Jyoti Thapa, the Hangma of Athara Magarat
Jrm Hangma, what are your views on the Doman Documents?
It is a matter of very little surprise if I have to be frank. We have always known that the entire Isles have prepared their defenses to work counter us if we ever went imperialist in the future; especially our neighbors.
But the people are mostly concerned. Opinion polls indicated that 68% of our citizens felt betrayed.
We invaded Domanania more times than any other nation in the Isles. Of course they are still wary of us. The past couple of decades might have enhanced our friendship; particularly with both of our nations becoming linked by the Coalition of Six and shared defense. We buy their small arms while they utilize Magarati-built ships and electronics. Magarati businessmen and researchers choose Tiwe island as one of the best destinations for their work while Domananian students and factory workers have enriched our industries. However, we had forgotten the history between the two nations in the process - which I presume is why many Athara Magarati citizens felt they were betrayed by a close ally.
But the so-called Magarati Plan of the Doman government aimed to perform nuclear bombing on our industries, cities and military centers. Should we not be worried?
I am baffled at how people only react to the big news without reading it fully. I contacted my Domananian counterpart and this incident has been talked over. Even Paragraph 2nd, Page 15 of the leaked documents mention that the Magarati Plan has been removed as the primary means to counter our imperial ambitions in the future. They will place sanctions on us rather than Kaski island turning into a nuclear wasteland. Besides, there are more worrying situations around the Isles than this fictional threat our citizens are unnecessarily worried about.
More worrying situations?
The political instability within the Ilsan monarchy and the volatile situation in Lortika are of great concerns for us. We cannot stand and watch as a neighboring country burns. However, we will also maintain our distance and only raise the issue of the Lortik minority facing cultural erasure at the hands of the Ilsan nobles for now. We have thousands of Lortik refugees arriving on our shores to escape persecution; telling us the horrors of unwarranted murders and rapes.
That aside, the war in Charbagnia is still ongoing. Many valiant Noronicans and Vancouvians - and let us not forget the soldiers from Ostehaar, Corindia and our nation Athara Magarat - (who) have lost their lives while establishing peace in the Charbagnian Federation. And then there is the civil war in Orsandia creating problems for other Gael nations. And then we have news of Illa Isle's citizens declaring their independence from Vancouvia. In Orsandia and the Illa Isle case, we sadly have no other option than to keep our silence for now until we learn more of what has occurred. Or more specifically, we do not want to barge in without receiving affirmative nods from other powers concerned.
Tell me, how are these issues not more troubling than the out-dated Magarati Plan? Perhaps, even more worrying now is the rapid militarization taking place in Oturia and rumors of the formation of an empire. And from our own historical experiences, we can say that imperialist militarization can bring forth senseless damage and destruction. Even more than what is happening in the Ilsan monarchy, Charbagnia, Orsandia and Illa Isle right now. Examining the events taking place in the Isles, one cannot help but wish for the revival of a scenario similar to Pax Kirati and Pax Magarati.
What do you mean by that, Jrm Hangma?
Perhaps another time.

“This is obviously a matter for the Electoral Council, as they are in charge of matters pertaining to the land but the Federal Government does have grounds to respond to this matter. It is the Federal Government which addresses matters that impact environmental sustainability.
Now that we’ve established that, it is time to declare the official government stance on it.
We will not block it. We will not support it, but at this point we will refuse to block it. We must let the courts deal with this matter, but we will be seeking legal advice and will further investigate the case of the Aranden mine and if there are grounds for our government to block the proposal, we will.
It is not the place of the government to further interfere in the free market, but if there is concrete evidence that can be independently verified we must take this into consideration and move forward based on the facts.
It is the reality that we currently do not have all the facts we want. We are suspicious, perhaps worried by the developments of the Aranden mine and we hear the voices of the protesters on the streets but there needs to be due process. There might be merit in this mine being constructed and we need to explore the sides of for and against before we make our decision. Of course, we need to also examine the construction of this new mine against our international obligations such as what the Kirsdoff Protocol mandates we do. The Aranden proposal is at an early state and we will be working with the Electoral Government of Dallama to get all the facts. We ask for your patience whilst we get more facts and can offer a more pragmatic decision. Thank you.”

My children, God save us all. In the midst of the night, our brothers, who passionately saved our clergy from political persecution and prison, who never shot a bullet in the process, who showed mercy in their acts, who had wives, children, mother, and sister, were slain without true justice and a jury. It is a travesty. It is not human! It is not Christian! This suffering is not moral in any way! Those who took part in it ought to confess and repent for they have pierced the heart of our Lord! Mother of those killed in the dead of night, pray for us, graciously hear us. Through this see and as governor of the whole of the Jimenean Church, I declare the Guadalupanas as honorable Christian soldiers whose deeds are to be exalted for generations. A "Holy War" is to be conducted. War is an evil but so is the death of innocence itself. We must not allow it, those who are with the government seek the destruction of we, the Church. Of you, the Church. Of Christ, our Lord. I pledge to serve you and our Church, a shepherd must tend to his flock and must be willing to lay down his life for his people. This red cassock of mine will be red with blood, it is my purpose. For you and for Christ.
