My son just began worshipping Inari, Kwannon and Christ at the same time to marry her girlfriend. While I am okay with that, I ask, is adding the Shintō and Buddhist pantheon necessary?07.12.2015 18:12| REPLY |
OOC: In Verdiger slang, "to worship Inari [Ōkami], Kwannon and Christ [at the same time]" would mean "to be a Shintō, Buddhist and Christian at the same time. Likewise, "to worship Inari [Ōkami] and Kwannon [at the same time]" would mean "to be a Shintō and Buddhist and the same time. While considered offensive in Japan itself, it is a lot less so in Verdiga, and can be found in common use within the Japonic populace. (e.g. Many Japanese nationals worship Inari Ōkami and Kwannon, but I have yet to find an estimate of Japanese nationals that worship Inari Ōkami, Kwannon and Christ.)
OOC: Ragnar Edmundsson (RagnarGah) is a Verdiger supermodel/actor.
