Enerah Bomb Perperator identified, security are intensified in anticipation of state visit from Cantonos

BHINNEKA, Kabar Sahari - Two suicide bomber were identified from the crime scene of the suicide bombing in Enerah, last tuesday (03/10). After thorough investigation, the police concluded that the bomb was, in fact, a pressure cooker bombs.

Samuderan Police Forces spokesman Insp. Gen. Gerardo Mulok said in the press conference,

Based on the crime scene investigation, two of the perpetrators carried the pressure cooker bombs in their carrier bags. We found [pieces of] nails and buckshots in the pressure cooker.

Furthermore, the Spokesman said that there are two bombs that were detonated on the bus station in Enerah. One in the middle of the crowded waiting line for the bus and another one near the polices that were guarding the station.

The explosion killed 10 peoples, two of the perpetrators itself, three policemen, and five more civilians. Two died after being rushed to the hospital, with the explosions damaged their vital organs.

Both the perpetrators are in fact, immigrants from Kachee Sultanate that had been working in Samudera for nearly a year. Aziz Hadramaut (21) and Farrukh Umida (19), entered Samudera in 2016, afterwards working as a housemaid in a lavish state in Kotapura. Their decisions to end their life with suicide bomb surprised many. Their employer said, that they were diligent and hardworking men. This surprised him, stating they are in good terms with everyone and are having a good life in Kotapura.

Police also stated that they are still investigating further evidence in the crime scene, that hopefully will provide a clear link to who is instigating the suicide bomb attack. Police also denied the allegation of SHOCK or anyone in the bomb attack, further stating that investigations are needed to clarify the main perpetrators behind the attack.

Security in Enerah had since been reinforced with more police forces, guarding crowded and important places in the city, such as Governor Office, bus stations, and shopping malls.

In anticipation of the Cantonosian President arrival on Bhinneka for the state visit, security had been intensified to prevent another bomb attack on the capital.

Police had said that the Capital is being safely guarded and ensure that no further attack could be conducted on the Capital.

The state visit from Cantonos is expected to improve the relations with both countries, in terms of economic and military sector. Cantonos prospect of joining the Cooperative Union also brought open another opportunity to strengthen cooperation on trade sector.

INTERNATIONAL: President Hardy congratulates new Owinn President, claims is open for talks

President Paul Hardy was on the high seas this morning. At 4AM he embarked on a fishermen's boat for a three hour fishing tour on the Gulf of Gael. Back on the ground, he gave a conference at 8AM, initially forecasted to concern the Glasic fishing industry, but journalists were more interested in Foreign Affairs, specifically President Hardy's reaction to Shanowinn's new President Karolíne Catrín Faoláin's election, and her "International Outreach Initiative", in which Glasriocht held an important place due to similar cultures and long lasting historical ties. President Hardy answered that

"I would first like to congratulate President Faoláin for her election, and all the lowlanders who went to the polls and express their will for responsible leadership after the havoc created by NaAchill. Of course, Glasriocht is more than pleased to see their fellow Celtic cousins healing after the domestic and international massacre Shanowinn had to endure, and is, as it has always been, striving for greater mutual understanding.

Other journalists attempted to interview the President on other Foreign Affairs subjects, mostly concerning the situation around the Mesder Sea, but President Hardy only announced "I am preoccupied for the fish's health".

JUSTICE: Supreme Judicial Council uncovers major miscarriage based on distasteful prosecution strategies

Alan Bradton, 56, has lost 31 years of his life due to egregious prosecutions methods. The Supreme Judicial Council arrived to a verdict at 2AM this morning on the rehabilitation case for Alan Bradton, 56, sentenced to Life in Prison for having presumably murdered five schoolchildren. The real murderer was none other than a friend of a prosecutor in the case.
The prosecution withheld precious exculping evidence in the form of two video shots from school cameras and other documents, coerced witnesses who had seen Bradton in a café in a city hundreds of kilometres away from the crime scene on the same date, or imprisoned those who resisted coercion to secure their incapacity to appear on trial dates. Fake documents were also created to trick a federal Habeas Corpus judge into believing the convict's habeas corpus rights had been respected, despite the fact little to no evidence justified Bradton's violent arrest at a public concert in 1983.
Judge Susan Kaìden witnesses that "the case sounded so improbable that I was sure it would be dismissed. I had a list of objections, but day by day I would cross them out. This is a huge prosecutor machination like one sees only once in a career"
After six months of investigations, hearings and reconstructions, the Supreme Judicial Council convened in Ardenton yesterday evening to deliberate and give verdict. Though the debating started at 8PM, it only terminated at 2AM with the order for immediate release of Bradton, payment of a 15 million Oìr compensation, clearance of the innocent's judicial case and investigation on the prosecution and witnesses who could have bore false witness before inferior courts.

BREAKING NEWS : Tube train bombing dead count rises to 40, and injuries to 130

Police have announced that they have been able to survey and investigate only half of the 8 carriage train, which was struck by a bomb this morning.

The explosion cause 'horrendous' damage to the carriage where the bomber was located, and the other carriages were also damaged, located to the left and right.
The death toll of the incident has risen to 40 and is expected to rise, as police state, they have not been able to gain access to the most damaged carriages, primarily due to the state they are in.

A commuter said that "of what we could see inside those carriages, everyone in there is probably dead, and there is a lot of bodies".

Commissioner Daniel Keeper states that investigators have been attempting to gain entry into the train carriages, but the extent of the damage has 'mangled' them in such a way, they look like 'scrap at a scrapyard'.

Police also stated that one carriage was barley touched, and all in that carriage escaped with almost no injuries at all.

Of the dead so far, none are believed to be Foreign nationals.

Second Round Of Protests And Declaration of Independence In Charbagnia

The islands of the Charbagnian Federation were yet again hit by waves of protest today as marches took place in four major cities. The protests became violent after protestors promoted their opposing faction's views to each other, this lead to violence erupting on major streets. After infighting and battles with the riot police, many are left injured with several people missing and a policeman now confirmed dead after being crushed by crowds.

After rounds of protests around the Charbagnian islands and a major protest taking place on Wednesday, a second major clash with police erupted today that lead to violence across the nation. However, the clash didn't just take place between the police and the protestors, instead, today's events took and turn for the worse as streets erupted in violent conflict between various protesting factions.

The two warring factions were the Liberté pour les Gens Party (LPLG) and the People's Socialist Democratic Party (PSDP). Both parties have been declared illegal under Charbagnian Law, yet both have been gaining huge footholds in popularity with the populace, with the LPLG having around 22,570 members and the PSDP having around 23,450. Both have clashed before in 2001 when a violent clash lead to several arrests of suspected members by the Charbagnian Police. Today's protest lead to many more casualties and the death of a policeman who was crushed under a mass crowd of people. Despite the violence, both parties gained popularity throughout the years with the LPLG gaining huge ground while the PSDP took a sudden sharp rise in membership in 2015.

Today's protests erupted in Helmwerder, Harelbeke, Denderberg, and Schwarzenbrucke, the four largest cities by population in the Charbagnian Federation. The main conflict took place in Helmwerder where a huge number of protesters, estimated around 4000 took to the streets and protested in front of major landmarks around the city including the Federal Palace again. The LPLG was the first to arrive with the PSDP arriving an hour afterwards, leading to a tense confrontation before the violent street battle.

According to eye-witnesses, several younger protesters began the violence after Molotov cocktails were thrown on the ground as a display of aggression. No one was injured from the explosives but the violence began soon afterwards. It is unknown as to which side began the fight nor who threw the explosives. During the violence, several protesters were injured with grievous head injuries and were suffering from knife attacks. Three policemen were injured with one being crushed by a mass group of people. The state media, 'Die Nachrichten' pronounced him dead after an emergency operation at 4:32 PM. Several protesters have been injured by live rounds fired into the crowds by armed police at later stages in the protest, we have yet to see whether they will survive their operations after being admitted to hospital.

In the other cities, violence was less prevalent as protests remained mostly peaceful until the police began trying to shut them down. In the City of Harelbeke, east of the capital city Helmwerder, the People's Socialist Democratic Party declared the city to be independent from the Charbagnian Federal Government. Most members were armed and stormed several key police stations, capturing key figures in the police. Around 1200 PSDP members took part in the occupation of the city and are now attempting to hold positions around it. According to an illegal PSDP radio broadcast, the Party was inspired by the actions in the Coup in Kachee who have declared the island a Socialist state. They have not yet declared their desire for entry into the EUSR, but it seems that it would be a likely outcome if they manage to hold their position long enough.

This has been vehemently condemned by the Government of Charbagnia who have harshly threatened the Party and their members in Harelbeke with military action. We have yet to see further updates, but several vehicles have been sighted from the Army Base east of Harelbeke. The concern now is what the reaction will be to military action and whether the PSDP will manage to gain further footholds around the country.

BREAKING NEWS : Tube train bombing dead count rises to 85, surpassing the New Wellington Theatre shooting as worst attack in the nation's history

Police have successfully entered and investigated 6 of the 8 carriages on the train that became the scene of a terrorist attack this morning, during the rush hour work commute.

At least 85 people have been killed, and 170 have been injured.

Police have not yet been able to investigate the carriage where the bomber was located, due to the state of the carriage.

Many questions were raised as to how the explosion was so powerful.

The bomber, or bombers, were believed to have used a bomb concealed in a backpack, or in a bag, but many believe that this wouldn't be powerful enough to cause the damage it did.

Police conclude that the explosion caused an exposed gas main (pipe) to explode, which is believed to be the cause of the extensive damage to the carriages.

The bomb however, may have been packed with shrapnel, as many of the injured were found with shards of metal in them.

One survivor, Maria Jones, said this:

"The explosion was huge. It was so powerful, that I saw one man fly out of the window, and onto the tracks."

The President is expected to make a statement either today or tomorrow, and he has announced that he has chaired a meeting with the SCYTHE, the Special Counter Terrorism and Homeland Defence Division, and they are set to make decisions regarding, incoming and outgoing travellers to the nation, the national terror threat level, as well as perhaps closing the borders.

Verona Beach As part of Chief Minister Markwardt's new government transparency initiative, a slew of new documents from the 1960s and early 1970s have been released in full to the public. These papers, written under the administration of F.W. MacAnderson, detail the progress and purposes of the extremely controversial and highly secretive nuclear weapons program that was undertaken during the era. Certain papers contain the full lists of employees, while others contain minutes of formerly top secret meetings between directors and scientists. Some even contain photographs of formulas and nuclear weapons, some of which are missing and presumed destroyed. The Ministry of Justice, previously denied access to these papers, has released a statement detailing how the new papers, coined the "Strangelove Papers" after the movie satirizing the Cold War, will hopefully help them tie up the loose ends and find out where the bombs have ended up. Some papers even describe exactly how the government attempted to hide development by building "dummy reactors" to make it seem to outside ovservers like Verona Beach was in fact developing peaceful nuclear power. (The old reactor plant, previously waved away as an unfinished budget shortfall, is now used as an underground art museum.) Historians have taken serious interest in the papers as they detail the lengths the MacAnderson government went to in order to ensure that the pariah of Verona Beach under the NRP would not be invaded or touched, whether by the Wellsians at the height of Canolam, or other potential threats around the region.

KSYRTRANIAT, POLANIA, EURANIAN FEDERATIVE STATE - The Polanian Republic is bracing for a second night of violence as protests continue within the region. Following reforms introduced which began the transition of Eurania's economy from a controlled communist economy to a market system, Polania, which harbors the highest amount of left-wing groups and people, in addition to the highest amount of atheists in Eurania, had seen escalating violence as thousands marched to protest the new policies, which were organized allegedly by former members of the now-defunct Communist Party of Eurania. This claim has been denied by ideologically far-left deputies of the National Council of Eurania.

While protesting has escalated, reformations issued on Thursday had caused these mostly-peaceful demonstrations to explode. On Friday, shops and streets in Ksyrtraniat and Northern Polania were vandalized and looted as some protesters began openly acting violence as a form of defiance against the Federative State. National Police had clashed repeatedly with violent protesters and has detained at least 90, according to the law enforcement agency.

Meanwhile, police had attempted to break up the protesters marching in the street - leading to at least 30 arrests. Police say that these protesters had caused disruptive behavior and had conducted an unauthorized rally, as defined by current Euranian law. Outrage spewed from some domestic sources, claiming that this 'violated the very idea of protesting'.

The unrest is not expected to die down anytime soon. As dusk approached, Polanians again took to the streets, carrying banners and signs, while others set property on fire, smashed windows, and began fighting with police, who responded with riot gear, tear gas, and rubber bullets.

It is unknown whether the violence will calm at all. According to the organizers of tonight's protest, these will continue until Eurania 'returns to its natural state'.

FREEPORT -- Nate has made landfall on Selian Isle and is expected to continue toward the northern tip of the Caltan Isle before making a tight turn north, maintaining status as a category 3 Typhoon throughout its journey. Meteorological reports from the Port Caltan Weather Authority(PCWA) say winds can reach an excess of 200 km/h and the Ministry of Emergency Services have announced a mandatory state of emergency for the Anin, Kalaha, Siero and Langhatore Autonomies, with Premier Manai Camis urging citizens, “To evacuate the area and seek shelter in one of the established emergency areas.” and that, “This is the worst Typhoon Port Calta has faced in 70 years.” he proclaims.

The PCWA says the severity of Nate has already caused large amounts of damage where it made landfall; as the population was “wholly unprepared” when the Typhoon hit says Mayor Nilan Mantina, of East Harbor city. Flooding is expected to compound the situation, worse than any year, “Judging by how many were unprepared for such a storm and believed they could wait it out, the rescue services of our Coast Guard and local emergency services will be busy.” Minister Ankisin stated in a government edict, ordering the allocation of coastal resources in the area to upcoming rescue operations.

One city many are worried about is New Haven, already experiencing high winds and rain from the incoming Typhoon, about to hit the northern tip of the main island. As the largest city in the country at 4.2 million residents, it’s perhaps the most susceptible to flooding. “The city rest in a small valley nearly at sea level with a canal and an intricate stream network going through the city.” a geological analyst at PCWA points out. “The city has experienced flooding in the past but this increasing severity of Nate is unprecedented.” Though city officials assured that the cities’ intricate causeway, levee and aqueduct system will prevent widespread flooding, a state of emergency has been ordered for those in particular areas of the city to seek shelter on high ground.

The PCWA however disagrees with any hysteria that the capital, Freeport, is under any danger as well. Stating that, “While the city is coastal, it lies in a relatively safe area that’s not flood prone, though it sits on the southern edge of the Shocan Valley and Haven Canal.” So far Freeport is not under any state of emergency, as only mild winds and some rain is expected in the city before the Typhoon turns north.

BREAKING NEWS : President makes statement regarding Evermoore Hill Station bombing

President Alexander Hamilton made a statement today, expressing his condolences.
Besides this, the President confirms one of the nation's most feared thoughts.

"Good morning all. Yesterday morning, at around 10:15 am, in the rush hour morning commute for work, a train at the Evermoore Hill Station was attacked, and a bomb detonated. We can confirm that over 110 people were killed, and that over 300 were injured. We can also confirm that this was the work of at least 2 bombers, in a carefully planned and coordinated attack on our nation. The resulting detonations cause a gas main to explode as well, causing maximum damage and carnage on the morning commute.
Police have investigated the entire train, and have reached the conclusion that 117 people were killed and 301 people were injured.
Emergency services struggled to gain access to the two most affected carriages on the train, which caused a lot more deaths.
The carriages which weren't accessed until 23:33 last night were in the worst state and had the most casualties.
SCYTHE has decided that it is necessary to raise the terrorism threat level to Critical in the wake of the attack.
The borders will remain open, however, more precautions will be put in place.

"We were stupid to not realize this sooner. The signs were everywhere. The refugee crisis, the terror attacks, the Ticking Flu, the hostile relations with other nations...the end is coming. The apocalypse is here. We are going to witness the War of the Beasts!" A man shouted what might sound like nonsense ramblings to most people. But in the local inn, where most of the people were masked due to the fears of the Ticking Flu and from where Athara Magarati Armed Police Force and Vancouvian soldiers could be seen patrolling the streets to curb terrorism, everyone here seemed to agree with him.

"Saint Phalgunanda said in the Kirant Mundhum (holy book of the native semi-Dharmic Kirant Mundhum religion which has the same name) about this. A vision where the White Tigress and the Azure Dragon fought each other as other Great Beasts watched, husbands and wives turned against one another, siblings killed each other and the children lived in madness. The Pyetan Lutan (holy book of the Tamu people) and Book of Masto (holy scripture of the Khas people) as well as many other religious texts speak of something similar." A woman nearby agreed as she sipped the Cajun she was holding. "I have got cousins in Bhikkustan while my friend's husband is a Bhikkustani citizen. If we go to war, we will end up killing brothers and sisters, husbands and wives fighting from opposing sides. Our cultures are so similar and we even have the same ancestry in general. The two nations are the successor states of the Khas-Kirat Empire. Two nations prophecies say will bring the apocalypse if they ever fought."

In October 6th, the Sultanate was overthrown in the Pandiya Islands and the nation (which was in union with the Demokratik Kuunsrach of Athara Magarat) was proclaimed the Kachee Islamic People's Republic. In October 7th, news of 500 infantry troops from the Eastern Union of Socialist Republics alarmed Athara Magarat more than the fact that the Sultanate had become a socialist republic overnight. The Ünen EUSR transport ships are also reported to have brought surface to air missile emplacements, LU-1 fighters and other equipment to Kachee.

In response, the government and military of Athara Magarat has dispatched the Magar, the Tharu, the Dolpo and the Tamu (which survived the "retaliation attack" by the Volkegothic navy) to the Lotus Sea; ignoring what had transpired when Athara Magarati missile ships had entered the area last time (which included a nearly in war with Volkegoth).

Other Athara Magarati citizens as well the politicians and military officials say there is no need to worry about any world-ending war. "Our enemy is the EUSR, not the Bhikkustani people. Our enemy are Ketseluvianists for we ourselves follow the path shown by great leader Ketseluv. The true Bhikkustani government of Khang Survei, in exile in our borders, is the the Azure Dragon and is friendly with us. Together with the Bhikkustani people and our many supportive allies, we shall crush the imperialistic tendencies of the EUSR! The same EUSR that claims to liberate people's aspirations while adding them to its list of annexations." Jrm Hangma said in a nationally televised proclamation, amid reports that she had sent special diplomats to Miklania and members of the C6 and the JEF (Albion Invicta, Belle Ilse en Terre, Covonant, Domanania, Keomora, Noronica and Wellsia), which many see as just the beginning of a possible future war with EUSR. Whether it will be a War of the Beasts is up for debate but it seems the Demokratik Kuunsrach of Athara Magarat and People's Republic of Bhikkustan of the EUSR will have hostile relations for quite a while.

City Of Harelbeke Bombings

According to the Noronnican Consulate in Helmwerder and several live videos from the City of Harelbeke in the Charbagnian Federation, the city has been bombed with what appears to be a chemical agent. According to witnesses, the city is now under heavy fire from what appear to be Government Forces.

Heavy rain from Typhoon Nate in the Selian Isle

Typhoon Nate hits Southern Port Calta, expected to move North and stay strong

Typhoon Nate, a Category 3 tropical storm, has hit the Selian Isle in Port Calta, devastating the area. According to the Port Calta Weather Authority, winds from the storm can reach over 200km/h! The Caltan government has issued a warning to the rest of the country, as it is expected to move North and stay nearly as strong as it already is, only dying down a little bit.

The Suomi Weather Service (SWS), has issued a warning to all of West Suomi to be prepared for the storm, as it will make landfall on the Southern coast of the country in about 18 hours. The SWS advises everyone in West Suomi to be alert and prepared before, during and after Nate hits the country, to minimize devastation. Typhoon Nate will be the strongest tropical storm to hit Suomi in over 15 years, since Typhoon Kenny in 2000.

FIRE SWEEPS THROUGH NATIONAL FOREST!

BELTEMPO -- Citizens of the capital city report seeing large billowing flames and plumes of smoke rising over the national forest, as well as several firetrucks and emergency response vehicles rushing to the scene.

There has yet to be a statement released by the Beltempo Fire Brigade as to what the cause of the fire was, but many have rumored it to have been intentional. This is the first time in over a century that the Beltempo National Forest has caught fire, previously having been caused by the eruption of Mount Diatro in 1908.

So far the fire is still unhindered, and Fire Brigade Captain Lucio Bianachi has stated that "[they] are going to let the fire burn itself out."

"Fire can help a forest very greatly," he continued. "Many coniferous trees that grow in the Beltempo Forest have pinecones that can only open and release seeds under extreme heat."

The potential long term effects of this fire are still yet to be seen. It could spell danger for Atriano's already crippled forests, many of which have been clear cut for the logging industry. Green activist, Sarah Jameson spoke to ANNN about the matter.

"First, we cut down all the forests," she said to ANNN correspondents. "Now we just let them burn. The Atrian government isn't letting the fire burn for some just cause. They're letting it burn because it'd cost them to put the flames out."

"Sooner or later he [president Ricci] is going to have to do something."

City Of Harelbeke Devastated By Attack

Member of the PSDP detained by unmarked armed men

The City of Harelbeke in the east of the Charbagnian Federation has been the victim of a brutal attack by an unmarked force today. The attack began with what is now being confirmed as rocket artillery that shelled the city with the chemical nerve agent Sarin. The city was then invaded by an armed force of over 1000 that bore no insignias or signs of allegiance. These individuals stormed into homes and known key positions of the People's Socialist Democratic Party and kidnapped or killed them. The force has since left the city.

It was at midday when the City of Harelbeke was shelled by what was confirmed as rocket artillery with rockets that carried the lethal nerve-agent Sarin which has been confirmed by the symptoms described and seen in the photographs of citizens affected by the agent. The targets were arbitrary yet they caused mass destruction over the city. The bombing continued for half an hour before relenting, managing to take the lives of what many witnesses are saying, over hundreds. Estimates say that over 300 people are dead, however, there is no official death toll yet. Some of the known areas that were affected by the attack were; a hospital, a Buddhist temple and a park.

Once the first stage of the attack concluded, an unknown force of armed individuals wearing black suits and gas-masks stormed several locations around the city and took at least 200 people from their homes or places of work. The force also attacked positions held by the People's Socialist Democratic Party and either kidnapped or executed hundreds of persons connected with the PSDP. A picture taken by an anonymous source shows that some of the members were escorted outside the city to be questioned or beaten.

After the force left the city, the military arrived to restore order to the streets of Harelbeke. A cleanup operation was performed over areas affected by Sarin, but those who suffered from the chemical attack were put in body bags or left. The military rolled through the streets with several Armoured Personnel Carriers and Infantry Fighting Vehicles, declaring over loudspeakers that the city was under martial law and that a curfew was to be declared.

We are no longer in contact with any witnesses or sources and our Correspondent in Helmwerder has yet to gain any Government or Military sources that can provide a response. So far, the spokesperson for the Government on the state media news programme has officially denied any Government involvement in the attack and has taken an apparent neutral approach, stating,

"Vigilantes are rarely law-abiding. What was done today was necessary to take down the evils of the Socialist uprising, yet the actions taken today were not conventional. We sometimes have to accept a necessary evil, but rest assured we are tracking down those responsible. Now, to address the misconception that has been made internationally, there are no weapons of mass destruction in the Charbagnian Federation. Harelbeke suffered from a freak gas leak that we are trying to investigate. The Government is outraged at the suggestion that our nation may contain such horrible weapons of war, and they shall not tolerate those who falsely accuse them. Several false reports have been made today, yet the symptoms seen in the victims of the gas leak are dissimilar to chemical weaponry."

The Noronnican Foreign Secretary Rachel Harman made a statement today, accusing the Charbagnian Government of lying,

"The Charbagnian Government has chosen to ignore the fact that many witnessed and documented the horrific attack today, and has attempted to place the blame on an 'unknown vigilante'. It seems very unlikely to my colleagues and me that there was a 'freak gas leak' which is a very bad excuse to explain a wide-spread and simultaneous event. I would like the Charbagnian Government to provide evidence to the international community that today's attack was the work of a vigilante group and that there are no chemical weapons in Charbagnia. Failure to comply will land the nation in a lot of trouble."

With news out of correspondents in Noronica confirming a Sarin Gas Attack in the Charbagnian city of Harelbeke, with the President tweeting out earlier today when the actual attack was conducted that "[The] situation is clearly at my attention and I'm discussing with my security team what we can and should do regarding this situation." But I know this usually turns out to mean nothing, so I'm going to say something entirely different.

We should be sending the navy there right now and bringing order to the area before the greedy and soulless communists of the EUSR or the heartless and selfish corporate shills of the C6/JEF/MSTO/CU, whatever they want to label themselves as, carve up the area as their own little playground like they've done with the city-state of Andersite for the last year. The United Republics were once a Titan of the East, and it's damn high time the United Estates steps up and reclaims that title in the name of all Dormill-Stiuraians.

Of course, the weak-willed Richelieu Administration is going to refuse to do anything of substance as to not "disturb the delicate nature of our relationship with the west" so she's probably going to sit back and watch yet another poor civilization in our sea just waste away and cause yet another humanitarian crisis for those in the immediate area to deal with. Pathetic.

What's happened to the victors of the Civil War?

Where's the leadership we were promised so long ago?

And finally, will this be the time the United Estates finally takes responsibility for what goes on in our own backyard?

Prince-Heir Grand Duke Nicholas Alexander of New Aapelistan has been the most discussed subject on Imperialonian news stations for weeks now. From the moment he announced his claim, untill recognition by both the Viceroyalty of Great-Imperialonia, the Union of Covonant and the Roman-Catholic, Greek-Orthodox and Anglican Church he is praised in the country for his determination to restore the monarchy in the New Aapelistan of the CPNA, which has been republican and communist for decades. Today, the Prince-Heir joined us for an interview.

Grand Duke Nicholas Alexander, Prince-Heir of Aprosians

Prince-Heir Nicolas, thank you for joining us today. You have dominated the news for these last weeks with your claim to the Aprosian throne, which is officially recognised by two nations now. Can you explain to our readers some more details about the Džéhar you claim to be?

“My pleasure, I do indeed claim to be the Džéhar of the Aprosian Empire. My line is the direct bloodline of the last Džéhar’s brother, which gives my family the direct divine right to rule New Aapelistan. I am actively striving towards a change of government. I want to replace the People’s Republics with a unitary Empire again. However, unlike my forefathers I change this to be in line with the current way of thinking. I only claim all the republics on the island, and not the lands belonging to the original Aprosian Empire as it was at it’s height in 1100 AD."

You must have known this for a long time, why did you decide to bring this out now, instead of a few centuries ago?

“I can’t speak for my ancestors, but you’re right, I have neglected it for a long time. I had a perfect life in Great-Imperialonia. I felt Imperialonian, I was even appointed member of the States-General and served as senator for 3 years in a branch of the national government, I am a baron... I had no intention to claim to be the rightful right to rule a huge nation. Especially not a nation which is so deep in chaos and under a strict communist dictatorship. The last years however, the situation in New Aapelistan has worsened. President Nijakov and Prime-Minister Lidov have chosen a very nationalist way of governing. It started with the First Nova Sea War and the claim on the Northern Sadievi-Islands and the Kavju War and claim on the Kavju island. The CPNA is steering the people toward a living hell, and I decided I had to take responsibility and protect my homeland against the destruction of communism.”

You surely you have a positive regard towards growing support for your claims. What do you think of the recent endorsements of the powerful people like Cardinal Pius, Viceroy Melas and President Gaius?

“It is a huge leap forward. I was very glad with the support I got from the Cardinal. Even so, I will convert to the Aprosian Faith as soon as I claimed my throne. Aprosians see my family as the succesors of the son of the Gods, it would be my duty to convert. The support from the Imperialonian and Covonant government also mean a lot. We now have two entire countries and a combined population of more than 50 million people backing me. The government of the USRNA has caused the region a lot of harm. President Nijakov and the rest of the Communist Party have misused the Aprosians in a terrible way. Aprosians are seen as ‘those communist dummies’, we have literally have no diplomatic ties other than some hand full of horrible communist dictatorships. I am glad other nations come to realise this, if change is wanted, a new government must take charge and the USNRA must be dissolved completely. We can no longer stay in the shadows and do nothing, it is time people will actively strive toward a replacement of the communist government.

Let’s imagine you manage to take over controll, what will happen specifically in New Aapelistan?

“First of all, the People’s Republic would be dissolved and the monarchy restored, this includes the arrest of the prominent members of the CPNA, including the President and Prime-Minister. I would create a Privy Council to draft a new constitution to guarantee the rights of the Aprosians. This will be a capitalist constitution, in which we allow corporatism again in the country. I would dissolve all Republic’s to create a centralised nation again: Aprosia, with Achinsk as capital, as it was in 1200. The consitution would establish a State Duma and State Council, to introduce a democratic legislative branch again, in which the CPNA can still participate, only in fair general elections. Furtherly I would restore foreign relations and make sure the country can flourish again, with a prosperous and wealthy population.”

You just stated you will not ban the Communist Party of New Aapelistan upon your ascension to the throne, what if the people would make the CPNA the largest party? Will you accept their democratically elected government?

“If that is the case, then yes, I would appoint, endorse and support a Prime-Minister of the CPNA, as long as he is bound to the constitution and the democracy is secured.”

The claim on New Aapelistan became stronger due to support from both Great-Imperialonia and Covonant. What is your next move?

“I will continue to gather more support. I hope more and more nations will strengthen my claim and we will be able to replace the communist government, the best way would be a peaceful transition of power, but we are willing to use any means necessary to back our claim, now this may sound violently, and it possibily will be, but my hope is a domestic uprise. The Aapelistanians are fed up with their government, but have never been able to rally behind a leader. Aprosians, I present myself as your leader. Fight for me, with me and alongside me. Together we will restore our prosperous nation!”

What will happen with the Prince-Heir is the main question asked in Great-Imperialonia. Our correspondent Nick Hammilton reporting from Santa Maria, Trinidad.

It is indeed very interesting what is going to happen. It appears New Aapelistan is trying to just deny everything. We haven't seen any response from their government, which is quite interesting. Grand Secretary Nijakov probably thinks everything will blow over in a couple of weeks. I think he is mistaken however. The fact the Union of Covonant has also recognised Nicholas as the rightfull owner of the throne, gives him and advantage. Two nations, of significant size, have backed his claim. It is hard to predict what will happen next. I've heart rumours the Imperialonian Foreign Ministry is trying to convince Tinashan to recognise Nicholas' claim as well. It seems possible Great-Imperialonia is trying to do this the smooth way. However there is a fact which shall not remain unnoticed. Prime-Minister Montgomery has confirmed the establishment of a military base in West Suomi on the Kavju sea. If the Viceroyalty is really playing it the hard way, the could transport a portion of their navy to the base, which would really provoke the USNRA. Either way, it will be interesting to see the Aapelistanian response.

‘’The Aprosian holy blood line has been cut, once and forever’’ stated Aleksei Nijakov, the premier of EUSR, in his speech to the People’s Assembly yesterday, after an Imperialonian baron claimed to be the heir of the Aprosian Empire, what collapsed over 500 years ago. Only two nations so far have declared the pretender as supposedly, ‘a legal heir’’.

‘’In that sad day, the last Aprosian džéhar, Meráš the Fourth, was assasinated and the empire was left without a righteous heir to the throne, which started a long downfall for our people, with centuries of disunity and open doors to western cultural and political imperialism. For long we had to bear the consuquences of that dreadful day, for so long we had to try to fight against western culture trying to infiltrate into our nation, only to be met with support for these foreign items by our own leaders. Luckily, our fight eventually lead to our victory.

And now, this pretender Nikólaš [Aprosian version of the name], from a foreign country far from ours, with foreign customs, with foreign language and with foreign blood tries to revelsal the results of our fight, once again trying to open us towards the imperialism of the western nations and once again try to destroy our culture. Most outrighteous of all, using our own national heritage as his weapons. This is most unacceptable and I pleadge to fight his power until my last breath!’’

The speech, which was broadcasted across EUSR, was met with large popularity in the People’s Assembly and by the common people, and with applauses and comments in the People’s Assembly. One of them being from Artjom Kulágin, famous in NA for his conservatism and highly nationalistic views.

’’I highly agree with our premier. An outrageous move. But shall I remind everyone in this Assembly, that we have had pretenders before. Difference with pretenders and actual rulers, is that the pretenders stay as pretenders.’’

Throughout it’s relatively short history, modern NA’s and now EUSR’s nationalistic and conservative policies have attracted positive views from many, with an 79% approval rating of the government.

National Economical Reform Plan publiced by the Ministery of Economy

In the People’s Assembly seating yesterday, Minister of Economy Rasim Žélevód announced a planned reform for the national economy of the EUSR ‘after months of planning’.

The National Economical Reform (Ćalóđní Štatýnejj Raszévúlşá, ĆŠR in Aapelistanian), first proposed by an Aprosian economist, Valerí Razúd, starts an small scale privatization of the economy, giving more responsibility for enterprise’s income and expenses and by expanding the enterprises own autonomy greatly.

When asked about results of this reform, Minister of Economy Rasim Žélevód commented that a GDP growth of 70 billion USD in one year after the new economic policies are fully entered is possible.

As reactionary regime of Charbagnia steps up its oppression, the EUSR reacts

This last week has been a tumultuous time in the east of the Western Isles. Firstly there was the auspicious Kachee revolution and their peaceful integration into the Eastern Union of Socialist Republics, an event that was widely celebrated across the EUSR. Sadly, this event has strained relations with former ally Athara Magarat, a nation that shares close cultural ties with the EUSR but which is currently under the control of Jrm Hangma, a leader who has shown no control or diplomatic tact and has raised tensions with many nations across the isles. Thasim Gurung, ambassador of the EUSR to Athara Magarat, stated that "this current freeze in relations between our nations is sad. It seems that Jrm Hangma, though we do not wish to lower relations further, has overstepped her bounds and is leading the nations into a collision course. She and her cronies wish to anger the azure dragon which has only grown stronger in its marriage to New Aapelistan. The EUSR wants nothing more than brotherhood with Athara Magarat, but if she cannot see that, then I advise her people to speak up. Do not sell your fine nation out to the imperialists of MSTO. They were the ones who funded Saikhang and the Federal Khangate which tore Bhikkustan asunder. They would prefer you return to Eagle Brigade days than join hand in hand with your Khas-Kirati brothers. We do not need you to join the EUSR. We do not wish for an imperialist move. We simply wish for our historic brotherhood to continue and to keep our family together as friends. Ekta nai baal ho. Unity is strength. Please do not turn your greed into a rift."

The other main event was the Harelbeke bombings, where the criminal government of Charbagnia unleashed a chemical weapon onto the innocent townspeople before soldiers beat people and arrested them just for expressing political opinions. Among the targets was a buddhist temple. Acahn Therewitu, a member of the High Buddhist Assembly of the EUSR, spoke out strongly against this horrific crime. He said that "Such wanton death on a place of peaceful reflection shows how criminal and disgusting the regime is in Charbagnia. It was confirmed that the local monks, all of Bhikkustani ethnicity, were killed in the attack. This offence to the dhamma shall not be tolerated by our nation."

Vice-Premier Mattahyom, in a public appearance, announced that the EUSR would station an additional 3,000 troops in Kachee over fears that the island could be attacked by Charbagnian aggressors, with tanks and missiles deployed as well. The EUSRS Yamantaka and several other naval vessels were also deployed, ensuring that the EUSR is not only able to defend its territory but can also retaliate if the situation deteriorates any more. Vadím Kaşajóv of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs also announced that sanctions were in place on Charbagnia, but also that embassies had been closed and that any nation that was suspected of helping Charbagnia would also face sanctions.

Catubal -- Street preachers have never been an unusual sight here in large Atrian cities such as Catubal. What is an unusual sight, however, is seeing one being pepper sprayed and fired upon with rubber bullets by riot police. Father Elmerzio Bentovicci has been preaching atop soapbox in the busy streets of Catubal for over two decades now, and never before has he met any hostility from the police. This all changed late Saturday afternoon, when a full squad of riot police charged at him, brutally subduing him and arresting him.

"I'm speechless," says Andria Betovicci, Father Elmerzio's brother. "He's been on that street corner in front of the parish everyday for the past 23 years. The town loves him, the police love him! Never have I seen such utter brutality."

The Alessandru Ricci presidency has been one of many changes, especially regarding religion. Earlier this year President Ricci made the controversial move of removing the Religious Adivser, a position in the cabinet that has existed since this country's rough transition from a theocratic monarchy to a democratic confederacy in 1963. Many of Atriano's large catholic population saw this as an obvious power move directed towards the people of faith in Atriano. Now, with the arrest of multiple peaceful priests preaching their concerns seem to be valid.

Father Elmerzio is not the first in his position. In September there were three separate arrests of priests in cities across the nation. Countless other churches and chapels have reported seeing a rise in police, and in a few cases military personnel, patrolling the streets around their houses of worship. While there hasn't been much hostility towards churchgoers, an ANNN correspondent reports to us that many feel threatened and intimidated by the authorities' presence when they simply wish to worship.

Colomba Efis spoke to ANNN reporters early after the incident in Catubal.

"It truly is a shame to see this happen to God's chosen country. Atriano used to be so holy, when I was a young girl and we still had our King I had no doubt that we'd all get to those great white gates. Now, I expect to see this island sink down to hell."
