Bhikkustan annexes Moukere

For over thirty years, Bhikkustan has provided aid to the nation of Moukere. We have stood by them, sending food, money and other supplies. Our soldiers have fought alongside theirs against terrorists and warlords. But after the militants of the Huyki tribe began a civil war that has killed thousands of people, the government found that they could no longer hold off the unrest. President Koto requested that Bhikkustan move in, and take the nation to stop the needless bloodshed. Bhikkustani troops and planes moved in, and destroyed key rebel positions. They marched down the streets in triumph.

Moukere shall now become part of Bhikkustan, as an autonomous region. They will be free to choose a governor, and will be defended by Bhikkustani police. We are proud of the work we shall do, and hope that this will help restore peace to this nation that has been so unsafe for its people.

The recent alliance announced between Tổ Quốc Đức and Bhikkustan is experiencing its consummation. The developing civil war in Moukere has led to Bhikkustani intervention and assumption of control over the troubled island, as Bhikkustani peacekeepers attempt to contain the Huyki tribal uprising and genocide. In response, and to demonstrate solidarity with their new allies, the government of Tổ Quốc Đức has announced that a battalion of soldiers from the Tổ Quốçi Army will be deployed to assist in containing the violence and bringing peace.

Officially designated as 'Operation Lotus', the Tổ Quốçi force of over a thousand men will assist in security and stability operations across Moukere, providing support to the Bhikkustani forces and police already stationed there. Lieutenant Colonel Lê Tấn Sang, commander of the battalion, said that, 'it is a great honor to be allowed to lead this first operation in the Western Isles on behalf of my country. One especially cannot think of a more worthy task than ending a brutal genocide and assisting in bringing peace and harmony back to the people of Moukere. The soldiers under my command shall perform this mission with kindness where possible, and firmness when necessary to secure that peace.'

While the initial operation against the Huyki rebels by Bhikkustani forces has seen the dispersal of many militia formations, these have simply retreated into the rugged outback. Lieutenant Colonel Sang followed up on this, stating that 'we will seek out these thugs and punish them if we must. We will endeavor to bring them to justice when possible. This sort of operation is a complicated affair, as we are facing not a foreign army but a group of people, and excessive force will have enormously negative consequences for the maintenance of security here in Moukere. We must act firmly of course, but also with tact and finesse to truly complete this mission, and I have every confidence that my men and our Bhikkustani partners can and will do exactly this.'

President Dương Văn Ngô issued a formal statement to the media on Operation Lotus, saying that it 'is a momentous moment for the Tổ Quốçi nation, to be valiantly supporting our ally while doing what is simply a good deed. There is much honor in peacekeeping, a role which I believe the Tổ Quốçi Army is not only ready to fulfill, but to execute with verve. Our ally has called upon us to give them aid, and we shall do exactly that. The people of Moukere deserve to live in peace without fear of harm from tribal conflict, and our men will do precisely that.'

Army Public Affairs statements have said that Operation Lotus will begin with the landing of Tổ Quốçi troops onto the coast of Moukere, from where they will move to and establish a presence in the island's capital, Moukere city. Once the capital is secured, along with Bhikkustani forces and Moukeri militia, Tổ Quốçi forces will press outwards securing the rural countryside from rebels and providing necessary aid. Once the Huyki rebellion has been suppressed, engineer and support units will replace the infantry battalion to provide aid and reconstruction.

A rebel ambush against Tổ Quốçi troops outside of Moukere city led to an intense six hour firefight which left four Tổ Quốçi soldier dead, and seven soldiers wounded. The 3rd battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade, the unit responsible for Operation Lotus, was moving towards the city to establish its main encampment when the advance company came under rocket fire. A rocket propelled grenade struck the lead vehicle, a six wheeled 'Peacekeeper' PRV, which killed one soldier and wounded two others. The rest of the soldiers inside exited safely and began returning fire under the direction of company commander Captain Hoàng Thi. The rebels, estimated to number in the hundreds, fired from positions several hundred yards away and were unable to cause any real harm to the Tổ Quốçi soldiers.

The rest of the battalion moved forward to relieve the forward company, and advanced against the rebels in an attempt to encircle them. The Huyki militia, undisciplined fighters, attempted to overwhelm the Tổ Quốçi forces with numbers, not realizing that the entire battalion was present. After several hours the rebels were pushed back, but not before inflicting several casualties on the Tổ Quốçis. The enemy dead has numbered in the dozens, and numerous prisoners have been taken. It is believed that these prisoners will enable the Tổ Quốçi peacekeepers to locate the main forces of the Huyki militia, and neutralize them before such a mass attack can be launched again.

Lieutenant Colonel Sang gave a statement after the end of the engagement, saying, 'it is a tragedy whenever a comrade is lost, and cause for deep introspection and mourning. However, this must wait until we have all returned home and can mourn together. Now we must keep our minds on the task at hand, bringing peace to Moukere and ending the Huyki uprising for good. I have instructed all subordinates to talk with one another to ensure that minds are focused on our mission.'

The bodies of the fallen soldiers will be flown back to Tổ Quốc Đức as soon as feasible, and the wounded requiring immediate medical care are currently being evacuated to military hospitals in Bhikkustan. Those who are not severely wounded may return to their units rapidly, while others once stabilized will be flown home to recuperate. The deaths of four Tổ Quốçi troops marks the first time which Tổ Quốçi soldiers have been killed outside of Tổ Quốc Đức in an expeditionary capacity. While Tổ Quốçi forces are occasionally attacked by the long standing communist 'National Liberation Front' insurgency, this is the first time which soldiers have been killed outside of the country.

Senior level officers of the Tổ Quốçi Army have stated that they believe to truly contain the Huyki insurgency through security and stability operations will take approximately six months. At this time, Operation Lotus and the deployment of the 3rd Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade is slated to last for that six months, after which, pending a review of progress by senior leadership, the battalion will be relieved by an engineering and medical detachment for reconstruction.

When Micheal Sanata was continuing his tour in The Empire of the Rising Cross he was shot dead fro "mentioning anti RC information.
The Doubi government say that this is complete and utter bollocks and they shot him because he was Doubi. Doubi has started doing such acts as burning RC flags but people in the RC also protested back. The reserve troops have been taken from Aspananza to do a "parade". While the RC soldiers were walking through the bushland. They were ambushed by a group of natives who massacred many of them. The cruel Rc troops were then put into jail cells and were paraded throughout Doubi while angry civilians chucked a variety of rotten fruit and dog excrement at them. Our brave Doubi soldiers have taken control of the Asananzian military bases and are aiming the missiles at RC in case of any suspicious activity.

I have been granted permission to have an exclusive interview with Sam Richards himself.

DP: What is your reasoning for these attacks?

SR: Those f**king Rising Cross b***hs have been being absolute dicks to us recently. They murdered our greatest singer and now they are going to pay for it. We've been pushed around by those sons of b***hs for too long. This is our time for action.

Navy Procures Aircraft Carriers

The Admiralty and Secretary of the Navy has today issued a public statement announcing the procurement of six aircraft carriers. A reversal of a long held Regencian navy policy that aircraft carriers were too expensive to maintain, the new carriers will be of the Juan Carlo I class, a light carrier designed for VTOL, or Vertical Takeoff and Landing. While much of the Western Isles region does indeed use aircraft carriers in their navies, the Regencian government has long flirted with the idea only to determine that operating costs would be too staggering for the economy to maintain them. Too much of the Navy's budget would be used simply to maintain the enormous power projection ships.

However, this all changed under the recent tenure of new Navy Secretary, reformer Edgar Maria Diminich. Mr. Diminich commissioned an investigatory task force of both naval officers and civilian security experts to evaluate the feasibility of procuring, maintaining, and putting to sea of a series of carriers. Also considered were what classes of carriers currently in existence would be of the most practical value to the already dominant Regencian Navy. After nearly a year of effort, the task force headed by Rear Admiral Sergio Lopez Moscoso determined that the Juan Carlos I class met the needs of the Regencian Navy while still being affordable to both procure and maintain at sea. While this 'light carrier' approach is not the most common in the region, the belief is that the overall strength of the navy is such that the relatively lighter power projection capabilities would be sufficient to give Regencia the boost of power necessary to maintain its position as supreme naval power in the region.

Mr. Diminich said of the issue, 'I came into this office believing in the supremacy of Regencia's navy, while harboring concern that in the near future this dominance could wane through challengers to our dominance. While the most likely challenger would be our staunch allies in Miklania, the nature of international politics is that today an ally could become tomorrow's foe, and we must be prepared to meet any and all eventualities. As such, procurement of carriers was of the highest priority to my administration in order to keep ahead in the naval arms race, and President Larrazábal agreed with my assessment, as did a number of civilian security experts.'

'If we want to keep ahead,' he continued, 'we needed to be able to put to sea vessels which can allow us to be competitive in naval combat, as well as provide the expeditionary warfare capability we currently lack.'

The result of this procurement, six initially, will be to reorganize the current strike groups around the carriers to make most effective use of them in Regencia's regional patrols. Rear Admiral Luis Enrique Carrara has been selected to oversea the procurement effort as well as selecting the captains who will take charge of these new vessels. His colleague Rear Admiral Antonio Ligorria has been assigned to begin creating a team which will create new naval doctrine incorporating the role these vessels will play. Extensive sea trials are expected to begin once procurement as been completed, but table war games evaluating a number of possible scenarios will be studied to begin developing theories and hypotheses on the subject until these can be confirmed with the sea trials.

Admiral Moscoso's task force also agreed that the Harrier II will be the carrier air wing's line fighter, which are expected to arrive around the time the carriers are delivered.

The days of The PPU prioritizing oil are coming to an end as Hydraulic Fracking continues to sweep the nation. It has now hit the Strolsk Islands where large amounts of natural gas have been found directly below New Theveste. This area now called The Jacqueline Shale, has become prime real estate for large energy companies such as Triton Co, and Energy Solutions. However, there is one issue; New Theveste covers a large portion of the area and in order for the shale to reach its full potential, the city residents must be "removed." This is where the "Strolsk Removal Act" comes into play. Originally the Jacqueline Shale was to be left alone as it was not worth the effort when only a small portion was available. A new bill called the Strolsk removal act might change that, it has passed the First and Second Estate and it now awaits President Antoinette Approval. If enacted, 200,000 Jagellionians will be forcibly removed from their homes in New Theveste. Yes, while technically citizens of the PPU, over 90% of the Strolsk population consider themselves Jagellionian, and the majority of Pacificers (mostly in Versailles) do not want them to be given citizenship.

An odd choice for people originating from a nation that is known as an enemy to nature, however many are taking part to loose weight and to promote peace and prosperity within the PPU. So far all of the followers have clustered near Rivíere, and since no Temples and Monasteries are available, followers have opened up their homes to the public as a place of worship.

The Northwest Accords Space Administration (NASA) has begun their new project simply called "Orbit." It will consist of a seven-person team made up of experimenters and experimentees. The team will be sent into orbit for a period of 6 months where tests will be performed on 4 of the 7 team members. The shuttle's expected launch has yet to be dated but we should not expect it anytime soon.

Following the addition of Donné to the PPU, the First Estate has officialy redrawn the provincial borders. Wanting to give a more organized feel, the borders have become geometric instead of the physical boundries that were used prior. Additionally, Recolté has become Paix making Paix larger. However the province of Versailles has been re named to Vioraux, and it has grown and taken some of Paix's territory. The islands, which were once apart of Paix have finally been granted their own province. The new map can be found below:

Bonodian Dissidents Executed En Masse

Disturbing and brutal footage has been released on the website LiveLeak of a Bonodian government sanctioned mass execution of political prisoners. In the continuing political repression that has been ongoing since the Communist Party of Bonodia took power in 2015, the large scale 'massacre', as this execution has been referred to, stands out as the most brutal example of Bonodian communist hegemony. Commentators have globally condemned the actions as 'depraved' and 'utterly deplorable',

The grainy video, shot on a early generation smart phone, shows somewhere between 100 and 250 political prisoners, dressed in blue prisoner jumpsuits, being systematically executed by officers of the Bonodian People's Revolutionary Army, as well as several prisoners being dismembered by machete wielding soldiers. The video, lasting for 23 minutes, was smuggled out of the country by a growing group of revolutionaries under the banner of the 'Anti-Stalinist Front', which also consists of the remainder of the Trotskyist wing of the Communist Party of Bonodia until purges removed them in 2014.

Scholars and leaders from both sides of politics worldwide have condemned the killings. "It is completely reprehensible, the actions of this government" stated Arthur Gamet, a representative for the Boulovorian Confederation of Labour. "History will not remember the communists well if they continue in their brutal fashion." Other leaders have declared unilateral sanctions against the country. "This violence shows the danger and effects of communist dictatorships, and we must fight it!' declared Harry McNickol, president of the Republic of Gannetland.

It is yet to be seen how the regional community, particularly those in The Western Isles will react to the violence. Bonodia is currently at a time where they seek more international cooperation and trade relationships, so the effects could be considerable.

In wake of the attacks on Camtholia and Polar Svalbard, and the recent aerial incident over the Kavju Sea, Congress has voted to declare war on the nations of New Aapelistan, Eurania, and Cottoria. This declaration follows the Svalbardian declaration of war. Currently no other nations have formally declared war on one another, but reports suggest that there are active hostilities on many fronts. Terrorist Attack on Capitol Building

There are 14 reported deaths and many dozens injured tonight after two cars rammed the front and rear of the capitol building at virtually the same time, setting off bombs located in the cars upon impact. The I.D. leadership was meeting inside at the time of the attack, but none of them reported any injuries. Police and paramedics, assisted by Vancouvian National Army elements located close by, arrived within minutes to assess the situation and tend to the injured. Police recovered two bodies, one in each of the detonated cars, but are unsure of whether there were any accomplices in these devastating attacks.

"This was a coordinated and ruthless attack on our soil," said Jennifer Markely, a member of the Council. "We will not stand for this cowardice. Rest assured, we will find the perpetrators of this horrendous crime, and we will bring them to justice."

This attack comes as a complete shock after months of relative calm in the International District. The Vancouvian Congress will reportedly conduct a conference with the I.D. leadership tomorrow morning on what can and should be done to prevent future violence.

Protest at Federal Plaza

Protesters today marched across all of British Samua to the Federal Plaza, to protest the institution of mandatory donation of organs. The new law passed by the parliament in a 129-132 vote on Friday institutes a new database to collect records on citizen's organs. The intent is to ensure that if any citizens are in need of organ donations, there will be no problem in finding them an organ.

One naked protester who was leading a large section of the crowd said, "You know this is a big problem! If our government is to know all of this about our bodies, next thing you know they will be designing guns just to kill us. I hope Prime Minister David Gorge will join us in our opposition to this new database."

We requested a comment from the prime minister and received back the following comment, "We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy of all citizens and we will look into the issues raised by the protestors before taking any action."

But Rattona's Government spend only 1% from National budgets for Rattona dairy industries and farms. It's very small!

So, what must increased dairy industry in Rattona ?
Because, we have many dairy farmers.
It's simple to increase this industry. The government must increase Budget for dairy farm. I think 5% that good. Also Rattona must open trades with The Western Isles nations. It will be helped increase dairy industry in Rattona.

Riots over assassinated singer in Aspananza

"The Doubish citizens have gone crazy" Says Benny Samsa A resident of The Empire of the Rising Cross. Recent reports from our military bases in Aspananza have seen Doubish citizens burning flags and chanting such words as "Empire get out, until you do we will shout."

They have also blocked access to our bases with bonfires and roadblocks, several citizen who were protesting against the death of Micheal Sanata have been arrested. The doubish government has demanded we release these people but we refused to co operate until they make their populous stop blocking our military actions.

Liberation Reaches South Bonodia!

This article was penned for Resist by several members of the Bonodian Anti-Stalinist Front, a group of communists and socialist opposed to the oppressive policies of their faux-socialist government.

Early this morning, Anti-Stalinist Front troops marched into the Yugono regional capital, the town of Al-Lopotoiya. The troops were met with resounding cheers by the population, many of them members of the oppressed southern Bonodian minority group, the Khoisan. Comrade Uguntay Polo-polo marched his troops to the doors of the local Communist Party headquarters, and accepted the surrender of the Stalinist bureaucrats.

This victory had been hard fought. Ever since the purges of January, the FAS has been fighting to depose the Stalinist and oppressive government and replace it with a truly socialistic state with real compassion for the people and workers of Bonodia. What started as a rag-tag group of ill-equiped fighters in the high southern mountains has evolved into a small, but efficient, guerrilla force, which is ever expanding with the support of the Bonodian peoples.

The operation to take Al-Lopotoiya had been in the planning since the establishment of the front. A urban base, located in the group's heartland was understood to be an imperative. The city has traditionally resisted central power, all the way back to hunger strikes and self-sacrificial defence in the colonial era. Revolutionary blood and fervour runs though the town's streets, its veins. Upon its taking, the FAS toured the town, bringing relief to the residents and re-kindling their culture of resistance.

The FAS will continue to fight the degenerate workers' state that has been established by the deviationist, even reactionary Communist Party of Bonodia, on the behalf of the Bonodian people and world socialist revolution. Workers of the World, Unite!

New legislation Passed

Today the 14/03/2016 both the Senate and the Kings council unanimously passed new legislation in relation to the Royal Armed Forces. Under previous legislation the nations military where not allowed to be deployed outside of the nation and where only to be used for the national defence of Milnerthsa. The new legislation however has now changed this stipulation.

The new legislation states that the Royal Armed Forces may be deployed anywhere deemed necessary by the Royal Government and His Majesty the King, Lt. Col Thomson from the Department of Defence Press office spoke to the Times.

"Many people have gotten the wrong impression about the change in legislation, many are viewing it as a move toward aggressive foreign policy this is not the case. After a long period of consideration and deliberation the Royal Government has enacted this legislation in order for the Kingdom to play an active role in the international community such as training exercises and mutual co- operation. The primary objective of this change is to allow the Royal Armed Forces participate in multi national humanitarian relief efforts as well as peacekeeping operations."

The legislation also stipulates that only members of the full time military can be deployed outside of the state and has an absolute ban on conscripts being involved.

The move has been greeted positively on the streets of the nation although there is a degree of skepticism which one feels will only disappear once the Kingdoms Armed forces are used in this new role.

Today, at 9.24 in the morning, the worst smog in history of New Aapelistan occurs in Kavjaku, the most industiralized city in NA. The smog started forming in the night due to exeptially rare slow winds and covered the city for the entire day, until the winds got faster and blew the smog away from the city.

The People's Congress announced today that they are planning to introduce a new enviromental law, that hopefully helps the pollution problem in the area's of Kavjaku.

Micheal Sanata Shot Dead

When Micheal Sanata was continuing his tour in The Empire of the Rising Cross he was shot dead fro "mentioning anti RC information.
The Doubi government say that this is complete and utter bollocks and they shot him because he was Doubi. Doubi has started doing such acts as burning RC flags but people in the RC also protested back. The reserve troops have been taken from Aspananza to do a "parade". While the RC soldiers were walking through the bushland. They were ambushed by a group of natives who massacred many of them. The cruel Rc troops were then put into jail cells and were paraded throughout Doubi while angry civilians chucked a variety of rotten fruit and dog excrement at them. Our brave Doubi soldiers have taken control of the Asananzian military bases and are aiming the missiles at RC in case of any suspicious activity.

I have been granted permission to have an exclusive interview with Sam Richards himself.

DP: What is your reasoning for these attacks?

SR: Those f**king Rising Cross b***hs have been being absolute dicks to us recently. They murdered our greatest singer and now they are going to pay for it. We've been pushed around by those sons of b***hs for too long. This is our time for action.

DP: Okay, now, how do you intend to do this?

SR: Those mother f**kers rely on us for much of their food so screw that trade agreement. They're going to be paying heaps for any food from us.

DP: Is that you?

SR: Yeah, it's my phone. Oh look, it's that son of a b***h Pagan.

Riots over assassinated singer in Aspananza

"The Doubish citizens have gone crazy" Says Benny Samsa A resident of The Empire of the Rising Cross. Recent reports from our military bases in Aspananza have seen Doubish citizens burning flags and chanting such words as "Empire get out, until you do we will shout."

They have also blocked access to our bases with bonfires and roadblocks, several citizen who were protesting against the death of Micheal Sanata have been arrested. The doubish government has demanded we release these people but we refused to co operate until they make their populous stop blocking our military actions.

NR: so how do you feel about the actions of the Aspananzain crisis as we are calling it.

PM: I wish I could personally strangle that son of a motherf*****g b***h Sam Richards

NR: what actions will you be taking to stop this protesting?

PM: We have several squads ready to deploy and neutralise the riots if necessary

NR: Will there be any involvement by the military?

PM: Yes if things continue to go as they are now there are plans for bombing in Kiwi and terror funding to strike them if they don't fix there

NR: So you are planning shootings and suicide bombings?

PM: Yes, that coward Sam Richards has been ruling long enough there citizens will fall like flies if I say the word.

NR: What about your views on the attacks of several soldiers patroling in Doubi

Travel Ban to Mitjevalia!

After Mitjevalia's closure of it's airspace for Aapelstanian and Euranian planes, New Aapelistanian government has closed all travel to Mitjevalia and closed any possiblity for trade between New Aapelistan and Mitjevalia, a country that is now deemed hostile again the Aapelistanian people and their government.

This case has shown that even "neutral" countries are supporting the MSTO nations, either directly or indirectly. Ministery of Defence announced that if Mitjevalians support MSTO more with ways like this, it is possible that the New Aapelistanian Navy will destroy Mitjevalian ships when necessary.

Pagan takes responsibility for shootings

Today 14 Rising Cross Marines were deployed to commit a mass shooting in Doubi's capital Kiwi

The shooting occurred at 2.47 PM Doubi time and involved 173 (169 of them were killed) civilians and 6 important diplomatic personal belonging to Sam Richards political party (all 6 killed).

Also the same shooter approached the Doubi parliament and detonated suicide bombs killing another 35 civilians and 18 political members.

We have a report of the shooting from one of the survivors.

NR: So what happened today sir

SS: Well the soldiers just walked up and attended the political meeting in the plaza and then almost randomly pulled out assault rifles and began firing, They had a gunman on the platform where the speakers were, so they died pretty much instantly. Then it was a mess of bullets flying and people dying around me. I hid under some one that fell on me after being shot.

NR: Do you think this will happen again?

SS: I can see it happening but not likely, no not very likely.

NR: Well guess, what your wrong. *Detonates Suicide bomb and kill all reporters and medical personal around him*

Prime Minister Accepts Petition to Reverse Organ Law

Today, David Gorge held a press conference from the Ministerial Office and Residence. At the press conference, he stood with Jean Pier, an activist who led the gathering of signatures and was responsible for starting the petition. He said to the assembled press, "Today, is a historic day. The people of United Great Britian have risen up and opposed a tyrannical law through non-violent means. I hope that this will set a cultural precedent for the future. When our children and other future people of United Great Britian see tyranny in the government, I hope they will look back upon this day and think, we too can oppose tyranny without ever picking up a gun, we too can oppose tyranny only with the strokes of a pen! Thank you and good night!" David Gorge then exited the room with Jean Pier.

After this press conference, I vote of no confidence was called on the parliament floor against David Gorge. He barely held onto the seat with a vote of 29-28. However, it is unclear how a vote would go if the full parliament were assembled. It appears that the vote of no confidence was politically fueled by David Gorge's description of the bill as tyranny. However, if David Gorge is ousted by parliament, the general sentiment of the public may cause many parliamentary head to roll.

More military deploying in Aspananza

Just moments ago 15 thousand Marines reserves and 62 thousand military police touched down in Aspananza prepared to puss back the protesters getting increasingly more violent. There have already been reports of the deaths of 28 Rising Cross Soldiers in riot battles. One aircraft carrier and several battleships are on duty off the coast of Aspananza bombarding the violent protesters. So far 3673 protesters have been taken prisoner and are being held hostage in several town that we have seized control of, they will be released as soon as Doubi stops encouraging rioters to fight and stand up for themselves. It is not being classified as a war yet but as a terror threat to our nation.

Travel cut between Doubi and The Empire of the Rising Cross

In other news, so far we have caught 87 Doubish insurgents trying to make there way into The Empire of the Rising Cross. They are also being detained for now. As of this moment any travel between The Empire of the Rising Cross and Doubi is being cut for the safety of the nations. This includes all booked flights.
