And that she is one of the few people to care enough about you to actually care what happens to you, if you'd just told her you weren't ready for sex everything would have been fine."

"Nice choice," Maria commented, looking Connor up and down. "Shall we depart for breakfast? You may be surprised at our facilities here."

Maria led him downstairs, out of the palace and into the cantine building, where she showed him how to order from the food machines.
"That order goes to the cooks," Maria explained. "Don't ask me where the kitchen is, I've no clue. But anyway, do you just want a bacon sandwich or a full breakfast or what?"

"You remember I said I need to eat more than a normal human?" Maria said, selecting her options. "I'm having 3 full breakfasts and 4 plates of syrup pancakes."

"She's upset that you had a reason to shout at her," Lucas attempted to reassure him. "Did she become upset when you shouted at her, or when you brought up everything that had happened?"

"I do," Maria said, as the food was brought out to their table. "Sorry...at breakfast I don't have the most ladylike of eating styles. This will not look attractive at all."

With that, she began to use her fork like a weapon, eating entire sausages and plates of pancakes. 5 minutes later, she was almost half finished.

Maria finished her mammoth breakfast and wiped her face with a napkin.
"What do you fancy doing after the exam?" she asked. "Oh...and do your parents know about...us yet?"

"That's the point," Lucas said understandingly. "You're blaming her for something that she couldn't help...she wasn't in control of her own body. It's almost like you are blaming her for something she didn't actually do, I really do think you need to talk with her. Just because this other Alicia has ruined both your lives, their's no reason to be horrible to her about it."
