Princess Sophia, Duchess of Croÿ gave birth to her and her husband, Duke Antoine of Croÿ's first child today, Prince Antoine de Croÿ.
Princess Sophia, who divorced her first husband in 2076 and married the Duke of Croÿ in 2077, went into labor earlier today and was admitted into Chimery Central Hospital. After 4 hours of labor, the Duchess produced a healthy baby boy. The Household the Duke and Duchess of Croÿ soon afterwards announced his name is Antoine, after his father. With the birth of Prince Antoine de Croÿ, Princess Aura, former Queen of Serbia has now seen all of her children have a child of their own, the first being her son Prince Reschnov's first child, Louis-Antoine II, Duke of Angouleme born in 2035. The child is Princess Aura's 39th grandchild.

It was announced by the empress today that her eldest daughter, the beautiful Crown Princess Maria Christina of Polonge and her husband, Crown Prince Matthieu are expecting their first child. The child, of it is a boy, shall be named Mikulàs and if it is a girl, it shall be named Josephine. The child is expected to be born in September of this year.

The wedding of Kevin, Crown Prince of New England and Victoria, Princess of Polonge and Hrvatska took place today in New England. 922 guests attended the wedding, including several foreign royals such Crown Princess Maria Christina and her husband Matthieu, along with the Crown Prince and Princess of Derita and the Dutch-Empire.

The wedding was a secular ceremony, surprising considering the princess’s devotion to the Catholic faith. The wedding was resides over by Judge Andrew Perry. An estimated 936 million people watched the ceremony worldwide and two million spectators lined the route of Victoria’s procession, with 4,000 police and 2,201 military officers to manage the crowds.

Princess Victoria arrived at the marriage hall in the Glass Coach with her father, Leopold , Archduke of Hrvatska; she was escorted by six mounted Police officers. She arrived almost on time for the 11:20am ceremony. The carriage however was too small to hold the two of them comfortably due to her voluminous dress, designed by the famed designer Elizabeth Percy, and train. She made the three-and-a-half minute walk up the red-carpeted aisle with the sumptuous 25 ft (8 m) train of gown behind her held by her ten bridesmaids and escorted by her father.

Victoria was then presented to King Isaac and Queen Maria, and the two women exchanged kisses on the cheek. King Isaac ceremonially gave his royal blessing and Princess Victoria was then presented to Crown Prince Kevin. The service proceeded with the formal service and congregational singing of three well known hymns, fanfares, anthems, organ and orchestral music. In the marriage vows, the couple promised to "love, comfort, honour and keep" each other. This was sealed by the exchange of a single ring. Victoria did not promise to "obey" Kevin as part of the traditional vows. That word was eliminated at the couple's request.

Following the ceremony, the couple and closest of the guests went to the Royal Palace for a wedding breakfast. Victoria and Kevin made a traditional appearance on a balcony of the Royal Palace at 13:10, and delighted the crowd when they kissed.

The couple had 27 wedding cakes. The Stellar Armed Forces supplied the official wedding cake. Christopher Gill, head baker at the Royal Stellar cooking school, made the cake over the course of 14 weeks. They made two identical cakes in case one was damaged. The couple's other wedding cake was created by Deritain pastry chef E.D. Villepin, who was known as the "cakemaker to the kings". Another wedding cake was created by Chef Nicholas Logg; Chef Nicholas had previously made Empress Alanna’s 80th Birthday Cake.

A "just married" sign was attached to the landau by Princes Nicholas and Frederick, Victoria’s brothers, which raised smiles as the married couple was driven through the city as they left to go on their honeymoon.

Empress Marianne, though not yet twenty, announced the pregnancy alongside her husband the Kaiser. It hoped that the child will be the first of many and will be a boy, and an heir.

No Spare, not even an Heir

Last month marked the one year anniversary of the marriage of Queen Adelaide II of Scotland and Prince André, Duke of Normandy, now the King Consort of Scotland. And while the two young rulers, the Queen is just 20 years old and her king just 22 years old, celebrated this in a vacation in the Scottish highlands. As they relaxed and vacationed in Mullardoch Castle, treated to one of the many perks of being monarchs, there were some others outside the peaceful mountainous country of the Scottish north that raised their voices in protest. The King and Queen seem to have been given everything, beauty, talent, youth, riches, love and power. All but one thing. That which is most vital by any monarch.

An Heir.

The story of Queen Adelaide and King André start in two places, with two women who were never expected to be queens. With the lovely Queen of Scots, her mother was Mary III, Queen of Scots born as the eldest child and daughter of King Carlos II of Espana. As the eldest child Mary was heir to the throne until she was swiftly transplanted by her younger brothers. With this all hopes for Mary becoming a queen rested in her marrying a foreign monarch. This fate of being merely another one of the many daughters of the Mad King of Espana disappeared however when during the revolution of 2059, Mary stood matters into her own hand and rebelled against her father in Scotland. Her aunt Adelaide I, Queen of Scots decided to abdicate the throne in favor of Mary. Shortly afterwards Mary married Prince Philippe of Gênes and together they had three daughters and a son.

Of the children, the eldest was Princess Agnes. The young princess was suddenly thrust into the seat of the throne of Scotland in 2067 when a revolution, much like the one that had brought Mary up to the throne, brought her and her husband down. Mary was forced to hand over her throne to her six year old daughter, who took on the regal name of Adelaide II. As the new Queen was only a child, a regency was declared, first held by Lord Rosebury until his death and then by Mr. Reyes. It was under Mr. Reyes’ guidance that the young Queen was sent to Derita, the purpose? An alliance between the Celestial Empire and Scotland, tied together by the union of the Queen of Scots and the Duke of Normandy. In Fontainebleau Adelaide grew into a tall, the tallest female monarch in the world, towering even higher than Katherine II of Atmora, and incredibly beautiful. She has been described by foreigners as the kindest Queen alive and has made a name for herself as the benefactor of countless charities and progressive non-profit organizations.

Across the waves as Queen Maria Cristina was caring for newborn daughter in Espana, her sister Juliana, Queen of Naples and Sicily was incapable of producing and heir and refusing to let her throne fall into the hands of her younger and beautiful sister and her children, looked for an heir from another house. Picking from another kingdom of the same cultural background, she turned her attention to Princess Marié Thérèsa of Venise, eldest daughter of King Niccolò of Venise and like Mary had been supplanted by her younger brother’s. Juliana became interested in the young girl and for years pondered having the girl succeed her. Tragedy how struck Marié Thérèsa with the death of her father and her family forced into exile in her mother’s native Gênes. In Gênes the young red headed Venitian princess grew up in the court of Queen Adela until in 2056 when she was finally named heir to the throne of Naples and Sicily. The same year she started her beautiful whirlwind romance with Crown Prince André.

The year after her marriage to the Crown Prince, having ascending the Napoli throne, she had her first child, Prince André, Duke of Normandy. As the grandson of the King-Emperor, André from birth was and is second-in-like to the throne of the Celestial Empire and first for that of Naples and Sicily. He amazed and charmed the court of Fontainebleau with his charm, his gentle, poetic and artistic nature, a pleasant divergence from the usual dominating nature of Deritain princes. Becoming known as the Poet Prince, he was introduced to his future wife to be when he was just ten years old.

As they were engaged as children and made to live with one another, it was no surprise that the two started dating as the two of them grew up and matured. André and Adelaide publicly debuted together at his grandfather’s Golden Jubilee in 2071, were they lead the parade across a brand new bridge built in his honor. While André was noted to be slightly afraid of the task, gaining a fear of bridges from the experience, he was comforted by the prescience of Adelaide. The two began dating in 2076. With this, the two basically became inseparable. The entire Celestial Empire and Kingdom of Scotland waited impatiently as they got older together, marching closer and closer to the wedding that would happen, eventually. In December 2079, the wedding of André and Adelaide finally took place after years of the waiting. André, at this point in time 21 years old married the then 19 year old Queen of Scots in a relatively small ceremony in Fontainebleau. The size and coverage of the ceremony was a bit of a shock considering that the Duke of Normandy was second in line to the throne and Adelaide was the queen of her own sovereign nation. Upon his marriage André become the King Consort of Scotland.

The couple, as Queen and King of Scotland went about the world in the celebration of their love, even going on vacations with one another. Their trip to the island of Kalliste made national headlines though they were in the shadow of the King’s younger brother, then Prince Alexandre and his future husband, Prince Adrian. Here they went to a wine tasting event where they tried and greatly admired the taste of the famous Kalliste Cocktail, served by the famously beautiful Kalliot Sirens, the intentionally well breed group of women who are descendants of the ancient natives of the island, trained in sing their their secretive old native songs. When having dinner at a local restaurant, the Queen and King of Scots refused to eat free of charge as they had been offered, and instead offering to pay for their and everyone else dining there that night.The Queen and King of Scots and the Duke and Duchess of Mantova had while the others were hang gliding gone to another local restaurant for breakfast, enjoying classic Hollande tea and coffee despite the tropic heat in classic regal fashion. Following this they decided to go visit the nature part on the other side of the island, where Queen Adelaide II and Duchess Frederica swam with the dolphins and the Duke of Normandy and Duke of Mantova went snorkeling, taking pictures of their adventures here. They then later left and went to beach to reunite with the rest of their vacation party.

The couple then returned to Scotland where they were invited to the countryside by Lord Pouthon. The royal couple arrived for their first visit on 8 October and stayed at the house of Sauchieburn Castle. Adelaide found the house "small but pretty" and was later recorded by journalist as having described the house, in which she said that: "All seemed to breathe freedom and peace, and to make one forget the world and its sad turmoils" The surrounding hilly landscape reminded them of the Montaigne Region, located in André’s homeland the Celestial Empire. Quickly, the house was confirmed to be too small and, in November Andrew and Robert Briggs were commissioned to design new offices, cottages, and other ancillary buildings. Improvements to the woodlands, gardens, and estate buildings also were being made, with the assistance of the landscape gardener, William Beattie, and possibly by the painter, William Giles Jr. The King and Queen are intending to buy the house officially making it one of their many royal residences once all the improvements have been made.

The couple then made their way back to the Celestial Empire to attend the marvelous wedding of Prince Alexandre and Prince, of which in King André acted as best man for his brother the Duke of Alençon and Adelaide’s youngest sister, Princess Sofia acted as the first ever female best man in a Deritain royal wedding. Here Adelaide was absolutely stunning as she attended the wedding wearing a lovely Émeline & Rachel Rousselle dress that was was a lovely baby blue and decorated with diamonds. Following the wedding the King and Queen once again returned to Scotland. Here they have made plans to visit the city of Bleugate, the capital city of the Kingdom of Beliany where they will attend their first state visit alongside the King and Queen of Beliany, King Leopold and Queen Antoinette. It will be Queen Adelaide’s first official act as Queen of Scots and is expected to be a major event for both her and the nation as she will finally get to start taking control of her nation after a decade and a half of waiting under the management of regents.

Yet as they take all these steps as great, new age and no doubt wonderful monarchs, they are bombarded with certain focuses. While they may have celebrated their in year anniversary, time flies and Queen Adelaide II and King André have only been married a hot minute and they’re being bombarded with baby questions. It seems fans and supporters of the royal couple are more pumped for them to get pregnant than they are.
While in Monar on Wednesday, the couple ran into a woman who suggested to King André that they get started. The public pressure to have kids seems to be mounting for the pair, especially considering that their children, should they have any, will eventually inherit not just Scotland, but also the entirety of the Celestial Empire, the Kingdom of Naples and Sicily and the Empire of Russlande. A tall order for any royal pair. But the couple said back in November of 2079, shortly before they finally got married after years of waiting, that they do want a family. “Of course,” André told Royals Life. “You know, one step at a time. Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future.”

And while this all seems nice, there is a much darker undertone to the issue, that is the lack of issue. In previous royal marriages the brides were often with child with a year of their wedding date. There has rarely in the last fifty years been an unfruitful marriage in any of the two monarch’s genealogical lines. Queen Marié Thérèsa, King André’s Mother, was pregnant just nine months after her marriage. Before that Queen Antoinetta had Marié Thérèsa exactly a year after her marriage to King Niccolò of Venise. Meanwhile on Adelaide’s side, Queen Mary gave birth to her just a year and one month after her marriage to Prince Philippe and before that Queen Maria Cristina gave birth just months after her marriage to Carlos II of Espana. The last time that such a major issue was brought up in their families was years of waiting that plagued Christopher II of Derita and his wife, Empress Alara of Russlande, in which they had a period of twenty years between their wedding date and the birth of their first child, Crown Prince André, King André’s father.

In recognition of this fact, this has sent many people, so used to the early marriages and quick succession of children so often produced by such regal unions, to throw themselves into a panic at the lack of even the slightest sign of a pregnancy from Queen Adelaide. Many have been caught saying that it had been long enough, that the “Queen of Scots should at the very least be pregnant!” The note that so many others have been able to complete this feat with almost alarming and supernatural speed, with some princesses, like Empress Charlotte of Connuriste being thrown into a frenzy to produce as many children as quickly and as fast as possible, sometimes having or even forcing themselves into having early birth like Princess Alexia of Connuriste or Princess Victoria of New England. Despite them knowing that such birth can be potentially dangerous and bad for the child, many seem to wish for such a pregnancy, wanting a child from the Queen and King as quickly as possibly. Even others seem to delude themselves, searching for any and ever sign that there could be a royal bun in the oven, despite there being no evidence of such a thing.

This has also left some with some questions as to why the Queen is not yet pregnant, causing blame on the couple for neglecting their royal duty, whilst others still seek to blame the year without an heir on genetics, declaring that either the Queen or King or both are infertile. All spectulation as of now and one can only hope that soon the rumors will be put to rest and we shall be granted an heir.

Newborn Prince in Gênes

Princess Philippine of Anhalt-Bernburg gave birth to a strong baby boy in at the Winter Palace late last night. The Princess of Anhalt-Bernburg, wife of Johannes, the Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg and the younger twin sister of Princess Louise of Gênes and younger sister of Princess Helena, the. Madame Royale of Gênes and a great-granddaughter of Queen Adela, went into labor at 11:24 pm last night.

Instead of having the Princess of Anhalt-Bernburg rushed to the hospital, Queen Adela ordered the Royal doctors to deliver the child in the Winter Palace in the Princess’s apartments. With Prince Johannes, ruler of the small German state of the Principality of Anhalt-Bernburg since he was a toddler in 2066, by his wife’s side, the doctors were able to deliver a handsome healthy baby boy.

As the Princess of Anhalt-Bernburg held the child, she was surrounded by her husband sisters, brothers, her father and stepmother, grandparents, her grandmother-in-law and her great-grandmother. The child’s name was released just this morning, as the Princess of Anhalt-Bernburg wished for some delay and time with her child and her family. The child has beeen given the honorable name of;

Amadeus Victor Adel, Hereditary Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg

The name was chosen by the parents, the first meaning “Love God!” while the later two names are given in honor to Princess Philippine’s late brother Prince Victor and in honor of her great-grandmother Queen Adela. Prince Amadeus is the first great-great-grandchild of Queen Adela and is currently sixth-in-line to the throne of Gênes behind his great-grandfather, grandfather, two aunts and mother. He is the heir apparent to the Principality of Anhalt-Bernburg.

The Prince and Princess of Anhalt-Bernburg who were married quietly only earlier this year, will remain at the Winter Palace until the spring, upon which they shall return to Bernburg Castle. A child of the House of Askanier, Prince Amadeus’ ancestors include the rulers of Gênes, North Timeria, Milan, Anhalt-Bernburg, and Navarre. He is also a second cousin of Crown Prince Kresimir of Makonia.

Birth of Prince Quentin of Beliany

Just day’s after King Leopold and Queen Antoinette were in Alexandra, Atmora, they returned to the capital city of Bleugate, with friends and family in tow, including the King’s sister Empress Charlotte of Connuriste and her husband Connor II of Connuriste and their uncle the Duke of Halliun, as well as the Dukes of Alençon. It was noted that the Duke of Angoulême,former King Louis of Beliany did not come to visit, instead returning to Derita.

Not long after arriving in the capital city, Queen Antoinette went into labor. There had been some concerns of if she went into labor in Atmora during the royal visit and advisors had warned against the Queen attending the visit, but she insisted. Luckily however it seems that nothing was to fear. The Queen was take to the hospital when she was tended to by the Royal Family’s doctors. The King and Queen were joined by the Empress and Emperor of Connuriste, as well as the King’s Mother, Auguste.

At 12:06 pm January 19, 2082 Prince Quentin Siebe Jérôme of Beliany was born, becoming the fifth son of the King and the second of his wife the Queen. A few hours after the birth of the baby boy, his older brothers arrived at the hospital where Prince Baudouin, the 13Duke of Brabant held the newborn. Cannons were ceremoniously fired in honor of the child. His maternal and paternal aunts and uncles the Prince and Princess of Surány and the Emperor and Empress of Connuriste have been named godparents.

Princess Adela of Scots arrives in Gênes

Just weeks following the Belian Invasion and the setting up of a puppet monarch in he form of the Duke of Rothesay in Edinburgh by General Bertrand Meert, Princess Adela of Scots, therightful heir presumptive to the rightful Queen of Scotland, Adelaide II; arrived in Gênes to join her great-grandmother’s Royal Court. While no actions have been taken as of yet by the Queen of Gênes, officials from the palace have confirmed that the Gênoise will stand behind Adelaide II as the rightful monarch of Scotland.

Presidential Pregnancy

Good Morning Aellyria, today is a wonderful day in our Republic, the First Lady Mrs. Brigitta Aeylgarn is pregnant. Currently, it is too early to tell what the gender of the baby is much to the yearning curiosity of both our reporters and our readers. We can assure you that the First Lady is healthy and the doctors expect it to be a fairly normal pregnancy. From what we've managed to learn about it, President Maelyx Aeylgarn is elated and is quoted saying "that this is one of the greatest days of his life!" much to the amusement of his wife and this reporter. We don't know if this will at all effect Mrs. Aeylgarn's appearances at public events, but it is safe to say that she will still be appearing as she is well known for championing the causes she finds of the utmost importance despite the personal burden it may put on her.

In other news today, it seems that Rhaenir Aeylgarn's trial has been pushed back another six months as new evidence of his crimes has to be processed. The investigative team tasked with prosecuting the former co-leader of the old government is up too their necks in war crimes, personal crimes, and general mischief charges brought against him.

A Celestial Discovery

Breaking News in Aellyria today, the Aellyrian Exploratory Fleet has found a habitable planet, it has a rich tropical biome and a dense atmosphere. There are signs of primitive civilization and Congress has appointed a committee in order to best handle the situation. An interim-ambassador has been appointed in order to foster relations with this new world. The world was named by the captain of the flagship Captain Benedict Hopkins who named the planet Thuzatis for no apparent reason other than he "liked the sound of it." While the Congressional committee has yet to decide what the national course of action will be, they have ordered the fleet to blockade the planet in order to enforce cultural and environmental integrity on the planet. The ambassador appointed is none other than Mr. Zachariah Arnold, a popular representative who has stepped down in order to take charge of the "important process of building a relationship with the people of Thuzatis." as the ambassador is quoted saying during his appointment speech. This decision has been met with popular reception by the people of Aellyria with a survey stating that ninety five percent of Aellyria thinks this is the correct course of action.

Uranium Miners Strike!

Thousands of Miners of Imarati’s rich uranium deposits protested in front of the gates of the Sabch’os Sasakhle, also known as the Council’s Palace, demanding from the State Council better and higher wages for the workers of Imarati’s leading industry. The strike comes from low wages given to the workers placed at just 7.84 drams per hour, a meager wage for the workers to support themselves and their families on. While the large companies, lead by lobbyist Givi Orbeliani have threaten to fire those who harm the kingdom’s economy, Crown Prince Kavus has sided with the workers, calling for his father and the State Council to raise the wages of the “backbone of Imarati.” King Kayas VII, the 51st King of Imarati has promised to meet with the State Council to discuss the raising of wages.

Grand Duke Frederick Francis VIII adopts Prince Alexandre!

Frederick Francis VIII, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin has shocked many as he adopted Prince Alexandre of the Netherlands to be his heir.The 54 year old Frederick Francis VIII ascended the sovereign member state of Mecklenburg-Schwerin in the empire in 2067 upon the death of his cousin and predecessor, Edward, who was killed by King Charles II of Espana when he was fled to the Mad King's pet tiger after he angered the monarch. Frederick Francis, the closest male member of the ever shrinking family, thus became the new Grand Duke. Two years later he married Countess Bianka of Stoiber-Danneberg, who became Grand Duchess and with whom he has three daughters, Emilie, Claudia and Layla. Depite this beautiful family, not all is well. In 2077 Frederick Francis VIII lead the colonization effort on a Prussian moon, the Colony of Wismar. While serving as Governor of Wismar (2077 to 2079), Frederick Francis VIII came into contact with a disease previously unknown on the colony. Of the others who came into contact with the diease, named blauretod, only 7 survived out of the total 34. While Frederick Francis VIII was among those who lived, it left him and the others scarred, partially paralyized and infertile, meaning Frederick Francis VIII could not produce more children and importantly,
a son and heir. This was fine as he had two cousin, Counts Egon and Gunter. Both however died while on Wismar, Egon serving as governor died in January of this year, believed from blaurtod, and Gunter a month and a half late from suicide, believed to be done under the pressure of being the new heir and governor of the colony. With this tragic death, the House of Mecklenburg-Schwerin will come to an entire with Frederick Francis VIII. However, in order to prevent this, the Grand Duke has announced his adoption of Prince Alexandre of the Netherlands, brother of Empress Marianne of Prussia, and son of the late King William-Alexander II, through whom Alexandre is a distant relative of Frederick Francis VIII. This has been declared fully legal with Alexandre being given the status of Heretidary Grand Duke.

Imarati ravaged by daily Union Strikes!

Following the passing of the Union Workers Protection Act just a week ago through the State Council and signed into law by King Kayas VII, that protected the right of workers to strike in order to gain better wages, extreme backlash has spread across Imarati, especially in the capital city where workers, demanding higher wages have brought the country to near stand still as everyone from casino employees to metalworkers have taken to the streets in order to demand higher wages. And with companies no longer able to fire their employees for the taking part in the strike, a standstill has emerged with some, for many are complying with the strikers, some companies like Mildiani Heavy Industries are refusing to bend to the will of the strikers, sending business into s terrible whirlwind. Lobbyist Givi Orbeliani has blamed the growing workers crisis on Crown Prince Kavus for his encouragement of the strikers without consideration for the greater good of the nation. Opiuu Coming to You!

Earlier this morning Ms. Saessa Aeylgarn, CEO of Opiuu the nations prime pharmaceutical company has announced the companies campaign to open pharmacies across the globe, now the logistics of this have not been stated but the CEO did promise they were in the works. Some wonder if this was the doing of President Maelyx Aeylgarn, as he is known to be the owner of the parent company for Opiuu. It has caused quite a few conspiracy theorists to work in the wake of the announcement, however, most Aellyrians seem to be apathetic to the announcement, wondering why they should care about the expansion of a private company.

Duke of Malaga declared King James IX!

Members of the small city of Stranraer were shocked today as a small army of 1,500 soldiers. At the head of this new force in Scotland was Infante Santiago, Duke of Malaga, the youngest child of the late Queen Eleanor of Scotland and her husband King Charles II of Espana. However the prince did not arrive simply as a prince, but as the rightful claimant to the throne of Scotland, the true inheritor of his mother Queen Eleanor, who died in 2055 after reigning for only ten years when her youngest son was just eight years old. Now, twenty-seven years later her youngest son had returned to take back his throne as James IX, King of Scotland.

But who exactly is this “King James IX”? Born as Infante Santiago de Espana y Escocia (translates to Prince James of Espana and Scotland, on March 1, 2047, the youngest of Eleanor and Charles II (Charles III in Scotland)’s children. Named contravesally after his mother’s only nephew, Prince James, Duke of Rothesay who died in infancy, but also shared the name with his mother’s predecessor, King James VIII who had seized the throne for eight months after King Robert III’s death. Following the death of his mother, James would spend the rest of his childhood in Espana. He was given the titles of Duke of Albany by his father in 2059 and then make Duke of Malaga by his uncle, King Henrique II in 2076..

From 2068 to 2072 The Duke of Albany attended the University of Granada. In 2076 James married Archduchess Maria Amalia of Polonge, daughter of then Empress Josephine of Polonge. The two then had two children, a son named James and a daughter named Eleanor.

Now, with the Duke of Rothesay as Henry II of Scotland, and Queen Adelaide II still in Derita, it seems that there is a new contender for the throne in the form of James IX of Scotland. Stranraer has agreed to follow him. As he makes his campaign to Edninburgh, to Dumfries, then Kilmarnock then Glasgow and on to the capital, will this mark the reign of a new king? Or shall it only plunge the kingdom into further chaos?

Wave Hello to the Villagers

In a show of support for the newly declared King James IX of Scotland, the Aellyrian Air Force flew twelve squadrons of fighter jets over the country. Congress has declared the action to be part of the peacekeeping effort to make the transition of power easier for the new king. President Aeylgarn has decided not to comment on the decision as of now.

The newly appointed commander of the air force, Major Jaer Lealon oversaw the exercise stating explicitly that it was a peacekeeping exercise. The pilots involved were not mentioned by name but the Major is very confident in their ability to remain professional during the exercise.

46th Stellar Navy Marine Regiment Deployed to Scotland for Peacekeeping Duties

The Stellar Kingdom has been watching the situation in Scotland carefully since it's beginning. Now, with the potential cause of an outbreak of war sitting on the Scottish throne, King William has decided that New England can not sit back stand and simply watch, least people start dying because the Kingdom stand aside and watch. King William has announced the deployment of the 46th Stellar Navy Marine regiment, along with attached Stellar Army Corp of Engineers and Death Marine detachments, to act as peacekeepers. His Majesty announced that the New England soldiers will cooperate both with local Scottish military and police forces as well as stationed Belianese and Conurist forces. Battlefleet Homefleet has also assumed a Geosynchronous orbit over Scotland, and High Admiral Kingston Jackson has been ordered to remain on standby to provide assistance to New England forces as neccessary should any hostilities break out. The king has stated that New England soldiers will NOT be acting as law enforcement or offensive military personnel, and have been ordered to follow Scottish law and to respect Scottish customs during their stay in the nation.

The Stellar Army Corp of Engineers has also offered to help improve and modernize infrastructure within Scotland, and has also stated that it will remain available to assist emergency and medical service personnel within Scotland. King William has also stated that he is willing to act as a mediator to help facilitate negotiations and the creation of a peaceful solution to the volatile situation in Scotland.

Crown Prince Kavus Assassinated!

Tragedy struck in Soikon today as the workers union strikes escalated to violent levels today, resulting in the death of the beloved Crown Prince Kavus!

With King Kayas VII abroad visiting Selesburge, the State Council has been at a standstill,as daily Union strikes continue to hurt the country and especially the capital. Finally, seeing that the crisis had to be dealt with for the safety of the security of the nation to be assured, Crown Prince Kavus, the People’s Prince, who has long been a supporter of the workers, in fact acting as their most steadfast advocate in their favor in the government, decided to speak to the strikers in front of the gates of the Sabch’os Sasakhle, to negotiate a compromise. It would prove to be a fatal mistake.

As the Crown Prince of Imarati was giving his speech to the workers gathered in front of the Sabch’os Sasakhle, he asked for the workers to lay down their signs for the sake of the continued function of the nation. Crown Prince Kavus appealed to the morality of the companies in Soikon to be kind and obedient to the law and reasonably negotiate with their employees. He called for dispersal of the strikers, and a return to the normal schedules of the country. This however started to have some of the crowd turn against him, gaining a few boos in the back. How this didn’t seem to be a problem at first.

Suddenly, three shots went out in the crowd sparking a panic. One guard of the Sabch’os Sasakhle was witnessed to fall down into a pool of blood. Crown Prince Kavus, unharmed by the round of gunfire, attempted to calm the situation, yelling for everyone to remain calm. The guards, with the crowd panicked were forced to move to protect the Crown Prince and against his orders, fired into the crowd, killing 6 people and injuring dozens. Suddenly another gunshot from further away was heard and the Crown Prince fell. Dead.

While Crown Prince Kavus’s body has been successfully recovered, chaos has broken down in the streets of Soikon. Many are claiming that the assassination was planned and organized operation carried out by a professional assassin, a sniper, and that they created chaos in the crowd in order to get away with the attack. Riots have broken out as the People’s Prince is dead and manhunts have started. A state of emergency has been declared in Soikon by the State Council and the recalling of King Kayas VII has been made the immediate priority alongside restoring order to the capital.

King James IX Assassinated in Ayr!

Arrest of suspected assassin, Malcom Avalar

Just hours after news reached Edinburgh of the tragic assassination of Crown Prince Kavus of Imarati in Soikon, another assassination rocked the scene as it was released that, just days after arriving in Scotland and enroute to Edinburgh through a twisting campaign trail from Stranraer to Glasgow and then to the capital, the Duke of Malaga, having taking the disputed title of King of Scotland with the regnal name of James IX was assassinated during a tour of the city of Ayr.

The so called king, James IX traveled with his wife, the so called Queen Maria Amalia to the town hall where they meet with Mayor Ian Trumball. Mayor Trumball led the tour and once it was done, out of the town hall, holding his right wrist but frequently releasing it as James IX with his wife in his left arm shook hands with people whom he encountered. Trumball and James IX and Maria Amalia started down a staircase narrowed by the press who were set up.

Here disaster struck for the third Scottish throne claimant. James IX turned to his left and shook hands with mayoral office Lily Holmes when a single sniper shot cut through the air, hitting James IX directly in the head. Killed instantly as blood sprayed on Maria Amalia, his body collapsed onto the stairs. As guards rushed the fallen throne claimant, police went into the most likely spot of the assassin, the nearby Triple Horizon Hotel (which has held notable guests such as Prime Minister of Espana, actress Elizabeth Percy and most recently Princess Alexandrine).

Here they founded a drunk Malcom Avalar stumbling out of a hotel room, where when entered proved to have a sniper rifle aimed for the town hall, all but confirming that he is the assassin. He has been arrested. With James IX dead, what will come of his cause? Shall they raise up his young son as James X? Or will they retreat back into the sea? The future will tell. But for now one thing is true. Henry II alone reigns in Scotland.

Death Marine corps to be renamed to Stellar Vanguards, along with other changes, Including Expansion of the corps

A Death Marine of the 35th Company

The Death Marines have served New England valiantly since their founding during the Age of the Confederation. Seeing combat in every major Engagement since the battle of New Boston, these augmented Shock troops have struck fear and awe into the enemies of New England, and continue to do so to this day. However since their continued service under the Stellar Military, their name had come into question, as they now serve as honored guardians of the Stellar Kingdom and its people, rather than the blunt object of fear they were intended to be. Today marks the end of their designation as 'Death Marines', and as of today the Stellar Military has renamed the Death Marine Corp to the Stellar Vanguard Corps, a change which most of the companies have accepted with open arms.

The new name was one of only a few changes to the Corps, among which was the adoption of new battle armor by the augmented soldiers. The new Mk.V includes several improvements over previous variants, including better mobility, visibility, situational awareness, durability, and survivablity. Among these upgrades includes the implementation of the newly developed Mk.1 personal Forcefield, the first of its type to see Service within the Stellar Military. The Corps also saw its ranks expanded, with the Stellar Military announcing that the Vanguards will be allowed to recruit as many companies as seen fit, though this will also mean a much more active role in military actions by the Vanguards.

Another change has come in a slight improvement in the process of augmentation which creates the Vanguards. The Vanguard Corps has thus announced that it is now recruiting female candidates, though it has warned that the fatality rate among female members is slightly higher than for male canidates due to stresses caused on the female body. The Vanguards have also stated that it will not be taking efforts to make female Vanguards distinguishable from their male counterparts via their armor, and that they will be receiving the same equipment regardless of their gender, and will be held to the same expectations and standards as their male counterparts.

The Stellar Military has also released a statement confirming that the Stellar Vanguards will be receiving new weaponry, though it has not yet released details about the new weaponry and equipment that they will be recieving other than the new armor, and we will be on the look out for any new updates,but until then, we will be watching.

Cracking Down on Unrest

Unrest in Aellyria has stirred since the escape of Rhaenir Aeylgarn. It was recently leaked that the government had previously known of his escape prior to it being released to the public. Congress is calling for the removal of President Maelyx Aeylgarn, much to the dismay of the rural population of Aellyria. Ethnic and language divides between the rural farming communities and the rich urban communities have strained this country for a long time, even before the Republic but tensions are higher than ever, while most of the Deritan-speaking city communities support Congress and would also like to see the removal of the President, the much more rural german-speaking farming communities have pledged their support to the President.

In other news, the Presidents pregnant wife Brigitta Aeylgarn is nowhere to be seen, when asked to comment on that President Aeylgarn just said that she is safe, and coping well with the pregnancy.

The President's Speech

Maelyx Aeylgarn fled the capital city of Montreal for the more southern city of Feldkirch, where he spent a portion of his youth. This was in response to Congress calling for his head, stating that the republic could never be stable until all of the Aeylgarns were dead. They held firm on this stance when questioned about Brigitta Aeylgarn and the unborn Aeylgarn child. Maelyx was aided by his newly christened Wolfswaffen, who are drafted directly from the wraiths, a special forces squad previously classified by the president. The former President has immersed himself back into his ethnic culture of the more rural agrarian communities that his mother was said to come from. It is well known that the Triumvirates mother was, in fact, a consort originating from a small noble family in the Germanic populations that make up most of Aellyria, however, due to the popularity of intermixing with wealthy foreigners before the time of Maelyx's father who established a closed border policy, most of the elites are in fact not even ethnically Aellyrian but instead foreigners who over generations found their way into the upper parts of society.

Many volunteers have flooded the recruiting booths of the new Aeylgarn military, many from the Republics army. Nathaniel Washington, a friend, and General of the republic will be leading the remaining Republican forces against Maelyx Aeylgarn and his new Wolfswaffen. Aellyria has appeared to fall in on itself, the question remains, will the gifted Aeylgarn remain unscathed or will the Republic triumph victorious?

Queen Nesaenna Murdered!

Today marks a grave time in the history of the kingdom, as today an explosion caught the vehicle carrying Queen Nesaenna. The explosion was caused by what has been confirmed to be a small, but powerful explosive.

The Stellar Intelligence Agency has been hard at work searching for a rad, however the case has yet run dry, and it is still unclear who the culprit is. The Stellar Vanguard has been called upon tic provide increased security for the King, who now greaves at the loss of his beloved wife, and who has promised to bring her murderer to justice, no matter how long t may take

The Last Rights

Zuerst Maelyx Aeylgarn is holding a funeral for his late sister. Although there is no body, much to his distress. With the first funeral being held by Wolfwaffen. In honor of his late sister, the former dragon queen of the dominion, he burned one thousand prisoners from the Republican forces and dedicated them to her. The Zeurst has sworn that if he finds his sisters killer, justice will be served with the utmost zeal, the tomb of the dragon queen resides in the city of Feldkirch, where it will be attended to by relatives of the Aeylgarn family of their maternal side.

In other news, the Wolfwaffen is finding victory in many cities, but the forces of the Republicans still hold on.
