National Ahernric Police Service personnel respond in Damhford.
It appears that in the wake of Ahern NaAchill's demands for the execution of convicted army Corporals Pendry and Breen, the National Ahernric Police force has carried out the deed. Witnesses, many of who were walking down the busy street to work, claim that there was a commotion outside of the courthouse. One witness, told the Telegraph that National Ahernric Police Service personnel were coercing Corporal Ariana Pendry and Dermot Breen towards the nearby street corner.
Another witness (both remain anonymous) reports that they heard shouting on a loudspeaker once the two prisoners were brought to the corner, and traffic stalled in the intersection and on the street outside the courthouse. According to the witness, one of the NAPS officers stood on top of one of their military style vehicles and read out the two army prisoners' sentencing. "He read out a list of [Pendry and Breen's] crimes," claimed the witness, "after each one he said they were guilty. He said that 'by order of the Ahern, they were sentenced to execution.'"
Stunned witnesses in the surrounding crowds report hearing two gunshots, and seeing the bodies of both convicted Corporals fall into the street near the sidewalk. However there was mass panic as more gunfire ensued. An unknown number of gunmen--Highland terrorists--started to fire on the NAPS forces from buildings and the street level. These first shots were fired around 8:50 AM, and authorities declared the scene safe again by approximately 9:30 AM. During the course of the battle, several National Police personnel were struck by hostile fire. They have since recovered the bodies of a host of Highland terrorists, and are searching for at least two more based on reported blood trails.
The bodies of both Corporals could not be found after 9:30 AM, and they were no longer where witnesses believed them to have been laying. There is no witness testimony on the disappearance of the bodies, due to the confusion. It is also unclear if the extremist insurgent attack was directly linked to the case of Pendry and Breen, or if it was opportunistic. However, authorities are hunting down those responsible, and making sure that such terror doesn't affect the Owinn people of Damhford again.
