Incumbent Mayor of my hometown Ubar, Abu Zaghreb has been Mayor of Ubar since 2013, and he's been a huge success. I believe he is a very strong and capable man. When he took office in 2013, the Murder Rate in Ubar was a blood-curling 15.7. Now it is a strong 6.3. He's put more police officers on the street, adopted a culture of respect for law enforcement, and put away criminals for a just amount of time. He's slashed unnecessary spending, and cut taxes on the Middle Class. He's the model Mayor, and I will be campaigning with him tomorrow in Ubar's streets, speaking to the common man and women, to hear their concerns.

A Close Race
The Mayoral Race in Ubar remains to be a tight one. With current polling numbers from the HBC having a very close race:
Abu Zaghreb (CP): 39%
Yussuf Hassan (LLP): 36%
Zaina Murad (DSPH): 18%
Other: 3%
Undecided: 4%
The race, which will be won on the 3rd of December, has tightened in recent days, as Hassan's disappointing debate showings have been recently overshadowed by a report saying the amount of homeless people in Ubar is on the rise, and Zaghreb's policy have much to do. Also, the amount of undecided voters have shrunk, as many are now persuaded by the words of a certain candidate. Current trends not only show a tightening race, but also a strong showing for the Socialists. Who hope to hit the 20% mark, although the Liberals may worry about them taking votes from their candidates.
