Domanania Invades

At 5:58AM the corrupt nation of Domanania attacked the city of Voyaguer killing 80,000 innocent civilians and capturing an additional 2,000. Currently Occupying the city, the Domananian troops have been vicious, torturing citizens and raiding homes and businesses. President Antionette addressed the nation at 10:30 am on live television from the Estate Assembly building where she was originally supposed to be presenting her revised gun control bill. Her speech is as follows:

"My fellow Pacifiers, Today at 5:58 am, Domanania troops unleashed a unwarranted attack on our city of Voyageur, killing 80,000 civilians and taking an additional 2,000 captive. This act of war was cowardly unleashed upon innocent Pacifiers who could not defend themselves. The Domananian military is obviously afraid of us as they would not confront us head on, instead they attacked those lower than them. In response to the unforgivable actions by Domanania, the PPU has sent troops to Riviere and Annuaire in response to the threats of impending attack on the cities We have also sent more troops to further lock down the southern portion of the unclaimed land to west. We will not let these ruthless attacks go unheard. Thank you.

With the soldiers came the aiming of CPS's new biological warheads at Domanania main land and at Voyaguer as a safety measure. Any sudden moves and the Warheads will be launched, containing the VA1 virus they are sure to get the PPU's point across. Fortunately the lock down of the southern half of the unclaimed land was successful and is currently under PPU control a map will be located below. May the PPU prosper.

Marselíe unveils holiday decoration

Today, Marselíe's holiday-decoration was officially unveiled by PM Dulamont. The event was postponed a day after a blackout had caused a stir in the capital yesterday. The blackout was caused by a storm, power plants and transformers in the capital-department were shut down preemptively. Yet this did no harm to the festivities, which were immediately picked up again the next day and the decorated parliament was unveiled by the prime minister.

The prime minister also delivered the traditional holiday-speech, which this year was critiqued as being too short by many.
"I know that for many of you, this year has been bad to you. Both on a personal level, and the country we call home has it no different. The international situation is not going easy on us, and the economy has not been the best either. Help for the region of Youkraneana

Since the violence in the Youkranean part of the Union. First Royal Consul Melas called for military aid for Youkraneana. Together with Second Royal Consul Wessel his proposal passed through the senate. With the problem of the conservatives against a 2/3 majority wasn't reached. The suggestion passed back to the consuls. Which demanded another way.

"Since I am mostly disappointed in the conservative party they didn't approve the law we are sure going to help our brothers. Fabian Blackheart, count of unification has a clear task from me and my ministry, we will use the army for aid in Youkraneana." Says Melas; Blackheart demanded Great General Krateon Unifo to appoint about a thousand soldiers to maintain peace in the region of Youkraneana. They are on their way to stop the protests against the church.

"This is not our case, it's time that the royals realise that we can't deal with every problem!" So says the leader of the conservative party. He is neglected by the rest of the senate.

Despite the trouble, the Royal Socialistic Conservative Party in the General Assembly ordered no closure of the General Assembly and no extra guards. They will just go on with their ordinary schedule.

Military forces establish an outpost in the land connected to Organa Island

Just hours ago, Oglassan military left the borders and went into the area of land unclaimed by Oglassa. They have set up an outpost there and we can speculate that they intend to annex the international territory. Which will cause public outcry on a major scale. Currently, the reasons for the establishment of the outpost is unknown, as military officials refused to speak with another inquirers. This has been Valory Caesar, signing off.

Hodgsonistan sends Troops to the ID

Yesterday, after talks with the Vancouvian government and members of the League of the Western Isles, the state Department, defense department and president agreed to send one Infantry Company (100 soldiers) to the main base there. They will be flown in tomorrow by ET-16 Class Transport Plane and will take with them 15 AP-32 Class Light Personnel carriers and two Large trucks. This announcement comes as the newly elected Hodgsonistan government takes office, as one of the first of the new president's major diplomatic acts. The Hodgsonistan government wishes to co-operate with all other nations in the ID and hopes that the infantry company will be able to help increased development in the area. The President has also begun talks on sending one or more Engineer Companies to improve the infrastructure of the ID, more word on this later.

Arrival in Xrevaro

The Ansuan deployment to help relieve and rescue the beleaguered Xrevaro people has arrived in the Manakasókó province where they have quickly dispersed into the country with the aid of local officials. This disaster relief and sequential assistant with the long term criminal problem in the country has the support of the league, whom the plan was brought before not long ago.

The Xrevaro government has been mildly surprised by this development, and initial news report and social media had painted an entirely different view of what was going on. But this misinformation has quickly be dismissed by more legitimate sources who are working with the Ansuan Government to help improve the Ansu military's ability to give aid. The Xrevaro government has since been quite responsive to the aid being given by the Ansuan military.

Milano Lombardia Republic Surrenders to Imperialist Ansu

Today former President Valentino has signed an Official Surrender to the Empire of Ansu and declared Milano a Province of the Empire. In return the following treaty has been signed with the add on that no Milano Citizen can be drafted into the Military against his will.

Today the Milano people have started several rallies to remember the greatness of the former Republic however no major events have come in direct confrontation with Ansu rule. The government of the Province has come out with an Official Report on all the benefits of the conquest and how it is much better to live with this military protection than to die fighting to live without it.

The Parliament of the Milano Republic is now setting up elections for the new Leader of the Ansu Province of Milano Lombardia. The New "Milano Head Governor" elections will be between the current heads of the current Political Parties including President Valentino.

New Artist Rocks the Musical World

Last week, the musical world was rocked when young artist Sara Kéli released her hit single, Stone Cold. The song shattered many records, and jumped straight to #3 on the Isles Hot 100 when it was released. Over this week, it steadily overtook Amour Rouge as the #1 song, and her soon to come out album is highly anticipated. The song has sold 3 million copies this week, giving it triple platinum.

Sara Kéli is one of the Isles youngest singers, but is steadily rising to fame. After releasing her first single, In The Rain, she began to gain recognition, and signed with Isle Records, the same label Tyr and Scarlett are signed to.

The Department for Foreign Affairs has re-evaluated its stance on the I.D. absorption.

The absorption of the I.D. by Vancouvia has benefited all, save those brave VNF soldiers lost in skirmishes around the I.D. We have reevaluated our position on the absorption, and now endorse it. SMI-2 saves hostages being held by Mesder Sea Pirates

After the raid on Ioakim Georgiy Adaksin, a noted Pirate and Terrorist, some of his followers not involved in the raid captured a luxury yacht, it was unknown of what nationality the people on board were, but the terrorists were holding them hostage and had already killed one by the time an SMI-2 strike force arrived on scene. The SMI-2 team were able to kill all the pirates with all the hostages surviving, although one of the hostages did get hit in the ensuing gunfight and is being treated. We are waiting on information on the people who were on the boat from the government and will notify you when.

Most of the churches were burnt down and many lay dead on the streets. As the soldiers continued to march towards the government buildings they were assaulted by three gunmen. Surprisingly none of the men were killed but one was sent home after a bullet grazed his skull. The three gunmen were killed and the soldiers marched on.


So far it remains unclear if this will solve the problem.

Government Announces Plans to Annex the Area to the South

Recently, Oglassan Military moved into unclaimed land for a previously unknown reason.

CPS Launches Reconnaissance Satellite, The Red Dove travels to Xreavro, Chauveau University Becomes a Regional Leader in Education, IPS to transfer confidential CPS materials to AMBER

Today and 3 o'clock sharp, CPS launched their 3rd Reconnaissance Satellite into space. The Satellite deemed CIS will provide Radar imaging, Electronic-reconnaissance, Photo surveillance, and Missile Early warning. Command of CPS César Perreault stressed how important this is in CPS's expansion into space and dominating the regional race for intelligence. Speaking of CPS, for the first time in history a private company is transporting materials for the organization. IPS (Isles Postal Service) a leading delivery service in The Western Isles has agreed to transport confidential items via ship from Annuaire to AMBER on the îles Du Soleil. There has been much speculation on what exactly is on the cargo ship, from nuclear weaponry to slaves, both seem highly unlikely and CPS denied all allegations.

Also noteworthy today is The Red Dove, who Traveled to Xrevaro, specifically the city of Aubló to set up health care services that are currently not provided to some of the populace. From patching up wounds to curing illness, The Red Dove seems to be leaving a big imprint in Xrevaro and hopefully the rest of the region soon. A spokes person for the Red Dove explained how the organization plans to travel deeper into Xrevaro as there is many more that need their help. The Red Dove is also starting a Tree of Hope campaign and will be commenting on it at the Dashgrinaari Holiday party next week. In short for every ornament donated, one dollar will be given to help domestic abuse victims of the region via the Western Isles Woman's Campaign. Each Ornament will be hung up on the regional tree in Pacifique. So far a total of 1200 ornaments have been gifted to The Red Dove which is a lot considering they started the program three days ago.

In other news Chauveau University was awarded the Educational Award of Excellence last night at the EUS (Educators United Society) conference. Since 2005 Chauveau University has grown rapidly specifically in medical research. It is said if you get a degree there, you can get a health related job anywhere in the region. As Chauveau University continues to expand more and more students are applying however the University is notorious for its incredibly low acceptance rate at 3.1 percent, but the University's committee plans on upping it by next year. They plan on opening a new campus in Annuaire, it should be complete by late 2016 and comprise of some of the best technology available. President Antoinette has spoken at the university numerous times and the First man Mikl is expected to be present on the Versailles campus next month. Turnover in the I.D.

The Vancouvian Congress announced today its recall of General Harold Storm from Camp Plymouth. At noon today, General Storm marched with his company from his headquarters to the port of Camp Plymouth, where at he was given a celebratory Seventy-Two Gun Salute, the Vancouvian anthem was played by the Vancouvian National Army Band, and Senators Henry Mayfair and Jiao Wan issued speeches praising the general for his service in the International District.

"I speak to you from safe steps," Senator Wan spoke. "But I could not be here today without the leadership, courage, and tenacity of General Storm. Through his undivided attention to this operation, we have liberated a land of ruin and greed and lawlessness and evil from the hands of the enemy. We have tore our foes to pieces, established justice and order, brought upon a new era of peace and prosperity, and uplifted the hearts of men. Our brave soldiers have given their lives for this cause: so that our diplomats and traders could walk the streets in peace. So that no longer would the internationalists be afraid to go about their lives. So that the jewel of the region would once again be clear and full of color. We thank our soldiers, we thank our allies, and we thank General Storm. Long live Vancouvia, and long live these Free Lands."

Henry Mayfair spoke on a similar topic: "I am pleased to announce to you all today, that although our operation is not complete, we have effectively secured the I.D. to such an extent that we can safely provide for the total security of the City itself. We hereby announce our recommendation for the League to return to their rightful headquarters in the heart of the City."

General Colin Ham is said to be Storm's replacement in the I.D. No word has been given yet on any progress to transition the I.D. under local government control. We are told troop levels will decrease by about one-quarter, while the navy will continue patrols of the sea surrounding the island.

Henry Lucer Next Prince?

Following the funeral for former Heir Apparent Nathan Lucer, debate has ignited in the question of Atnian succession. Mary Wessich, considered prime contender for the throne, has unexpectedly found competition. Henry Lucer, son of the Prince's late son, Arthur Lucer, has come forward. Following his father's death in 2006, Henry was lambasted for his unmannerly behaviour and withdrew from public life to deal with a rumoured addiction to cocaine. While not ineligible for the throne, it was assumed by experts that he would abdicate his claim.

However, the young royal came forward earlier today with the following statement:

"Dearest Atnians, I stand before you a humble man. When i was a young boy, my father once told me that there was only one flaw a man should never succumb to....cowardice. Well, I have been a coward. I hid from you, my people, when I should have stood before you. No more.

Henry Lucer was born in 1981. He studied politics at the Royal University and served in the Royal Navy as a search and rescue diver until recalled at his father's death in 2006. He entered public scrutiny for his partying, drug use and pro-socialist statements in the year that followed. He withdrew from public life in early 2008 , only appear for official events two times since.

His reentry as a contender for the throne has sparked debate on policies of royal inheritance. Furthermore it has reignited controversies on drug use among nobles.

The Condor S/VTOL aircraft has
served the Fleet Air Arm loyally.

This morning saw the last flight of the legendary Commonwealth produced aircraft, the Condor.

The last remaining aircraft, in service with the Commonwealth Navy, touched down on the deck of RFAS Charlotte - the Navy's latest generation of aircraft carrier.

Having served loyally in the Fleet Air Arm for nearly 50 years, the decision was made to retire the iconic aircraft.

Developed over 60 years ago, the Condor was a world-class and unique aircraft for its time and remains one of the few types of aircraft capable of vertical or short take-off and landing (V/STOL).

Using its unique ability to take off and land vertically, the Condor was an ideal aircraft to be used on the cramp decks of aircraft and helicopter carriers.

Its requirement for small areas to take off made it idea for the air force too, who would be able to deploy for hard-to-identify areas of cover, such as woodland clearings.

Despite the numerous upgrades to the original design, it was decided that a new aircraft was needed to replace the Condor after the deployment of a new carrier.

Replacing the Condor is the
Gabriel stealth S/VTOL aircraft.

Many aircraft was considered, including the Joint-Strike Fighter, an upgraded Condor and even a stealth Condor. However, the design of the Gabriel was chosen.

A few Condors will remain on standby until full deployment of the Gabriel, with the rest of the 30 airframes placed in controlled-environment storage.

"The Condor was a brilliant aircraft to fly," said Group-Captain Abe Florence.

"She is a truly iconic aircraft and we'll be sad to see her go. But we need to adapt and modernize. The Condor is passing on a proud tradition of aviation to the latest generation of aircraft."

The Gabriel is set to enter service in early 2016, as the last of initial training and crew orientation is complete over the winter period.

With the damages from the Ice storm full recovered from and Ansuan troops maintaining tight control to prevent looting and crack down on criminals, the country has announced its intent to annex Xrevaro. This has taken place following a special request by the countries government during a meeting with Tanaka, which ended with the favorable addition of a new protectorate in the empire.

Additionally the first election in Cardia under the new suffrage laws has taken place, allowing Mr. Kagome, Yuuto to win in a landslide election. Leader Tanaka has publicly congratulated the newly elected governor of the island who has announced his plan to hold a vote about officially joining the Ansu empire as a protectorate. It seems fate has smiled upon the empire.

So Long, Savant!

This is the end of an era. So long Savant, it was good knowing you!

Bradley Engines announced today that the 2016 model of their iconic Savant would be the car's last.

"It had a good run," says spokesperson Abel Dontater, "but the Savant isn't the vehicle needed in this generation. It's not the Bradley Engine's way to get hung up on tradition. We are built on innovation, invention and passion. We remain dedicated to providing reliable, affordable and stylish vehicles, and we look forward to what the future brings."

The Savant was first introduced in 1956 as a hgh-end luxury vehicle, but soon became synonymous with the middle class as it became a status symbol among the veterans of World War II. Noted for its reliability, the vehicle became B.E.'s flagship model through the 60's and 70's. However, sales have declined since the 90's as larger, more powerful vehicles become the norm. In the past two years, sales of the Savant have dropped upwards of 17%.

The news of the cancellation of the model line comes as no surprise to experts. A special "Final Edition" of the Savant, based on an update of the original luxury design, is rumored to be in production.
