country was valiant and they are forever etched into the annals as Covonantian heroes

Minister Ignacio expressed that with immediate effect troops have been deployed to Base Septimus along with additional vessels and crafts. He also noted that Covonant will be lending support to C6 member Albion Invicta in taking back control of Athara Magarat.

At a meeting today in the Defense Room with military heads and commanders, we have made it our priority to see quick redeployments of troops from Gregoris Naval Base in Ipland and also from Critical Point in Covonant. Also additional vessels will be deployed. our UNS Devios and UNS Archangel which are two destroyers of the Union Navy along with UNS Sula and UNS Ailis which are two frigates of the Union Navy. The roles of these vessels would be to provide defense to Base Septimus and by extension Athara Magarat. These vessels and troops fall under the Union of Covonant South Mesder Command. The Air Force and Marines primarily those from the Mesder Air Force Command of the Union of Covonant Air Force and the Air Mobility Command will be tasked with engaging enemy forces in Athara Magarat under a joint C6/JEF led initiative. We will in the immediate stage be deploying 15 GA2 Tarasque to our Base in Athara Magarat with more to be deployed in the coming hours based on consultations and plannings from military leaders in Covonant and from the Coalition of Six.

The Minister notes that the main priority at this time for Covonant and her allies is the removal of San Montagnan forces from Athara Magarat.

C6 to Mobilise; Secretary General "The C6 will take the lead in any and all operations on Athara Magarat

Secretary General of the Coalition of Six (C6) Keith Richards has expressed the Coalitions ability to provide support and defense to Athara Magarat. He notes that so far with joint collaboration with the Joint Expeditionary Force, the path to reclaiming Athara Magarat from the fascist regime of San Montagna will be achievable. Mr. Richards was speaking to the CBC following a meeting at the C6 headquarters in Coventry.

We are more than capable of providing well needed support and defense for our C6 ally Athara Magarat, in fact it is our role to provide such response. We have from the beginning of responded with C6 forces comprising of Noronnican, Covonantian and Albion Invictan troops and equipments so far being deployed. The C6 is committed in pushing San Montagnan forces out of Athara Magarat and it is our main priority at this time before thinking on what is to come next. Where we are right now is the early stages of still planning but acting decisively and understanding that every second counts so as we plan we execute.

Mr. Richards has raised concern with the many nations that have so far expressed interest in sending military vessels and crafts along with troops to Athara Magarat in the hopes of securing their citizens or getting them out. He express that such initiative may have to be placed on hold.

I don't think it is wise for troops from different countries all coming to secure their interest and the lives of their citizens. Though admirable and understanding that foreign governments have all rights to ensure the safety of their citizens, the C6 sees such moves as uncoordinated and may conflict with our operations. I can state that the C6 along with our JEF counterparts which a few makes up as C6 members will devote to ensuring all nationals are defended as we try earnestly to retake back Myagdi Island and other parts of the country that have fallen to the San Montagnan forces. In the coming days we are looking at implementing a no fly zone for the entire south Mesder and we may look at containing the entire south Mesder if the C6 sees it as a best interest scenario

He expressed that following consultations with Covonantian generals and commanders, the country along will be opening its bases to allied and friendly countries that are seeking to lend assistance. He notes that any action taken must be coordinated to bring about the best result.

I have spoken with the Chief of Staff of the armed forces for Covonant and I know Gary Twyck the C6 Chairman for Military Committee has spoken with Commanders of the various Covonantian Commands have been reassured that the country will be opening its base in Covonant and Ipland to accommodate allied and friendly forces to have troops and equipments housed there in the event of providing reinforcements, logistics, expertise and consultations as well. What we are also looking at is the aftermath of events and knowing that humanitarian efforts will be needed to pour into the country and somewhat peacekeeping initiative as we try to get the country back on its feet.

Mr. Richards express that the C6 will be leading the operations in Athara Magarat. He notes that consultation and assistance will be done in a coordinated fashion.


Covonant to Host State Visit of Vancouvian Active Speaker

The Protocols Department is announcing that the Union of Covonant Government is to host the state visit of the Vancouvian Active Speaker George Pastel. Speaking to the CBC, Protocols Department Director Gregory Mair expressed that the visit is to centre around diplomacy, building of relations between the two countries and to discuss the creating of an alliance between the two states.

This visit has been in the planning for weeks now and though we are concerned with instabilities in the South Mesder, we don't believe it would affect greatly us hosting the Vancouvian Active Speaker. The Prime Minister's Office in tandem with the Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Vancouvian Foreign Services all agree that this visit will centre around issues relating to diplomacy and the relations between both Covonant and Vancouvia. Also a creating of a sort of alliance between the two states will also be worked on.

Mr. Mair expressed that it is the first state visit to Covonant by a Vancouvian official in over 5o years. He acknowledges that regional tensions is a leading factor to the visit.

It is no secret that a Vancouvian official had not visited Covonant in over 50 years but it is a different time now and with increasing instability countries are looking to become more allied and closer. We believe that the issue of San Montagna and Athara Magarat may also come up during discussions between the Vancouvian government representative and the Prime Minister and key government officials.

Mr. Mair notes that security will be given priority noting the crisis currently affecting the South Mesder.

Security is integral and at the centre of this state visit. The Police High Command has been briefed, the Praetorian Guards also have been briefed and final plannings are being put in place before Mr. Pastels arrival tomorrow.

The CBC will be sure to carry the visit of the Vancouvian Active Speaker to Covonant.

This morning the military forces of San Montagna attacked Athra Magarati and Covonant, inflicting heavy losses on both and launching a full scale invasion of Mygadi Island, Athra Magarati's largest city and industrial base.

The Council of 104 declared an emergency meeting and passed a Resolution of War between the Empire and her allies in C6 and San Montagna. The Overprocurator has presented the Resolution to both the Assembly and the Suffet for approval. It is expected that before morning war will exist.

It is known by this station that Force A, under command of our most decorated naval officer is operating in with the naval forces of Albion Invicta. As you will recall Force A, under the command of Flagofficer Halfhyde, consists of the 1st class Armoredship IWS Thunderer, the fleet carrier IWS Victorious, and the ASW ship IWS Vindicator.

This just in: All troops belong to regular, territorial and militia units on furlough are to report to their regimental depots at once.

We have received word that the 1st and 3rd Airmobile Battalions have been dispatched to Athra Magarati by way of Covonant. The Empire will send heavier equipped forces as soon as shipping and troops can be routed to the Mesder.

War has been declared on Athara Magarat by the government in San Montagna in a surprise invasion that has wrecked cities all over Athara Magarat. This has turned into a full out war and will effect the whole region of the Isles. Submarines have reported to have been " sunk or damaged beyond repair by the San Montagnan submarines". The bombings of Covonantians bases has pulled Covonant into a war with the fascist state and is likely to pull other nations into the blackhole.

His majesty has declared this war a mistake and "hopes the San Montagnans are punished for this unforgivable war". Talks have started in Parliament to place sanctions on San Montagnan and hopefully pull to put a end to this war. The military has been placed on high alert ready for any attacks against Eserai. The PM condemned the state this morning.

"I put my heart fowards for anyone who has suffered greatly because of the foolishness of the San Montagnan government, Eserai stands with AM and I truly wish this war is over before Christmas. We are having talks about placing harsh sanctions on this rouge state. I will never forgive them!"

Beyn Tarr and Marcius Brenshal Condemn San Montagna

Following the rise of the radical government and invasion of Athara Magarat, all sides of the Grand Congress are in agreement for the first time in decades.. San Montagna is a threat and shall be dealt with.

"We should have seen the signs coming, and should have taken steps to prevent this" says President Brenshal "We will stand by our allies in the C6 and condemn the actions of this radicalist government that seeks to plunge The Western Isles into chaos."

Said the president during a meeting this morning about how the government feels about the war in the south Mesder.

While The president gave an official speech to the public, Beyn Tarr held a rally for the Imperialist Party to address the same issues.

The Fascist dogs of San Montagna are a threat to civilization. We may be no better, but we have the decency to admit it! These heathens have no just cause for their actions, and cannot accurately defend them! They would see thousands slaughtered and even more displaced, all in the name of their leader. We will bring the fire of Xodia Doma upon them if need be. They must withdraw from their invasion and accept their fate. If they do not, we will see them destroyed"

He was greeted with roaring applause and cheers. A passionate speech indeed. However, many in the government do not share his idea for what sounds like the complete destruction of San Montagna. But none the less, many are inspired and support the government in military aid to the allies of the C6. Military forces have already been deployed to provide support until further military actions are approved by Congress and the C6

Today the two Houses of Parliament returned from a week autumn recess, and they were directly surprised by Viceroy Melas II, who appeared to have signed a royal decree tonight, allowing Grand Duke Nicholas Alexander, the Heir Apparent of New Aapelistan to form his own Privy Council, implying he will be crowned Emperor of the Aprosian Empire in a very short while.

Prince-Heir Nicholas Alexander, who claims to be the Džéhar of New Aapelistan, is now recognised by three nations as the truthful ruler of New Aapelistan and all Aprosians. With the promise of a new, monarchist, capitalist and democratic New Aapelistan he has tempted many people to endorse him. Tonight he could celebrate another victory, Viceroy Melas II of Great-Imperialonia, signed a decree to allow Nicholas' to reside in Great-Imperialonia as prince-heir of another nation, and form his own Privy Council. With the clearance to compose a Privy Council, he can be officially crowned Emperor Nicholas II, thus forming his own cabinet and appoint a Prime-Minister, as alternative government of New Aapelistan.

This is another move of the Imperialonian government to provoke New Aapelistan, who is already infuriated. Our correspondent reports:

The last few days, reports have been coming in from spies in New Aapelistan, that riots have occurred regarding Nicholas. In New Aapelistan people claimed the streets to protest against President Nijakov and endorse the reinstallation of the monarchy. These reports have not gone unnoticed by the Viceroy and his cabinet, who tries to get advantage by this and present Nicholas as an alternative for the communist regime.

Great-Imperialonia and Eurania sign treaty of friendship

Another interesting happening this morning, was the official publication of the bilateral agreement of friendship between the Viceroyalty of Great-Imperialonia and the United Kingdom of Eurania.

The Foreign Minister signed the treaty this morning, awaiting ratification of both Houses of Parliament and Euranian legislature.

This treaty will ensure we reward a nation for taking steps in the right direction. The rebirth of the monarchy has not been unnoticed and we are happy to sign this treaty as a start of good relations between our two countries.

The signing of this treaty is however also very convenient for the situation with Prince-Heir Nicholas. With a friendship agreement it is made sure Eurania will not feel threatened by Great-Imperialonia due to the purchase of the mi,it wry base in West Suomi.

His Highness Viceroy Melas II and Her Majesty Princess Mary will also visit the coronation of the royal family of Eurania coming week.

Michigonian Citizens Killed In Athara Magarat, Evacuations Continue

Alland- Three Michigonian citizens have been killed on Myagdi Island, Athara Magarat, as the San Montagnan military began a surprise invasion Sunday night. They have been identified as Oliver Van Fleek, aged 44, Wendy Yates, 56, and Josephine Kim, 18.

Van Fleek, a transportation engineer, was working as a consultant on the island. His wife told The Alland Press that he had planned to evacuate today.

Yates, a social worker, was on a missions trip in Athara Magarat for a Whindist church located in New Emmen.

Kim, a student at Leeman College, was studying in Athara Magarat for the year. The college said in a statement that she was studying biology in an exchange program on the island, and was scheduled to be evacuated last Friday. No word on why she missed her evacuation flight.

President Torres and the rest of the Federal Council offered condolences today in telephone calls to the families of the victims.

When asked about a national response, a spokesperson for Councillor Martin West said the Council are working on economic sanctions with the legislature. Mr. West, who also serves as the Foreign Affairs minister, said later that military options are "on the table," but reiterated that Athara Magarat's own allies have mobilised in response to the invasion, including a coalition of the C6 and JEF.

Voluntary evacuations of Michigonian citizens began last Wednesday, with as many as a dozen chartered flights from New Libang during the first day. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, any Michigonian citizen remaining in Athara Magarat after Wednesday will not be able to board a direct charter. The Michigonian embassy in the capital closed on Saturday.

King Dies, Major Changes Occur

Yesterday, at the age of 62, considered respectably old in the Ilse. Upon hearing of his death, Baron Charles de Tolbert immediately prepared a declaration of war on San Montagna, as well as occupying the royal palace, jailing the current Exchequer, and marching through Ost-in-Edhil with his growing retinue, in show of force. He has both declared, audaciously using the Royal Seal, all serfs free who come to Ost-in-Edhil, and a deep commitment to J. E. F., in addition to promises of reform. He has also violated the Compositorium, a collection of treaties limiting the power of the King and limiting civil war by announcing the use of all available weapons, including previously banned vehicles, artillery, aircraft, and ships. However, it is unlikely the navy will see any action, as the service members are generally opposed the pretender Tolbert, and there is evidence that local mine layers may have mined parts of the harbour, under the very nose of Tolbert.

Baron Tolbert's legitimacy rests on an unsurprisingly weak case. He claims that Prince Armand is technically a minor, and thereby has control until the Prince reaches his majority. A document has been found that proves Maximilien would have had Tolbert chosen as a regent while away from the country, but this was written in 1971, during the succession crisis, and likely meant only as a tool to win Tolbert over.

The Duke de Blanchard's claims have been rejected, for, despite being being closer in blood to the King, his father participated in war of succession aforementioned, eliminating any repute that might have supported a claim.

Civil War Looms

While the skirmishing in Bellemon has been slightly favouring Ridderkerk lately, the rest of the Ilse is marshaling its strength for what will likely be the greatest war of this and the previous century. Along with the regular Royal army, and his own forces, Baron Tolbert has gathered around 12.000 knights, and another 50.000 in levies and escaped serfs. Though their troops are still gathering, the Forces supporting Armand have about 18.000 knights, and their levies amount to about 50.000 as well. The equipment advantage favours the Prince as well; His Royal Highness has more tanks, jets, and artillery than Tolbert, and more men trained to use that equipment. Neither side has prodded the other yet, though food is running short on the Faulkenland-Ost-in-Edhil border, as is money.

The steadfast position of the Keveran government in not releasing the banking details of its clients has appeared to weaken, following an incident in where an Ahnslen successfully hacked into a bank. This Ahnslen revealed the information in front of the Electoral Court of Wesland in Highland Ridge, a symbolic place as it was where the investigation into the death of Jennifer Revire began many weeks ago. The hacker spoke yesterday and revealed the information he had.

“Today the ignorance of such a capitalistic and narrow minded government has been broken. I, Chris Revire, have hacked into a Keveran Bank and revealed what seems to be evidence of Keveran involvement in the banking of drug traffickers.”

Federal Corporals quickly convinced him to enter the Courts, with a USB stick in hand. Chris Revire, not known to police as a successful hacker, is the brother of Jennifer, the young female who died at a festival. The verification of the accounts was quite fast, with Wilton this morning claiming that it was indeed ‘a strong source which links the Keveran banks to the drug traffickers’. He also mentioned that they have ‘now found the general location of where the major operation is occurring’ but refused to mention where or who these smugglers were.

The Electoral Court of Wesland held an emergency meeting today, permitting the exemption of this evidence from the Unlawful Obtaining of Evidence Act 1915. This allows the evidence to be used by law enforcement and is officially acceptable to the courts. Joseph Shirazi, Judicial Representative used a statement to ensure that the population knows that this is a rare exception and that ‘the law does not look favourably upon hackers but indeed it was unlikely that Keverai would reveal these details and thus certain measures were required’. Law experts are concerned that this could establish a worrying precedent which could harm international relations.

The TWI Weather Office today stated that the immediate and severe threat posed by Cyclone Nate is no longer applicable to much of Ainslie. Thankfully, Nate shifted slightly southeast now. It will no longer affect Arnton and Hauton with severe storms but rather a relatively sparsely populated area in lower Wesland. Port Blaxland will most likely have moderate to severe storms but other than that it has been a close call for Northeastern Ainslie.

And now our report turns back to Southeastern Ainslie, where the cyclone was at its most severe.

KIAVRAH
Kiavrah has been temporarily disconnected from the rest of Ainslie by road, helicopters are dropping supplies and evacuating people.

WAGSTAFFE
Severe flooding continues to cover low lying parts of the city, although it has not been heavily affected otherwise. Local authorities urging people to stay off of the roads and make way for emergency services and listen to what they say.

MANDARA
Fallen trees and powerlines, no reported road closures. No deaths reported although people have been hospitalised mainly due to flood related accidents.

KOTAMATARI
Heavy flooding, roads cut off - emergency services unable to access the town. Local law enforcement is using boats to protect local businesses from looting. Deaths ‘likely’ according to local law enforcement. Disease a concern in the city following the dirty environment which is set to worsen as the Staffen River continues to flood.

KERAKAH
Local council mayor killed as he drove through floodwaters in an attempt to evacuate citizens. More updates on that as we receive it. Heavy flooding continues and is expected to stay around as water flows down the Staffen River.

RATHANE
Telecommunications and electricity has been re-established in the city following major damage to the city’s infrastructure. Flooding in low lying areas at the minor-moderate level.

Mandara, Wagstaffe and Rathane are likely to recover quite quickly. What is of concern though is the smaller towns and cities, particularly along the Burnett coast. It will be at least a week until the floodwaters have subsided enough for government agencies to enter the area. Floodwaters from the Staffen River upstream are likely to create higher flooding levels in Kerakah and Kotamatari, two areas of high concern following this cyclone. More updates on the cyclone’s impacts to come as we receive them.

Keverai demands Ainslie to extradite hacker

This is a republication of the Keveran Observer, an associate outlet of this news agency.

“Ainslie has broken a constitutional mandate that it holds so dear, the rule of law. An exemption to their Unlawful Obtaining of Evidence Act 1915 has led to evidence obtained through an illegal hacking incident to be used against the sovereign state of Keverai” stated the Judicial Consul, the head of the legal system in Keverai. This comment was made regarding a hacking attack that the Keveran banks experienced recently, leading to a leak of client information. The hacker was the brother of an Ahnslen who died from an allergic reaction to a new street drug. The Chief Consul today released a statement condemning the acts of Ainslie and demanding the extradition of the hacker.

“We demand Ainslie to extradite Chris Revire, a blatant law breaker that you refuse to recognise as such. We seek to prosecute him under the full extent of Keveran Federal Law, considering that your law seems to be ineffective and ignorant of the clear facts of the matter.”

Personnel from the Keveran Federal Police accompanied by a diplomat have been sent to Arnton in order for the extradition to occur with limited Ahnslen involvement. The Chief Consul also stated that Joseph Shirazi, Judicial Representative for Ainslie was ‘a disgrace to the objectivity of the law’.

The friendly relations between Keverai and Ainslie could be harmed by this incident, with Ainslie expected to recall their Keveran ambassador to advise them on the situation. This hack is an embarrassment to Keverai, which prides themselves on the privacy they give to people who do business in the nation. Confidence in the banking system is likely to decrease, creating an unstable economic climate for the nation as financial services is one of their major industries and a reduction in demand could lead to overall negative growth.

Outlaw Justice: Former Ahern and National Police Commander Found Dead!

Approximately one week ago, two mass graves were found in Shanowinn, connected to the draconian policies of Ahern Chulainn NaAchill, and violent injustice of his National Ahernric Police Service. President Karolíne Faoláin attempted to smooth the issue over, but it appears that the discovery has added fuel to the Highland fire.

Last night, authorities responded to reports that a prisoner transport was attacked.
The former Ahern and his top commander for the defunct National Ahernric Police Service were scheduled for a transfer. Investigators were unable to locate either of the prisoners at the time.

However, this morning pedestrian commuters in Termon witnessed the execution of both. Eyewitnesses claim that a truck came to a halt at the street corner, and four masked gunmen exited the truck, along with two bound and gagged men. Nearby people especially recognized the former Ahern Chulainn NaAchill.

Reportedly, one of the gunmen shouted "this is for all our Highland brothers and sisters murdered by these Lowland tyrants" and all four fired weapons into their captives. General chaos ensued on the street, but when law enforcement arrived on the scene, the gunmen had already disappeared. NaAchill was confirmed dead immediately, having been struck by numerous lethal bullets.

Although the four gunmen remain at large, law enforcement authorities have reason to believe, based on the gunman's words, that they are from or sympathize with the Highland Republic.

Following the carried out invasion of Athara Magarat by San Montagnan forces the Coalition of Six have expressed intent of rescuing the C6 associated member state. A release from the C6 headquarters in Coventry have stated the Coalitions resolve in pushing out the aggressive San Montagnan forces that have captured Myagdi Island and have moved into mainland Athara Magarat. Within the reports were suggestions for declaring a no-fly zone for Athara Magarat which the Coalition has implemented today. Speaking to the CBC earlier was Chairman of the C6 Military Committee Gary Twyck who expressed the reason for the implementing of the no fly-zone.

We believe that it is our moral duty to extend some type of protection to civilians. The C6 understand the magnitude of the situation noting that Athara Magarat is in a sense a cosmopolitan society with many foreigners taking residence in the country including C6 citizens among them Noronnicans from my country so we are looking at it from a viewpoint of ensuring that civilian casualties are kept low

He notes that the decision for the no-fly zone has received unanimous support from all C6 member states, he expressed that the goal is to remove the fascist invaders while protecting Athara Magarati citizens and foreign nationals among them.

What we are hoping to do is to somewhat gain some control of the area and we have to be very strategic in how we go about this as we are somewhat surprised that San Montagnan forces are still in Athara Magarat and are increasing in their land grab. Our forces are working tirelessly in getting them out from all angles. The no-fly zone we believe will aid to the cause of a victory for the C6. What the no-fly zone will see implemented is that any aircraft being civilian in nature or of the belligerent force or any force apart from the C6 or C6 allied/approved states found flying over the Athara Magarati territory may in a likely scenario be intercepted. We are advising countries to acknowledge and respect the implemented no-fly zone as we continue to retake Myagdi Island and push the invading forces out of mainland Athara Magarat. We want no complications to our missions and if we see where outside forces not aligned or in cooperation with C6 forces, we may have to find routes of removing such complications to our combined efforts and operations

Mr. Twyck notes that once the no-fly zone has been lifted, it will be announced by means of media.

Covonant Ramps up CovExit Campaign

With the country at war and calls being directed towards the Prime Minister to call off the CU Referendum, Prime Minister Crassus Gais at a rally in Jueverna Ailis last night dismissed the calls expressing his administration is going "full speed ahead with the referendum". The Prime Minister at his Covonantian Conservative Party (CCP) political rally last night also urged supporters to vote for their country on the 9th of November.

I have heard the remarks that because our country is at war, the peoples rights must be rejected. I have one thing to say to the detractors that wish to prevent the Covonantian people from participating in their political affairs, the Covonantian Conservative Party is going full speed ahead with the referendums. No violence or threats can stop us from thinking of our interest. This country was built and made great because of nationalist thinkers who put country first above all else. If I must be the only nationalist in the room then I take that position with pride. Conservatives I urge you all not to fall for the tricks of the Democratic Party, they like to say together we are stronger but I say when you walk alone your focus is made greater. Let us focus on our issues, on our interest. Vote for Covonant not the CU. Vote to leave on the 9th of November.

As the Covonantian Conservative Party increased their campaigns so have the Democratic Party of Covonant (DPP). Staying closer to the capital, the DPP staged a political forum in Coventry where they had a one on one session with party supporters. Speaking at the meeting was the newly appointed Mischa Stillana, Opposition Spokeswoman on Foreign Affairs. Mrs. Stillana expressed that Covonant is weaker alone but stronger united with like-minded states.

We have seen throughout history what happens to countries that have taken an isolationist stance. In most instance their economic vitality collapse, their presence on the international stage collapse and their success at securing their interest collapse. Covonant has devoted too much throughout the century to just say we are closing our doors. We have to believe that united we are stronger and alone we stand as weak among the giants. When San Montagna sought to challenge us the CU was there when they tried to cower us the CU was there and now we are at war with them the CU still stands by our side ready to assist. The CU remains faithful to its founding nation but the founding nation is not faithful to her. This government acts as a parent who no longer wants its child. I say to them that the CU is here to stay and on November 9th when the people of Covonant vote, we shall remain loyal to the organisation that has been loyal to us.

Mrs. Stillana criticised the government and the Prime Minister for how they have handled the country three months after assuming the role of government. She opines the Prime Minister as reckless and "carrying the country on a deadly roller coaster ride."

Can you imagine how much our country has changed in just three months. Already we are engage in a war, we are not attracting investors at the rate we are use to and we are becoming more interventionist than ever. This administration has no clue how to govern and the Prime Minister has us blindly following him as he continues to be reckless and undiplomatic and in the same time to be carrying the country on a deadly roller coaster ride. We may have lost control of the government but we will retain control of our country and her obligations to regional institutions. On November 9th let us send them a clear message that the CU is not to be disowned.

At least one senior government official has taken offense to the remarks made by the Opposition Spokeswoman. Minister of Foreign Affairs Lydia Abbasca has blasted the Opposition member for throwing low blows at the administration. She is cautioning opposition members to remain civil during the campaign season.

The Opposition Spokeswoman on Foreign Relations seems very crude in her assessment of the government. I had to wonder if this was the general election all over again. The DPC are desperate for this win seeing they no longer control a majority seat in the Consul, but we expect them not to go too low in how they mobilise their political base and express their opinions. Her view of the government though personal, I believe the new member of the Consul must exercise some level of caution in how she express personal views in public space and I make that suggestion to all party members and to remind them that to raise issues on why they believe the electorate should remain or leave the CU bloc and to refrain from casting bad rhetoric towards political individuals. It seems very low for the nature of this referendum

Members of Vucari Federal before their first game, their only win so far.

Last month, Vucari officially became a participant in the Association of Western Isles Cricket Clubs (AWICC) with games starting soon after Vucari's registry with the most teams than any other nation in the competition, entering 4 teams, 3 from each SSRs capital and a federal team comprised of the best of the best.

However, despite the federal team being made up of the most elite Vucarian cricket players, it only won one game out of the three games its participated so far, leaving many Vucarians disappointing with their federal team, despite going against teams that are regarded to be less skilled.

Instead, the best results have been from the Hangma Horde and the Vukgrad Vanguards, surprising many viewers as it is generally accepted that the Hangma Horde is one worst teams of Vucari. St.Petersgrupp Gale performed as expected by the general populace, however matching the federal team by winning one game.

AWICC is currently hosted in Ainslie, in the cities of Mandara/Arborai/Rathane/Arnton.

Anti-EUSR propoganda going up and coming down

Tensions between the EUSR and Athara Magarat have led to various individuals and groups within Vucari to attempt to sway the opinions of Vucari in favour of Athara Magarat. Efforts by Anti-EUSR groups are focused within the Khas-Kirati SSr, with the other SSRs adopting a relatively apathetic approach to this situation.

The majority of propaganda comes in the forms of posters, which cannot be shown due to having quite gruesome content and the Soviets stance upon this situation. other forms of propaganda include, but are not limited to: Newspapers, Speeches and small films.

The Soviets of Vucari have issued orders for all propaganda to be taken down, hoping that the EUSR understands that their stance is neutral to this, and that the Soviets of Vucari are always friendly to any other nations with Communist Ideals.

The Soviets of Vucari have recently declassified a recent arms deal with the nation of Bravo Rio, with new weapons to retrofit the armed forces of Vucari. This arms deal occured almost a moth ago, with the the entire order being fulfilled within a week.

Oberdaten of Bravo Rio provided SL81s, the government of Bravo Rio also saw this as an oppurtunity to dispose of surplus weapons, providing a small amount of SLCs to Vucari at no extra cost. Additionally SSWs have been leased for a six month period, with the total amount of weapons purchased or leased being ~75,000.

Vucari pledges to send humanitarian aid

Due to the deteriorating situation in Athara Magarat, the soviets of Vucari have sent an amount of ships, laden with food, water and medical supplies along with aircraft to relieve the civilian situation in Athara Magarat. No military intervention is expected.

An estimated 40,000 Vucarians are currently caught up in the middle of the war, most of whom are visiting relatives. An amount groups within Vucari have pledged to form a irregular military force to fight in the name of the white tigress once the situation has cleared. The Vucarian Soviets have stated:

COPAD Councilmen implicated in drug controversy, denies involvement. DOLE opens investigation.

What has been called the “Keverai Bank Bonanza” has taken Lardingo by storm. Through the hacking by Ahnslen Chris Revire, information has been revealed that shows COPAD Councilmen Jason Mulk has connections with “Certain groups suspected of being involved in the production and exportation of the methamphetamine drug known as Buzz,” A DOLE spokesman said today. Although the use of drugs is legal in Lardingo, the spokesman said, exporting certain types of harmful drugs drugs out of the country to foreign nations that prohibit their use is illegal. He gave no other information, saying the investigation was ongoing.

Jason Mulk, a young Independant councilmen who has quickly become an influential member of COPAD, fiercely denied the accusation against him in an unusually short statement issued by his office.

This accusation is preposterous. I expect all this to be sorted out shortly, once DOLE realizes their mistake.

TWO YEARS IN LOVSK: OPPORTUNITIES & TROUBLE

One of Ostehaar's leading and most influential columnists, Dr. Dehren Si Braant, visited FNN's studio earlier today to discuss his upcoming book about the situation in Lovsk. Si Braant, a well-established writer on matters of politics, international affairs, and defense, had been working on his sixth book since the Lovsk conflict first started. "I knew it was significant enough so I immediately started collecting material and information," he said in an interview a few weeks ago. "My hopes were to eventually be able to both look at the entire issue from an objective perspective and examine the subjective responses by the various 'players'."

By 'players' Si Braant referred to the public, the government, the military, the Lovskian government and the Lovskian opposition groups. "This is a crucial thing to understand," he points out, "that not a single 'player' managed to completely dominate the agenda for the entire length of the conflict. Sure, the government had the upper hand during the last few months of 2015, but the horrific public execution of Dihn Gahler in Rovka changed everything and created a series of events that the government, and certainly the military, did not prepare for. The military then gradually gained control, but it was only temporary." In his book, Si Braant analysed the reasons, motives, and consequences of every important incident and decision during these two years of conflict. He used unclassified documents, texts written by Lovskian nationalists, social media reports on daily events, and also private blogs and interviews with key individuals. "I even spoke with one of the leaders of the Lovskian opposition, a person probably responsible for quite a few attacks against our troops," he admits, "although I wasn't allowed to see him directly and wasn't told where he was during the conversation, of course."

The Lovsk conflict began roughly two years ago, in the late summer of 2015, when local hostility towards the Oster businesses on the island peaked. Most experts place the origin of that round of violence in 2013's Lovskian demonstrations against their own government, which refused to nationalize the metal mining industry and kick the Oster companies out. "The Levenburg [i.e. official] government is infested with corruption," a Lovsk citizen told FNN reporters at the time, "it sells its own people for cash while the Osters enjoy tax rates of nearly 0%." The Lovskian anger grew, and in 2015 the first "metal for blood" graffiti inscription appeared outside an Oster factory in Rovka, the largest stronghold of the Lovskian opposition. "The Levenburg-Rovka issue played an important role back then," Si Braant explains, "the distrust between the Lovskians in the west, in Rovka, and the eastern Lovskians around Levenburg was close to the breaking point, and what we did was to defuse most of it by turning the general population against us."

On December 9th the Dihn Gahler incident happened, and the Oster government decided that it was time to remove the Lovskian opposition from the equation by force. Hundreds of troops and dozens of armored vehicles took control of the island within days, turning the place into the "Lovsk Island Protectorate" - a temporary title that was never changed. According to Si Braant, there was never a formal decision to keep the forces on the island. "The government and the military decided on an aggressive response, and in order to accomplish that they practically had to secure the entire island. The initial intention was to come, remove, and leave, but the reality on the ground prevented a quick solution and we had to keep sending people in. Next thing you know we opened a huge joint Oster-Vancouvian military base, and in March this year we actually considered inviting Noronnican forces in to combat the SOAR threat after a terrorist attack in Gwynon."

"The current situation is very fragile," the Dr. tells us. "Think of a covered boiling pot that is about to burst. We have been keeping the island on this 'temporary' status for almost two years, while underneath the surface we failed to deal with the Lovskian nationalist movement that has been growing and developing." According to the DFO, attacks against Oster troops and factories have become more frequent in 2017. Altogether since January 2016, 27 Oster soldiers and 5 Lovskian government officers were killed in clashes with the local opposition and 65 were injured; 4 Oster citizens were killed and 12 were injured; and 120 Lovskian citizens were killed and 260 were injured - around three quarters of them opposition terrorists, according to the military.

Some people fear that the current Oster administration may initiate another round of violence in Lovsk to divert public attention back to the island, while at home the government faces allegations of corruption - some of which might even involve the Minister of Defense himself. Si Braant dismissed these claims. "While I am not a fan of Minister Dulikh, a fact that everybody knows, there is a limit to how cynical I can be," he says. "I have no doubt that this government will never initiate violence just to spin public attention. I do expect violence to increase in Lovsk in 2018 unless we take some drastic measures to prevent it."

Suspicious fund transfer to Bravo Rio was found by police

KOTAPURA, Kabar Sahari - The death of Kirana Wardana, a famous actor, has been a wake up call for the drugs issue in Samudera. It has been caused by “Buzz”, a new kind of methamphetamine which was discovered a month ago. Hundreds of deaths were reported and they have been later identified to be caused by a Buzz overdose.

This prompted the government and the police to conduct a thorough investigation regarding the drugs issue, working with other nations who were ravaged by this drugs problem. The leak of Keveran bank information and its connection with the smuggling of Buzz prompted the police to investigate bank accounts in Samudera and if there are connection with Buzz smugglers.

It was found that one particular account in Rajawali Bank, one of the biggest banks in Samudera, received $3 million dollars from a less than respectable pharmacy company in Sripura. Later the money was transferred into a Brovan bank as a charity grant.

This huge amount of money normally requires a licence from the Samuderan Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (SAFITRAC), but apparently that was bypassed and the agency covered it up until the police revealed it.

The Head of SAFITRAC, Anthony Riyaldi, denied the claims that SAFITRAC were involved in illegal activity, and instead blamed it on the bank which didn’t report the suspicious activity.

Further investigation is needed to prove that the account is indeed connected with the illegal Buzz smuggling activity, stated police spokesman John Letredai.

The suspicious bank account has been frozen by the government until further investigations are completed.

Kenzai today entered the Keverai-Ainslie banking dispute by conducting a press conference where he criticised the Keveran Government for their handling of this dispute.

“In recent times we have seen the lack of basic human morality expressed by the Keveran Government. We condemn their actions in this dispute and once again request them to release the information we asked for, in order to totally verify or disprove the current evidence we have.”

This conference comes after Judicial Representative Shirazi was labelled as a ‘disgrace to the law’. Ainslie was also accused of breaking the rule of law through its actions. Whilst the latter comment does have some merit to it, Keverai has not released the information of what is very clearly a drug smuggling ring that spans borders.

The criminals have chosen possibly the most optimal place to do business, as Keverai ensures anonymity for its clients although this has been recently broken by a cyber attack. In a surprising event, the Ahnslen government did not recall their ambassador to Keverai, stating that ‘communication is necessary and in these times of advancing technology there is no need for the ambassador to be recalled’. Speculation has begun about what the next steps of the Ahnslen Government in this dispute will be, with a high likelihood of the government to take this to the international stage. Citizens have been taking to social media to voice their opinions about the dispute.

Kings of the Fate Begins Tour Across the Isles; Visits Volkegothic Military and Athara Magarati Evacuation Sites

Kings of the Fate, the most popular rock band in Volkegoth, is set to begin their next tour in which they will reveal their next album, Reign of the Prince, in multiple international locations next week. However, this tour has a deeper meaning to the members of Kings of the Fate than most others. Their first stops will be three Volkegoth military bases, in a chain of events meant to boost the morale of Volkegothic troops across the nation. The Supporters of Our Troops (SoOT) sponsored events will be the first of their kind for the band, though lead singer Roland Drees says this is his most anticipated tour yet. "The troops mean a lot to me," said Drees in an interview, "my father served in the air force for twenty years; ten of those being the first ten of my life. I think it's important to help the troops in any way we can, especially in these dangerous times in the Isles. I'm really excited that we're able to do this."

After their trip to the Trultin Isles and Corindia, they will make a stop at Sitsern Airport in Athara Magarat, a base of evacuations for citizens of the country. This trip was planned in spite of the Ministry of War and Defense's warnings against it. In the interview previously mentioned, Drees commented, stating, "honestly, I'm not afraid of anything happening. I doubt anyone would risk killing Volkegoth citizens and bringing the full might of the Volkegoth military on them. But hey, if we die there, I can't think of a better place and better time to go out, you know. Helping out the hurting." When asked to comment on Volkegoth-Athara Magarati relations, Drees said, "honestly, I think both sides have it wrong in different ways. I'll try to leave as much of the politics out and leave it at this: I think blaming a nation on the actions of one person is too much, and demonizing a nation for defending itself is too much. I hope our people can look past this and come together for the future."

ARANI - A gunman opened fire on shoppers in Selendium's Huahe Mall, killing 25 and injuring 53, with most of the victims being people of color. At around 5 o'clock, the first shot was reportedly heard. Several people people claim that the gunman used a machine gun. When police arrived, the man had already fled. Police are conducting a manhunt to find the man. Some are baffled that the police took so long to arrive at the scene. Whites Rise have claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
This comes right after the Longhorn station stabbing that took two lives, after a man, who is presumed to be part of Whites Rise, a white supremacist group that wants to exterminate non-white people by all means necessary. Whites Rise is considered a terrorist group by the government of West Suomi, but isn't even recognized by Parliament.
Police say the suspect entered the mall in regular clothes, and a guitar case. He was, reportedly, asking where the nearest instrument repair shop was. He then went to a restroom, and set up his machine gun. He exited, and opened fire.
President Contie sent his "deepest condolences" to the families who were affected by the attacks. The NPFD (National Police Force of Dasko) conducted a nationwide raid on suspected bars and alleys where illegal gun sales are known to take place. Police have arrested 19 people, and have seized thousands of ikatos worth illegal merchandise. Police Chief Daniel McFarlen:

Let this be a lesson to those who break the law. You will be found; you will be caught; and you will be arrested. This attack was despicable, and cowardly. The loss of life is unacceptable. The man who committed this act will be brought to justice.
