Coventry: Covonantian Conservative Party Leader Crassus Gais said that he has discovered the Conspiracy of the Century and termed it the New Khas-Kirat Invasion of the Isles in the middle of his election debate speech.

Image

"So last night I was preparing my speech. I Googled Athara Magarat to know they were leeching of our economy. And then I searched for Bhikkustan to know what missile they were now making. Instead I found out something else. I found that both Athara Magaratis and Bhikkustanis are Khas-Kiratis! Bloody hell! This self-made is refugee crisis by Bhikkustan supported by Athara Magarat and being funded by those Aloha Snackbar guys...I remember their name now - SHOCKers. Moukere is a lackie of these modern-day Khas-Kirat invaders and Corindia is also helping in this refugee crisis/invasion as they are run by reptilian overlords who want to take over our Isles. If elected your next PM, I will REMOVE Khas-Kirati people and Corindi reptilians who are planning to take over the Isles. Sieg Heil!"

The huge crowd were clapping Mr Gais's speech when several armed Men in Black arrived at the scene and escorted him away.

Covonantian political parties conclude last day of campaigning

Today the two major political parties in Covonant, the Democratic Party of Covonant and the Covonantian Conservative Party concluded their final day of campaigning that spanned 4 months. On the final day of campaigns, nominees vying for a seat in the House of Representatives went across the country and the island territory of Senoica seeking to secure their base and mobilise voters around their party. As per the charter, political parties are to seize any form of campaigning on the day before the National Election day at 6 pm exactly. This includes the prohibition of canvassing, handing out flyers, the playing of political ads, and the holding of rallies. Throughout the day however many Covonantians were busy showing support for their favoured party. In Jueverna Ailis DPC party leader Imperatus Marl who has been having a hard time trying to bolster enough support from Jueverna for his party was well received by constituents of the constituency. Mr. Marl expressed that Covonant must continue on the path set out by his administration. He is pledging to continue to lead a stable strong Covonant following along the theme of his party "Making A Stronger Covonant".

Image

Democrats, this is the final calling and the final hour. We are doing our roll call and imploring all to be in attendance tomorrow to vote for the DPC. Covonant under my administration has led a strong Covonant and given five more years we can lead an even stronger Covonant.

The DPC leader implored voters to shun extremist views and show to their fellow country men and women that the Union is a place of tolerance, respect, and acceptance.

We must continue on our path of being a country welcoming of all individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, political views, or who they choose to love. We must show to our Covonantian countryfolk that we disapprove of intolerance, and disrespect and xenophobia, that is not what Covonant stands for that is not who we are as a people.

Mr. Marl promised that when he returns to power tomorrow that he will make it his priority to address social problems facing the country with special attention on Jueverna.

Jueverna is the smallest zone in the country and sad to say among the least developed. Years of neglect from administrations have seen this zone fallen into worst shape. My administration have allocated funds to see social programmes put in place for the people of this zone. We have in our manifesto to create a Jueverna Economic Centre that will see well needed investment come to this zone. We want to partner more with Juevernans but we have to have cooperations with all residents of this zone, we have to address the issue of terrorism so prevalent in this zone and we have to address the societal biases present as well.

Many pollsters have already predicted the CCP to having win most seats in the Zone of Jueverna due to traditional voting patterns. They claim the DPC is looking to reduce the number of seats for the CCP to claim.

Over in Kanaute the Leader of the CCP Crassus Gais used his campaign platform to address reports on foreign nation denouncing the CCP leader's rhetoric towards Covonant's southern neighbour Ventlimer. Mr. Gais expressed that he is not looking for foreigners to support him, his only support is needed from Covonantians.

Image

I have heard the reports last night of foreign countries trying to influence Covonantian voters not to vote for me. They say if you vote for me and I win relations will go sour. They openly support Imperatus. Do you believe this Conservatives. This is our election and I am not interested in the views of foreigners right now. The only support I need is from the Covonantian people.

Mr. Gais notes that the rash response from foreign nations chief among those being Polar Svalbard and Miklania, countries who enjoy fairly good relations with Covonant, is painting him to be not what he is. He express that his views are taking out of proportion.

Now, they imply I am incompetent and unfit to lead, they worry for my administration to come, they spread awful views of my character, persons whom I have never met. They say I have no right to speak the way I did of Ventlimer. This is the world we have come to witness Conservatives, a world where foreigners dare tell us how to speak and how to think. I will not be coerced by their words. We are an independent country and by all means we will act it.

The CCP leader reiterated that his goal is not to seek conflict with Ventlimer but to ensure that they respect Covonant. He is hoping to meet with the new President of Ventlimer when he wins to express hope of improved relations.

Not once I have implied war towards Ventlimer, sanctions maybe but not war. My rhetoric is in line with how that country is acting towards us. We have bent over backwards to meet them at a level playing field and in the end we have seen failed agreement, false accusations coming out of their media reports, racism towards our Neburisan brothers and sisters in Ventlimer and out right disrespect for all we have done for them. I am saying that these must stop. I want them to stop. When it is announced that I am your next Prime Minister I hope to meet with the Ventlimian President to air our concerns and the way to go forward from here.

The CBC caught up with Prime Minister Marl to hear his views on the reports from Covonantian allies that have shown displeasure in the views of the Opposition Leader. He expressed that his views are not representing of the Covonantian people and that by all means they should not be alarmed as he is confident his party will lose.

We understand that this is one the most divisive elections in the history of this country, and for the very reason that my running mate has expressed very controversial views that has caused this election to bring about a lot of uncertainty especially from our partner and friends around the region. It is unfortunate that countries are preparing for a worst case scenario with Gais being leader of Covonant. I think he needs to understand that Covonant is a major player in the region and countries are not going to take lightly anything unorthodox that is expressed. He needs to be mindful that we can't afford to have major regional powers not supporting Covonant.

Political commentators review friday night's leaders electoral debate

Image

Earlier in the CBC studios we were joined by political commentator Mikael Stokes and Linda Wallabee who gave their reviews of Friday night's leaders electoral debate.

Mikael Stokes
I am pleased that the debates were civil and non-confrontational especially seeing that both men rarely ever agrees on most things so it does show a level of political maturity for Covonantian leaders. I would say Prime Minister Marl took home that debate. He more addressed the question stating facts and what his government did and plans to do as well. I think were he fell short for me was not giving more on the NHF which many in Covonant would like to hear more about. He stated a $2 billion dollar allocation to be added but I think most persons are looking on the care provided and the services. The Opposition Leader had some high points primarily concerning the bases. I think many Covonantians would agree that we have too much and the Prime Minister expressed that we need more, so for Crassus to say that he would reduce it I think many Covonantians would appreciate that. Crassus however throughout the debate showed a lack of understanding for diplomacy and foreign affairs, Covonant's commitment to our allies and theirs to us, and also he failed on how he would grow the economy. His response was flat and provided no real solutions really. So I give this one to the Prime Minister.

Linda Wallabee
I agree with Mikael, the Prime Minister evidently came prepared. I was pleased with his response to the economic question and identifying the problem in how we have somewhat slowdown growth. I am a strong supporter and believer in the Cooperative Union, and I believe that the CU could be the gold pot at the end of the rainbow. I was however disappointed with the Prime Minister's response on the number of bases. I agree with Mr. Gais that we need to reduce the amount we have but Mr. Gais remarks on other questions have kinda put us in a bad light internationally and I am excited to see who wins tomorrow as it would mean Covonant continuing on the path we are on which is stable or go on a rollercoaster of a ride with Gais's party and be thrown in the sea of uncertainty. I want to take this medium to tell everyone person eligible to vote, that you must vote. It is your right to vote and we are not only voting for the future of our country but the future of the Isles as well.

Defence Minister Carboni announces Hutalu Operations
    Rathane, Ainslie

Today Patrick Carboni, in a rare speech by the Minister of Defence, announced that Ahnslen and Samuderan forces will enter Hutalu within the week to stabilise the nation and provide vital aid to the nation.

    Image
Above: Carboni pictured with the Hutalu operations director (Centre) and a federal corporal (left).

“We have heard of the need in Hutalu, and the grave situation that is happening there. We cannot wait for international organisations to act, or for the Mesder to intervene. Our Samuderan brothers share this sentiment, and both of our nations will be contributing forces to the effort. Gael must act to ensure its security, and the security of the east.”

Hamish Dyson, the former ambassador to the International District has been reassigned to Hutalu as the operations director for the joint forces. 1000 Ahnslen soldiers will leave for Hutalu in three days time, with 250 Federal Corporals being stationed there by the end of tomorrow. These Ahnslen soldiers will be accompanied by 1000 Samuderan Federal Police. The 750 Ahnslen soldiers are expected to deliver and distribute aid, as well as support legitimate government entities in the nation. The Samuderan Federal Police are to support the Ahnslen soldiers in this. The Federal Corporals are to act as negotiators in ethnic disputes, as well as being attached to Hutali military units in order to train and fortify their island from a large, oppressive corporation.

    Carboni concluded with this statement:
"We look forward to the days when Hutalu is enabled and developed, and acknowledge the enthusiasm of the Hutali people. We cannot let them down."

Many Covonantians have join long queue to vote; complain of long lines

    Image

With what many are calling a good start to the national election day, long lines have been observed at polling stations across the country with many voters complaining of standing for long hours to vote. Among the complaints are that lines have reached outside of the buildings were polling stations are located prompting voters to endure the heat as they wait.

I have been waiting for about a hour and 45 minutes now just to do a process that last less than five minutes. I believe more polling stations could have been established so we could have eliminated these long queues.
    -Atilla (Voter from Coventry)

The Head of the Covonantian Electoral Commission, Mrs. Lola Devereu expressed that the Commission have heard the concerns and are moving at great speed to ensure that voters vote promptly.

    Image

We are responding to the complaints made as we want to ensure all voters vote in a comfortable environment. We are mindful that it is the summer and the days are hot so we want to get as much persons out of the sun as possible. One way we have accomplished that is to set up tents for voters to stand under and provide chairs for the elderly and pregnant women, and we have been distributing free bottles of water to voters as well.

Mrs. Devereu notes that the electoral process is moving smoothly and she is pleased with the way in which the day is progressing.

The process for our voters to vote has been moving very smoothly. Yesterday we had voting for our security forces who today are out in their numbers to ensure that persons obey the voting process and rules and to ensure that in the end there is no violence taking place. I am pleased with how the day is progressing so far and if we continue at this rate we could have the results aired later tonight and not late in the morning as we have seen occurred in previous elections.

Party leaders arrive in their constituency to vote

The leaders of the two major parties have cast their votes in their respective constituencies a few moments ago. Over in Capitoline where Democratic Party of Covonant party President is the representative, was flown in on the Hawk to cast is vote. Per the charter, Covonantian nationals are to vote in the constituency they electoral I.D was processed. The DPC leader being representative of East Central Capitoline votes in that constituency. The CBC caught up with Mr. Marl to hear his views.

    Image

I am confident of a victory. I know of some seats that the DPC should gain, what we have focused on his getting seats that traditionally have fallen to the CCP. I am pleased with how the election process is going so far. I have heard complaints of long lines but my constituents have assured me that the lines are not that much of an issue for them not to vote. It is a public holiday so persons eligible to vote can do so at their convenience granted it is before 6 pm when voting closes.

When asked if he is concerned about losing and his relation with Gais if events turn in the oppositions favour, the Prime Minister had this to say.

I am not going to focus on losing. I am optimistic for a win, but will support the views of the citizens of Covonant. We will have to wait and see how the night ends before I can speak of a change in government.

Mr. Marl expressed that he and his family are optimistic and will be spending the rest of the day together with close friends and relatives. He will be attending the DPC National Headquarters in Coventry when the election results are aired.

Over in Malvern Alstaer the CCP party President Crassus Gais arrived with his wife and son to cast his vote. An unusual event however for the Opposition Leader to bring his son who is underage into the polling station, which the electoral commission has argued had breached electoral protocol. Though not illegal under Covonantian law but ill-advisable to occur from the electoral commission, the director of the Commission Lola Devereu expressed that in the future such occurrence must not occur again.

    Image

With his vote cast, the CCP leader speaking with the CBC expressed confidence that his party will be victorious at the end of the night.

We are sure of this win. We are projected to win our traditional seats and we have seen a great increase in the number of supporters. I await to be the 53rd Prime Minister when it is announced tonight.

Mr. Gais expressed that he and his family will be flying to Kanaute to attend the CCP National Convention Centre when the election results are to be aired.

Cynthia Gais, Wife of Opposition Leader Crassus Gais has found herself in the hot seat after making a tweet on her twitter account expressing that Julia Marl, wife of Prime Minister Marl should get out of her house. The house she is referring to is the Palatine Manor. When contacted by the CBC Mrs. Gais declined to comment. Mrs. Marl was also contacted by the CBC where she expressed she was not aware of the tweet.

I was not aware of a tweet by Mrs. Gais. But if that incident did occur it would be very immature of her to make such statements. The Palatine Manor belongs to the people of Covonant and the occupants of this stately home are mere temporary residents. We cannot allow politics to divide especially Mrs. Gais who understands the role we women undertake in supporting our husbands political career.

Mrs. Gais has since deleted the tweets.

Be sure to stay tuned to the CBC throughout the day for election updates, in-depth analysis, and the announcing of the final results for Covonant Decides 2017.

Breaking News: CCP wins election in landslide victory, Crassus Gais to be announced as 53rd Prime Minister of Covonant

    Image

Welcome to CBC Election headquarters we have breaking news coming in now from the Electoral Commission. Reports have suggest that the Covonantian Conservative Party have claimed majority seats in the Consul to form the next government. The release from the Electoral Commission expressed that out of 240 seats the CCP have gained 142 out of the 240 seats to the DPC gaining 96 seats. We understand that 2 ballots boxes are still not yet finished being counted but we can confirm a victory for the CCP. We take you over live to the Electoral Commission headquarters where the Director of the Commission Mrs. Lola Devereu is making her statement.

    Image

Out of a total of 238 boxes counted thus far, we can announce that the Covonantian Conservative Party have gained 142 seats thus far to the Democratic Party of Covonant 96 seats thus far. We can announce that the CCP have claimed enough seats to form the next government. I have sent a letter to the President informing of the preliminary results and will send another informing him of the final results. We are pleased with how the election day had progressed. We can report a election turnout of 68%.

Image CCP supporters celebrating election win

We are joined by our panelist, Mr. Mikael Stokes CBC'S political correspondent, Mrs. Linda Wallabee Professor of Political Science at the University of Coventry, and Mr. Andre Seniu former head of the University of Covonant Department of Government. Thanks for joining us. I would like to start with Mikael. This win for the CPC did you see it coming, and what does it mean for the DPC party and Prime Minister Marl.

ImageDPC supporters shocked at election results

Good night to the other guest on the show and viewers watching. This win for the CCP, I don't think anyone saw it coming, I mean we knew they would have won safe seats but they have garnered a super majority in the Consul. I am somewhat shocked at this victory as I believed the DPC would have taken this election. I think the DPC will have to reflect on why they lost this election and have to regroup and think about how they can be an effective opposition because starting next week they will be the opposition.

Linda, the CCP as won making Crassus Gais the Prime Minister elect. Is this troubling, did the electorates get it wrong.

Also I would like to say good night as well. We are a democratic society and that is one of the major tenets of democracy and that is majority rule and the majority that sought to vote went out and did. At 68% voter turnout is small, very small noting the history of voter turnouts which we have seen over the years. I am not certain if it is public apathy towards the political process but it is something that we will have to address in the future. Is a Crassus Gais administration troubling. To me it is and I will explain why. Base on the rhetoric he have expressed during this campaign and observing his past voting patterns, we can know for sure he is not your average conventional political figure. Already he seems to be making a lot of noise in the international arena and Covonantian allies are concerned. This victory will none the less change the course of this country for the better I cannot say.

Professor Seniu, what do you think is going through the minds of the DPC at this time and what can you predict of the future of Covonantian politics from this point.

I think the party is shocked, wondering where they have went wrong. The blind can see where they have went wrong. The DPC Imperatus Marl led administration were not that engaging during the election season, we saw the Prime Minister absent for a great length of periods, policies implemented were not favourable to the electorate. The electorate is sending a message to the Democratic party that they are fed up. They are fed up with interventionist policies, fed up with billions wasted on overseas operations and bases. I think they see a new hope in Gais. What Gais will have to do is to ensure that he can maintain his support base because we have seen over the years that the Prime Minister's support base as dwindled. But Mr. Gais and his party is taking helm at a time when Covonant is a respected country internationally, and his views on the campaign have not been met well with our allies overseas. He will have to be more diplomatic towards our allies. I can't say how the new government will look or their mandate until next week when we sworn in a new Prime Minister and new cabinet.

Sorry to break you there Professor, we have to go live to the DPC National Headquarters here in Coventry where Prime Minister Marl is about to speak. We believe this is the moment he will concede to defeat.

    Image

Democrats, we have fought a long fight. Though we may not have gotten the results we wanted we have stayed true to our democratic ideals, and values. The Democratic Party of Covonant is still strong and though our supporters are feeling down now, we shall live to fight another fight. We have done a remarkable job over the five years we have led this country, and we promise to do the same even in opposition. I want to thank all my running mates of the party who did their very best to reach out to you our electorates. Though some didn't believe in our message and in our vision, we respect your decision for change. I congratulate the Conservative Party and Crassus Gais the man who will be our next Prime Minister. It was a long and well fought campaign and the party whom majority of the electorate believe can lead this country won. We look to work with the incoming government, but we pledge to be an incoming Opposition that will be critical and vocal to ensure the government does not overstep. To our allies overseas, Covonant is still a nation that prides itself on our democracy and the rule of law. A nation that looks to diplomacy instead of conflict. I am optimist of a bright Covonantian future. Thank you ladies and gentlemen. Thank you.

We see the Prime Minister conceding to defeat. Mikael what is next for the Prime Minister.

Well he will be going back to the Palatine Manor tonight but I can assure that packing will commence immediately tomorrow morning. He will have to be out of the house by Monday next week before the Prime Minister elect swears oath of office. He seems to accept his incoming role of Opposition leader. He however will after a new government is formed be called to Consuls who will hold hearings on investigations by the FICA, we believe that with a new government in place they will push to see it done.

We are awaiting to hear from the Prime Minister elect Crassus Gais. In the meantime as we wait, Professor Seniu do you believe the incoming government may override some of the works done by the current administration.

Without a doubt, I expect the new government to make major changes. We can expect to see many new persons fill critical positions, the government will move to call a referendum on Covonant's membership in the CU which they can do without the consent of the Opposition. We are not too sure of the policies that they will implement we await to hear those next week when the Prime Minister elect is sworn in.

We have to cut you again sorry, we go live to the CPC National Convention Centre in Kanaute where the Prime Minister elect is giving his victory speech.

    Image

Thank you, thank you...Ladies and Gentlemen, Conservatives, Covonantians. You have made the call and the CPC shall answer. You have sent the message that you are tired of the policies of old governance. I promise a policy of new governance. A policy that put the people of Covonant first above all else. We have to change, we must change and we will change. Tonight I would like to thank my wonderful campaign team who ensured that we got to the grassroot of the party to hear your issues, to hear your views. We won't take them for granted. I want to thank all who voted for the CCP as you have not only made a vote for the future of your family and fellow country man but a future for Covonant as well. I look to serve no other interest but the interest of the Covonantian people. I look to be a firm leader that believes in the sovereignty of my country and my people and will ensure that the interest of this country is pursued by all means necessary. I promise a policy of defending Covonant from all threats foreign and local. I promise to bring back our sovereignty by granting you the people of Covonant to determine if you will make your own decisions or to have non-Covonantians make them for you. I will be the hope that this country seek and I can promise that it will not be business as usual. Thank you Conservatives, Thank you for believing in the CCP

The Prime Minister elect Crassus Gais speaking there. A lot of promises made. Linda your take on his speech.

Empty. Nothing new from what he has stated on the campaign. I think we are all eager to see what he will bring to the table. I am kinda sad because I do not know if this election result is indicative of Covonant leaving the CU and I am shock that persons in Covonant think leaving the CU is a good idea. I am eager to see what unfolds.

Mikael you will have the final say for tonight. Is Covonant image abroad going to change under a Gais led administration.

I think it already has. Countries have expressed that if Gais does become Prime Minister relations will go sour. I don't want our allies to be too reactionary. I think we should all give the CCP a chance. We have seen campaigns and promises made during elections and the government haven't acted on it. I am sure Gais will act on the policies that he stressed on during the election and that were what gave him the vote, but I think we should give him a chance. He obviously will have to be guided. I know it is customary for Prime Minister elect to be briefed by the current Prime Minister on what is going on internationally and locally and they will try to give some advice, I doubt in this case that will occur as these two individuals seldom or if ever see eye to eye

Thanks Mikael and thanks to Professor Seniu and Mrs. Wallabee for joining us for our special election edition of Covonant decides 2017. DO REMEMBER THIS IS THE CBC.

BREAKING NEWS: Congress Summons Covonantian Ambassador over Shock Election Result
Winston Gorgovin, The Stellanova Times | July 03 2017

    Image
The National Assembly during a general debate session over the issuance of the summons.

    - (Stellanova City, Tectonix) The National Assembly has passed a resolution, summoning the Covonantian Ambassador to the Cooperative Union to address Congress over the shock election results of their recent general election. According to CBC, the nation's Covonantian Conservative Party has taken 142 of the 240-seat parliament, and hard-right Opposition Leader Crassus Gais has been confirmed to become the 53rd Prime Minister of the Cooperative Union's most fundamental member.

Valdr Maxwell's office released a statement expressing dismay at the collapse of the nation's once-thriving left-wing political coalition, and a stern warning to the incoming Prime Minister to not tamper with the Cooperative Union.

...Although we are not personally liking of the result, Valdr Maxwell does not dispute the integrity of their ballot box, and politely congratulates PM-elect Gais on his electoral victory. However, due to the wide-ranging implications regarding the PM-elect's stance on Covonant's relation with the Cooperative Union, Tectonix would like to make it clear to the new government of the CU's greatest member that it would be wholly unwise to go about tampering with the tight-knit economic union. Our nation benefit mightily over it, as do all others, and we would not take kindly to our economic stability being threatened. However, that being said, Valdr Maxwell has made it clear that he wishes this dispute to be settled with calm words and dialogue, which is why the National Assembly made the summons. We wish to provide this new government a voice in our Congress, seeing as we do not wish to be blind in our approach regarding this topic. As liberal we may be, intellectual conservative minds will always have a place in our halls...

Chief National Ambassador Daniel B. Entemont, who is currently overseeing the admission of the nations of Dormill and Stiura and Grand Force into the Cooperative Union as Interim Admissions Director, was unavailable for comment. Secretary of State Giovanni K. Alder, however, was able to give us his opinion.

I am very disappointed by these results from what we thought to be the bedrock of liberal democracy in the Cooperative Union. However, we cannot sit here and mope — we must give this new government the chance to explain their positions on Tectonix, the Cooperative Union and the economic ties to both, for we would be governing blind if we did not. Assembly President Smith has granted me entrance onto the floor of the joint session chamber, and I will certainly be present for when the honourable ambassador arrives.

In other news, we here at the Stellanova Times would like to announce the creation of the Tectonix Decides 2017 segment, in preparation to the vote in December. Polls have yet to be released, though we know that Valdr Maxwell will be running for re-election. This story is still very much in development, and we will run a proper edition regarding this matter once the Covonantian election coverage has concluded.

BREAKING NEWS: Kenzai unveils new summit and responds to future Covonantian PM Gais.

It is official. The next Prime Minister of Covonant will be the controversial candidate Crassus Gais, who was known for speaking out against the CU. He led the Covonant Conservatives Party to an impressive majority, worrying many allies in the Mesder and beyond. Prime Minister Kenzai held a speech to respond to this event.

"This is a clear example of the strength of the people and the remarkable health of the Covonantian democratic institutions. We thank Gais for the motivation and patriotism shown through his campaign and his presentation of an alternative Covonant, something essential in any multiparty democracy. We thank PM Marl for his service and dedication in office, and wish him and his family a bright future."

Kenzai also answered a journalist's question before he moved onto his next topic. That discourse went as follows:
Prime Minister, as you know, the CU is a major grievance for Gais. How will Ainslie respond?

"I see this election outcome as a warning signal, a wake up call for all the nations, including ours who have relied on the Mesder for support for decades, if not centuries now. Things grow, things change, and this is a perfect example of that. The Mesder will not always be there for her allies the way we'd like them to be. We understand the concerns surrounding sovereignty that Gais has, and it was a major issue for our government entering the Cooperative Union. However, we understood that the benefits outweigh the losses. We hope that Gais will also reach this conclusion, but we will still respect him if he does not follow this belief. What is clear is that with this change in the world, as any change, exposes the reliance that nations have on groups, people, institutions. We cannot continue relying on the Mesder like we do. We need to forge our future together, recognising and actively working with new and old allies to create a brighter tomorrow. We need to stop this inequality we have between our allies and not have a singular focus. We are beginning to negotiate further with our eastern allies, and our government is continually working to achieve this"

Only days before this comment, a new G4 summit was announced in Highland Ridge, in which the nations will discuss how to expand the alliance.

Soon after this response, Kenzai moved onto another topic. There has been talk surrounding the CU Annual Summit, and Kenzai confirmed today what no one was expecting. The summit is heading east to AInslie this year, instead of being held in Covonant.

"It is a great honour for me, and my administration, to announce that the CU Annual Summit will be held in Caranoor this year."

Caranoor, a city of 40,000 is just outside of Mandurah. It is known for its world class beaches, which are surprisingly underused by tourists who instead flock to the more traditional centres such as Mandurah and Leederville. Locals in Caranoor were expecting that the G4 Summit was going to be held in the city, but this surprise comes right after that particular event was announced to be in Highland Ridge.

What is clear and certain now is that Caranoor is looking forward to an even larger summit. Many Federal Corporals have been dispatched to the city for a good time now, but the numbers are expected to increase dramatically in days to come. The summit is to begin on the 12th of July, local time.

Ainslie's commitment to the CU appears to be steadfast despite these changes, however the administration appears to be expanding its options throughout the region to ensure Ainslie its continued economic and political stability.

Top Story: Consul Adstutia gives Press Release on Covonantian Elections

Today was the final results for the Covonantian Elections with the country's Conservative party winning 142 seats of the 240 seat government taking a large majority and thus making Mr. Gais the prime minister of Covonant, deposing Mr. Marl as Prime minister to become the 53rd in Covonantian history.

These results were unexpected with many nations across the Isles taking a step back. Already numerous governments have issued press releases on the results of the elections and Polar Svalbard is no different. The Consul Adstutia in the past hour has released a press statement on the elections.

She congratulated Mr. Gais on his victory and offered to host him in Polar Svalbard when he settles into his new office. She stated that she hoped that this new Prime Minister would be willing to cooperate with Polar Svalbard and the MSTO in making a lasting friendship between nations. She did not say anything about Ventlimer, nor what her coleuge Mr. Zeltargo stated in the past few days. Overall the tone of her speech was congratulatory.

Interestingly the Consul Bellum did not make an announcement today, rather leaving it to the Consul Adstutia to make the announcement.

We will see in the coming weeks how this new leader affects Covonant's position in the region.

President Aslat Announces Nuclear Energy Program, Hydroelectric Dam Construction

This morning, the President released a statement announcing the start of a nuclear energy program. The program would begin the construction of two Nuclear Power-plants in Calzun and Ventliri and would be managed by the Oster company Oster Consortium for Energy Solutions. The project would cost about 10 Billion Dollars over the next 5 years. While not slated for completion until 2022, the project includes two nuclear powerplants and a slow, but steady, transition into Ventlimer's own independent fuel cycle.

"This process," the statement read, "will also require the retooling and equipping of our mining industry to begin to mine less coal and more Uranium. This will take place slowly and will only go fully into affect when the Coal Power-plants are shut down. Whether this process requires government subsidization or a reliance on the Market to supply the new demand is yet to be seen."

The funding for this project comes from a 50 Billion USD Grant from the MSTO upon Ventlimer's signing of the treaty. While 10 Billion of that is earmarked by the MSTO for modernization of the military as well as ports and other military installations, the other 40 Billion was meant for the "Development of sufficient energy, transportation, and other economic infrastructure".

Also announced was the building of two Hydro-Electric dams built along the two rivers flanking the city which overflowed their banks last month. This project is meant to help with flood control as well as to replace the coal power-plants that feed the city. The project will again be headed by a foreign company, this time Vancouvian. Another 10 Billion Dollars of the MSTO loan has been allocated for this project and it is to be completed between 2022 and 2024.

In the meantime, the Ventlimian Air Quality Department announced a series of restrictions, modifications, and other regulations aimed at massively decreased pollution in Ventlimer. Among the requirements announced are modifications aiming to not only help with hazardous pollution, but with Carbon Pollution as well.

"Climate Change," a VAQD official said in the press conference, "has not only been shown to be a real issue, but has massive evidence suggesting humans have caused the rapid rate of Global Warming and other factors by our carelessness and industrial activities. It is a threat to every nation around the world. Therefore, every nation must take action against it regardless of their economic development status."

While resistance against the measures is sure to mount, the Black Fog Act of 2017 which created the VAQD gave the agency broad and unrestricted powers and is answerable only to the president, who may at any time review the agency's actions and veto or force certain measures on the agency.

"This agency has been given the power to act without dealing with Congress," one senator from Valshwab said. "Thus, it will operate without fear of the corruption and self-interest that fills the Congressional Chambers. However, this means that it will be mostly unaccountable and that in itself may lead to issues."

Secretary of State Vutna Crusso Congratulates Gias on Election Victory, Advises Caution

The Secretary of State Vutna Crusso recognized and congratulated Prime Minister-Elect Gias's win this morning in a statement released by the State Department.

"The Iron Republic congratulates Prime Minister-Elect Gias in his victory and wish him the best of luck in carrying out the duties of the PM in Covonant," the statement read. "While Ventlimer and Covonant have been exchanging firm words, we do look forward to meeting and working with the PM-Elect. However, We must strongly caution Gias against making comments like those at the debates and those of shortly afterward. While Ventlimer is always willing to work with its neighbors, such comments carry a much higher consequence as Prime Minister than as the Opposition Leader."

Some political commentators expressed their shock at the super-majority won by the CCP, which gives Gias all the power he needs to carry out his campaign promises.

"The people of Covonant have spoken," one said, "and the people of Ventlimer must now wait to see if his actions match his words on the campaign trail and to what degree they do or don't. Either way, Ventlimer will be watching Covonant closely as it cements its ties to the MSTO and revitalizes its economy."

President Abelló Signs Into Law Reductions in Ventliri Goods, Congratulates Incoming Covonantian PM

    Image
Abelló Congratulated Covonantian PME Gais at a televised press conference held in Greenwall

After much deliberation in the Union Congress, the proposed tariff relaxations presented several weeks ago have been signed into law. Tariffs will be lifted on Ventliri ores, chemicals, steel products, and fossil fuels starting on the first of August. The move is believed to be the result of a Corindi shift closer to allied nations after communist forces surrounding the islands adopted a more hostile stance towards aligned nations.

President Abelló made a clear statement of solidarity towards the Prime Minister Elect of Covonant, Crassus Gais today. After initially tweeting congratulations to the firebrand PME, he reiterated the congratulations in a hopeful press conference, in which he publicly invited the rising star of Covonantian politics to "stop by Flores anytime".

    Verona Beach Wave Generators Installed!

Verona Beach Earlier today, a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new style of clean energy occurred off the north end of Capulet National Park. The opening ceremony was for a groundbreaking new wave farm which shall be used to generate around 3 mW a day, providing some substantial green energy to the city. The buoys ride the waves which causes a turbine to spin. The spinning turbine powers a generator, which wires its electricity to the mainland. These groundbreaking generators are provided by Opportunity Power Technologies Ltd. of Verona Beach. This is the latest stage of Roland Markwardt's revolutionary green energy program across the country, which has helped clean up Verona Beach and make it come close to being one of the few carbon neutral first world nations. Markwardt stated that "This is another great step towards the continued prosperity and the transition of Verona Beach from fossil fuels to green energy. The next phase of the project is slated to be more solar facilities to be constructed in the southern Wards.

San Javier Hit Hard by Disease

    Image
The City of Pachualla has been devastated by an influx of the Atnaian Disease, prompting authorities to take extreme measures to curb its influence

Due to the sudden prevalence of diseased refugees and residents, the Azul Naturaleza appointed Governor of Pachualla has announced that curfews are to be enforced and entry to the city will be restricted to prevent further infection of its populace. This comes just weeks after emergency clinics established city-wide were found to slow, but not stop, the epidemic.

Local cadre leaders have stated that they believe that the Atnaian Disease will have little impact on military operations, very little of which is based in the city, as well as food production, which is largely decentralized. Still, there have been several shortages of sugar and other commodities as isle-wide traffic slows down to a halt.

At this critical juncture in the new history of the Iza people, it is important that the down-trodden Iza people of San Javier remember why we fight, and why plagues such as the Atnaian Disease will only slow, never halt our inexorable advance.

Covonant-Albionite relations to grow - Prime Minister congratulates CCP win

    The Lanercost Times - 5th July 2017
    ________________________________

United Commonwealths' Prime Minister released a statement notable primarily for its brevity, continuing the nation's long-term support for the Conservative candidate.

Prime Minister Robyn O'Presco has congratulated the centrist Crassus Gais on his emphatic victory, against the current Prime Minister Marl, in the recent Covonant election.

In a statement put out by her press secretary and notable primarily for its brevity, the PM's statement said: “We congratulate Prime Minister-elect Gais and the people of Covonant on their successful general election. We look forward to working with the new Prime Minister and continuing our close cooperation with the Covonant government.

Gais’s decisive trouncing of Marl by a ratio of almost two voters to one puts O'Presco in a strong position, now able to conduct business with a fellow Conservative government.

The defeat of Marl emboldens the bubble of populism that had swept the region in recent years, and as such may have positive knock-on effects for the new incumbent of the United Commonwealths' historically right-leaning government. O'Presco and Marl see eye-to-eye on issues ranging from immigration, suspicion of trade and globalism and an advocacy of what they both bill as nation-first politics.

More recently, ties between the two nations may have paled. When O'Presco launched a decisive naval campaign to police the Commonwealths' maritime borders against possible migrants, Marl was one of the few political leaders in the region to openly criticise her.

O'Presco had said repeatedly that she didn’t intend the United Commonwealths' to be the world’s policeman any longer, and that is exactly what she did,” quoted one media outlet.

      Image
Should O'Presco seek re-election in this era of popularism,
the nation's Eagle Strike Bomber deterrant will be a major issue

Michael Wheatus, O'Presco’s left-leaning rival in the upcoming election, refused to offer his congratulations to Gais, saying in a tweet that the result was a defeat “for Covonant, the C6 & the world”.

Like Marl, Wheatus has long opposed the use of large militaries - including the U.C.'s Eagle Strike bombers, the nation's main deterrant against possible strikes to the nation.

Whilst many continue to discount Wheatus as a possible PM, the growing activism and power of the youth vote has definitely been noted by the People's Labour Party, who are currently spending millions of Staters in their online media campaigns.

As the time towards the United Commonwealths' elections begins to loom, many are beginning to wonder if the spread of nationalist popularism will embolden the U.C.'s resolve, or if the right-wing spell in the United Commonwealths' could be broken.

    Vancouvia Celebrates National Day

Cheers erupted across the mainland today as crowds gathered to witness the annual Fighter Flyover of Vancouvian National Army jets in celebration of Vancouvia's National Day. The VNA fighter planes, painted in the national blues, soared across the Trio cities and along the Grand Vancouvian Rail as they ran their tour of celebration. Some citizens polled after the event remarked that the annual celebration was "one of the best ever" and "astonished, amazed, and dazzled" even the most spartan of citizens. Many commented on the almost scandalous series of loops conducted over Lexington at the mid-point of the tour.

Some went on to say that the event was a much needed relief after the recent terror attacks shocked and dismayed the nation. "Coming together in celebration of our nation and our military - I don't think there's a better way to spend my afternoon," said a retired veteran of the VSF, who enjoyed the festivities with his family in Yorkford.

Vancouvia Votes 'No' to Latest League Resolution

The resolution, titled Revision of Maritime and Aerospace Borders would, among other things, force Vancouvian fishermen to reduce their customary fishing grounds to within 200 nautical miles and submit themselves to a League committee to seek an exception. The Fisherman's Advocacy Board, one of the few interest groups in Vancouvia to gain widespread membership, was fiercely against the resolution. While the vote is likely to pass, Congress has insisted that they will seek all available means to "ensure the Vancouvian fishing industry continues to excel."

COOPERATIVE ZONE, COVONANT, Antana News Agency - After the lengthy process in the Cooperative Union Commission, Samudera is finally admitted to the Cooperative Union. The final speech given by the Samuderan Ambassador in the CU Commission, gave us a good outline how things will benefit for both CU as a whole and Samudera herself.

Our entrance into the CU would introduce valuable resources in larger quantities. The industrialised nations of the union require breadbaskets, and Samudera’s economy is sustained by agricultural investment. Samudera also hosts world class tourist destinations which are famous around the Isles.

Furthermore, Samudera has been a light in the world of foreign investment, an emerging market which is quickly finding its feet and becoming an important economic entity. This combination of inward investment and outward agricultural products positions Samudera as a well-suited member of the Cooperative Union.

Quoting Ambassador Anissa Cahya final speech in the CU Commission, she explains briefly what Samudera could offer to the CU. After her speech, the CU member voted to admit Samudera with 2/3 majority votes needed. No objections came from CU members about Samudera's admittance to the Union.

President Justuva immediately flew to Cooperative Zone in Covonant to sign the Treaty of Coventry, formalising Samudera's admittance to the Union. Other requirements will be fulfilled to be officially a member of the CU, which includes a new passport issue for Samuderan citizens that were released today.

May Samudera's admittance to the Cooperative Union brings prosperity to all.

Voter Fruad Investigation reveals widespread corruption in Jes District.

In a recent press conference a spokeswoman for the Department of Law Enforcement and Justice updated the press on the voter fraud investigation in Jes District.

We have uncovered at least 43 “operators” whose job it was to sway voters into voting for the LNP. Persuasion techniques ranged from bribing to blackmailing and threats. We know that someone in the Jes Police Department made sure that any reports of voter coercion were never followed up on. We will release the name of the individual at a later date.

When asked if DOLE believed that the voter coercion might have swayed the COPAD election results in Jes the spokeswoman declined to answer, saying the investigation was still ongoing.

Both the NLP and it’s incoming COPAD members have declined to comment.

Meanwhile the swearing in of all new Jes COPAD representatives has been postponed until the investigation is completed.

Chief Executive Renolds comments on voter fraud crisis

    Image
My administration has been following the developments in Jes very closely. I know that this news is very troubling, but we will get to the bottom of this. Lardians should not have to wonder whether their vote is safe every time they participate in an election.

Meanwhile COA members have announced that they will be opening an inquiry into all elections nationwide in Lardingo.

Chief Executive issues statement on election results in Covonant
I want to congratulate Crassus Gais on becoming the new Prime Minister of Covonant. Covonant’s people have spoken. It is refreshing to see a new international leader who respects the sovereignty of his own nation.

    Missing Nuclear Weapons Found!

    7/6/17

    Image
One of the two recovered weapons, photographed at an unidentified base

After a long coordinated effort, classified, but rumored to involve special forces, the military, and even bounty hunters, the two missing nuclear bombs were discovered. Apparently in the chaos of the Pondes takeover, they were without documentation moved to a bunker hidden within the Jahe mountain range. Notes found in the area show fears of the commanding officer of the program of what Pondes would have done with the weapons. He enacted emergency protocols, but then without documentation moved the weapons to a forgotten bunker build in the 1950's. While he was in fear, it was a foolish move in where he moved it to. The weapons are now secure in an unidentified airbase. It is unknown what will be done with the weapons.

One of the prevailing questions among the military establishment has been how the ďǧrn have managed to acquire the resources, both financial and weaponized, to supply the current insurrection. A recent raid on a compound in lsnp, wďǧ d̊r has provided a thoroughly surprising answer - trafficking.

"Documents found at the sight suggest that the ďǧrn have been involved in drug, arms, and human trafficking across the isles going all the way back to 2003" stated loko|viz|prac of the Department of Intelligence, Ministry of Defence. He further explained that the operations were "...widespread, efficient, lucrative, and quiet. You'd be hard pressed to find a (black) market anywhere in the isles where the ďǧrn were not involved in at least part of the process, and an even harder time proving that involvement."

Despite knowing the existence of the smuggling operations, the DoI has stated that it has no knowledge as to how the acts were carried out, and is unlikely to find any answers soon, for what documents they were able to secure either provided minimal detail or were heavily encrypted.

Aside from detailing how the ďǧrn have acquired the resources that they have, the documents also hint at a complex organizational structure. "They'd need subsidiary groups hard to trace back to the main body, foreign, and heathen, personnel to run these subsidiaries, an array of connections to pull upon, starting capital to compete with already established cartels, and more besides" states galsi man qez kovv, a Professor of Economics at mesquvv university specializing in illegal markets. "That they've managed to pull this off for so long without generating the slightest bit of suspicion is unfathomably impressive."

The MoD and MoJ have indicated that they will be on heightened alert for ďǧrn smuggling operations, but one has to wonder how anything will be done about this without information detailing how the operations are run.

Meet the most searched countries by Marian tourists

    Image
Marian couple spotted in San Jimenez

Accounted data of the Ministry of Tourism appoints to a increase of more than 50% in expenses by Marians outside of Dragão do Mar, compared to a search from four years ago. Counting on a stable economy and bigger income, Marians are taking more vacations in other countries. Among the most searched destination are neighbor countries, due to the low cost and accessibility to get there, countries of the Cooperative Union, due to politics of easy transition between its member states, and countries with similar culture, mostly members of the Association of Luso-Hispanic Nations.

A recent research reveals that Keomora, bordering country with Dragão do Mar and also a member of the CU, is the main touristic destination took by Marians. In fact, it shows that in the last six years more than 800,000 thousands of Marians traveled to the country in vacation. The second most searched is Ainslie, country present in the CU with pleasant people and climate, that received 700,000 thousands of Marian tourists in the last six years. The third most searched destination is San Jimenez, country present in the CU and ALHN that shares numerous cultural similarities with Dragão do Mar, and in the last six years registered 500,000 thousands of Marian tourists.

The main factors that Marian tourists take into consideration when going to other countries are the safety; efficiency of organs of public defense. The warmness; if the population is receptive to foreign persons. The local politics and government; if it is a stable and pacific government without external or internal threads. And the culture; being attractive if it is by any way remarkable or similar.

Other countries also were appointed as main touristic destinations, they are Nordrik, Verona Beach, Noronica, Mirigli, Ipland, Corindia, Segentova, Covonant, Vancouvia, Michigonia and Travencia. As we still in the summer vacations, we can expect many Marian tourists having them as reference.

Athara Magarati Soldier Dies Heroically in Moukere

Corporal Ghale's body was brought home for his funeral.

    GHAN POKHARA

The family of an Athara Magarati soldier shot dead in southern Moukere said today that they were "devastated" at their loss.

Coroporal Vijay Ghale, 21, from the Rats Battalion, was helping to build a new sentry post at a base in Koto region, on Thursday when his unit came under attack from unidentified insurgents.

His mother, Sun Maya, said: "He loved the army and was very proud to be an Athara Magarati soldier. I am proud that my son served in the Ahara Magarati army instead of vying for other nation and that he died doing a job that he loved."

    Image

Corporal, of 3rd Company Rats Battalion, was born in the town Ghan Pokhara, Athara Magarat, and had to support his family after his father died when he was 14. He followed in his father's footsteps to become a soldier but decided to serve his nation instead of vying for Gurkha jobs in other nations like his friends and relatives did. He was deployed to Moukere with 3rd Rats this year on his first operational tour.

He leaves behind his mother, brother, Kaji and sister, Richa, who said in a joint statement: "Our family is devastated with the news of Vijay's death in Moukere."

Corporal Ghale was remembered by his comrades as a dedicated soldier and a talented sportsman who excelled at cross-country running and boxing. Lieutenant Colonel Bom Bahadur Wagale, commanding officer of Rats Battalion, said the corporal died putting his life in danger to provide protection for others.

"Corporal Vijay Ghale had bags of energy and his motivation never faulted," he said. "Even after the longest of days, on the most demanding tasks in the toughest of conditions, he would have a huge smile on his face and be ready for more. His enthusiasm was infectious and his friends loved him for it. He was modest to a fault, polite and, even when covered in dust and mud, still managed to be immaculately turned out. He died like his name - a victorious person."

Captain Yam Bahadur Poon, troop commander of 3rd Company Rats Battalion, said Corporal Ghale was a "loving family man" with a bright future ahead of him.

He said: "His passing leaves a void in our lives and we will always have fond memories of him. He will never be forgotten."

Defense Minister Jyoti Thapa praises Corporal Ghale.

The new defense minister, Ms Jyoti Thapa (who revealed the truth behind the Vancouvian drone strike), said: "Corporal Bijay Ghale was an outstanding young soldier. He was held in high regard by his fellow soldiers as courageous, loyal and honorable in his work, which was vital to our operations in Moukere. His death is a sad loss to the Rats Battalion, and my thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues."

This is the first Athara Magarati death in Moukere. Estimated 200 Athara Magarati soldiers from 3rd and 6th Companies of Rats Battalion and even some military advisers from the Armed Police Force of Athara Magarat have been deployed to Moukere since June as part of the International Sangh Defense Pact's (ISDP) intervention in the violence-rimed nation that has been considered within ISDP member Bhikkustan's sphere of influence.

As for Athara Magarat, most of the migrant laborers come from Moukere and for the eight months, Moukeri refugees have been fleeing violent ethnic conflicts, termed by some as a civil war, in their nation and the number of Moukeri (and Bhikkustani) refugees stranded in Athara Magarat has crossed 60,000 despite efforts by some other nations to help the socialist republic with the refugee crisis. Athara Magarat's official stance is to bring stability in Moukere to stop the inflow of refugees from Moukere.

Defense Minister Jyoti Thapa added that the Democratic Republic of Athara Magarat would continue increasing the number of soldiers up to 500 soon in Moukere to bring peace and stability. "Even if the ISDP has now become obsolete after Bhikkustan joined New Aapelistan to form the Eastern Union of Socialist Republics and even if we withdrew from the League and even if the League is ignoring the refugee crisis and its source in Moukere, our nation will continue working to bring peace and stability in our own way."

The Ilse Votes 'Aye' for Resolution 3

Despite generally espousing free trade policies, the Government has voted in favour of the massive swathes of exclusive economic zones granted by the League. The King and nobility are already taking full advantage of the exclusive economic zone, and several merchantmen have been accosted by frigates and other patrol vessels of the provinces. Each Barony, Lordgrant, County, and Duchy with a coast is offering licenses to foreign companies wishing to drill for oil, fish, or engage in other maritime activities within Belle Ilse en Terre's exclusive economic zone.

    Holy Alliance Commends Athara Magarat
After a secret meeting held yestreday on Belle Île, the Holy Alliance, with a unanimous vote, has praise Athara Magarat 'profound samaritan spirit' and admirable peace-keeping efforts. Major charities of the Ilse are already seeking to co-operate with the Bhikkustani, Moukeri, and Athara Magarati governments to supply food and water to the impoverished of Moukere. King Maximilien IV has considered sending knights over, but has decided to wait upon the League of the Western Isles.

    Vice President Albano Resigns

Travencia City: Following the recent election in neighboring Covonant, Vice President James Albano has announced his intention to resign from the office of the vice presidency and be reassigned to the newly created post Ambassador to Covonant. President McMurray has given hints in recent conversations that Albano did seek and obtain his permission to do so. As a power regulated to the presidency, the transition should be pretty seamless for Albano.

Who will be Vice President now? There isn't any established precedent in the past for such a move, this will be the first time the Vice Presidency is vacant willingly. President McMurray has indicated he will present to parliament a list of potential successors to fill the vacancy immediately, with a strong possibility that there will be a special election held this fall for a permanent replacement. When asked to comment about the matter, Albano had this to say....

"I will be in the best position and capacity to serve my country this way, rather than remaining as your Vice President"

    Carpathian General Strike: Day 5

Sprague: Protests have ground Carpathia to a halt, with many saying the "Soviet" is no longer representing the wishes of the people. It comes in response to the news that the province attempted to assert its authority in a tentative unofficial recognition of the EUSR. The blow comes as the Carpathian Communist Party faces its lowest approval rating in history at only 27%, with the labor party surging in popularity with its more modest and fair handed approach.

"Orders for Carpathian goods and services have severely declined recently, and to no fault of the hard workers who give their occupations 100%. This is clearly politics, and the average citizen is sick of being caught in the middle."

Other residents shared similar grievances, with the common thread being a demand to dissolve the soviet and have new elections immediately. The general strike in the province is reaching day 5, with no hopes of letting up anytime soon. Signs in the central square of downtown Sprague read "Not All Carpathians", "Let it Be", "Help, My Government has been Hijacked", and "Workers of the World UNITE!"

A minority but vocal view is a call on the province to accept refugees from the Moukere crisis, even though the province is already densely populated and thinly stretched resource wise in providing essential services to the population. This view is strongly shared amongst educators, doctors, lawyers, and activists alike. There has been no word or comment officially from the government of Carpathia.

    TSA confirms Agent's Death

Coventry: The Travencian Security Agency has confirmed that one of its agents was among those killed in the fire fight that ensured during a terrorist raid in Jueverna. The person in question was assigned to infiltrate an undisclosed group with a dual mission of obtaining intelligence and feeding the group false information in order to prevent them from altering the course of the election via terror. As evident by the resulting violence, the plan had failed badly.

Unverified reports indicate the individual had previously been apart of a squad that was authorized to infiltrate SHOCK to determine whatever or not there were any connections of the group and the terrorist attack that occurred in Vancouvia. After nearly 75 days the mission was abruptly and suddenly aborted with agents reassigned according to specialty and need.

Our Boys Go Overseas- As Peacekeepers!
Aid Pledged to Athara Magarati Troops in Moukere

Naval Base Caranoor, Southern Ainslie; Carmo Airbase, Corindia- The sounds of Beach Chinook helicopters filled the air in the peaceful countryside towns of Caranoor and Carmo today as Veronite Air Service craft began the first stage of a deployment into Moukere. They grouped in Caranoor and stopped over in Carmo to refuel. They were escorted on their way by II Squadron of the 187th Air Wing of the Veronite Air Service. Their stated mission once in Moukere, as described by Minister of Armed Service Sada Mitsuharu, is "To protect the civilians of Moukere from potential genocide and other discriminatory actions... To establish temporary 'safe zones' around major urban centers to allow for a stable economy and infrastructure system to develop... To aid the relatively small Athara Magarati force of 500 in their goals which align closely with ours... And to set up a stabilizing environment so that, much later on, Moukere can develop a government of its own, led by it's own people."

Ever since reports of the genocide and deterioration of Moukere have reached Verona Beach, there has been severe public outcry and a demand to do something. The government attempted to reach out to the Cooperative Union to establish a joint peacekeeping force, but after seeing the slowness of the Union in discussing the topic and the gung-ho attitude of Athara Magarat, the Chief Minister proposed establishing an initial force of 1,500 to ship out to begin setting up operating centers to begin the implementations of these aforementioned goals. The Regulars' Assembly voted to approve the project, with a date of today to start the operation. The action, named "Operation Dove's Wings," is the largest foreign military action the Veronite military has undertaken since World War II.
