Good evening, fellow citizens and audiences. We invite you to celebrate together with us the birthday of Throngist Cane Islo’s Official News Network – the Throngist Broadcasting System or TBS. From now on this is where you will be able to join us in finding all 24/7 news from across Throngist Cane Islo and maybe even the rest of the Isles.

We celebrate our network’s birthday and first broadcast on the fourth and final day of the Fourth Congress of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva – May 3rd. This was not only the central event for the Party and the People, but it was also where the official start and launch of our network’s broadcast was declared. Representatives of the Association of Journalists of the Throngist Republic of Lesva, who were invited by the Party to helm the creation of our network and the launch of our first broadcast today, were asked by First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva, the Honorable Teca Viltin, to take the stage and speak before the Congress.

Taking turns to speak before the Congress, the final address was carried out by the Association as a collective, in true Throngist nature. It was in this final collective address to the Congress that the Association of Journalists of the Throngist Republic of Lesva announced the launch of our network today on May 3rd, which was greeted with applause from First Secretary Teca Viltin and the rest of the Party.

Marshal Iuna Scadi visits the vessel of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy

Supreme Commander and Commander-in-Chief of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army, Marshal Iuna Scadi, visits the vessel of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy, from where the National Leader also observed Cane Islo through binoculars

Marshal Iuna Scadi has travelled to the south of the Lesvan State, where Military Officers of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army took the Supreme Commander and Commander-in-Chief of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army to visit the small fleet of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy patrolling to the north of the Throngist-held Cane Islo. Marshal Iuna Scadi came aboard one of the vessels, where the Marshal met and spent time with the crew. The Overseer of the Revolution was also given a tour of the vessel and then, in the latter parts of the visit onboard, the Marshal was provided with binoculars. The Supreme Commander and Commander-in-Chief looked at the direction of the Throngist-captured Cane Islo, where the old fascist regime held control over the Lesvan State’s sole island, trying to secure remnants of its’ dead tyranny and prevent a portion of our fellow Lesvan compatriots from joining the life under the Revolution enjoyed by those on the mainland, where the Throngists were chased out of. Marshal Iuna Scadi stated that today the Lesvan State lives in peace and that there no plans to begin an unprovoked military advance against Throngists on Cane Islo first. However, the Marshal also vowed that fellow Lesvans left on Cane Islo would be liberated soon enough. The Marshal asked the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy Officers to assist any possible boats or ships of fellow Lesvans that might be fleeing the Throngist-captured Cane Islo towards the mainland by providing them with aid first, but also checking whether they are not Throngist spies disguising as refugees.

This is first provincial election in Wangano with the next two being both Nanchuna and Southern Island later on this year but in July it will be the Prime Minister election. Fourth and Final Day of the Fourth Party Congress: Party announces amendments to the Basic Statute of the Throngist Republic of Lesva, adding the All-Lesvan Throngist Congress as the upper house chamber of the legislature

We continue our broadcast covering the Fourth Congress of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva in Paita Sudi, the capital of Throngist Cane Islo. As the Fourth Congress is closing out, the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva has announced one more new development. First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva, the Honorable Teca Viltin, has voiced the Fourth Congress’ decision, following in-Party negotiations, to amend the Basic Statute of the Throngist Republic of Lesva and change the Throngist legislature from the unicameral to a bicameral one, as well as add elections to the Basic Statute as a new legal norm and annual procedure.

The reformist faction’s proposed amendment to the Basic Statute, which the Fourth Congress has agreed to add, would reform legislature from a unicameral one to a bicameral one by creating two legislative chambers. In addition to the Supreme National Carto of the Throngist Republic of Lesva, the All-Lesvan Throngist Congress would be added as a new chamber of the legislature. According to the amended Basic Statute, the All-Lesvan Throngist Congress would become the upper house chamber of the legislature, while the Supreme National Carto would become the lower house of the legislature. While trying to remain unbiased and impartial, First Secretary Teca Viltin voiced personal happiness about the grand reform of newly amending the Basic Statute being agreed on by the Party. The First Secretary expressed that the amendments can be added on a level, where they do not overhaul the current Basic Statute to the level, where they would require for a whole new Basic Statute to be adopted as a replacement for the current one that has existed since the founding of the Throngist Republic of Lesva in the aftermath of the Saela Spring. First Secretary Teca Viltin also said that changing the Basic Statute is not being put up to a public plebiscite, because elections so far is the only voting procedure by citizens that the Party has agreed to accept as the new norm.

The amendments to the Basic Statute, especially the one about switching from unicameral to bicameral legislature, would come into effect after the Third All-Lesvan Throngist Congress is held, after which it would transition from a gathering of Party Members and Throngist Organization Members to a legislative chamber.

Lesvan State holds Military Parade in Saela

Marshal Iuna Scadi, Secretary General of the Central Social Carto, the Overseer of the Revolution, Supreme Commander of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army and the National Leader, has opened the First Parade of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army in Revolutionary Lesvan State’s National Capital Saela. The Military Parade is the first grand event in Saela dedicated to what birthed the current incarnation of our Lesvan nation and that is our Revolution that brought to reality the people’s power of our direct social democracy. The Military Parade gathers citizens from all across the Lesvan State, including residents of Saela and guests of the capital from other cities, to observe Soldier Marches followed by a display of military equipment of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Ground Force, non-sea-based tech of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy, aircraft of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Air Force flying above, as well as Revolutionary Militia and Territorial Troops Militia joining. In the evening, when the sun sets, the Military Parade will be closed out with a fireworks show. In the opening speech of the Parade, Marshal Iuna Scadi stated that this event proves that the Revolution needs to be celebrated spontaneously and every day, not just on the occasions or during anniversaries.

WIDA Tests its New Hypersonic Weapon

Today at around 4pm local time a Spokesperson for the Doman Army announced during a press conference that members of the Western Isles Democratic Alliance (WIDA) just witnessed the latest successful test of the Stand Off Denial System. This marks the 3rd successful live fire test of the new system, which has been a cooperative effort between WIDA members, marking a historic achievement for the young alliance.

The Stand off Denial System (SODS) is a project that has been underway since 2017. The first version of the missile entered service in 2020. It consisted of a short range (300km) boost glide system that could target ships or land targets. However this system was meant as a short range option as part of local defenses. Block II began development in 2021, based off successful designs in the Common Hypersonic Weapon Program, and experienced its first live test in 2023. The system uses a conventional rocket booster to propel a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) to speeds greater than mach 6 before maneuvering towards its target. The Block II SODS reportedly has a range of 3,000km, allowing its users to defend its interests from a great range.

Following multiple successful tests, including 3 live fire tests since the start of 2024, the members of WIDA have announced that the missile will be ready for service. At around $40 million per missile, the missiles are said to enter limited production later this month, with full production expected by september/august.

Athletic Lezen Wins the 23/24 Wanganoan Premier League season making it the their seventh Wangano Premier League title.


With the Wanganoan Premier League over now after a four way title race at the end with Athletic Lezen winning by just two points.



Second place Deldelore Pirates was on top for most of the season however fell down after Matchweek 27 after losing two matches to Barita United and Malu Rock. Deldelore Pirates have now missed three titles in a row tying them with Barita United who were dominant in the 2000s.


Third place Lezen United who were the winners of the 22/23 season. They spent a lot of money in the January transfer window however fell short by just five points. However this will be the last season for both Peter Jo Hing and Adam Mendoza before both of them move play for clubs internationally.


Finally we have Pheng Eagles that started their season of poorly losing 5 of their first ten matches and falling to 10th place with it being a good comeback.

We also should give credit to Bukit Samor who finished 11th in the previous season. This season Bukit Samor finished 7th place. This wasn’t their best finish as they finished 2nd place in the 2005/06 season only behind Athletic Lezen.

Another team that did well at the end was Unis United who finished 10th this season after falling down to 14th place last season.

After Athletic Lezen beat Leddervile 2-1 at home they were seven time champions. Athletic Lezen is the first team to win the Wanganoan Premier League 7 times. Athletic Lezen won their first ever Wangano Premier League title in 1998/99 they were also one of to teams to go back to back in the 2007/08 and 2008/09 Seasons. Athletic Lezen Players and Staff were then handed out gold medals before Jouna Dai Xinga would lift the Wanganoan Premier League trophy. This was a big moment for Athletic Lezen fans as they were not only team to have seven but having more titles than their rivals Lezen United who have the second most titles in the Wanganoan Premier League with six.

First Secretary Teca Viltin outlines the concept of Throngist-oriented market economy before a hardliner-aspired transition into barter and gift economy

First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva, the Honorable Teca Viltin, has outlined the economic model of the Throngist Republic of Lesva on Cane Islo, which our island would function under, while the in-Party debate about the proper economic model for our country continues. As hardliners and moderates continue to promote the transition towards a barter and gift economy, which comes in line with the Throngist vision of a proper economic model in contrast to market or planned economy, the reformists led by First Secretary Teca Viltin are meeting the hardliners and moderates half-way, while simultaneously promoting an alternative economic model for the time being. First Secretary Teca Viltin suggested that under the reform program of Dignified and Humane Throngism, Cane Islo should function under what the First Secretary described as Throngist-oriented market economy, which would be of the same category as the leading economies of the Isles, while having a Throngist ideological character to it. In other words, the economy would be a market economy, but would function under Throngist societal principles of social and community well-being over material greed.

Revolutionary Army Navy holds exercise near Cane islo

Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy holds military exercise near the Throngist-controlled Cane Islo

In addition to the Parade of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army that residents of National Capital Saela and visitors from other cities of the Lesvan State experienced, the Lesvan Revolutionary Army continues to demonstrate its' triumphant strength and readiness to take on any threat through other occasions. Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy is holding a military exercise in the waters between Lesvan State's mainland and the Throngist-controlled Cane Islo. The small fleet of vessels is holding the drill specifically close to Cane Islo to send a message that the Throngists will not be permitted to tear the island away from the Lesvan State and that not a single inch of more Lesvan land will fall under the control of Throngists or any other domestic or external aggressive force seeking to impose its' will onto Lesvan people. Amidst the military exercise, Marshal Iuna Scadi suggested that the Lesvan State should offer the Balniki Federation, an ally, strategic partner, fellow member state of the Eastern Tripartite and a fellow state of the United Federation of Gael to hold joint military exercises soon to remind potential foreign adversaries that the friendship, alliance and unity remains between Saela and Rustov in the eyes of threats.

First Secretary Teca Viltin announces freedom of speech and independence of the media on Cane Islo, which the reformist faction promised to introduce in case of victory in Throngist elections, but decided to adopt early

Good evening, fellow citizens. The Throngist Movement Party of Lesva currently led by the reformist faction, which itself is led by First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva, the Honorable Teca Viltin, has decided to adopt the policies, which the reformists have promised to introduce in case of their victory in the upcoming Throngist elections. A decision was made to adopt these policies early, instead of aiming for votes in exchange for the adoption of these policies. Speaking before Party Members, First Secretary Teca Viltin has announced that freedom of speech and independence of the media would be introduced in the Throngist Republic of Lesva here on Cane Islo. The Throngist government would no longer repress differing opinions or impose censorship, while allowing for independent media to appear alongside the Throngist Broadcasting System, the main media network on Cane Islo. The news was met with applause from reformists, restrained reactions from hardliners and divided opinions from moderates. First Secretary Teca Viltin named the freedom of speech and independence of the media as part of the Dignified and Humane Throngism reform program and stated that amid military pressure from the Scadi regime on the mainland, which is currently holding naval exercises near Cane Islo for the sake of intimidation, residents of Cane Islo will be personally interested in defending the liberty that is developing on Cane Islo against hostile armed aggression. But the First Secretary clarified these policies were genuine and not aimed at manipulating Cane Islo's residents into simply joining the fight.

Throngists on Cane Islo continue experimenting with democracy, as the Scadi regime on mainland Lesva continues to threaten the island and holding drills nearby

Throngist Movement Party of Lesva continues experimenting with democracy under the Party's reformist leadership, having gone the furthest so far with the unprecedented changes, to the dismay of their own hardliner faction and a mixed stance of the moderate faction.

Recently, around the same time as the Fourth Party Congress, reformist First Secretary Teca Viltin announced that the reformist faction leading the Party will advocate for a Throngist-oriented market economy, while conceding to the hardliners primarily and the moderates in part that the Throngist-controlled Cane Islo would continue a transition towards a Throngist economic model, which is barter economy first and a gift economy in the long-run, because the Throngist ideology declares to pursue a Third Way economic model instead of market or planned economy. The reformists have introduced a market economy under Throngist socially-oriented and strictly anti-greed principals.

Yesterday, the reformist faction had seemingly gone the furthest so far with changes. While First Secretary Teca Viltin earlier announced the relaxation of censorship and freedom of information, yesterday the reformist Party First Secretary announced outright introduction of freedom of speech and independence of the media. Alternative viewpoints will be openly accepted for the first time in Throngist history, while alternative and independent media resources not in control of the Party or the Throngist government would be tolerated. This is the biggest leap so far, because the reformists promised to introduce freedom of speech and independence of the media in their ongoing campaign for the upcoming first ever Throngist elections. The introduction of these policies early by Viltin has taken away major "trump cards" that they possessed against hardliner and moderate competitors in the ongoing campaign. However, experts perceive the move as one that may have been forced early by the situation.

Despite denying such plans, the Scadi regime in the Lesvan mainland is clearly preparing to retake Cane Islo by force. Scadi's Revolutionary Army Navy is in the middle of a naval exercise near Cane Islo to deliberately intimidate the Throngists in control of the island. Viltin originally argued that radical reforms in favor of liberalization and democratization were begun to learn from past mistakes when people lost faith in Throngism and allowed it to fall in the mainland so easily. According to Viltin, changes for the better will make people want to defend Cane Islo under liberalized and reformed Throngism from Scadi's dictatorship's aggression. Further down that same line and with the same argument, Viltin stated yesterday that freedom of speech will be one of the necessary changes that will make the inhabitants of Cane Islo want to defend their newly found liberty on Cane Islo against an attack or invasion from the Scadi dictatorship wishing to take Cane Islo and its' residents under the Scadi regime's control.

Military offers the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva to peacefully transfer power on Cane Islo to the armed forces amid a looming invasion threat from Scadi's mainland Lesva

Lesvan Throngist Armed Forces have entered Paita Sudi, the de facto capital of Cane Islo, amid an ongoing naval exercise nearby Cane Islo by the forces of the regime on the Lesvan mainland. The military arrived in Paita Sudi to build up the city's territorial defense in preparation to hold off potential aggression by the mainland-controlling Scadi regime, however, that is not the only reason the armed forces have come to Paita Sudi.

Despite reforms of liberalization and democratization taking place on Cane Islo under the reform program of Dignified and Humane Throngism, a combination of hope, but also worry and anxiety is in the air, as the residents of Cane Islo feel an invasion from the mainland is indeed looming. Despite declaring that it does not have plans to retake Cane Islo by force, the Scadi regime in Saela is only verbally declaring this in public to lay down the victim's guard, while the actions speak louder than words and an invasion is clearly under preparation. It is clear the Scadi regime will not allow Cane Islo to peacefully live separately without being under Scadi's regime like the rest of Lesva, except for the part of Acean under Nationalist Socialist and Balniki occupation. The residents of Cane Islo are worrying, but simultaneously preparing to fight off the invasion, if it happens.

Apart from building up Paita Sudi's defense, the other task by the military in the capital is to hold talks with the government of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva. Chief of the General Staff of the Lesvan Throngist Armed Forces, the Honorable Major General Belo Motar, did not come in person, but was instead convinced by his younger deputy to allow the so-called "Independent Officers Front", a reform-oriented and reform-supporting faction of the Lesvan Throngist Armed Forces, to come to Paita Sudi on behalf of the military and hold talks with the Throngist government. The "Independent Officers Front" is led by the aformentioned younger deputy of Major General Belo Motar.

Represented by the so-called "Independent Officers Front", the armed forces have offered First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva, the Honorable Teca Viltin, and the government of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva to peacefully transfer power to the military, as the armed forces have constructively criticized the Party and its' government of being unable to lead Cane Islo's defense against the looming invasion and aggression from the mainland.

Revolutionary Army Air Force flies over and near Cane Islo, as Revolutionary Army Navy resumes exercise

While the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy continues military exercise near the Throngist-controlled Cane Islo on a maritime level, the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Air Force flies over and near Cane Islo

As the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy continues the military exercise near the Throngist-held Cane Islo, the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Air Force had several fighter and bomber jets, in addition to jets with radar jamming, fly near and over the Throngist-held Cane Islo. The aircraft reaffirmed the Lesvan State's sovereignty over the airspace above the mainland and Cane Islo as part of the Lesvan State. Nevertheless, there was a risk that the Throngists had anti-air systems in possession, thus the Revolutionary Army Air Force and the brave pilots risked lives and safety to affirm the integrity of Lesvan lands, the sovereignty over Cane Islo and send a message to compatriots on Cane Islo under Throngist siege. The Revolutionary Army Air Force also demonstrated unity with the Revolutionary Army Navy below, in case Throngist forces decide to attack vessels in the middle of a military exercise.

Cooperatives, Greens and Centre Dems agree to coalition government.

The Cooperative, Green and Centre Democratic Parties is being informally called the Green-Orange-Gold pact, or G-O-G Pact for short.

The Cooperative Party has successfully negotiated an agreement to secure the support of the Green and Centre Democrat Party in Parliament. This move comes following last week’s shock election results, which saw the Cooperative Party lose 87 MPs and with it, their parliamentary majority. The agreement will see a number of MPs from the two smaller parties appointed to the cabinet, as well as promises to introduce policies relaxing immigration controls and supporting investment in green energy. However, with the alliance only bringing together 185 MPs (only four more than is needed for a majority), many question the alliance’s longevity.

Party leaders Jaeō Aōha, Raāfí Máilles, and Grace Bly of the Cooperative, Centre Democrats, and Green Party along with a select number of aides and party officials met each other in a secretive meeting at the Gwayne Ba Barōssa hotel where they hashed out the details of their alliance. What they created is a document in which the Centre Democrats and the Greens formally agree to support the Cooperatives in parliament in exchange for promises of cabinet appointments and policy commitments. Although the pact is formally called the Wolfeld Suite Agreement (named after the room where they negotiated), commentators are already referring to it as the Green-Orange-Gold pact (named after the colours of the Green, Cooperative, and the Centre Democrats respectively) or G-O-G pact.

The 15 offices of the cabinet have been divided equally between the three parties despite their obvious disparities in parliamentary numbers. The Cooperative Party will maintain the current ministers in the Ministries of Law and Justice, National Finances, International Affairs, Armed Forces, and National Bureaucracy. The Centre Democrats have been promised appointments to the Ministries of Development (which includes the Housing and Transportation portfolios), Public Health, Education, Society, and Trade. The Greens, meanwhile, will occupy the Ministries of Environment, Energy and National Resources, Science and Technology, National Minorities and Equality, and the Ministry of Culture and Diaspora.

The Wolfeld Suite Agreement also outlines the legislative agenda for the coalition and highlights three policies in particular that will define the upcoming parliamentary session: Relaxing Immigration Controls, Green Energy investment, and Local Rural Government Reform.

The proposal to relax immigration controls will almost certainly be the most controversial item on the parliamentary agenda and is definitely a demand of the Centre Democrats who have long pushed this issue. The Wolfeld Suite Agreement states that parliament will reduce barriers to allowing foreigners to work in the Tsunterlands. If successful, this could lead to a massive shift in Tsunter society, which has long rejected using migrant labour to plug its workforce shortfalls in exchange for relying on automation. Beyond that, this proposal could also mark the end of the Progressive Consensus between the major parties, which has always been critical of migration.

As could be expected, the Wolfeld Suite Agreement’s Green Energy Investment plan is almost certainly the work of the Green Party. The plan outlined proposes using government subsidies to create a green energy industry that could provide for the Tsunterlands' energy needs. It’s a bold and expensive plan for a country that has long relied on importing oil and gas to keep the lights on but one that might hold the promise of placing the Tsunterlands on the path to securing its energy independence at last.

The final major policy commitment is the proposed reform of local government in rural areas. This comes directly from the Cooperative Party’s manifesto and reflects their long-held grievance that rural regions of the Tsunterlands still remain under the sway of clan captains, which they view as being more sympathetic to their main rivals, the Romantic Party. Their proposal would see the creation of twenty-five elected “Regional Councils,” which would have significant power over the distribution of local government funds and the approval of local building projects. While this policy won’t likely draw as much public attention as other policies, it will certainly be viewed as a direct threat to the power of Tsunter clans and the Romantic party. Expect to see some bloody parliamentary battles fought over this issue.

Opposition parties have naturally criticised the new coalition. The Romantic Party has highlighted the extremely small majority in parliament the three governing parties possess, calling it a “coalition of crisis.” The Maurican Rights Party, meanwhile, has expressed dismay that they, the previous partners of the Cooperative Party, were not included in negotiations, stating that they are still the definitive voice of the Maurican people in the country, which now has a government leaving the people “voiceless.” The National Democrats and Change 4 Liberty have attacked the policy commitments of the agreement, with the former claiming the promise to relax immigration will lead to the Tsunter people becoming an ethnic minority within 5 years, whilst the latter have suggested that the proposed Green Energy Investment plan and Local Government Reform will lead to Tsunters quickly being overtaxed and facing a cost-of-living crisis.

Jogja Election Committee opens registration of parties participating in the general election which will be held immediately on Dulkangidah 24th, 1957 (based on the Jogja calendar system) or on June 1st, 2024. Registration time is open for a week starting today until the next 7 days. reported directly from the election committee office, throughout the day not a single representative from political parties had come to register. Elections in Jogja take place every 5 years based on law. Elections are held to compete for the majority of parliamentary seats for three political parties, where the majority party in parliament has the right to form a government loyal to the Emperor.

Due to Jogja's unique government system, where the Lord Chancellor as head of government shares duties with the Emperor in both domestic and foreign affairs. This system is almost similar to the one implemented by Morocco. The flag is a variant of the national flag of the Republic of Lesva before the Saela Spring and the Throngist Revolution.

Fellow compatriots, we must interrupt our regular programming to announce news we had just received. You might notice military officers to the left and to the right of me, as well as behind me. The talks were started as the military arrived in Paita Sudi to prop up the territorial defense of the city, as the Scadi regime on the mainland is conducting drills and is believed to be preparing for an invasion of the island. The Independent Officers Front offered First Secretary of the Throngist Movement Party of Lesva, the Honorable Teca Viltin, and Party Leadership to peacefully transfer power by offering constructive criticism that the Party was not prepared to lead Cane Islo in fighting off the invasion. Since our last report on the day before yesterday and throughout yesterday, there were no more news on the matters, as the talks in Paita Sudi continued behind closed doors, the military remained present in Paita Sudi and the mainland regime resumed drills near and around Cane Islo. Following the earlier visit by Marshal Iuna Scadi to the officers of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy in the fleet near the captured Cane Islo, Lieutenant Nica Corsin, Secretary General of the Central Social Council, has now embarked on a similar visit to the officers of the Lesvan Revolutionary Army Navy, who are all currently engaged in a military exercise near Cane Islo. While on board one of the vessels together with Navy Officers, Lieutenant Nica Corsin declared that in discussions with Marshal Iuna Scadi, a decision was made that there would need to be an increase in vessels to be added to the fleet patrolling and exercising near Cane Islo, where the Throngists had just been ousted in a military coup by yesterday's allies, who now position themselves as "reform-oriented non-Throngists." As an illegal junta is preparing to terrorize the Lesvan State's only island by having pushed the party of the Throngists to the side after the Throngists had loosed their grip, Marshal Iuna Scadi declared that the Lesvan State is now in a position, where it will have to resort to using force to restore its' territorial integrity and liberate the compatriots on the captured island from their hostage state, or apply maximum pressure against the forces on the island that terrorism against the residents of Cane Islo will not be allowed to happen without punishment. A military operation to liberate Cane Islo would be led by the Revolutionary Army Navy first and foremost, thus right now the National Leader argues that the Navy is the one that should receive the largest increase in number.

Scadi's Lesva's and Cane Islo's new military junta's warships start opening fire at each other after build-up of tensions

After a military build-up, steady increase and sharpening of tensions, as well as what appears to have been a bilateral preparation for an unavoidable military confrontation, the warships of the navies of Scadi's Lesva and the de facto separately self-governing island of Cane Islo, where the Throngists were just ousted and replaced by a non-Throngist military dictatorship, have started firing at each other. It seems that the brewing military conflict has begun. In the fashion of secrecy typical to dictatorships, the propaganda of the Scadi regime and the propaganda of Cane Islo now in the new military junta's hands have not announced the beginning of this clash, making our foreign-based opposition network the first Lesvan news media network to announce the beginning of the battle. SĀRRUC, 10 May 2024 | Controversy has hit the annual gathering of Priests of Duvactism, which has convened in the capital in the last couple of days to elect the High Priest for 2024-2025 tomorrow. His Eminence Priest U̦chwda, who is the popular head of the Temple of Aymhīrruc and one of the frontrunners to succeed the incumbent High Priestess Stwtī VII, turns out to be under police investigation in relation to an international child trafficking ring.

A spokesperson of the Temple of Aymhīrruc told journalists that the case is observed with extreme concern and that they are convinced of the Priest’s innocence. Although they seems reluctant to mention it, the spokesperson did make reference to a dispute between the Temple of Aymhīrruc and the Convent of Tō that emerged in October last year about charity donations intended for a project of Aymhīrruc that ended up at Tō. Upon investigation, the Head Priestess of Tō, Her Eminence Ja̦zo, turns out to be accusing Aymhīrruc of exactly the same, but vice versa. Whether or not the police investigation is just the result of a set-up, therefore remains to be seen.

While the Congregation of Priests has not been willing to disclose any details about the investigation, nor about the question whether or not Priest U̦chwda will be able to participate in the election tomorrow, the general public has confessed itself on social media to be anxious about the integrity of the election proceedings and whether or not the next High Priest will really have the support of the other Priests. SĀRRUC, 12 May 2024 | In potentially the most chaotic election of a Duvactist High Priest ever, the Congregation of Priests of Duvactism yesterday elected Their Eminence Priest Qebɵd Urhit, the head of the Monastery of Velvet Contemplation in Culdo, to succeed the incumbent High Priestess Stwtī VII on 1 July. After their election, Qebɵd announced that they will take the name Bendēq III as High Priest.

Qebɵd can be considered to belong to the more progressive wings of Duvactism. They are known for controversial and sometimes complicated stances on Carām, the combination of action, intent, and consequences, implying that on the cosmic scale bad actions and intents may not always result in bad consequences; any action or intent can have good or bad consequences and the various paths of a soul’s cosmic journey may therefore not be known immediately after an action has taken place.

The convention was overshadowed by the exclusion of Priest U̦chwda Cemhijy, the head of the Temple of Aymhīrruc, from the election procedures, as a majority of the Priests found it inappropriate that he take part in the gathering while being under police investigation. Group calls itself “Crimson Legion.” Appears to have ties to Lesva although currently its unknown which political actor within Lesva the group has ties to. All Individuals identified migrated to Lesva between September 2023 and February 2024. Armaments limited to small arms and Light Utility Vehicles. Claim substantial military experience – on social media individuals cite experience during national service with the Tsunter Armed Forces.

Persons of Interest

“The Chief” - Has been identified as Waxmin Crawl, formed Chief Constable of the Ba Barōssa Constabulary. Crawl was removed from this position in September 2023 under the Preservation of Tsunder Democracy Act following an investigation by the Committee of Anti-Democratic Activities revealed Crawl had substantial pro-Throngist sympathies. Crawl subsequently migrated to Lesva, which at the time was under the Throngist regime. Crawl appears to be acting as the field commander for the group.

“Shrikhēm”. Real Identity unknown. Not believed to be located in Rezreks, likely based in Gael. SIGINT suggests Shrikhēm role is focused on funding, recruitment and acting as a liaison between the group and its partners.

Air Force to Streamline Fighter Operations and Procurements
The United Queendoms Air Force (UQAF) has helped protect the skies over Belantica for decades, and for many is held on a pedestal as being the most prestigious force that falls under the Ministry of Defense. However, there has been one issue with it that has been around for a long time in relation to the procurement of fighter aircraft. Typically, when it came time for UQAF to purchase new aircraft, both UQAF and Parliament went with the "most bang for your buck" option. The result is a hodgepodge of various different fighter craft from several different manufacturers, leading to issues with training, maintenance, and overall performance. Today, UQAF made an announcement that they are going to solve this issue and narrow down how many different types of fighter craft are being supplied and maintained for service.

Today, a spokesperson of UQAF made the announcement of this program and answered a few questions from journalists.

"It shouldn't come as a surprise that the current roster of fighter jets operated by UQAF being sourced from several different manufacturers is a major oversight that only adds more complications than benefit. Therefore, the Ministry of Defense has highlighted this issue to parliament, which came to an agreement that this should be resolved sooner rather than later. Today, we announce that UQAF will begin work on a replacement program to consolidate resources and streamline both mission and maintenance operations for our fighter fleet. This program will take a few years to fully implement, but will result in a much more streamlined force that will improve the air capabilities of Belantica."

One journalist asked if a decision has already been made on what company will be contracted with UQAF:

"While we do not have any specific manufacturer that has been contracted to undergo a large-scale replacement program, it's safe to say that for the time being, UQAF is open to taking bids from them. With that said however, the final decision is not for the Ministry of Defense to make, but is reliant on what Parliament ultimately decides. Parliament is of course, going to pick which manufacturer will be granted the contract, in relation to budget and regional limitations that could potentially be put in place. There would also need to take consideration for current capabilities and both current and future needs of Belantica's airpower. Once they publish those guidelines, it should be clearer on who UQAF who be contracted with this program."

Another journalist asked a question on whether this program would affect the Royal Belantic Naval Air Service (RBNAS):

"We cannot speak for certain on whether or not the Naval Air Service will undergo a similar program at this time. Despite both UQAF and the RBNAS possessing fighter craft, the needs of both agencies are different and thus require different aircraft. This of course, would be to be decided on by the RBN chain of command."

Another question was on the timeframe when Parliament would make the decision in relation to the program, with the spokesperson speculating that a decision is set to come in by the end of May. One additional question is if any aircraft manufacturers have posted bids, which according to them, none have yet due to the announcement being made today. We will continue to follow this story, as we await the decisions on this matter by Parliament, and a final bidder is chosen.
