Wangano Prepares to celebrate 42 years since the end of the Wangano Civil War
On Sunday Wangano remarks an important day in history on 10 March 1982 the far left communist dictatorship lost all power over Wangano as they lost their last stronghold Shangwei the Second Wangano Civil War is one of the deadliest wars in in history with over 2 million people dead. Wangano was the first communist government to fall that created a domino effect the next year. That saw three other communist governments lose power. Wanganoans will be celebrating the victory of their land. Meanwhile Huaing Yuangxi is in Shangwei the city where the battle ended. Huaing Yuangxi is set to give a speech outside Shangwei City Hall tomorrow. Meanwhile in Lezen The Freedom Concert will be hosted in the normal spot at Lezen City Gardens where Wangano’s Islevision representer Peter Johnson including Chinese Singer Jui Xijang, Girls pop band SLAY and singular artists Pracarzi, Nelson Feloke, Sandy Yui, Huang Guitjou, DJ Cube, Monga Li, SBVI, Sounds of Lezen including Piano performance by Lucy Kazong and Harp Performance by Grand lady Martha Merakiza. Team are sold out for the event.
In sport all WPL, WPD1 and WPD2 and WPL Woman’s League clubs will have Wanganoan Flags on the front of their shirts. Along with two soliders in the Wanganoan Army will be next to the two teams that are playing against each other. At all professional sports events the national anthem will be played and the there will be a moment of silence to remember the people who died in the war just like every year.
In addition to all of this Wangano will get the Monday 11th March off.
