Manual labor slavery became unjustifiable in even the barest sense with the advent of the steam pump, and sex slavery is just treating people like objects but in a different way. Any nation which holds the institution of slavery today usually does it so they can feel powerful. It's compensation, more than anything else, for society-wide feelings of inadequacy.

Perhaps that is why I so enjoy making them feel powerless and helpless when I take their ships.

HRAF launches airstrikes!

The HRAF has launched 20 airstrikes in Syria and Iraq. Targets included Al-Nusra, Assad loyalists, ISIS, and Ba'athist militias in Iraq who fight against the Iraqi government and Peshmerga forces. A staff leader in that organizations was believed to be killed in one of the strikes. Another 20 against new targets in the same organizations will occur on Friday, Sunday, Monday, and the Thursday after that. President Golofad said in a press conference "we are committed to ending the terrorist regimes in both Syria and Iraq. The Republic of Hatay will take adequate action against these violent extremists in both Syria and Iraq." More news as it comes in on further strikes.

I have a gut feeling the PCian fleet will resort into nuclear cruise missiles. If they launch a nuke cruise missile, we have ACM lasers and missiles for that. And just in case they use ballistic missiles, we have ABMs on our frigates and submarines. They will learn it is futile.
