Kodiak: Alaskan Health Authority officials have confirmed a series of suspicious events that mimics some of the symptoms of an illness that had first surfaced in Nome last week. Like what happened in Nome, it seems to be clustered around people in a particular occupation and seems to be treatable if caught early enough. The only reported deaths have only occurred in those that refused medical treatment. So far no particular pathogen has been identified.
