WEINAM TO MONITOR OTURIA MILITARIZATION.

Weinam has stated that is to monitor Oturia very closely as news of it's planned re-militarization was announced. Weinam's top Military Commander, General Tu Lei Chang spoke this morning to Government members insisting that Weinam watches it's neighbor, but stresses that it is to be a precautionary measure. General Tu Lei Chang spoke at length about a nations right to defend itself, but with ongoing conflicts in neighboring Gael, countries that are beginning to rearm is a cause for concern. Weinam shares the sentiments of it's southern neighbor, Wellsia, who also announced that Oturia's plans was to be watched.

It is unknown just how Weinam plans to monitor Oturia, one such avenue open to Weinam is that of the countries state-of-the-art military drones could be deployed in surveillance roles, while face to face diplomatic talks could also be considered if necessary, but as stated, Weinam is just looking out for the interests of itself and it's fellow Argus nations given that Gael is still engulfed in conflict close by.

The news of Oturia and it's military plans comes also as Weinam is preparing to move some 10,000 troops to it's southern borders to beef up security. Regional Police Forces are struggling to manage the countries vast borders and have the welcomed the move that will see a large military presence along the several border crossings and key trade routes.

WEINAM CAPTAIN YEN TO RETIRE AFTER ISLES CUP.

Weinam's National Captain, Donny Yen has announced that he to retire from international duty after the Isles Cup. The 32 year old confirmed this morning that the tournament will be his last in a Weinamese shirt during a conference at the teams training ground. Yen, who has played 74 times for Weinam, cited his decision to quit international football was down to age and his desire to continue playing top level football with his club - Hong Yuong FC.

Yen has scored 22 times for Weinam and was inspirational in getting Weinam to the Isles Cup this year, but felt that once the cup was over, to leave his national duties and continue playing for his club.

Yen said, "It's obviously a hard decision. I love my country and have always been proud to wear the national shirt. But I'm almost 33 years old and I no longer have the fitness and energy I did ten years ago. I want to continue playing at club level and I have to make sure I am physically able to keep playing. I will be very sad when I have to wear the shirt for the last time, but we are going to make this tournament very special and I intend to make sure I play my best".

This has caused an outrage of some of the fans who began to riot, luckily the police were there to settle things down.

Some incidents of Oturian fans harassing Agadarian fans was also reported and is being investigated.
We here at DCN must remind everyone that these actions are unsportsmanlike and socially unacceptable, please play nice.

Fahraxian supporters in sorrow as national team can't even win a single match

Many Fahraxian football supporters have been waiting for the beginning of the CEFA qualifiers and were sure that the firts matches the nation's football team would face would result in a easy win, some were even certain that Fahraxi will win the championships. Until the first match between Menna Shuli began. The first half seemed to prove the Fahraxians right before the tables were suddenly turned in the second half when the score became 3-2 in favor of Menna Shuli. Our footballers tried their best to score but unfortunately they did not succeed. The next matches against Thuzbekistan and San Jimenez both ended in ties and the first red card in the CEFA qualifiers for Fahraxi. With not even one single victory, many Fahraxian supporters are doubting if Fahraxi can win the championships...

Fahraxi strengthening its foreign relations in the Isles

Many improvements have been made by King Rasheed Al-Amyr under his reign. He has allowed women into the army and given them equal opportunity in society. Despite women in Fahraxi still not having as much rights as men have and despite the rise of journalists being arrested and prosecuted, his approval ratings are at an record high. And now our King has focused his attention to world politics. During his time in the International District, he was able to make two valuable allies who both are located near Fahraxi in the Southern Sea. These two allies are Iosnil and Gamadion. However these two are not the only allies we have: Kho Panha and Teronita have also become our friends. Petroleum which our nation is filled with, is being exported to these nations as we speak and we certainly are profiting from it. King Rasheed is still interested in making more allies in The Western Isles and is open to talks at all times.

Other headlines:
 • A professor of Rayidh University suggests replacing handshakes with high fives. "You won't believe how much bacteria is being transferred during a handshake."
 • "Since we already can have seven wives here in Fahraxi, why can't we have an unlimited amount of wives then?" Prince Husani Al-Amyr suggests after marrying his seventh wife.
 • 46 year old man spends entire day in a well, says his day his well spent.

Cosie Qualifies For Western Isles Cup
Cosians celebrate qualification thanks to Verona Beach

Fireworks being set off in the Gaderine sky
following Verona Beach's victory over Haasar.

GADERINE, AR - Verona Beach's resounding 7-0 victory in their football match against Haasar gave cause for cheer from their most ardent fans: Supporters of the Cosian national team. Thanks to the result, Cosie's football team have officially qualified for the 2018 IFAF Western Isles Cup, one of the most prestigious sporting events in the region.

The Cosian team, affectionately known as The Crocs, needed their Veronese rivals to prevent Haasar from winning their match to ensure Cosie's passage to Corindia in the tournament. Whatever worries Cosian fans had about Haasar's chances were laid to rest 45 minutes into the match; Verona Beach had already scored three goals by then, and the Haasch could never find a response against their opponent's relentless offense.

"Sure, it took another country to help us get through to the finals, but they couldn't have done that without some effort on our part!"
- Clarita Felix, Cosian football fan

Cosians were already celebrating before the end of the match. By sunset, various crowds of white and teal, colours of the Cosian football team, took to the streets of Cosie's cities as they let out their joy for the team's historic qualification. Buccaneer ships off the coast of Shoretown fired their cannons in celebration of the team's achievement. At night, teal fireworks were set off in Gaderine, as if to confirm to the island that Cosie's football team has made it at the regional stage.

"I normally don't follow the national team as they never seemed to get anywhere in the past," said Clarita Felix, a reveller among Cosie's raucous football supporters in Embrace. "But they've definitely proved me wrong this year with their strong performances! Sure, it took another country to help us get through to the finals, but they couldn't have done that without some effort on our part! 'Mon De Crocs!"

Roger Garvin, owner of Shoretown beach bar Jolly Roger's, relishes the extra revenue that'll come with the national team's qualification. "(Do) you know how much I make when The Crocs come on TV these days?" said Garvin. "Hundreds upon hundreds, maybe even a thousand! If being in the Cup means our boys will show up on TV more, you know I'm going to make the most of it!"

Old age didn't stop Rosita Smith from joining the revellers celebrating Cosie's success down in Sursieton. "'Mon De Crocs! 'Mon De Crocs!," cried the 82-year-old as she waved her cane in the air. "We gon d'mo dem we de rays de futbol, fe ver! 'Mon De Crocs!"

Giulian, President of Cosie, congratulated the Cosian national football team in a specially-prepared speech at the Cosian Palace. "We, the people of Cosie, are proud of what our boys have achieved on this historic day," said Giu. "We have not only proven our humble island's sporting prowess at a regional level; we have proven that Cosie can coexist alongside our brothers in the Western Isles with no fear and no suspicion between us. On behalf of us Cosians, I wish for nothing but great success for our national football team."

Cosie will be one of more than 24 nations competing in the 2018 IFAF Western Isles Cup hosted by Corindia, where Norstham are looking to defend their title as the best national football team in the region.

The ideals behind Pax Kirati and Pax Magaratis to be revived?

Image
Trade flowed from Mesder to Argus and Gael and vice versa in Pax Kirati

NEW LIBANG

The recent leaks of the Doman documents and political instability in neighboring Belle Ilse en Terre have led to a flurry of discussions in Athara Magarati politics. The Hangma's office created public interest when it announced that the government was interested in working on the revival of the ideals of Pax Kirati and Pax Magaratis. Our correspondents spoke to various influential politicians to learn more.

Image
Jyoti Thapa, the Hangma of Athara Magarat

Jrm Hangma, what are your views on the Doman Documents?

It is a matter of very little surprise if I have to be frank. We have always known that the entire Isles have prepared their defenses to work counter us if we ever went imperialist in the future; especially our neighbors.

But the people are mostly concerned. Opinion polls indicated that 68% of our citizens felt betrayed.

We invaded Domanania more times than any other nation in the Isles. Of course they are still wary of us. The past couple of decades might have enhanced our friendship; particularly with both of our nations becoming linked by the Coalition of Six and shared defense. We buy their small arms while they utilize Magarati-built ships and electronics. Magarati businessmen and researchers choose Tiwe island as one of the best destinations for their work while Domananian students and factory workers have enriched our industries. However, we had forgotten the history between the two nations in the process - which I presume is why many Athara Magarati citizens felt they were betrayed by a close ally.

But the so-called Magarati Plan of the Doman government aimed to perform nuclear bombing on our industries, cities and military centers. Should we not be worried?

I am baffled at how people only react to the big news without reading it fully. I contacted my Domananian counterpart and this incident has been talked over. Even Paragraph 2nd, Page 15 of the leaked documents mention that the Magarati Plan has been removed as the primary means to counter our imperial ambitions in the future. They will place sanctions on us rather than Kaski island turning into a nuclear wasteland. Besides, there are more worrying situations around the Isles than this fictional threat our citizens are unnecessarily worried about.

More worrying situations?

The political instability within the Ilsan monarchy and the volatile situation in Lortika are of great concerns for us. We cannot stand and watch as a neighboring country burns. However, we will also maintain our distance and only raise the issue of the Lortik minority facing cultural erasure at the hands of the Ilsan nobles for now. We have thousands of Lortik refugees arriving on our shores to escape persecution; telling us the horrors of unwarranted murders and rapes.

That aside, the war in Charbagnia is still ongoing. Many valiant Noronicans and Vancouvians - and let us not forget the soldiers from Ostehaar, Corindia and our nation Athara Magarat - (who) have lost their lives while establishing peace in the Charbagnian Federation. And then there is the civil war in Orsandia creating problems for other Gael nations. And then we have news of Illa Isle's citizens declaring their independence from Vancouvia. In Orsandia and the Illa Isle case, we sadly have no other option than to keep our silence for now until we learn more of what has occurred. Or more specifically, we do not want to barge in without receiving affirmative nods from other powers concerned.

Tell me, how are these issues not more troubling than the out-dated Magarati Plan? Perhaps, even more worrying now is the rapid militarization taking place in Oturia and rumors of the formation of an empire. And from our own historical experiences, we can say that imperialist militarization can bring forth senseless damage and destruction. Even more than what is happening in the Ilsan monarchy, Charbagnia, Orsandia and Illa Isle right now. Examining the events taking place in the Isles, one cannot help but wish for the revival of a scenario similar to Pax Kirati and Pax Magarati.

What do you mean by that, Jrm Hangma?

Perhaps another time.

SCGAD breaks away from current Government coalition
Image

KABAR SAHARI - 09/07/2018, 11:43

Image
Indra Martadinata, Chairman of SCGAD, speaking about the party’s relationship with PSS, current ruling party of Samudera

BHINNEKA, Kabar Sahari - One could describe the political situation of this nation in many ways. But ‘calm’ wouldn’t be one of them. Next month will mark the first year of the second administration of President Justuva’s tenure as a President, yet it has been marred by many scandals and turmoils.

Frantic situations have persisted ever since the Buzzgate scandal and the government’s confirmed involvement, which has led to the imprisonment of ex-Finance Minister Galuh Dewantara and of course, the allegation of the President’s personal involvement in these scandals. Though it hasn’t been proven yet, it did have a tangible effect on his and his party reputation and of course to the quickly changing political landscape of Samudera.

Polls conducted by Kabar Sahari early this month showed that the support for President Susanto has decreased considerably. Last year polls showed that 54% are in support of the administration of President Susanto, while current polls showed that 32% are in support. At the same time, the support for socialism as the nation’s ideology has also halved, from 43% last year to a mere 21% this year.

Many political parties and politicians are adapting to this new situation, with the foremost of them being SCGAD (Samudera Centrists for Growth and Development). Currently the biggest party in Samudera, it has almost a third of the Grand People’s Assembly seats. SCGAD was one of the decisive factors in the victory of President Justuva, and their coalition with PSS was also the reason why the pro-government’s bills were passing smoothly. But not for long.

Early this morning, the Chairman of SCGAD Indra Martadinata announced that they were going to withdraw from the government coalition, because ‘the President’s views aren’t aligned anymore with SCGAD’s. This is a major blow to the current President’s administration as they have officially their majority in the Grand People’s Assembly and it also indicates the growing unpopularity of the President’s policies and how he handled the scandals that seemed to rain upon him.

Furthermore, Martadinata said that the most of the time PSS didn’t consult with SCGAD over their policies which thus strained relations. Last election, SCGAD agreed to join the coalition on the condition that PSS were willing to moderate their ‘socialist policies’ in accordance with SCGAD’s centre-right ideology. PSS, however, failed to deliver their promise which prompted SCGAD’s approval of the coalition.

SCGAD will now be forming a third minority coalition that neither supports the leftist PSS led government coalition or the opposition coalition which is dominated by the far-right Christian party PKB.

PSS have refused to comment about this particular matter.

Many more political parties will consider their position amid this big change and it is expected that PSS will become more isolated over time times whilst SCGAD will strengthen their position slowly but surely. Will we see a new Samudera soon? No one knows for sure.

DOMESTIC: Raid on doomsday cult reveals more answers
Mandara, Ainslie

An multi agency operation involving ARSF, AFP, ABISS and local Electoral Police forces resulted in eight different properties overnight being raided in Badara, Arborai, Mandara and Anertah. This comes as a result of the recent clashes between the Loyal Brotherhood of the Times that are Nigh (LBTN) and the Ahnslen Regional Stability Force in the wilderness of Xrevaro. It is likely law reform will come about due to this, but it is primarily the matter of the police raids which have driven the situation at the moment.

In Anertah, 60 kilograms of Buzz were found, which the supply of was previously believed to be cut off. This has opened a whole new can of worms, so to speak, as Electoral Governments scramble to reinstate and reactivate commissions and taskforces who have appeared to not yet achieve their objective. It is not entirely known why LBTN has Buzz, but an academic from the University of Wesland has pointed towards the idea that they use it for financing their ‘expeditions’.

In Mandara, with ABISS support, the ARSF intercepted a vessel off the city’s shores which was found to have semi-automatic weapons on it - which are banned in all forms within the Unified Electorates. These guns will soon be destroyed in accordance with standard protocol, and the crew are currently detained.

As that was happening, a raid on a property on the outskirts of Badara was underway. This resulted in the uncovering of a distribution facility for drugs, which now due to the Anertah discovery, are suspected to facilitate large shipments of Buzz. The owners of the property are currently undergoing questioning in Anertah.

A raid on three houses in suburban Arborai uncovered nothing of particular interest to police although fines have been handed out for minor offences.

Investigation and subsequent prosecution will uncover more of the facts, but that is currently all the multi-agency group has released currently regarding the incident.

DOMESTIC: Federal Governments speaks about Arenden
Arnton, Ainslie

The government today addressed calls to stop the “Aranden” coal mine from being constructed. Activists have been protesting recently claiming that it may poison the underground water basin and also pollute the nearby marine conservation zone, with the latter being a potential foundation for a legal case against Magnus Hill Mining, the local company which is at the head of the multinational consortium funding the project.

The Judicial Council refused requests from the general public to take up the case, citing that “it is a legislative matter, not one we are prepared to take through the judiciary”.

Supporters of the new coal mine are saying that it will bring increased employment and economic growth to the area, stating that the mine can use abundant resources and still have longevity into the future.

Today the Federal Government revealed its stance on the matter, with PM Kenzai holding a press conference addressing the matter.

“This is obviously a matter for the Electoral Council, as they are in charge of matters pertaining to the land but the Federal Government does have grounds to respond to this matter. It is the Federal Government which addresses matters that impact environmental sustainability.

Now that we’ve established that, it is time to declare the official government stance on it.

We will not block it. We will not support it, but at this point we will refuse to block it. We must let the courts deal with this matter, but we will be seeking legal advice and will further investigate the case of the Aranden mine and if there are grounds for our government to block the proposal, we will.

It is not the place of the government to further interfere in the free market, but if there is concrete evidence that can be independently verified we must take this into consideration and move forward based on the facts.

It is the reality that we currently do not have all the facts we want. We are suspicious, perhaps worried by the developments of the Aranden mine and we hear the voices of the protesters on the streets but there needs to be due process. There might be merit in this mine being constructed and we need to explore the sides of for and against before we make our decision. Of course, we need to also examine the construction of this new mine against our international obligations such as what the Kirsdoff Protocol mandates we do. The Aranden proposal is at an early state and we will be working with the Electoral Government of Dallama to get all the facts. We ask for your patience whilst we get more facts and can offer a more pragmatic decision. Thank you.”

He then quickly proceeded out of the press room as reporters further pressured him to reveal details regarding the mine. The speech was unclear in nature, but has been interpreted by political commentators as a way to stall and ease further protests so the government can get more facts.

Increasing Demands For a Constitution

Though mostly put off, demands for the revealing of the Ilsan Constitution, which celebrated its three-month anniversary five days ago, have become more widespread, especially after a copy of Le Île, bearing marks of censorship and intentional suppression of information critical to the national government. Protesters and miscreants have reacted in a variety of ways, ranging from flooding post offices with inquiries to simply taking the rights they want. Officers of the kings have also been divers, some, especially those closer to the capital, resorted to portable gallows, ostensibly for intimidation, whilst other officers, who have been unable to receive due payment from the monarchy, which is apparently even further in debt than its predecessors, for their services. As such, corruption is on the rise and mob rule increasingly effective. Protests*, the most obvious symptom of the anarchy reigning, have coalesced throughout the Ilse, save in Nord Île, which has remained quite quiet.

*Nota bene: Though Le Île has pioneered the use of the word 'protest' to refer to larges gatherings of people expressing displeasure at a certain agreed upon subject, the word most often refers to a petition requesting the reinstatement of (generally) lands unlawfully seized. As such, it is highly common throughout legal documents, though formerly uncommon in lower class discourse.

Premier Svat Addresses Nation

TRÚAN, July 10 (PNN) -- Belle Ilse is a Threat to Regional Stability

Belle Ilse en Terre may be less than months away from descending into complete anarchy and lawlessness, Premier Svat announced in a short press release yesterday. KPIS Officer Rohbert Oker, addressing the emergency meeting of all NAPO ministers this morning, also warned that preemptive reports suggest smugglers and other lawless individuals may try to traffic supplies through Kho Panha's northernmost D'aranesi Island, which is less than 300 miles from southern Belle Ilse. In response, Premier Svat instated some emergency measures through an Executive Order. Some of these measures include an order to all Ilsan citizens (with the exception of the diplomatic embassy) to leave Panha within 10 business days or be arrested and the severing of all immigration to Panha from Belle Ilse and vice versa. However, in a diplomatic notice, Svat offered full support of the Panharat nation to King George II, and welcomed Panharat volunteers to assist in order for Belle Ilse to apply for a special passport to the troubled nation.

The powderkeg kingdom poses an “urgent and unpredictable threat to the security situation of Kho Panha” and its rebellious elements must be “completely, verifiably and irreversibly eliminated” in order to maintain geopolitical stability in the South Mesder Sea, Svat said in her short address following the NAPO meeting. "Let all be warned, the disgusting disregard for legality and order as is being witnessed in our weak northern neighbor will never be tolerated, for the good of all of Panha. We are too strong to allow mentally unstable agitators or foreign influences to affect the stability of our government. In order to try to help the manipulated and exploited peoples of Belle Ilse, any Ilsan agitators, revolutionary smugglers, or sympathizers within Kho Panha will be executed by our brave Royal Panharat Armed Forces. If any Panharat citizens are infected with the same virus, or bribed by foreign influences to support this folly, they too will be enthusiastically dispatched for the good of our nation. In order to patrol the island more effectively, an island-wide curfew on D'aranesi will be instated from 11 PM - 4 AM until revoked, and the Northern Bay Region should be on alert for traitors as well. We pray for strength for King George II, and hope he returns peace to his people."

Executive Order: In Regards to Belle Ilse en Terre's Recent Instability

In order to best safeguard the interests of the Panharat state, as of July 10, 2018, NAPO resolves to:

Section One - Immigration

A. All citizens of Belle Ilse en Terre must leave Kho Panha by the date of Tuesday, July 24.
B. The diplomatic embassy to Panha and Ilsan goverment officials must register for exemption by Friday, July 20, otherwise the same standards of 1A will apply.
C. All Ilsan citizens still in Panha by 6 AM on July 24 will be prosecuted as a foreign spy.
D. This Order halts all processing of Ilsan visas to Panha. Additionally, Panharat citizens will not be granted permission to travel to Belle Ilse.
E. Unaccompanied Ilsan minors (under the age of 16) will be deported to Brighton, Belle Ilse en Terre, unless evidence of revolutionary activities is discovered involving them; in that case, 1C applies.
F. All Ilsans unable to travel for medical reasons must register to the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by July 20. If they are unable to travel to Trúan or Arseau, citizens are responsible for calling the immigration hotline, and an agent will arrive to assess their case.
G. Ilsans unable to travel will be moved to a Royal Panharat Armed Forces hospital in Ancequetin until their condition is sound enough for travel, upon which they will be deported to Brighton, Belle Ilse en Terre.
H. All hospitals are required to report Ilsan patients incapable of registering themselves. Failure to do so by July 20 will lead to prosecution of staff as obstructors of justice.
I. If volunteers wish to travel to Belle Ilse en Terre and assist King George II, they may apply for a Visa Exemption at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Section Two - National Security
A. Curfew will be in place on D'aranesi Island between 11 PM and 4 AM. Citizens outside of their homes at that time will be arrested and prosecuted as foreign agents.
B. In case of emergencies, the Royal Panharat Armed Forces D'aranesi hotline is to be called.
C. Ilsan revolutionary instigators upon capture in Kho Panha will be prosecuted by a military tribunal and executed if found guilty.
D. Panharat revolutionary sympathizers upon capture will be executed.
E. The act of providing goods to Ilsan revolutionary factions will be treated as high treason.
F. A national hotline for discovery of revolutionaries will hereby be created by the Ministry of Justice. Failure to report a suspected revolutionary will be treated as sympathizing with the enemy.

Signed,
Her Excellency, Premier Yimar Svat

U is for Uranium

Today a uranium mine was opened up in the northern mountains, it is unknown where the uranium is being sent, but military trucks have been seen coming down from the mountains and trough the near by town.
No registered bases are in the area but it is likely that Oturia is planning to build is own nuclear weapons or perhaps sell the uranium to other nations.
Nothing has been said by the president at this time.

BREAKING : Joint Statement by Orsandia,Ostehaar, and Dormill and Stiura implicates Samudera and Thuzbekistan of involvement in Orsandian Civil War

EXECUTIVE PALACE, GUANGFENG (GT) - [WILLIAMSON] - My fellow Orsandians, we stand today at a crossroads that lead to two paths. One shall take us on a continued road to prosperity, freedom, and democracy. Another leads down towards a failed utopic view of our past, one that has caused blood to be spilled to this day. Due to this evil ideology, a spectre of bloody communism, we have lost many innocent lives, to try and destroy the Orsandian way of life. We have chosen to spurn this spectre before in favor of freedom and growth, and today, that resolve stands true. We will not turn back on this progress. While I admit, that the government has not been perfect, violence is no way to try to bring about change in a civilized society. Acts of brutalism, and sheer carnage by these communistic terrorists shall be met with the combined resolve of the Orsandian people, and her allies in Gael who have always had our backs in testing times like these.

However, it is this press conference today, joined by the Dormill-Sturian president Cedar Dyson and Ostehaar's Prime Minister, Rikard Vulf Dorias, that we would like to shed light on the true nature of the People's Liberation Force. The PLF, have gained much ground. They have put up a fierce fight to try and rip this country apart. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the PLF were able to capture the port city of Lihai, but not without heavy casualties inflicted by our military. Presumed to be a rag tag bunch with minimal equipment, logistics, and planning, none of us up here foresaw this struggle becoming this large. Hence, this has raised suspicion regarding the PLF's formidability. That is why we are here today. To make the entire Isles aware of the true nature of the People's Liberation Force. Through around the clock cooperation between our intelligence agencies, and special forces, we can stand here today to make the announcement with confidence, that there were state actors aiding the PLF in their effort to destabilize Orsandia.

To begin, in mid June, the Orsandian SAS undertook an operation that penetrated a PLF safehouse in a mountainous region of Urching, and captured a spy. This spy, was found to be working for the Samuderan SAFI, and from cooperating with OSA authorities, told us that the SAFI were working in Orsandia to provide the PLF armaments and logistics to the rebels, a set of orders from Samuderan President Susanto himself. This comes as a shocking betrayal, as it was presumed that the Samuderans were helping our evacuation, only to be aiding and supporting the PLF behind the scenes. President Susanto has done the greatest disservice to Orsan-Samuderan relations, and has ensnared his people into a world of corruption and suffering. This truly hits at our heartstrings, as the Samuderans could be said to share kinship with us. Not anymore. From this day on, I have issued an executive order with blessings from Emperor Yang I, to sever all diplomatic ties with Samudera, end our visa free travel program, and halt all trade until further notice. Furthermore, I will issue this bold statement to the enemies of Orsandia : We don't want war with you, yet you come to our homeland and cause discord and sorrow to permeate through the lands. We will work with our allies to bring the collective might of the Gaeltic Sphere and other nations to levy the largest set of sanctions and penalties against the Samuderans to date. Their treachery shall not go unanswered. Should we find any Samuderan, Thuzbek , communist troops or any other SAFI in Orsandia, they will be subject to wartime conditions and will be dispatched with lethal force and self defense.

I will now turn over speaking to President Dyson and Prime Minister Dorias to speak on their further findings regarding Samudera, and Thuzbekistan as well. Please save questions for after all the statements are delivered.

[DYSON] - The fair and peaceful people of Orsandia did not deserve this fate that is being handed to them. While I shared my initial sympathies with the populace following the revelations of Buzzgate, and I do still believe that any amount of corruption in any government must be fought, this perversion of the people's will by foreign belligerent powers is beyond unacceptable. The United Republics has always stood for justice and the fair treatment of all people, regardless of their beliefs or origins, and this will be the greatest test of our resolve. When I was a child, I remember the stories my father told me of his time in the Foreign Volunteer Army of Free Orsandia, the predecessor to the modern Foreign Legion. I remember him telling me about the fighting he did to liberate the homes of people he had never met before from the red specter of Communism simply because he believed it was the right thing to do, and I now believe the same thing as I dedicate thousands of men and women in the Dormill-Stiuraian Armed Forces to do as my father did a lifetime ago. Unfortunately, the depths of depravity and treachery the governments of Thuzbekistan and Samudera have gone to support this People's Liberation Front has cost us the valuable and precious coastal city of Lihai. The City of Lihai, a productive city of two and a quarter million, is on the verge of falling into enemy hands. The brave soldiers of the United Republics, Orsandia, Ostehaar, Ainslie, and Auria have all done exceptional work in evacuating the civilian population from the city over these last two months. Unfortunately for us, and especially our Orsandian allies, the People's Liberation Front, these terrorists, do not work alone. It has come to our attention through the resources shared between our allies in the Gael Four and with the OSA that the government of Thuzbekistan and the President of Samudera are directly involved in the arming and assistance of these radical terrorists in a vain attempt to assert their ideology on a nation that has long since thrown off the shackles of oppression. These two nations shall be held accountable for every life lost, both military and civilian, every cent of damage to Orsandia, and the disruption of international trade throughout this crisis. They will have nowhere in the Isles to hide as the United Republics and her allies utilize every legal means available to us to punish the short-sighted leadership of these two nations until they renounce their actions entirely and cease association with the People's Liberation Front.

[DORIAS] - Thank you, Prime Minister Williamson. I would first like to express my respect and appreciation, on behalf of Ostehaar, to you and to the Orsandian people, for leading this struggle against this corrupt and brutal threat.

The PLF are not freedom fighters in the name of a noble ideology. They are not expressing the will of the people, nor they are fighting for oppressed minorities. They are a proxy guerrilla force armed, funded, trained, operated, and backed by the People's Republic of Thuzbekistan, with the close cooperation of Samudera. They are, for all intents and purposes, a Thuzbek military unit composed of Orsandian nationals, aiming to disrupt the Gael way of life inject their violent agenda into otherwise peaceful nations.

This is supported by countless pieces of intelligence we have collected from various independent sources. In March, Oster intelligence managed to track and closely monitor a shipment of Thuzbek weapons from a Samuderan port to its destination in Urching. Another shipment was then intercepted and destroyed in a joint operation by Orsandian and Dormill-Stiuraian special forces - and again Thuzbek-made equipment was found in it. Last month, as another example, Oster intelligence has identified Thzbek special forces operating in Urching with the PLF. The list of evidence goes on, but I think the bottom line is clear.

We must not tolerate such acts. In protest of this deceitful intervention in Gael, The Western Isles must present a united front and send out a clear message - Boycott Thuzbekistan and Samudera, economically and diplomatically.

Thank you.

Reporters clamored to ask questions as the three leaders hurriedly left the podium, leaving their press teams to answer questions, as they whisked themselves back into one of the war rooms inside the Executive Palace.

It is unknown at this time how other nations will react to these revelations.

News Flash: Joint Statement by Orsandia,Ostehaar, and Dormill and Stiura, Aruias policy has been justiced claims minister of FA

Leaders of Orsandia, Ostehaar and D&S have joined together in Guangfeng to release a joint statement that prooves the involvement of Thuzbekistan and Samudera in the Civil War backing up the PLF. "This has confirmed the government's policy regarding Thuzbekistan all along and while our policy was based on the recurring statement and outspoken interest of Thuzbekistans leadership in the PLFs activity, this legitimizes economic sanctions on Thuzbekistan." Stated Minister of Foreign Affair Moskovich while president Del'falco was in a meeting to assert actions against Samudera who possibly breached the maritime sovereignty to assist the PLF. "Samudera is a tragic case that needs be held accounted for siding with a foul entity in the international community. We won't hold back on our sanctions and won't stop our friends in regards to their militant choices. We call on our friends to adopt our economic sanction policy that will land against all Samuderan activity that goes through Aruia."
No statement was released by the presidential office or the opposition at this hours.

PREPARATIONS UNDERWAY FOR AINSLIE VISIT

The Palace of the Royals, where much of the summit will take place

July 11, 2018
Dociara City, Roendavar

Dociara City has been closed down as preparations for the arrival of Ahnslen Prime Minister Andrew Kenzai on July 12, 2018 as part of the ongoing improvement of relations between the two countries. The entire summit has been declared a special holiday and the city has been abuzz with people decorating the streets and boulevards to welcome the delegation as it arrives in the Palace of the Royals.

Roendavarians welcome the Ahnslens wholeheartedly as centuries of historical ties connect the two which shall be prominent in the following days. The presidents of all four states have stated they shall “gladly” welcome the delegation, amidst rumors of growing tensions in the Grand Court. However, the monarchs shall take center stage during the visit as they will be the ones who shall negotiate the terms that shall be set upon during the meetings.

Political experts have voiced their opinions, most of them positive. Ainslie is one of the closest nations to Roendavar and any agreements between the two will surely benefit both countries. Ainslie is also a huge boost to Roendavarian Tourism as they account for one of the largest visitors in the country in 2017. The country will also benefit from Ainslie’s huge financial market as the country is seeking to open up to foreign investment, something that they haven’t done for about 25 years. Security in the region will also be a topic during the visit as it is an issue the country has trouble facing due to its tight privacy laws and restrictive conscription policies.

The Ahnslen delegation shall be staying at the Palace of the Summers. The palace used to be the residence of the Dociara rulers, the Arandia Family, but as of July 5, 2018, it has been designated as the new location for the Ahnslen embassy. It is named as one of the most beautiful palaces in Roendavar and such a gift by the rulers is a sure sign that Roendavar is not holding back in fortifying relations with Ainslie.

The Vladimir-Dociara airport will also be shut down for the security of the visitors, with all commercial flights being redirected to the Constantiara International Airport. Security will also be tight at the Artapantul Tunnel, as it serves as the shortest way from the airport to the city. All motorists coming from Sudever state are advised to take the longer Meciera Highway.

Heavy security will also be implemented at the Marăi Harbor and the Royal Navy will close down much of Soari Gulf. Vastaros State will be subject to a curfew. All Grand Court representatives are required to attend the summit.

The summit will last until July 14. Until then, all citizens are advised to go outside and join in the festivities. The largest of the celebrations will be located at Trafaia Square. All Roendavarians and Ahnslens are welcome to the food and festivities, with free access to museums and the 9 PM showing of the opera play, “The Plight of the Kings” at the Grand Opera.

VASTAROSI PROTESTS AGAINST NUCLEAR ENERGY TURNS VIOLENT

July 11, 2018
Mănzhestă City, Feliroi Municipality, Vastaros State, Roendavar

23 dead and 68 injured after a protest turned violent in the city of Mănzhestă in Northern Vastaros on the night of July 10, 2018 as part of the ongoing conflict in the construction of the Vastaros Nuclear Power Plant. The protesters broke through the gates of the construction site and began tearing down the support beams that were placed earlier that morning. The Vastarosi Army first tried to resolve the conflict peacefully, however, tensions built up and the Army fired on the protesters.

The construction of the nuclear power plant is highly controversial in Mănzhestă as it poses immense risk to the people living in the surrounding area. Mănzhestă is the densest city in Roendavar and has the highest percentage of low-income households. It also holds numerous large-scale factories that bellow black smoke, which severely impacts the health of the citizens in the city. If the planned nuclear plant would suffer an explosion, an estimated 580,000 people would be affected, not counting the immediate radioactive fallout.

The ruling Duke of Mănzhestă, Duke Alexei Miraie Dumitrache released a statement earlier this morning commending the Army for their bravery in handling the situation. This did not sit down well with the Grand Court, especially the Andavarian representatives who protested the use of violence against unarmed civilians. They are calling for the Dumitrache family to appear in front of the Royal Court on July 15, 2018.

Violence is not new in Vastaros. It has been accused of several human rights abuses and violent responses to minimal offenses. Vastarosian President Victor Azănera Vațilezi has denied this accusations, stating that these were an "attack to the Vastarosi people". King Vladimir IV is yet to respond on the growing unrest in Vastaros state.

TRILATERAL STATEMENT ON ORSANDIAN WAR: FURTHER STEPS EXPECTED

Following the joint statement by the allied parties of the Orsandian war, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense have released further, separate reports, adding more details regarding the Thuzbek and Samuderan intervention in the war, and the expected steps the government plans to take.

The Ministry of Defense release, twelve pages long, presents much of the intelligence collected on the Thuzbek and Samuderan involvement. A more detailed report was distributed to G4 governments and to allies of Ostehaar across the region, such as Vancouvia, Miklania, Polar Svalbard, and Covonant. Sources of the information include HUMINT, SIGINT, and VISINT data gathered by the three intelligence agencies of Ostehaar, Orsandia, and Dormill and Stiura since February 2018.

"That's a no-brainer," an official in the Ministry told FNN yesterday as the reports were released. "The evidence against these two nations [Thuzbekistan and Samudera] are substantial and unequivocal. The real question right now is not whether it's true, but what should be done about it. I think it's clear that condemnation, diplomatic isolation, and sanctions are the right course of action."

The statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs focused less on the information itself and more on the implications and on the need for decisive action by The Western Isles. The report presents basic information on the Thuzbek economy, for example, and analyses the potential effect of sanctions. "The Thuzbek authoritarian regime has equipped the PLF with millions of dollars worth of weapons and ammunition," the report highlights state. It later concludes that "the only sure way to disable the Thuzbek war-machine is by denying it the necessary funds." The release does not state whether or not Ostehaar would move to revoke Samudera's G4 membership, but according to FNN's political commentator Lihr Frihsj, it is obvious that this would be the case. "The government would not accept Samuderan presence in the G4 after this," Frihsj claimed.

Minster of Foreign Affairs Elena Brahurer issued her own statement, referring to the press release and calling on regional organizations and alliances such as the League, MSTO, and C6 to present a united front. "Thuzbekistan must understand that when you initiate war, there are consequences. If the regional community fails to deliver, it would only encourage Prime Minister Cihangir to continue pushing his atrocious agenda in Gael and across the region as well."

PRIME MINISTER: OSTEHAAR SUPPORTS VANCOUVIA, WILL NOT RECOGNIZE ILLA ISLE

In response to the proclamation of idenpendence by the Illa Isle leadership, Prime Minister Dorias spoke about the issue yesterday during a press conference. "We have been following the Illa Isle problem closely," Dorias said, "and so far we've decided against issuing a formal response in fear that it might destabilize the situation even further. This independence announcement, however, marks a turning point and we must not let it stand. We do not recognize this proclamation, and I have instructed to limit air and sea travel to and from the island for the time being."

In Lovsk, local underground newsletters celebrated the Illa Isle proclamation and referred to it as another step on the way to liberation of all occupied territories of the north, including Arvan, Wake Islands, and Lovsk itself. A statement in one of the bulletins read: "Rise, oppressed brothers! Resist the occupying forces, and if you cannot - ignore their presence altogether. Illa Isle shows us the way, and soon we will all be liberated."

TENSE OSTER-ALTERAN MATCH ENDS IN A 2-2 TIE; TEAM READY TO PLAY D&S

Na Barnir (The Rocks, Ostehaar's national football team) hosted Alteran Republics yesterday at the Campus Olympic Arena in Porohare. The long-anticipated match ended in a tie after both teams managed to score twice.

Ten minutes after the start of the game Oster defender Dihn Serger tackled Adamus Falconius, rewarding him with a penalty kick that sent the ball into Alex Brohnt's net. The Alteran advantage lasted most of the first half until Mark Gaalgriner scored an equalizer from the edge of the penalty area on the 42nd minute. The second half saw many goal attempts on both sides, and both teams seemed to play at their best. Oster Ari Vehes scored a header off a corner kick on the 72nd minute, but the Alterans were quick to equalize with a magnificent Petrus Marcipor goal six minutes later.

"It was quite a difficult one," Oster team captain Daar Brikner said after the match. "The Alterans definitely gave us some hard time and played well. I personally enjoyed myself, and I think we presented the audience here and at home some good performance." The team will meet Dormill and Stiura in Ile-de-Avillon on the 13th.

Today was a day of retribution and justice in Irlaskia when former secretary of Enviromental inspection Arvamirez Yuzefy and owner of Irlaski Plastics Artyom belemund were charged with1 several murders, high level corruption, and bribery. For those that do not know, Belemund bribed the Inspector to overlook the increasingly toxic land and river surrounding his many factories here in Karataý, the cause was the dumping of highly dangerous waste materials into the rivef and natural sights. It was only after the waste went into the water supply of a local village causing the deaths of 23 and severe medical conditions in 14 others. It was only because of hero's like Detective Jakub pilmunski that the plot was uncovered and the two men brought to trial, where Belemund confessed to all charges and gave up documents showing Arvamirez's involvement. Belemund was sentenced three days ago to 5 years sentence in Yorvast while Arvamirez's trial was held today. We now give you tge exact sentencing words of Arvamirez by judge Fiona Sediva

"On charges of secondary murder, the people have found you guilty, on charges of Mass corruption, the people find you guilty, on charges of accepting bribery, the people have found you guilty. I just have to say Mr.Yuzefy, you are a despicable man, and your actions prove it, but your trial and actions did show one thing, that our system, our government, works, it has put dozens of corrupt officials like you either in the ground or away, you arent the first and you wont be the last. I now deliver my verdict. Arvamirez Yuzefy, i sentence to 20 years in Quoruk labor camp"

(Crowd chatter)

'UHITAP RUSHED IN HOSPITAL FOLLOWING STROKE

SHUHAKALLU - The nation holds its breath as 'uhitap Âspu Kashaka fights for life in Kallu Mâk Hospital. 'uhitap Âspu, aged 68, collapsed this morning at his villa outside Shuhakallu while entertaining members of his family and was airlifted to Kallu Mâk immediately. Doctors there have confirmed that the 'uhitap suffered a stroke and is in stable condition.

"The 'uhitap remains unconscious but stable," said a Sâtêp release put out an hour ago. "More information will be released as it becomes available."

'uhitap Âspu Kashaka was elected to the position by majority Sâtêp vote in 1984. He is one of the longest serving vê'uhitap in the history of Mênna Shuli, having seen the country through the Lost Decade of the 1990's and through current economic recovery from that depression. 'uhitap Âspu is fondly referred to by many in Mênna Shuli as "Grandfather Âspu".

"The 'uhitap is a father and brother to all of us," said Hitap Usu Usu of the Sâtêp. "Let us all pray to the forefathers to provide him the strength to carry on through this trial."

Little information is forthcoming at this time. MÊK will continue to update the public as we learn more.

Weinam is being warned

Due to the current remiliterization, the communist country of Weinam has been treating the issue with unnecessary concern, the AIC and the Oturian government warns Weinam that Weinamese citizens will be watched with great suspicion.

The AIC reminds Weinam that if a spy is discovered behind Oturian borders they are legally allowed to detain them, Weinamese citizens looking to visit can still come over with a passport.

'UHITAP IN COMA

SHUHAKALLU - The government of Mênna Shuli has released an update on the health of 'uhitap Âspu Kashaka, announcing that the 'uhitap has stabilized but remains unconscious and unresponsive. Doctors at Kallu Mâk Hospital have revealed that they believe surgery is the only option at this point.

"The stroke is quite possibly a symptom of a more serious condition," said one doctor, who chose to remain unidentified. "Preliminary tests suggest larger health problems at play, and exploratory surgery is the 'uhitap's best option for diagnosis and treatment at this point."

The Sâtêp has refused to make further speculation on the matter. Government business has stalled in chambers without the 'uhitap's presence to moderate and call legislation to vote.

"Right now, the most important business in government is determining proper protocols to deal with the situation of an 'uhitap in absentia," said Kivêlâ Hitap Mashat Hu'. "This isn't the first time that such an issue has arisen in our history, but it is the first time in a modern era where rapid communication and response is assumed. We have to determine new protocols to deal with the problem. Perhaps it is best that we face these concerns now, and not a decade from now."

'uhitap Âspu's family are hopeful for his prognosis.

"He's a strong man, and he will make it through, forebears willing," said his son, Hitap Âspu Kashaka II. "This is not the end of his era."

WEINAM STANDS BY SAMUDERA AND THUZBEKISTAN

Weinam is standing by Samudera and Thuzbekistan despite growing claims of their involvement within the Gael Conflict. Several nations have come out and stated that both Thuzbekistan and Samudera have orchestrated and played key roles in the Orsandian conflict which has been waging for several months within the Gael continent.

Weinamese President, Lin Zhang said this morning that Weinam is 'standing shoulder to shoulder with both nations and they have Weinam's full support and resources should they require it to overcome these unbelievable claims'. Weinam has distanced itself from the conflict, which has seen communist lead rebel forces (PLF) attempt to overthrown the government in Orsandia. Weinamese flags have been seen flying among the PLF rebels in and around the Orsandian capital, but Weinam itself has confirmed it is, nor has even been involved in the Gael conflict in any capacity.

President Zhang insisted that Weinam's friendship with both Samudera and Thuzbekistan remains absolute and that was unlikely to change in the future, with joint military exercises being planned by Thuzbekistan very soon.

In the President's speech, Zhang said:
"The nations of Samudera and Thuzbekistan have nothing to fear in regards to how Weinam see's or treats them. We have and will continue to have, a strong and open friendship with both nations including trade, diplomacy, defense and open borders. We regret the actions of nations who seek to needlessly slander and damage the infrastructure of our allies and will support them now and in the future. The conflict in Orsandia should by now have been quelled with the combined powers of those involved. Weinam finds this situation both childish and internationally damning that must cease before unrecoverable damage is caused".

10:52am - 12th July 2018
WEINAM WARNS OTURIA AGAINST PROVOCATION

Oturia has been officially warned not to provoke Weinam over it's concern of the former's militarization plans. Weinam has announced that any Weinamese citizen threatened or harassed within Oturia will be met with extreme retaliation. Weinam has expressed concern over Oturia's plans for re-militarization and confirmed it was to 'monitor the situation', but a recent statement made by Oturia has escalated the situation where threats were made upon Weinamese citizens if they were suspected of spying or sabotage against Oturia.

Weinams interior Minister, Lin Lam spoke this morning to reporters in the wake of the announcement:
"Weinam takes the safety and security of it's citizens very seriously. We will not allow other nations to threaten the safety of our people regardless of geographic location. Any harassment or threats against our citizens will be met with the harshest retaliatory response. We are currently aware of a nation, close to Weinam's borders, engaging in military rebuilding and seek to assure the safety of our people when travelling to foreign countries".

Jane Weston denounces Weinam

Today the nation of Weinam threatened Oturia and the president spoke what all Oturians were thinking.

"Today we all heard of the Weinam threats, so I say this to you minister Lin, Oturia is a sovereign and independent nation, Oturia has the right to suspicion, you take the safety of your own citizens very seriously, well I'm thinking of the Oturians, I'm thinking of the Wellsians and I'm thinking of the Weinamese.
Understand this, we will stand our ground, we won't bend to your demands, we will defend democracy and our people.
If theirs no spys in Oturia than the safety of your citizens is assured"

The speech that Weston gave sure did send pride and patriotism through the Oturian people as they began marching through the streets chanting "We won't bend".

Ashluv- Today, the Foreign Ministry released a lengthy statement regarding the "revelations" of Ostehaar, Orsandia, and Dormill-Stiura, which were together referred to as "the Allies" in the statement. It slammed the triad as hypocritical and deceptive.

"The People's Republic of Thuzbekistan has not involved itself in the matters of Orsandian affairs. We have shown solidarity for a people oppressed by the system which the MSTO imposed upon them in the first Civil War. In that war, the hypocrites of Gael forced out a legitimate government and created a military dictatorship which finally evolved into the capitalist nation of Orsandia. The threats and calls for boycotts and sanctions are beyond unreasonable. Finally, the threat of reparations is not only unheard of in history for this case, but a threat of war that only a conqueror would impose to force submission. This will not stand in the eyes of Thuzbekistan."

The statement went on to describe the efforts of many nations to destroy the communist Orsandian government as well.

All fleets have been put on high alert and the Reserve Marine Corps has been put on a 24 hour activation standby which is said to last the week. All reserve units are to be no further than 6 hours from their nearest Armory in case of activation.

These statements come after the Allies (Orsandia, Ostehaar, and Dormill and Stiura) made a trilateral statement slamming Thuzbekistan and Samudera and calling the PLF a Thuzbek military unit. The Allies also called for sanctions and political commentators in Ostehaar are calling for Samudera to be thrown out of the G4, a continental alliance created in recent years.

However, there has also been support shown to Thuzbekistan by Weinam, a long time ally and former UCCR member. They declared support for Samudera and Thuzbekistan, saying that they are "standing shoulder to shoulder with both nations" and continuing to promise "Full support and resources should they require it."

The support was received well in Parliament where the Vanguard Chairman said that "our hearts go out in appreciation to our friends and allies in Argus."

Weinam and Thuzbek Leaders Confirm Date of War Games

Today the Weinamese government also confirmed the date for amphibious war games. September 10th-September 20th was given by the Thuzbeks to Weinam.

The war games are to occur along several of the tourist islands along Thuzbekistan's western coasts and will practice several types of amphibious landings. Using lasers and blanks, the battle will be simulated against the Thuzbek Army, which is the first line of defense against invasion. The Thuzbek and Weinamese Marines will attack several islands in combined arms operations where Thuzbek and Weinamese assets will be working closely to achieve their objectives.

While the games themselves are not new, this will be the first time such games include a foreign military and, according to the Ministry of the Navy, will be a "telling experience" that will "prepare both armed forces for cooperation in defensive and offensive actions."

The games were originally started in 2003 and again in 2008 and 2013. These games will be the fourth of this kind. Though often controversial due to cost and negative diplomatic effects, the games have been a pride of the Navy since they began and provided valuable training to all branches of the military.

Parliament Passes Bill Recognizing The Citizen's Republic of Illa Isle

Earlier today, Parliament passed a bill recognizing the Citizen's Republic of Illa Isle. The bill allowed for the creation of diplomatic relations, trade subsidies, and free travel, but only after a "functional government is formed".

It passed 56-44 amid concerns that there was not yet a functional government, the fear of diplomatic repercussions, and the strictly secular attitude of the Illa Islanders. However, many MPs felt that the revelation by allied nations removed the repercussions of doing so.

The bill was originally introduced on July 6th, but was not introduced to a vote until after the Allied "revelation", which fired up Socialist Internationalism in the Vanguard party.

"We hope that our recognition of their valiant efforts to create a new order in their homeland can be aided by our support," one International Socialist Party MP said in a statement on his website. "We must support Socialism everywhere we can and aide every worker in the breaking of their chains."

While the Opposition wholly opposed the measure, it passed easily enough for the Vanguard to make it law officially by mid afternoon.

INTERNATIONAL: Roendavar state visit - Kenzai’s full speech
Dociara, Roendavar

Biăn far, Ariloyae. These are the words which begin communication between individuals, and can be the beginning or continuity of amazing things. That, my friends, is what I am glad to report today. Both Roendavar and Ainslie are peaceful nations whose prosperity has been compounded by rational, facts based governance within the environment of open communication channels. From the similarities between our Electoral Council and your Grand Council as well as the strong Roendavaran Constitution, as well as a long and complex history which begun in the Ipachi era, the people of these two nations have had similar motives. It is the democratic governments who stand today that are actively responding to the enduring desires of the people we represent.

The current governments of Roendavar and Ainslie have found significant common ground with each other and multiple bilateral visits between visitors have led up to this state visit. Much of the work unveiled today is in fact a manifestation of the hard work of many people who do not get the same amount of coverage as us.

First of all, Ainslie and Roendavar have committed to a joint agenda of economic stability and security. Our two nations are beginning to harmonise agricultural policy in order to remove technical barriers in bilateral trade with the intention to increase bilateral trade in this sector. On a more direct scale, Ainslie has committed to lower tariffs on Roendavaran electronics and in return we have established a policy to jointly improve the state of bilateral trade, particularly through collaboration between the two respective healthcare sectors as well as the establishment of a more generalised business summit.

In addition, our two nations are steadfast in our commitment to regional stability and safety. The Roendavarans have promised to join Ainslie in humanitarian and peacekeeping missions whilst the Ahnslen Government has agreed to security cooperation with the Roendavarans in the state of Vastaros.

Roendavar and Ainslie hold a commitment to balance these short-term objectives with a long term vision. Both nations have commited to transport infrastructure programs to better enable the movement of goods and people between the two nations. Particularly, the Burnett Highway between Port Blaxland and Arnton will be improved.

The tourism sectors of our two nations will thrive under a newly implemented visa free period of 60 days. This has been matched with a newly signed a mutual extradition treaty which is a step to stamp out transnational crime.

It is under this context that we can safely say that Roendavar is very much a friend of ours. Of course, the long standing relationship between our two peoples cannot be ignored and it we are thankful that through this state visit we have finally solidified what many have been wanting. A history of positive and forward thinking laws in conjunction with plans for development is truly what joins us as nations, and myself as well as the rest of Ainslie are thankful for the Roendavaran people and the government who represents them.

And with that, I hand over to my friends from Roendavar.

Gran Teran, July 13, 2018
Church Wages Holy War
We bring you urgent news today from Gran Teran as recent reports give us the information that six of the ten Guadaupanas who participated in the prison break of two Catholic priests were arrested late last night. It is unclear whether the following actions were instructed by the Jimenean government. After their arrest, approximately after three hours in custody, all of those arrested were found executed by firing squad. After, the bodies were burned in a mass grave, no priest was present to perform any sort of funeral. After the execution, many local militias of Guadalupanas took to the streets and protested, in one case being fired upon by anti-riot soldiers. Who ordered the execution remains unknown and LPP leaders claim it was in self-defense while others say it was ordered by the Civil Defense Agency. Location of the four other rebels remains unknown as police forces struggle to locate them while many assuming that they are finding refuge on Church property. When the news of the executions reached Del Agua City, Cardinal Pius III issued that all bishops within San Jimenez report to Del Agua City for an emergency council of "immediate reaction" and remain there until the situation is handled. A few hours after, Cardinal Pius III spoke to the nation and his flock that will define his years as Cardinal and the Church in the 21st Century. This is an excerpt from the Cardinal's speech:

My children, God save us all. In the midst of the night, our brothers, who passionately saved our clergy from political persecution and prison, who never shot a bullet in the process, who showed mercy in their acts, who had wives, children, mother, and sister, were slain without true justice and a jury. It is a travesty. It is not human! It is not Christian! This suffering is not moral in any way! Those who took part in it ought to confess and repent for they have pierced the heart of our Lord! Mother of those killed in the dead of night, pray for us, graciously hear us. Through this see and as governor of the whole of the Jimenean Church, I declare the Guadalupanas as honorable Christian soldiers whose deeds are to be exalted for generations. A "Holy War" is to be conducted. War is an evil but so is the death of innocence itself. We must not allow it, those who are with the government seek the destruction of we, the Church. Of you, the Church. Of Christ, our Lord. I pledge to serve you and our Church, a shepherd must tend to his flock and must be willing to lay down his life for his people. This red cassock of mine will be red with blood, it is my purpose. For you and for Christ.

Government Republicans Strike Against Rebels
After the speech, the executive branch was dissolved and Canone ousted from his office. The location of the former president is unknown at the moment. The Jimenean Congress declared a war and ordered the National Army to be deployed in areas with Guadalupana activity. Del Agua City was put under martial law and it has been ordered that no one is allowed to leave the city unless authorized by the LPP Party, including the bishops. In Gran Teran, parishes and cathedrals have been forced to close and clergy have been deported to detainment camps throughout Gran Teran. The White Reformers, a Protestant terror group, has begun its purge of the Church by targeting clergy transports to detainment camps and executing the men. Guadalupana violence broke when national soldiers proceeded to tear down religious statues on Church property while tearing down crosses of cathedrals in the process. It is expected that soon, national law will be put into effect for the closing of major cathedrals because of their risk to national security. Masses have been declared outlawed by those in the House of Confederates and all marriages and funerals are to be only performed by the state. As well, any seminary activity has been deemed illegal and seminarians have been consolidated with National Public Colleges. Due to the monarchical style of the Guadalupana cause, Republicans have arisen to quell the rebellion and save the Jimenean Republic from, what they consider, Church Despotism. Already, small skirmishes have broken out in the Del Agua countryside as Republican soldiers pour into the city to prevent further violence. National authorities have drafted many peacekeepers throughout the nation to assist the Republican volunteer regiments and have declared the Guadalupanas a terrorist organization with maximum threats to national security. Jimenean Foreign Offices state that "any nation with connections to these rebels risk the stability of the country and their own as well as any sort of ties to San Jimenez". The Speaker of the Congress stated, "These rebels undermine what this Republic stands for, they must be subjugated so that peace may resume and understanding may take effect. If any organization or nation associates themselves with these rebels, they are to be regarded as enemies, worse than the rebels they support". At the moment, Catholic political activists are targeted for security risk and are prevented from holding any public office, not including Protestant Christians. Republican regiments have been ordered to be stationed in cities that head Catholic diocese to quell any rebellion that might arise and any Guadaupana activity. As Republican regiments rise, Guadalupana sympathizers seek refuge in the Jimenean countryside organizing militia for the Church's declared "Holy War".

We will update you as the situation continues, thank you for choosing the Gran Teran Gazette, have a great night.

BREAKING NEWS
Foreign Minister spoke about the allegation as the nation prepare for the fallout

KABAR SAHARI - 13/07/2018, 17:44

Foreign Minister Cahyadi Kunakara spoke about the ‘allegation’ that Samudera is complicit in inciting the Orsandian War (13/07)

BHINNEKA, Kabar Sahari - This early morning the Revolutionary Palace finally break the silence and spoke about the allegation which were issued in a joint statement by Orsandia, Ostehaar, and Dormill-Stiura, all of which were Samudera’s allies until several days ago.

In the joint statement of the three nations, Samudera was held accountable for the emergence of PLF as a coherent fighting force, fighting the legitimate Orsandian government in the name of communist Orsandia and communism as a whole. It was also revealed that the Samuderan government covertly supported the PLF by providing them with armaments and logistics which is critical in maintaining their war forces. This was done through the Samuderan Agency for Foreign Intelligence, also known as SAFI, that was already infamous for human rights violation and conspiracy theories throughout its existence.

All of this was done without the knowledge of the general populace. Currently, it is unknown who are complicit in this intervention act in Orsandia beside SAFI and the President himself. It is argued that some prominent members of the government and the military knew about its existence yet they kept total silence about it, but it is doubted that it would be confirmed, if at all.

The three nations also threatened to terminate the membership of Samudera to the Mandara Accord, along with sanctions and penalties in retaliation of Samudera’s ‘treacherous’ act in Orsandian soil.

Foreign Minister Cahyadi Kunakara denied all the notions that Samudera is somehow involved in Orsandia or even PLF, saying that ‘Samudera respects every nation’s sovereignty over their territory’, referring to Samudera’s own problems with insurgencies in the past. Kunakara reasoned that Samudera has no interest to ‘destabilise’ Orsandia and further said that ‘radical ideology’ has no place in any nations in the Isles, though he didn’t specifically refer to PLF.

This announcement came in the time of uncertain atmosphere in Samudera’s political landscape, and also served as another critical blow to the increasingly unpopular administration of President Justuva Susanto after the loss of SCGAD’s vote in the government coalition. Shocks and surprises were voiced by the common folks alike, with sanctions and the ejection of Samudera from Gael Four that loomed over the already gloomy nation.

“This won’t serve Samudera any better, and the government knows that they can’t change the feeling of common Samuderans who felt that the government has wronged them in the international stage, and with corruptions in the domestic stage. The government must do something in order to minimise the damage, at the very least,” Kamayu Ayunda, a political observer noted. She also said that the general populace won’t trust the government after this meltdown.

Minister of Home Affairs Ahmad Firdaus urge every Samuderans to calm down, after seeing an increasing number of riots in many cities all over the nation.

Police patrolling the streets in Bhinneka (12/07)

“Violence won’t solve anything. You, as a Samuderan citizen, could help the government by supporting the government in the international stage or voiced your support for your beloved nation. This slander won’t shake Samudera if we as a nation unite against the oppression of some vengeful nations in the Isles!”

A TWItter user joked that the Minister of Home Affairs should be renamed to the Minister of Propaganda.

President Justuva has been silent throughout the announcement, instead of saying he will be preparing to meet Ahnslen’s Deputy Prime Minister in Arnton next Monday. SAFI also refused to comment further, saying that they won’t deny nor acknowledge the accusations levied against them.

Grand People’s Assembly will call a session to further investigate this issue, with the Chief of SAFI and the President himself will be summoned to speak in front of the parliament. Talks about the President’s impeachment were widely discussed among the opposition parties, with the most prominent being SCGAD who just broke their coalition last week in a seemingly perfect timing. This will be the first time a Samuderan president faces an impeachment motion in the Assembly if it were to be realised.

The administration of President Susanto will surely face an insurmountable amount of opposition following this revelation, although the government haven’t claimed that they are indeed complicit of the act. Which is doubtful after all the scandals that have hit them in less than a year span. No one knows what will happen once the sanctions have been laid down. Is the future of Samudera a really bleak one?
