Actually, unlike planned socialism, market socialism can perform just as well as capitalism can.

It operates in a market economy, like regular capitalism, but instead of the MoP being privately owned it is worker owned. In 2013, Mondragon Corporation (a federation of worker cooperatives) made almost 13 billion Euro in revenue.

It is generally efficient. I am still thinking partially about my economy, but generally Shogun keeps everything in check. In his vision market should serve the people, not otherwise.

In Socialism the MoP are owned/controlled by the workers themselves.
The USSR was in no way socialist. It was state capitalist.

The issue is my entire country isn't state-capitalist, hence why it's between that and dirgisme. Only the upper, large megacorps are 51% state-controlled(49% is owned by the CEOs and other directors, making them rich as hell). Anything under that level is capitalist completely.

Not like the lower businesses matter, the inflation of the Remnant credit is enormous and the working class who use those lower businesses to shop will notice a marked increase in price due to this and a noticeable lack of foodstuffs in some seasons since the URA imports a majority of its foddstuffs through trade.

On a personal level, my economy is fucking horrible for the average person. All products are expensive to purchase, especially on the meager wages provided them by their jobs. Most of the population is crammed into large cities of a hundred million or more, and most people live in apartments that are provided, but not upkept, by the state. While health insurance, public transportation, and utilities are free for the people and provided by the megacorporations, taxes are through the roof, further constricting the wages of the public. There is no draft, but a person can join the military, at least giving them a nice residence and a job that is usually better than working in a Wildfire Industries heavy machine factory. On top of that, the Internal Security Agency has become a FBI/NSA mix with an open-ended charter and ability to protect the people by any means necessary, giving a slight fear of disappearing for committing capital offenses, even if the disappearances are a myth. They don't happen, really, but the rumors exist.

As a government the URA has virtually an unlimited supply of funding and materiel from the megacorporations that trade and develop products in the best interests of the state and is hella omnipresent and omnipotent, making the nation essentially a police state that can control every aspect of public life, however not the private life of the public, just to keep that clear. The president of the government is an authoritarian leader, and while the current one is benevolent and highly patriotic for the good fo the people, the possibilities for a despot to take power is present. There is a Senate, which has control of most minor legislation, however anything affecting the nation is ordered by the president. The megacorporations are split into three: Wildfire Industries, which handles heavy industry, manufacturing, military hardware, construction, etc.; Asys Advanced Systems Technology, which handles personal entertainment, research, development, technology, robotics, cybernetics, medicine, etc.; And the Origin Corporation, which controls infrastructure, energy, tourism, public entertainment, transport, etc.
