King-Emperor Celebrates Ruby Jubilee

Algiers was the place of celebration this year in Derita as King-Emperor Christopher II marked his 40th Anniversary as King-Emperor of Derita. Having celebrated his Silver Jubilee in 2046 with massive parades in Vanessa and Normandy, as well as his Emerald Jubliee with church going activities in 2051, this year Christopher II celebrated with show casing his beautiful family.

The 68 year old sovereign monarch of our glorious empire was joined in Algiers at the Anna Rosa Palace next to the ocean by his wife, Alara-Élisabeth, their 12 children and their respective spouses and his 15 grandchildren. As well as those there was his sister and his brother-in-law, Empress Alanna and the former Francis II respectively; as well as the King-Emperor's mother, Queen Mother Sara, age 93. Queen Anastasia, Christopher II's beloved adoptive niece was there as well.

The massive royal Family was paraded from the palace into the city of Algiers itself, performers and dances and acrobats followed, handing out small 2 karat rubies with the cost of arms of the King-Emperor stamped into them in honor of the Ruby Jubliee. Christopher II and his family were presented in front of a crowd, in which Christopher II and Anastasia of Polamd together revealed a new statue in the Algiers City Centre of his glorious, the beloved King-Emperor with smaller statues of his family stop a 105 foot tall pillar.

Festivals were held afterwards and a general Carnival was held, Christopher II putting on traditional North Africa dress and being presented with pictures and paints of his ancestors, whom descend from the region. The entire event was topped off with a speech at night with a grand speech

The young Empress went through several hours of painful labor before producing the sweet baby girl known as Emily, named after the first wife of Connor II's father, Connor I. The baby weighed a healthy 8 pounds and was sent by her mother to be taken cared of in a nursery.

VALI KILLED BY NORTH TIMERIAN OLYMPIAN SPECIAL FORCES
Terrorist Vali was killed last night in a raid on an island in the Atlantic Ocean. Special Forces launched from Ascention Island by Raiju VTOLs. The island was hit with a number of Kinetic rods before the forces conducted the raid on the building believed to be housing Vali. The President stated the surrounding area was hit with precision bombardment to reduce the threat level. The forces raided a Villa near the northern edge. Vali was found trying to escape through an underground tunnel system that led to a boathouse and was killed after picking up a rifle stashed on board his get away boat. The Olympians then evaced with Vali's body and Marines moved in to secure the Island. The island is current under tight watch and there's a 2 mile wide no-fly zone. Marines have reported over 60 arrest from the Island at the moment.

People have already hit the streets especially cities effected by his deadly reign. Cheering and singing could be heard from the town on Ascension throughout the night.

Thousands dead, Tens of thousands wounded, strange things have been happening in Kingston for many days now and only now is the Empire guard responding, Eighty Thousand Empire Guard personnel have been sent to Kingston. Some people who managed to get out of the City before it was quarantined stated "Strange creatures that simply kill people and then leave." have been roaming the streets, however with the growing number of corpses and panic and the overall breakdown of order in the city the corpses were never moved and now they spread disease like wildfire. Thousands of protesters have been gathering at the quickly built wall protesting this horrendous act to which the Empire Guard has stated "The City of Kingston is a lost cause! These creatures now control the city and no matter how many Members of the Guard we send none return! Already Fourteen thousand Guardsman lay dead inside that city!"
Panic is spreading throughout the regions surrounding Kingston and as a precaution the Empire Guard has quarantined these regions as well.

Three days before Her Majesty's birthday, and six days after her father former King Daral I abdicated from the Atmoran Throne. Queen Katherine II was crowned Queen of Atmora and the Dominions. The Coronation toke place in the Atmoran Parliamentary Building at noon, where Senators and the Members of Parliament gathered for Her Majesty's enthronement and crowning, President Donovan of Irav was one of the only foreigner to attend the Coronation of Katherine II besides the Dominion Prime Ministers and their Governor-Generals.

Her Majesty Queen Katherine II of Atmora was crowned Queen of Atmora and the Dominions along with singing and playing of the Royal Anthem of the Atmoran Empire; the Maple Leaf Forever.

As the Queen exited the Parliament to the Royal Castle of Alexandria to make sure preparations for the Coronation Party are ready. Atmorans along with citizens from the Atmorans Dominions were waiting outside cheering and shouting out; "Long Live the Queen!" along with the Unified Atmoran Military giving the Queen a 21 Gun Salute and the UAAF and the Dominion Air Forces doing a fly by, and finally the UAN and Dominion Warships firing off blanks into the Strait of Kermode.

A great celebration was give today as the young and new wife of King Ferdinand II of Romania gave birth to a child just eight months after their quiet and private wedding. The child has been announced to be a girl, Crown Princess Thérèsa Jeanna Élisabeth of Romania. The child, the second granddaughter of King-Emperor Christopher II and Empress Alara-Élisabeth is currently now the King's heir, though by law if he later has a son, he will out place his sisters. Great celebrations have been held in Romania. Princess Thérèsa weighted a small 5.7 pounds but has proven to be healthy. King Ferdinand II himself was unfortunately not there I time to see the birth but arrived some time later on. Empress Charlotte, Princess of Geneva has been appointed the child's godmother whilst Queen Elisabeth of Romania honored her brother-in-law by naming Crown Prince André as the godfather.

Following the disaster at Kingston the Wecovian Cabinet, Monarch, Congress and Parliament have all met in order to discuss this incident, it is behind closed doors.
After the conference it was announced the the quarantine on all ares outside of Kingston was to be lifted, however the Kingston Quarantine will stay in effect. The Death toll has been updated with about 139,000 Dead and 17,000 Empire Guard dead. As a result the Empire guard has announced that they will stop sending troops into Kingston and will instead conduct bombing runs stating "The causalities on the Civilian Population will be acceptable losses."

Today, newly elected president Chancellor Powell signed a peace treaty along side Prime Minister Cassidy Leftwood of the Royally United Provinces. This comes one week after his revolutionary forces finally drove the last Provite forces from the city of Athens. The crumbling RUP faced uprisings in many of its principalities. The former King of Athens sought to hold onto his kingdom but has failed to do so. Tomorrow, President Powell is expected to open Parliament next month alongside the Council of Supreme Magistrates. A new constitution has been announced to be drafting by President Powell who holds all power at the moment.

On another side of news, General Casteral has announced a celebration of the victory over Provite forces in Athens at Athena Square. He invites people of all gender, age, size, and shape to join the celebration of independence.

Tonight Apex satellites will activate their electrodynamic tether and orbit the earth to bring down space debris. It is estimated that over 200 million pieces of space debris will be taken out of orbit. This is the number of objects we are able to track, smaller objects will also be taken out of orbit. The debris will fall back to earth and burn up while reentering the atmosphere. Most of the debris is expected to burn up or fall into the ocean. As a precaution North Timerian missile defenses will be on alert to intercept anything if needed. Only debris 7cm or smaller will be taken out to protect satellites and other pieces of equipment.

This is all to prepare for what Stefan has called the biggest leap yet. After tonight is successful he plans to make a huge announcement to the world.

Moments ago, President Powell finished a now counted to be 95 minute address to the newly opened Parliament. This is amid the demands of King George to take away our newly found independence in his dreams of a united Greece. He stated his hope to see his nation flourish under his term. Avoiding more harsh words.

Following his speech, President Powell followed around fifty MP's into a room where they are signing the new constitution that has been in draft for a while now.

Reports are coming in now that the constitution has been signed and President Chancellor Powell has slipped away to his mansion outside of Athens leaving the Citadel to its new use to the Parliament.

Her brother, the Prince of Wales has blamed it on the overextending of the Empress. Finally she gave birth to a baby girl, Princess Alexia. Though born at just 23 months, dangerously premature, Alexia is alive for now, and only time will tell if she will make it.

Last night Apex successfully cleared and estimated 205 million pieces of space debris. Eliminating a large portion of debris in orbit and making space a lot safer. Now after a huge successes Prince Stefan has just announced the company's newest mission.

Project Atlantis

Project Atlantis will be a city that orbits the earth and is said to have an artificial atmosphere. Project Atlantis has been in the works for over 5 years. The station will use technology from Project Quviagijaujuq to produce an artificial atmosphere. Apex hopes that this new technology will be successful and will be used to terraform Mars some time in the future. The station will house 17,000 people and people can register right now. There are a number of Apex headquarters around the world. Switzerland, Thailand, and the USC are all home to headquarters. People can also register online to be selected for a spot. The main goal of the project is to see how people react to living in a new environment.

Atlantis will orbit 300 miles above earth and the first piece is expected to launch this summer. The website says the station will began accepting citizens in Q2 of 2062 but no exact date has been set. The website was hit with a wave of traffic after Prince keynote at Solar Spirit Amphitheater in Veyrac Bay. Many people are excited for this and Prince Stefan has promised it will be worth their time and money.

The President spoke on King George call to reunite Greece. The President said that there is currently no reason for Greece to be reunited under Great Hyruke. He said spoke on the happiness of the Greek people under Timerian jurisdiction and that this would be taking a step backwards. The President has no plans to give up Greece but it is not clear what other have in store or what they're willing to do to reunite Greece. A recent poll showed that 79% of Greeks don't want to separate from North Timeria. Most of the reasons included Democratic government, stability, and quality of life. We asked Neo Makris; a citizen of Sparta who's a Metallurgists what his thought were on King George's call to unite Greece
"I love my Greek brothers and I love my home but I don't want to live in those conditions. I remember Greece before the war and I do not believe we were doing as well as we are now. My mother and father remember and they both agree with me. They can hold a referendum but I don't believe they will vote to leave the commonwealth with North Timeria."

The government has discussed holding a referendum but there has yet to be any major actions. The government widely support staying with North Timeria except for 2 governor in Corinth and Isthmia. Both are border towns and have had different views for quite some time.The people are much more conservative and most are nationalist. Almost 95% of the vote to separate came from tome to areas alone. Just west in Sicyon there's a major North Timerian AFB that plays a major role in Missile defense. People from those area held protest outside of the base.

They were written by Marie, the Duchess of Wied and fallen Queen of the Netherlands. The Duchess of Wied, who as a Queen ruled for several months in 2059, has been under house arrest for the past three years due to her involvement with her husband, a known terrorist who had foreign navies attack the beloved and innocent people of Haarlem. In 2061, the Duchess of Wied's only two children were brutally ripped away from her and taken to Atmora, causing the Duchess much distress. The letters, at least two dozen, are of a humble woman who has repented her wrong doings of the past. For example:

With the release of 27 letters from 2062 alone to various people, many wonder if perhaps the Duchess of Wied had learn her lesson. But others say that the Duchess is simply desperate for freedom that she will take any way out she can. The Empress has not made a comment on this whilst the Prime Minister stressed that The Duchess is probably insane and listed as a domestic terrorist and poteinal threat to national security.

Insurgency in Greece?

A North Timerian base was overrun last night by protesters. The Airmen used less-than lethal force but they were under strength and soon retreated back to the command facility. Contact with them was lost and the military is currently working to handle the situation. Protesters have fortified the base and it is believed they are close to gaining access to the armory. The military hopes to handle it before they can equip themselves with military grade weapons.

Their hasn't been any movement for a while now except for journalist trying to cover the story.

Also Corinth and Isthmia have both declared their Independence and Federal employees were exiled from the 2 cities. The cities are currently in a state of rebellion and the government has warned people from travel North. People were fleeing the cities all last night before armed men closed off the highways. There have been no reports from the police and contact with both cities have been lost.
